The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Parvati Page was by the lake, dancing. Dancing was her favorite thing in the whole world. Well, second only to James Potter. He was the guy that she had met on the train to Hogwarts and he was the guy that she wanted to end up with. She had already decided that if he didn’t ask her out by the end of the year, she would ask him. What she wore was Indian dress. She always found it easier to dance in Indian clothes than regular clothing. Besides, she adored her Indian heritage and preffered their clothing over the English one. Parvati smiled as she finished the dancing and sat down on a blanket, so she didn’t ruin the dress. Her aunt would not appreciate that one bit. Speaking of ruining clothes. It happened so quickly. The sun went down, the clouds rolled in, and it started storming. She quickly gathered up the water and the blanket and ran to the school. If these clothes got ruined, she would never hear the end of it. Parvati threw the blanket and bottle down when she reached the entrance hall and looked down at her wet clothes. She was in for it now. She stared outside, wondering what she was going to do.

Kyo stood in the Entrance Hall, after encountering everyone two days earlier he felt a bit more at ease. So when he noticed a young woman standing by the door looking outside, he lit cigarette and walked quietly behind her. He was feeling a bit odd but that was ok he was more at ease now than he had been two days ago.
His steps were slow and calm as he went closer and then decided to speak to her because he wasn't as nervous. Still a bit uneasey, "Hi. Looks like your having an interesting day," His tone was only some what amused, but he didn't wish to drift about the castle like a ghost any more. He took a few more steps and was standing next to her so that his right side was facing her his normal side. Then he took a seat on the flagstones that made up this part of the Entrance Hall. "So how are you? My name's Kyoshiro Kurimikoto Maxwell." He took another drag of his cigarette and ashed it. He was feeling a bit off he was not exactly pleased about having to be a ghost like being.
As he sat there he stretched and his arms, as he did this his right arm came out and showed its armor plating. He was not really caring what others think about his now changed form it was very different from what was going to happen next. He was talking with this girl the first person other than the people he thought of as his family at the moment. So he stayed there and he was trying to talk to them about some things trying to acquiant himself with some other people. He was feeling a bit unsure about talking to a girl but that was only half of it.

Parvati wasn’t alone. That became apparent when she was overcome with a coughing fit. It didn’t happen very often. It was usually only when she was around someone smoking. She couldn’t handle the smoke like others could. She wasn’t allergic, but she never could handle it. She figured that it had to do with India, when the fighting broke out and inhaling all that smoke before her family decided to return to England.
Then she heard a voice. It was that of a male, but not one that she knew. She really hoped that he wouldn’t try to flirt with her. She almost laughed at what he said. Intresting day… not really. It was more like a terrible day. “Not intresting. It’s a horrible day. I’ve ruined my gown and my aunt is going to kill me.” Parvati said all that between coughing fits. “Well, Kyoshiro Kurikimoto Maxwell or however you pronounced that, would you mind putting that out? I can’t stand cigarette smoke. It’s making me sick.” She coughed again and then said, “My name’s Parvati.”
She didn’t like thinking bad things about anyone, so she was going to overlook the smoking and try to get to know him better. He might be a good person. She hadn’t really seen him around, so she didn’t know anything about him. It would be a good time to learn. “What house are you in? And more importantly, what side are you on? If you are in the gang, we’re going to have problems.”

Kyo glanced awkwardly when he saw the girl start coughing, this had unfortunately happened before most wizards seemed to be allergic or something. He figured it was his fault though, he really didn’t like the feeling of causing others discomfort. It was honestly a hard habit to kick but just as he started to sit up from his reclined position the girl spoke. “Well sure." He said as he tossed the cigarette into the rain snuffing it out. "And this doesn’t look to bad actually. I could fix it for you and it’s a pleasure to meet you."
Kyo said with a little bow he listened to what she said next. As he said as he raised his wand to the dress "Reparo." He said as the water coating her dress disappeared into the tip of his wand and the gown warped back to its original state. "I’m a Ravenclaw and my side is my own." His voice began to grow hollow as he thought of the previous year’s events. "I’m against the slytherin gang, the death eaters and their ilk. If that’s what you’re asking but honestly I don’t stand with the DA either. Their reluctance to act till it was nearly too late cost many of my friends their lives." He smiled at her as he stood up and put away his wand "Well how is that?" Kyo pointed to the dress "I’ve always had a bit of a knack for charms though I don’t know if I got it perfectly back to normal at least now its presentable." he said smiling.
Kyo was sure that he was going to like talking to her; she seemed to be engaging and enjoyable. He was sure that this was something that would be good for him at least a little bit. The rain was a bit of a dampener on his calm mood though; it didn’t really matter though he was only back here for a little while. He didn’t want to stick around for too long that was for sure, he was here to make his amends and then be on his way again.

Magic doesn’t fix everything, but apparently, there weren’t too many people that were taught that. Something’s had to be done the muggle way and fixing the gown should be done that way. Her aunt would know the best way to do it and Parvati was sure that she would be able to tell that magic was used on it. She just didn’t want to tell this Maxwell kid not to bother because some would take offense at that and she didn’t want an enemy of anyone, though she knew that if he hated her and decided to attack her, she would always be protected. Between James and Albus, nobody could hurt her. “Nice to meet you, too.”
She watched as he pointed his wand and said the spell. The dress was soon dry, but it felt different somehow. She wasn’t sure what the dress was made out of, but she knew that it wasn’t meant to get wet. The different texture could be because it got wet or maybe it was the way the spell was with materials that were wet. Parvati had used that spell before, but never to dry things. He spoke about the alliances and she tilted her head, listening to what he was saying, talking about how his friends lost their lives. How does he know that it was the Order’s fault? “I’m neutral, too. I don’t believe in what the gang and order members do, but I’m not completely against them. I mean, I don’t get along with most of them, but some aren’t that bad. Like Albus Potter, do you know him? He’s a pretty nice guy when he wants to be.”
Parvati looked back down at the dress. She wondered if her aunt would buy her another one that looked exactly like that one. This one, she knew, was beyond any repair, she just couldn’t say that to Kyoshiro Maxwell. She was too nice for that. “It looks great, thank you.”
