"I can believe that!" James told the guy. He couldn't believe that he was talking to the guy about information. He glanced away from the guy for a moment to think about some things to say. He couldn't really think of anything more to say. He looked over at him when he said that he was a lifer. "A what? And to let you know I'm not a girl so you can leave out the word Frilly." he told Scorpius. He actually stood there wordless. He thought for a moment. And then realized something. "Okay so I wouldn't quit. I'm not a quitter. Nor a traitor." he said for a moment. He nodded when he said that. "I am already different than my father. I went to muggle schools and had actual friends in school. I've competed in so many sports and won first or second in most of them. I play muggle sports. He plays wizard sports." he told him.
"No they wouldn't. We actually put a hex on it if they say something to anyone we would know. Once they join they got a certain mark." he said for a moment. "The only reason Albus didn't have anything is because I told Phoenix to trust him and to lay off of him. Dannie knew nothing much so she had no mark to show. And the members don't really know what the mark is." he said for a moment. "When my father started it with Ron and Hermione they had made a mistake. They had a list. Now Phoenix and I had a different way. We will I'm not exactly sure on that but I do know there isn't a list of members in plain site." he said for a moment. "I'm not like my father!" he said for a moment. Which he didn't know but he was like him without even knowing it. "Really? And would you care to help?" he asked him for a moment. He listened and nodded to what he was saying at the right times. "My father would let him. He doesn't really like being known as the Boy who lived. He's more than just that." he said with a small smile.
James missed Scorpius but felt Scorpius fist hit his stomach and fell to the ground laying on his back. He looked up to him as he spoke trying to get air back into his body. He listened to him as he spoke. "Man I didn't even see that coming!" he said for a moment. Which was true he didn't see it as a game and he didn't even see the returned punch. He finally found the air he needed to stand up. He stood up carefully. "Good Punch!" he said to him.
"That's for me to know and you to find out!" he said with a smile. "Who killed my mother?" he asked him for a moment. He didn't want to hurt the person. He just wanted to know who had killed his mother. It was bothering him that he didn't know who killed her. He wanted to move on beyond that.
