Evie did not often wander into the forest, considering she was quite aware of many of the things that wandered around in there that she was not equipped to deal with under normal circumstances. And, despite there being other circumstances in which she found herself in the forest, it did not seem very familiar now. Of course, that was because she could hardly be considered herself in the times, well, there hadn't been many transformations since school started, that she was a werewolf. But now she had figured it was as good a time as any to get used to the forest when she was herself. At least, she had gotten restless inside and decided that a little adventure never hurt anyone. Going into the Forbidden Forest was definitely an adventure.
So she had entered, and was now wandering on the vague little path that she had found among the dead leaves and tree roots on the ground. For the first time in the forest like this, she would play it safe. At least for the time being, until she found herself comfortable in the green surroundings. She could feel the faint tug on her mind that told her she had been there before, and knew where that came from. Yeah, that odd feeling of de ja vu tended to happen in this area... But she would live through it.
Picking up her pace, she disappeared into the environment of the forest, looking for something interesting to catch her eye or to meet up with someone who had also ventured into the Forbidden Forest for whatever reason they might have for being there. This was all about exploration and allowing herself to breathe in the fresh air she craved. It sure beat staying inside and having to be cramped somewhere. Not that she minded being inside... but there were times where anyone could get restless from being stuck.

Dakota was panicing as she ran towards the forest as if she was running from someone or something. She really needed her friends help on this one, advice was needed, a plan was needed, a story was a must, Kota was not great at any of those things and this is why she asked Callista and Scorpius to meet her in the forest after curfew. It was only a matter of time before some realized that she was not doing well at all, Lucius kept her up all hours of the night and her grades were dropping and her sleeping habits were out the window. Scorpius was helping as much as he could but Kota rarely let her son out of her sight. Sighing as she entered the forest and started to get deeper and deeper into it she didn't want anyone listening in or knowing that they were out there. Climbing a nearby tree she sat on the branch and waited for the three to get there.
Thinking that Scorpius might be in the forest she walked out of the school she was really happy today everything was going great nothing could change her mind she knew that Scorpius and herself where close nothing was going to change that and he was going to help her with her cla*ses but then again Kota really had to find Evelyn she missed the girl and knew that Evie could help her with her studies.
Looking down when she heard a noise she smiled as she saw the girl “Evelyn!” Kota said happily as she jumped out of the tree and ran over to her dear friend. Quickly she looked at the moon and was happy it was not full that just meant she had not bugged Evie on the night she was going to turn. “How are you?” she asked happily again, only Evie and Scor have ever seen Kota truly happy. “What brings you out here?” she asked just then her owl appeared and dropped a letter from Callista saying that they were sorry but Scor and herself would not be going. Kota pouted before she smiled again. “Well I am free now do you want to do something?”

Evie had been wandering still, walking through the forest in silence that was odd for the normally very energetic and somewhat ADD girl. Her thoughts had, oddly enough, turned to the person she considered her best friend, Dakota Bletchley. Kota and her had stuck together since their first year at Hogwarts and had been great friends for a while, doing most things together. However, towards the end of their fifth year things had gotten a bit distant... Both had problems, or at least trials to deal with and they had both acknowledged that... but she did miss her. She knew Kota had Lucius to care for and was dealing with a lot with Scorpius and all, and she had been learning to cope with her newfound curse, but that didn't stop her. She would have to try and make sure their friendship came back. She most certainly did not want to lose it.
And, as fate is wont to do, Kota happened to be there. Evie had been lost in thought and not paying attention, but the shouting of her name and the flash as someone jumped out of a tree and towards her shocked her out of this reverie. Once she had a moment to gather herself and find out who it was, a large grin replaced her shocked expression. Speak of the devil! She was glad to see her, very glad. She caught her friend's glance at the moon and sighed, but quickly tried to write it off. "You know, you can call me Evie? Evelyn's far too formal," she responded lightheartedly.
"And I'm doing just fine, really. Though I have missed you. Its been a while... we've both been busy with our... new.. responsibilities," she said, answering the question. "And you? How have you been?" She was certainly glad it was not a full moon. That would not have boded well for her friend. She didn't want to test the theory that a werewolf would kill their best friend... "Oh, I was just coming out to wander. I needed some fresh air or I was going to scream," she sighed, giving a rather big huff to show all of the pent-up energy running through the fifteen year old. "And I'm free as ever. What do you have in mind?" she asked, choosing to (or you'd like to think) ignore the owl that had just given Kota a letter.

Kota was happy that it was Evie and no one else it was rumored that people were targeting the members of the gang that were closet to Scor which meant that Herself, Callie and Luke were a target that was probably why Kota has not been sleeping; she wanted to be awake to watch her son twenty four seven. When Mrs. Malfoy was around she told Kota that the feeling of protecting your child was going to be strong, but she really didn’t believe her or that a fifteen year old was really old enough mentally to care for a baby but here she was almost a year later caring and raising this cute baby boy. Looking at Evie she smiled feeling bad that they had lost touch and decided at that moment that she wanted to reconnect.
Noticing the sigh Kota knew right away what she did wrong and looked at her friend quickly “Evie, I wasn’t really looking at the moon to check it I like the moon is so peaceful I always stare at it when I come out here. Scor and Callista were going to come but they decided not too” she said with an honest smile. The whole werewolf thing never bothered Kota and she was never scared about getting hurt she could only pray her friend would know that. Right call her Evie how could she forget that? She would just blame it on lack of sleep if asked why she forgot that.
“I’ve missed you too but now that Scor is seeing that I need more help I’ll be able to come around more and hang out. You know if you need any help with anything I am here for you” she said in a motherly tone not really meaning it she laughed “Sorry about the tone and if I sounded like a mother having a kid and all does that to you” she said with another laugh. When she was asked what she wanted to do Kota had to fight the sleep answer and sighed “it’s been so long I don’t know what is fun anymore. What do you want to go do?”
