Poppy was in a good mood. She’d been out on the pitch with Jedrek, playing their own little game of quidditch. Instead of the teams being houses, they were hair color. She was on the red team and he the brown team. He was good and he made many goals. She had to learn how to get better. Jed had taught her a lot. It was him that got her into Quidditch and flying. Poppy was so happy that her sister found a guy like him. For a Slytherin, he was sweet and helpful. And, even though he was on an opposing team, he didn’t show her wrong moves to make sure his team won. It was always fair with him. Why weren’t others this nice? That was something she often wondered. Good people could be in Slytherin and Jedrek proved that.
She went into a dive as Jedrek rolled off his broom and on the ground. He had made up some excuse to leave, so she was left without anyone to play with. Too bad Julian wasn’t around. He would be a fun one to play against. Poppy shook her head as Jed looked back up at her and grinned. “Show off!” she yelled down to him. “We’ll do this again and I will win.” She laughed when he said something to that and called her Petal. She never did understand why he called her that. He just always did. He then yelled something up about maybe having a chance if she got her boyfriend involved. Poppy laughed as she landed on the ground and returned the quaffle to the supply closet. She would go to the common room and polish her broom. She didn’t know what else to do.
This broom had been a present from Jed’s father. She had received it as a birthday present along with the servicing kit to take care of it. It was the newer model and it flew wonderfully. Poppy ran up the steps to the common room and then up to her dorm, where she got the kit and headed back to the common room. She sat down on the couch, with the broom on her lap. She opened the kit and started polishing the handle of the broom. She should probably get some studying done, too. That was more important than her broom. She’ll study later… maybe. It all depends on how she feels. Poppy didn’t pay any attention when someone sat next to her.

Isabella walked down the steps from the dorms slowly with a blanket wrapped around her she had been in bed for three days sick as a dog and not allowing anyone near her because all she wanted was one person and that was Jed. He always help her though her times when she was sick but when at school it was getting harder and harder for the two to be together. The nurses there swore that it was the Slytherin causing her poor health but in reality it was the fact that she just lost her father and her mother wanted nothing to do with her. It had only been a couple of days since she started talking ago after going a year and a half of not talking. Everyone was so shook one teacher even fainted which made Jedrek laugh and the whole cla*s clap that Bella caused a teacher to faint. Bella didn’t care about that she just wanted to get out of this year alive.
This year was different the summer was hard she was dropping from seizures left and right and the Weasley’s and her sister were really worried about her so now the school’s nurses were the same pulling her out of cla*s for just a headache or just one confused look on her face. So now when she was sick she refused to go there or let anyone send her there. Izzy looked around as she noticed her sister. She smiled as she watched her from the stairs she was so happy that she didn’t lose Poppy in the war and that the two sister were close.
“Hey Poppy” she said softly as she walked the couch sitting in the corner and hid in the blanket she didn’t want to worry her sister it was probably just the flu or something her eyes has not given her a warning yet so she ignored it and focus on getting better. “Don’t you wish that there was a common room where all houses could go?”

Poppy wiped the broom down, giving it a shine. It was so shinier than she had ever seen anything. She put the polish away and closed the kit. She knew that she took better care of her broom than anyone else, even Jed. He tended to call it an obsession of hers, but she just wanted to make sure that her broom was perfect and looked good at just about all times. Besides, it gave her something to do instead of thinking of her father or Julian. For some reason, she didn’t think much when she was servicing her broom.
When she heard her sister, she looked up and saw her, wrapped up in a blanket. “Hey, you okay?” Poppy did wish there was a group common room. It would probably always be full of people, though. It seemed to her that there were a lot of people dating someone in a different house this year. “Yes. I could see Julian more then. But I think it’d be the most popular place at the school.” Poppy could see it now, crammed full of people that others won’t be able to fit in the room. “I don’t think the school would want to create one because it could cause more fights between the houses.”
“Oh, Bella, did you know your boyfriend is a show off?” Poppy laughed at she once again saw Jedrek landing on the pitch in her mind. She would love to know how he could do that. “You should see the way he lands. He flips off his broom.” She brought her feet up and sat Indian style. “I wanna do that, but he says it’s dangerous and he won’t teach me.”

Isabella watched Poppy and smiled her little sister had always been able to do things that Bella could not do since she had her accident with her horse that one summer when she was younger. “You are so into keeping your broom clean; I got you some more things that go with that kit I figured you might need more” she said softly. Poppy was all she had left with their big brother not around and their mother just walking out on them. Thank god for Jedrek’s father for taking them in.
“Yeah Sis I’m okay just tired and cold” she said as she wrapped the blanket tightly around herself again. Listening to her sister talk about the idea of having a group common room for all houses she laughed it was true it probably would be the most popular place. Kids would stop going to cla*s just to hang there. “That’s true I could so see Scorpius Malfoy and others fighting with the DA members. I don’t care really I just have this year and next year and I graduate” she said with a smile she could not wait to start a life outside this school, maybe even get married.
Laughing a little she smiled as she listened to Poppy about Jed showing off “Well you know he only does that to bug you right?” she asked with a matter of fact tone. Isabella sighed as she heard all the things that Poppy and Jed could do on a broom, Bella was never allowed to learn her parents and the doctors and the nurses here at Hogwarts refused to let her said it was dangerous with her conditions. “I just wish I could do half the things you can on a broom Poppy” Bella tried to keep the sad tone out of her voice but known she failed. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean it like that you know I didn’t”

Well, naturally, she was into keeping her broom clean. That could be blamed on Jed, teaching her all about broom maintenance and stressing the importance of keeping it clean. She could imagine the look on his face if she didn’t keep it clean. “You would too, if you had to listen to Jedrek stressing the importance of it.” Poppy heard that Bella bought her things for the kit and was glad. She needed a few things. Something’s ran out too quickly. “Great! Thanks, Bella. I could sure use some more.” She was glad that she still had her sister. Her mother didn’t want them and her brother didn’t like them because they weren’t evil. Poppy had to wonder what turned him bad. Maybe all the fights they were forced to listen to between their parents.
She could see Army members picking fights with anyone that wasn’t on their side. It was why she stuck with Jed’s group. The others were too quick to judge and fight with anyone not on their side. At least that was the way it seemed to her. She’d admit to not knowing much about either group. Sure, Poppy had fought on the Army’s side during the war and she could be termed as once being on that side, but that didn’t mean that she had to know a lot about it. When her sister started talking about the years that she had left, Poppy sighed. She had three years left, not counting the year she was in now, and Julian only had two. She would have to get through her seventh year, knowing that he wasn’t in the same school as her. “Lucky you. And when you leave, your boyfriend goes with you. I have three years left and only two more with Julian here.” She’d admit to being a little clingy, but it was really because of him that she got over her father’s death. In a way, he kept her sane.
“Oh does he?” Poppy giggled and shook her head. That did sound like Jed though. She wondered if he would stop if she showed that it didn’t bug her or rather, if she acted like it didn’t bug her. She would just have to stop mentioning it to him when he does it. “I can’t do too much on a broom. I’m not allowed to do too much because Jed doesn’t want me to get hurt, so I can only do basics.” One of these days, she’ll learn to do something dangerous and not even Jed would be able to know how to do it. It’ll probably be hard to find one of those tricks. He seemed to know them all, definitely better than any professional player. She leaned back in her seat and looked at Bella. “Let’s get off this subject. There has to be a million other things we can talk about.”

Isabella laughed as she listened to her sister talk about Jed and his speeches about how important it was to care for a broom. The only time she was on a broom was when she was on Jeb’s with him, she couldn’t ride alone just encase so sometimes he takes her up on his so she can see what it is like. “Poppy if I tell you something you promise not to tell Jed or his father?” she asked knowing that this was something she should tell Jed but was too scared to really admit it to herself. “Just let me know when you are running low and I’ll get the things for you” she said with a smile. She was serious too she wanted to help her sister as best she could. The two girls only had each other now.
Moving the blanket she sighed as her bruised arm could be seen realizing it she covered herself up, and listened to her sister talk. “Hang in there girl everything will be okay” she said softly. Isabella smiled "but Poppy you never know he might be a teacher and come back” she said trying to cheer her sister up. “Hey there is a hogsmeade trip coming did you want to come down there with me?” she asked knowing soon that she was going to have to go to St. Mungo’s to get check out after her nasty fall off buttercup.
“Poppy do you think that Mr. Weasley and Jed would make me sell my horses? You know the two that Daddy got me. I mean I know I fell a long time ago and I got hurt well what if I said I fell again like recently?” she asked knowing that her sister was going to be pissed at her for not saying something sooner.
