Scorpius spent some time in the living room playing with Luke and watching over him and Demon along with Chaos as he took the time to think about everything that has been going on. He caught that the rumour was started by one of the professors that Callie wasn’t his real sister. He started to wonder which one it was so he could take around out of the professor for starting and saying something like that out loud. He was wondering how his sister was doing with all that since it all came out. Especially, since Aidan had a few things to do that he couldn’t stick around to help Callie or to tell her any stories. He was grateful that Aidan left him a few things to share with Callie over the family.


He also knew that he would have to tell Callie about his meeting with Dannie. He wasn’t sure how well that all was going to go over. He partially dreaded the moment he came clean and told her about his meeting with Dannie. He knew that she wasn’t going to be happy with it. None the less, he was always honest with his sister. He got up off the floor to let Luke play with demon and Chaos. He decided that there was no time like the present to talk to his sister.

“Hey Callie, Can you come in here. I need to talk to you.” Scorpius shouted up the stairs. He wasn’t exactly sure where in the house she was but he was more than certain she heard him call out to her. He ducked into the kitchen to get a drink for him and callie and luke’s sippy cup and returned. He set them all down on the table before he took a seat and waited for Callie.

The sound of the piano playing came from the sun pouch in the back of the house; Angelus and Aidan had moved one of the smaller Piano’s before they left so that when she was having a bad day and started to feel weak and tired she could still play it and not have to worry about climbing the stairs to get to the music room. She stopped playing as she heard Scorpius calling for her. Closing up to the piano to protect it from the dogs and the cats she got up and slowly walked to the living room where she knew he would be. Looking around she laughed a little for all the kids in this house and pets it was surprisingly quiet today.

Watching him for a moment before she entered the room she giggled and laughed “You rang?” she asked in a playful tone before she turned and sat on the couch across from him and wrapped her favorite blanket around herself. “What a cold day why doesn’t the house elves have the fire places lit?” She asked as she shook a little. Her eyes wandered around the room at all the pictures of her growing up just then she suddenly got the urge to burn them all; well not all of them the ones with Scor in them could stay if you ask her he was the father figure in her life so it was okay to have those picture around. Mrs. Malfoy lied to her and worse the way she treated Callie growing up was just so wrong hitting her with a broom and beating her once and a while if the woman was going to do that then why in the world did she take Callie in? Now that Aidan was away there was no one to answer in questions about her real family and Callie felt lost. Why does everyone that is important to her leave? Does she do something? She didn’t know.

Sighing she looked at him “You wanted to talk to me? I swear I’ve been good no running around and I’m staying calm my heart is good Tristan said so” she said softly and slowly before she looked at Luke and smiled. “How is your day going?” she asked Scor.

Scorpius heard the piano and he always felt bad bothering her when she was playing. But at the same time he also wished that she’d try to go out a little more often. He shrugged it off as he waited for her come out. He watched Luke play with Demon and Bana. He wasn’t sure what was going to come of this and the last thing he wanted was to upset Callie but he couldn’t lie to her regardless of her condition. He was going to be up front and tell her the truth. He worked too hard for too long to lose her over anything.

He smiled slightly at Callie when she walked in and chuckled at her little comment before he glanced over to the fire place. He shrugged when he pulled out his wand, “Incendio.” He whispered faintly as the wood instantly caught fire. He glanced to her and smirked, “problem solved.” He said then looked back to the fire. He glanced back to her only to follow her gaze at all the photos, “You’re not destroying them” he said before looking back to the fire. “Family is family no matter how much you like or dislike them, Callie.” he added. He knew that she had been down since Aidan left, “You know, Aidan will come back in time. He knows you want answers and so long as Skylar is around, Aidan will always return.” He said trying to comfort her. he knew that he wasn’t doing a very good job and he knew that this could destroy things between him and her but he hoped that nothing happened between them.

“Yeah, I needed to talk to you.” He said, “I was told that Dannielle was in London that she was leaving. I know I promised not to see her but I went.” He looked to Callie, “She agreed not to leave and I brought her here when we left the airport.” He explained in a low tone so she could hear him and grasp everything but not for the rest of the house. “I owed it to her at least to talk and straighten a few things out. No one is going to lose me, Callie. But she is also in the Gang and I do have the responsibility to the gang members. I brought her here because I didn’t know where else to take her and because I started to teach her a few things so she can challenge James Potter and so she can make a few attacks on Cruento.” He told her. “It’s strictly business between her and I.”

Callista looked at the fire and smiled if there was one thing in her life she could count on it was definitely Scorpius Malfoy the boy who raised her and who never leaves her and she loved him for it; honestly there was only two people she loved in this world and one didn’t see her like that and the other was her brother. Just then Abebith ran in and jumped on the couch next to Callie and licked her face before laying down and resting his head in her lap. “Oh right Scor can you take Abebith out for a run I can’t run with him and he seems to not want to run around without someone playing with him” she said in a sad tone it was really not fair that she was not allowed to run around anymore she felt bad for her dog.

Looking up at him when he somehow read her mind and told her she was not allowed to destroy the pictures she puffed up her cheeks and let out a sigh before looking away “Your mother is not my family only you are my family” she said honestly as it was no secret that Callie hated Scor’s mother even before this news. The scars on her back from that woman was enough of a reminder to last a life time of that evil woman that pa*sed herself off as a mother for fifteen years. “I know he will be back he told me; he always said that he would be checking in with Skylar on how I am doing and that you are still in charge which you two are just going to have to work together because I will not stand for the two of you fighting over who has what right! You both have the right. Do you think you and Aidan can work together?” she asked softly as she petted Abebith.

Callista listened to him and nodded letting him get it all out before she said anything back to him. In fact she had already heard he had went to London to see Dannie because Skylar came looking for Scorpius to tell him that and after thinking about it some she realized that telling her big brother how he can and cannot date was wrong maybe now was the time for her to say sorry for screwing it all up because she let the girl get to her and upset her? Callista has just been in a weird place since then and with all the health problems and people leaving her she just didn’t know which way was up anymore. When he was done explaining everything she smiled and nodded “It’s okay in fact all this time alone in this house I’ve been thinking” she said softly as she stood up and moved closer to him and sitting on the couch next to him then taking his hand.

“I’m sorry. I should not have demanded that you not see Dannie I really had no right you can see and date anyone you like, I know you would let me date anyone and just kill them if they hurt me so I should be like that and allow this Dannie girl around here. I trust that you know who is safe and who isn’t” she stopped to take a breath. “Can you forgive me for my stupid actions? My life was just in a down ward spiral and I was scared of losing you too but I should have known that you are not going anywhere. I am stuck with you” she said with a laugh and a smile as she suddenly hugged him.

Scorpius smirked as he noticed that she smiled at the fire. He did find it peaceful that she seemed so calm and relaxed. He did enjoy watching her with her dog. He glanced over to the fire for a second then back to her when she started to speak. He nodded, “Yeah, I can take Abetith out for a run. I can take him out tomorrow when I take Demon and Bana out.” He told her. “I’ll make him work tomorrow.” He smirked then looked back to the fire, “You know, I can always take you with me.” He stated, “Get you out of the house for a bit.”

He watched the fire in the fireplace dancing and giving the room strong warmth. He glanced to his sister when she started to speak. He didn’t mean to allow her to have so much time in the manor alone. But with him studying and practicing so he could grad out of school sooner than expected. He did know that he would have to talk to her about that. He pulled his hand from hers to put his arm around her as he leaned back in the couch and pulled her into him. “There is another thing I need to talk to you about too.” He said in a low tone.

Watching her from the corner of his eyes as she spoke; he was surprised at what he was hearing her say. He looked back to the fire as he took in what she said and thought about it. He didn’t ever understand why she had such a problem with Dannie. He glanced back to Callie, “Why do you not like Dannie?” he questioned. “Callie, sweetness, you know that I can’t stay mad at you. You know that I’ll always forgive you no matter what you say or do.” he squeezed her gently against himself, “You’re not going to lose me. We are stuck with each other and together until the end of time.” He returned the hug, holding her tightly. He wasn’t sure how to reach her out and teach her that she had nothing to worry about.

Abebith cuddled with her he was trained to watch her and then go get help if something went wrong and this dog took it seriously. Callista pet Abebith and smiled “See boy one of us is going to get excerise” she said as she looked up at Scor and smiled “Thank you I know I promised to take care of him but it looks like he takes care of me more” she said in a calm tone. “Me? Go out? And run? Get me out of the house? You don’t have to do that I’m okay I don’t need to go out” she said trying to stay in her calm and happy state; of course she wanted to do all those things but the truth and the reality of it all was that she was no longer able too.

Callista looked at Abebith and smiled she loved him so much but was sad that he didn’t get out as much as he should. Callista was having more bad days then good and it was starting to show not only mentally but physically she was skinnier, paler and weaker but she was still fighting and hanging in there for Scorpius, Aidan and all her friends it was she was so lonely with Scorpius studying to leave school and Aidan had to go too so she really didn’t have anyone to talk to anymore. Yes the house was full of people but she spent most her time in her now 1st floor bedroom and musical sun room. She snapped out of her thoughts as she heard him speak. “What else could there be?” she asked softly.

“I don’t trust her around you. I just don’t like her and that’s no reason to tell you that you can’t see her; if you really do like her go for it I will not stop or stand in your way I promise I really do” she said as she blinked as he pulled her into him but she latched on to him like she was going to be pulled away from him at any second. “Until the end time? I’m scared that my time is going to end soon” she didn’t want to say that but it just came out and there was no taking it back now.

Scorpius smirked as he listened to callie, “That’s the way he has been trained.” He stated as he glanced back to the fire. “You love him, spend time with him in your own way. He loves you and wants to protect you just as much otherwise he wouldn’t do what he does.” He stated. he glanced back to her, “I didn’t say run. I just said to get out of the house.” He shook his head, “Yes you do, you can’t stay locked up in here forever.” He stated. He thought it was pretty stupid that he couldn’t find a spell to help with her heart yet if he was to take her to the muggle world they could solve the problem in a heartbeat.

He knew that he was spending a lot of time away from her and the manor lately but he started to wonder that maybe he should tell her himself. He wasn’t sure if anyone else told her or explained to her what exactly he was doing. “I’m sure Kota or Skylar might have told you why I haven’t been around but I never actually came to you and talked to you about it myself. I have been spending my time studying and going over material so I can challenge Hogwarts so I can get out of school.” He stated as he glanced to her as he held onto her. “I think I’m almost ready to challenge the finals.” He told her. “I made sure that there were precautions set into place for your safety. Tristan is going to take really good care of you...but under the circumstances, maybe I should check with someone else?” He added.

He nodded slightly as he listened to her talk about Dannie. “I really don’t think she’d do anything to hurt me. We all know that I’ve always hurt everyone around me and not the other way around.” He told her, “What did she do that you don’t trust her?” he questioned. He glanced to her as she latched on to him and he could feel his heart almost melt knowing that she must be afraid of something. He didn’t know how to teach her that she wasn’t going to lose him, especially due to the necklace that he gave her. He started to wonder if she knew what that necklace really was. “You’re time won’t end soon.” He whispered to her. “We’ll both join Skylar’s clan before your time comes due.” He added in the same delicate tone as he hugged.

Callista looked down at her dog and smiled as she listened to Scorpius talk about the dog, she did spent a lot of time with him and keeping him healthy but she still felt bad that she couldn’t take him for walks or runs anymore. “There is no point to going outside brother, all it will do is making it worse or upset me” she said honestly. She would give an arm to be able to sit by an open window without getting sick but she couldn’t so she just stayed indoors only feeling the sun on her face when she was in the sun room reading. Looked at floor for a minute and sighed “What else can I do? Huh? If I go out there it could make things so much worse.

She had heard that he was studying a lot and that he wanted to try and get out of school early at first she was upset about that because she needed him there but realized it would be wrong to share that with him. If he wanted to leave school that is great for him if he pa*ses. Callista would be so proud of him if he were to pa*s she knew he was smart. “Tristan is fine” she said quickly as she stared off in space. “That’s great I hope you pa*s” she said with a smile on her face.

“Why I don’t trust her? I did a background check on her and she is from a halfblooded family and I have never trusted half bloods!” she said in a soft yet annoyed tone. She held him tightly she was really scared that she was going to die and there was no way to stop it from happening and she was going to have to leave him. It was funny she never once thought that it would be her that was going to be the one to leave him and not him her. Her necklace hit his chest as she got closer to him and closed her eyes. “You promise I am not going to leave this world and you?” she stated in a small and quiet tone.
