Kita decided to go out and work on her dancing and singing as it has been a while. She was stuck in the haven for a while and needed a change to get out, find herself once more and return to her roots. She left the haven as it was a bright starred night out with a sliver of a moon hanging loosely in the sky. She found herself near the willow tree as she knew that it would be a great place to take a break. She also knew that a sweet friend that she forever had a crush on should be back and would know where she was at; if he was interested in finding her. As she moved her head to the beat inside she started to swing her arms before she started to put some bounce in her step. She started to shake every part of her body as she danced. Before long she was doing a full routine of dancing. She moved swiftly before she started to slow down and start singing. “It's been so long since you were here with me...Since you left me I could have set you free...It's just a game well done myself again...And finally I'm ready to go fast you see” Kita sang as she continued to dance. She loved what she was doing as she felt the cool breeze move around her. She had been working on a few new dance moves and decided to try them out with the song. “'Cause I did some good, and I did some bad, I know what we had was true” she sang out loud and strong as she continued to dance.

She stopped singing as she placed her hands together in front of her and she gazed up at the starry night and watched a shooting star. She closed her eyes as she made a wish on the shooting star. She stopped dancing as she allowed herself to fall to the ground to catch her breath. Taking in many deep breaths and letting them out slowly while she grinned. It had been a long time since she felt the need and wants to dance and sing all the way through like that. She slowly opened her eyes to look up at the sky as her mind drifted to her new family; all the vampires that was back at the haven. She knew that she wouldn’t be missed very much as she was mainly invisible to them all. She shook her mind as she sat up. She didn’t want to go off thinking about all of them. She wanted to focus on something else. Something new. She couldn’t get the beat out of her head as she continued to lightly dance as she laid back in the gra*s. She finally got her mind off the haven and the others as she got her mind onto another guy. She knew that she didn’t tell him or shown him yet that she as a vampire. She started to wonder if Magnus would start to dislike her since she was no longer human.

Magnus was on his way to the dark wood when he heard the beautiful voice of his childhood crush. He paused for a moment and mumbled to himself, “I think I should go watch for a while but stay out of sight”. He decided to hide behind a large rock that was several feet from the tree. Magnus constantly had to move around it as Kita danced swiftly about. While only thinking about not being seen he did not see the branch on the ground....CRUNCH!! Magnus stood up startled; not realizing what had happened he quickly kneeled back down to hide. “Crap I hope she didn’t hear that, or yet even worse see me”, he whispered. “She would have my head if she knew I was spying on her.” He peeked up over the rock to see if Kita had stopped what she was doing. Thinking it was safe he went back to what he was doing.

Magnus started getting lost in the moment and found himself humming along the tune. Before long he had totally forgotten that he was trying to remain unseen. Moments later he jumped out from his rock and began singing and dancing right along side Kita. It only took a moment for reality to set back in. “OH CRAP, NOW I’VE DONE IT”, shouted Magnus as he darted away from the willow tree. He ran all the way back to the Hufflepuff common room where he pondered what will happen now. Magnus may have been found out by Kita this time. He knew he had messed up bad. He knew she was a demon now and that she could kill him without even trying. He then began to wonder if he could actually go out with a vampire, if that kind of relationship was even humanly possible. Completely flustered Magnus decided to go for a walk along the shores of the Black lake.

Magnus walked about the Lake wondering the thoughts about Kita over and over. For the first time in his life he was truly at a loss and confused. He kept mumbling to himself about how much he actually wanted to be with her. He also debated if it was worth being with a demon. Magnus then looked up and said, “Hell with this I’m going to go ask her face to face”. He left the Black lake area and went back to the willow tree in hopes of confronting Kita. Once there he shouted, “KITA CAN HUMAN AND DEMON BE TOGETHER?”

Kita glanced around with her sharp hearing when she heard the branch on the ground. She smirked and giggled quietly to herself. She figured that she knew who it was, especially with the scent that she picked up. She continued to do her own thing as she slowed down her few dance steps. She figured that he must have enjoyed watching her otherwise he wouldn’t be around. She picked up a little bit of his whispering to himself. She started to find that her great hearing was coming in handy at this very moment. She knew he was shy and she did have a crush on him but she wasn’t sure if he’d ever make the move as she did pick up a few hints by his actions that he might be crushing on her too.

She continued dancing as she glanced to him when he came out and joined her. She smiled but continued to dance as she moved towards him. She jumped startled and moved back from him when he started to shout. She blinked for a moment as she watched him take off. She smiled faintly and giggled before she took a seat in the gra*s. “Silly, Magnus.” She whispered faintly as she watched him disappear. She started to debate if she should go after him or if she should just remain where she is and wait to see if he returns. She glanced up at the starry night as she started to hum. She decided to stay right where she was. She was tired of chasing after men. This time, she’d wait for him to come to her.

She picked up his scent and she could hear him walking. She smiled inwardly as she waited for him. She jumped again, started by his shouting before she glanced to him. “Well, at least you know that I’m a vampire... I was attacked and turned over the summer. As a matter of fact, yes a human and a demon can be together.” She said as she felt a little flushed though it doesn’t really show much as she does have pale skin. She got up and walked over to Magnus. She looked him over carefully for a moment before she leaned in towards him. “I am a vampire. I have great hearing, sight, and sense of smell...” she paused for a moment as if to take in a deep breath. “WHICH MEANS YOU DON’T HAVE TO SHOUT!” she shouted back at him before she smiled. She threw her arms around him; hugging him. She could feel his warmth where she had none. She took a step back from him. “It’s great to see you again Magnus... why are you asking if a human and a demon can be together?” she asked in a lower tone.

Startled by Kita’s shout Magnus jumped to his feet. “You found me out Kita”, he said shamefully. “You knew the entire time I was here didn’t you”. Magnus hung his head low and stated, “I was not sure how to ever approach you and tell you how I feel about you, I was very unsure about the whole human/demon thing.” Magnus started running circles around the willow tree to let out some of his extra energy. Once he stopped running, he went up to Kita and kissed her on the forehead. He was shocked as to how cold she was to the touch. “Ok I really know nothing about you or vampires Kita, so this might be a good time to help me out”, he said. “All I know is I have had this ma*sive crush on you for the last 4 years.”

Magnus grabbed Kita’s hand and offered a dance. Hoping she would accept the offer he asks, “Do you like me; am I wasting my time here?” He really never learned how to talk to girls so he stuttered a lot with every statement he made. But he was a really good dancer. “Kita I have liked you for a very long time, but was afraid to say or do anything about it, I hope you forgive me”, he said. “It is all the reason I ran off early when I danced along side of you. The only reason I came back is because I had enough of all this running and I had to confront you.” “I have a gift for you”, he stated as he reached into you robe. He pulled out a necklace that he had made for her as a first year. “Here this is for you”, he said while blushing profusely.

“I have so many questions for you and I am going to ask them all at once if that’s ok”, Magnus softly said with a slightly anxious tone. “First how and when did you become a vampire?” “What is it like being one?” “Do you have any abilities or other inhuman traits?” “Oh if this was done to you against your will I’ll kill the prick that did it!” he exclaimed. With that said he sat down to await her responses.

Kita smiled and giggled to herself, “Maggie, I knew about you for a while.” she said in a delicate tone as she watched him. She had the urge to lean in and kiss him on his cheek but chose against it at this point in time. “I didn’t mind your eyes on me as I danced.” She spoke softly, “I may be a vampire but that doesn’t mean that I’m not still human.” She said delicately, as she watched him run around the tree. She giggled to herself as he ran. She knew that he had a lot of energy. She blinked in surprise when he stopped to kiss her on her forehead she recovered quickly as she smiled at him. “You’ve watched me for a few years, surely you a few things about me. Plus we have spoke a few times as well.” She smiled. “I’ve been crushing on you as well.” She whispered sweetly.

She smiled as she accepted his offer and smiled, “I don’t think so, but if you think you are, then I will understand and back off.” She said trying not to show the slight hurt it was by him asking if he was wasting his time with her. She looked at him her eyes quivered as a tender smile moved over her lips. “I have liked you for a long time as well. I just wasn’t sure if you felt the same way.” She smiled as she danced with him, “You don’t need to be shy with me.” She looked at it as she took it from him and smiled. “It’s beautiful.” She said before she threw her arms around his neck. She leaned back but didn’t let him go as she kissed him on his cheek.

She blinked at all the questions before she softened, blinked a few times and started to giggle. “It’s fine that you asked them all at once. It was over the last summer that I was turned into a vampire. I was attacked by some wolves and Skylar Rycerz saved me. He told me that I couldn’t be saved as there wasn’t much blood left. He gave me the offer and I took it. I didn’t want to die. Being a vampire is actually really a lot of fun.” She said with a smile, “I have all the typical abilities any vampire would have. I do have my own ability that no other vampire has. I have the ability of light manipulation.” She explained. “I’ve also been known to have strong luring ability.” She added. “But I did choose to take this. At first it took a little time to get use to everything but otherwise, I think it’s great.”

Magnus stopped running around to tree and caught his breath. He had been going like crazy around the big tree. “How have you known about me dear Kita? We barely have even met”, he said. “And how is a vampire still human, I thought it was demon...well at least that is what was taught in mystical creatures cla*s”, Magnus questioned. Magnus continued to dance with Kita in a slow, pa*sionate way. “So what is it like being the way you are, doesn’t it suck not being able to go in the sun?” he asked. “So is it true you kill werewolves?” Magnus asked. “You know Scorpius and the rest would kill me if they saw us together, hell I think the vampires would have a field day.” Magnus said quivering.

Magnus looked at the necklace that he gave as a gift. “You know I made that as a first year hear, I had made it for you but was too afraid to approach you”, Magnus said. Magnus frowned and almost looked as to burst into tears when he saw the hint of hurt in Kitas eyes. He knew he had said something to hurt her. “Crap I screwed up again, Why can I ever have a decent conversation without making people mad” he exclaimed. “I’m sorry Kita I did not mean to upset you” he said kind of backing off, afraid she would hurt him.

“So this Skylar guy is a nice fellow then? He saved your life you say”, Magnus stated. Did he ever tell you why he chose to save your life, you know he could have just left you to the wolves”, Magnus added. “I am glad he did save you though”. Magnus continued to dance with her as he asked more questions. “Will you take me to meet this Skylar, i have a few words for him”, Magnus asked nicely. “And as for those wolves and any wolf i see they will pay with there lives for hurting you”. He boldly stated.

Kita smiled as she watched him before she walked towards him. “That doesn’t mean I didn’t notice you. I have spoke to you a few times. They never lasted long because of the family. We do tend to stick together.” She admitted. “Magnus, We keep our souls.” She explained, “Demons want and take... vampires do have control. They can say no and they can feel love.” She added. “I think you got that mixed up...” she smiled as she continued to dance with him, “Well, if you cover properly and move swiftly enough then we can dodge around the sun’s rays. It is easier when it’s clouded or raining. Otherwise, I can’t complain. We don’t get sick, I have better sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste than you do, any human for that matter. And I’m silent. I can move anywhere and I don’t make a sound. I’m fast, strong, and I’m simply remarkable without even trying.” She said with a smile. “We do once in a while.” she said, “It depends if they cross into our domain.” She smiled and giggled as she listened to him. “Scorpius is protective of us, like a big brother; which he is. He plays the role well. He wouldn’t kill us. At most he’d tell you not to hurt me. None of them would harm you unless you did something towards them first. Otherwise, they are all kind and friendly. We stick to ourselves so no one really knows what we are other than Scorpius’s friends.”

Kita smiled, “it is a beautiful gift.” She said, “You didn’t ever need to fear approaching me.” She added. She felt bad that she made him feel bad, it wasn’t her intention of making him feel bad over anything. She kissed him on his cheek, “It’s okay.” She said, “Don’t be upset... you are just trying too hard. Relax. Take in a deep breath, hold it and then slowly release it.” She added. “I’ll be fine and you don’t have to leave.” She said as she picked out that he was afraid of her. “You don’t need to fear me either.”

She nodded with a smile. “Yes, he’s amazingly nice and very sweet.” She said before she giggled, “And he has a mate so you don’t have to worry.” She added. “He told me that he saw something in my eyes. So, he saved my life and told me that the wounds I received are fatal. He told me that he could safe my life by turning me into a vampire or he could just end my life. I told him I didn’t want to die. He explained to me how risky it is for a female vampire to be turned but I took it anyway.” She explained. “I don’t regret it.” She added as she looked into his eyes. Her smile broadened as she listened to him. “thank you.” She said, “and I can introduce you to Skylar. All I have to do is call him and he will come.”

“Perhaps i had the wrong idea about vampires then” Magnus stated, “I usually skipped demonology, never found it challenging enough.” Magnus stopped dancing with Kita, he was getting a bit tired. Magnus knew the house unity dance was coming up soon, and was thinking about asking her out to it. “Your abilities seem very nice to have, but was it worth losing humanity. I do understand that if you had not changed you would have died, but now knowing that it will never happen naturally does that bother you sometimes?” Magnus began to pace back and forth trying to think of what to say next.

Magnus laid down on the ground. “The stars are pretty aren't they?” he said while guiding kita to the ground. Magnus pointed at the stars, “see there is the big dipper, and the little dipper, if you follow that one over the you will find......” Magnus paused as he saw the most beautiful sight nature could produce. “Kita you have probably seen these a lot, but i have not, i think there called the aurora borealis.” Magnus laid there for a few minute gazing at the phenomenon before it went away leaving the starlit sky in its wake. “I remember as a child laying in the fields looking at the stars for hours on end” Magnus told Kita. “You know i have books upon books of astrology stuff at the dorm, perhaps we can go through them sometime.”

“Hon you know the house unity dance is coming up soon, and i was wondering if you would like to go with me” Magnus said while slightly blushing. He then got up and ran circles around Kita because he can't believe he just asked her on a date. After a few laps he stumbled on a rock and fell flat on his face. “OUCH” he yelled in pain, who put that thing there?” he then laughed. He picked up the rock and threw it as hard as he could in the direction of the lake. “That really hurt” he stated while lifting up his pant leg, there was blood gushing out. Magnus kissed Kita on the cheek and said, “Please?!?!?!?!” with a puppy dog looking face. He reached into his pack and pulled out a bunny for Kita and a lollypop for himself.

Kita dropped her head as she mocked a sigh and shook it. “See if you didn’t skip cla*s then you’d know about all of this.” She said with a smile as she looked back up to Magnus. “Silly, Magnus.” She smiled and gave Magnus his space when he stopped dancing. She glanced at him while listening to what he had to say, “Yes.” She said, “I’m still human. I still feel. I still have my soul. The only thing is I have to drink blood in order to survive and I can’t go in sunlight.” She looked to him feeling offended but refusing to let it show. “Yeah, if I didn’t accept I would have died and that was one thing i didn’t want to do. I didn’t want to die Magnus. I wanted to live. I wanted to reach and achieve my goals in life...I just have a lot longer to work on them now. No, it doesn’t bother me at all.” She stated as she moved to sit on the ground with her knees brought into her and her arms wrapped around them. “I don’t regret my choice. There have been so many possibilities opening to me ever since I changed. I don’t see this as a curse and I know I’m not a monster. I don’t kill muggles or wizards. We don’t even kill the wildlife that we capture for blood. We take a little from them and let them go.” She explained.

She glanced to Magnus as he laid on the ground. She listened to what he had said and looked up to them. She started to wonder if he really was against her for changing but trying to hide it and possibly get over it. She did like him and the last thing she wanted to hear was that she’d be rejected now because she was a vampire. “Yes.” She spoke softly, almost like she never said anything at all. “They are very pretty.” She said before she glanced at him. She smiled as she felt a wave of peace and tranquility come over as she watched Magnus gazing at the sky. She finally looked up to the sky as she watched the breath taking event of lights dancing through the starry night. She turned back to Magnus and smiled at him. A child laying in the fields looking at the stars. she thought to herself. Thats the feeling that I got from him. The wave of peace and tranquility. her thoughts added. She felt the warmth deep within her as she knew at that very moment, if she had been a live he would have swept her breath away as she felt her heart fall just that much more in love with him. “I would love to go through the books with you. I believe I can safely a*sume then that you are in the Astrology cla*s and you are pa*sing through it with flying colors.” She said softly.

Kita smiled as she looked to him. She watched him run around her when he fell. In one swift motion she was up and kneeling at his side. She pulled out her want and aimed at the wound. “Episkey.” She whispered faintly as the wound healed. She looked up to him and smiled as she felt his kiss and the bunny. She took the bunny and held it close when she looked back to him. “Yes. Yes I would love to.” She said sweetly.

“Haha your right about that hon, i found it so boring that is why i never went to it”, Magnus said while twirling his wand around. “Actually i skip most of my cla*ses, all i do is show up for the tests and some how manage to pa*s. Mind you i do all the required a*signments, and if your wondering how, i have my cla*smates that tell me what they are.” “You know weather your a vampire or not, it still does not change the fact about how i feel about you”, Magnus blushed while taking Kita's hands. “I like you a lot Kita and with any luck i may spend the rest of my days with you” Magnus kissed Kita on the cheek. “I am so grateful Skylar saved you. You deserved to live and not succumb to those beasts, now i vow to protect you till worlds end. Is it possible for you to show me for one night what your world is like? You have opened my eyes to the being you are, and i apologize for the stereotypes i made, please forgive me.”

“Thank you very much for tending to my injury, was much better than going to the infirmary. You know someone should come around here and pick up all those rocks, someone is gonna get hurt again worse than me”, Magnus said. He stood up from his spot and started pacing back and forth as if something were bothering him. “Astronomy and astrology are fascinating to me. It is the one thing i can turn to for answers and guidance when i am lost. The stars is a form of divination as well, a person can see the future and past if they look hard enough for it. And yes darling i have taken and am currently taking every possible cla*s on astrology and astronomy that is available, and am pa*sing them with flying colours.” Magnus turned to Kita, “I can help you in those cla*ses if you wish me to.”

“I know there is that stupid rule that other houses cant enter others dorms, so if you don't mind to wait a few minutes ill go get my books from the dorm”, Magnus said kindly. “I don't know the teleport spell so i actually have to go there and levitate them to us. Actually I am really bad at remembering spells, like i pa*s the cla*s and all but when it come tiem to using them i choke up and forget them.” Magnus sat down next to Kita and took her had, “I am really looking forward to dancing with you at the ball coming up, and i do think i have fallen for you as well. Here i have another gift for you.” Magnus reached into his sack and pulled out a kitten, “here this is for you.”

Kita smiled as she listened to Magnus speak. She kissed his cheek as she listened to everything he had said. “It’s not good that you skip all your cla*ses and only do the a*signments. You should pay more attention to school and cla*ses than you’d know more about certain things and you wouldn’t be asking about it.” She stated as she nodded, “But I do appreciate that you like me no matter if I’m a vampire or not.” She added as she closed her fingers around his hand. She kissed his cheek as she did find it really sweet of him to say what he did and that he would protect her. However, she also knew that she was more than capable of protecting herself, even him since she was stronger and faster than he was right now but she wasn’t going to say anything. She wanted to let him live his glory. She smiled and nodded. “I’ll forgive you this one time, Maggie. Take you into my world? It’s no different than yours. The only different is that vampires drink blood, look pale but beautiful, naturally inviting humans close to us but we don’t drink from them. We don’t have any other differences so to take you into our world... I don’t really know what you are asking for.”

She smiled and nodded, “We are not big on infirmaries either. Anytime we get hurt more than what we can deal with on our own, we call for our sire. And if we get hurt that we can’t call our sire knows and comes looking for us.” She explained. She had a feeling that she would have to go more in depth with it but she was going to wait for the questions. She smiled, “I love looking at the sky, the stars. The trid nebula is amazing. I love looking at the shades of pink not to mention the few dark lines of the dark nebulae.” She added. She smiled, “I do agree with you they can tell so much if you just know how to read and listen.” She giggled, “Well at least there is one cla*s that you are interested enough to attend.”

She nodded, “I do believe that they have reason for that... and I do believe if you know Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy’s reputations you’d understand why.” She said with a smile. “I suppose I should take you to meet a few people and friends.” She added, “I know that Skylar is curious about you. Spells are not difficult. You just need to relax.” She smiled, “I am looking forward to the dance as well. I will have you meet most of them there. A gift?” she questioned as she looked at him in surprise. She smiled as she was handed a solid black kitting with a white spot on it’s forehead and four white paws. “Aw, It’s so cute!” she said as she took the kitten from Magnus. She cuddled it and petted it. “Everyone at the haven is going to be so happy with such a kitten around!!”

Magnus whistled for his broom so he could go get his stuff. While he waited for his arrival he continued to stare at the stars and all their beauty. “Kita all I meant by visiting your world is I wish to go to the haven to meet your family”, he said. Magnus’s broom finally arrived a few minutes later, he grabbed hold of it and took a seat. “Kita I think I am falling for you...and in more than one way”, he said as he fell off his broom at her feet. “And by that I do think I am falling in love with you, you’re all I ever wanted in life.” Magnus gave Kita a sweet kiss and flew off to the dorm. “Don’t go anywhere I’ll be right back,” he shouted.

Magnus Started off toward Hogwarts flying high in the midnight sky. He could hear the werewolves howling. He thought to himself that he should be careful being out this late at night. He thought about what Kita said about their ability to heal and how there sire can find them with ease if something happens. He thought that was absolutely fascinating. Finally arriving at his dorm he collected the books on stars, he also grabbed his text books on magical creatures hoping Kita may help him with it. As he left he mumbled to himself, “crap I forgot something”. He turned around and got his spell book to. “Wingardium Leviosar” he said and the books all started to float. “I wonder if I should grab some snacks to, might get a bit hungry out there and its cold to so a blanket is needed as well”, he said. Magnus put on his cloak and grabbed a few other items and put them in his magical pack. He had a pack that had an almost bottomless pit. Just books don’t seem to fit well it in.

Magnus Started off toward Kita again. Amongst the howling of the werewolves he could hear a quidditch team practicing. He took a little detour from Kita to go see who was practicing. As he got closer he saw that it was the slythern team out there. Magnus attempted to leave the area undetected by the others. He thought he was successful. He could see Kita waiting by the tree looking so content. Magnus heard the screech of a bludgeon wiz by his head. “Woah I think I got lucky that time”, he snickered. The bludgeon on the return though hit Magnus square in the chest. Magnus went unconscious from the blow and fell off the broom. He and his books were now tumbling to the ground from way up high in the sky, Magnus liked to fly with the moon and the stars. He hit the ground with a thud right at Kita’s feet. He lay there broken and busted up, not a sign of life in him.

Kita smiled as she listened to what he had to say. She never thought about taking him to meet her new vampire family. She did have to admit that it would have been pretty neat to introduce them all to her family. She nodded after a moment of thinking about it. “Sure, but you can’t meet everyone as father has sent some of them out on a little mission for him.” she explained. “I’m not sure about the details but I do know that they will be back and forth ever so often.” She added with a smile. “So, if you are interested in meeting my family then I would gladly take you over to the haven to meet those that are left.” She paused for a moment as she kissed him back. She knew that if she had a heart beat and a pulse she’d be blushing right about now. She felt a surge of happiness flow through her. Nodding as she watched him fly off while she waved after him.

Kita laid back as she waited for Magnus to return. She glanced over when she heard some odd sounds. She turned to look towards the pitch. ‘That’s odd. It’s very late at night for them to be practicing.’ She thought to herself as she walked towards the pitch. She watched them from afar but didn’t really pay much attention as she was more interested in star gazing. She loved looking at the bright colors throughout the darkened skies. She always found herself getting lost in them. She felt the gentle breeze pick up when she turned her attention back to the practice. She noticed Magnus and shook her head knowing that it would be nothing but disaster with him flying through that mess.

She grabbed her wand and worked quickly, “Wingardium Leviosa” she said. She missed him the first few times but eventually hit him with the spell to slow him down but it wasn’t enough to stop the force. She knew that her as a vampire, she had no real breath therefore she couldn’t do anything to help him.

“He has a faint heartbeat. I will help you get him to the hospital wing, but you are on your own from there.” Skylar said as he walked out of the trees towards her. “Oh, Skylar can’t we take him to the haven?” she questioned only to watch Skylar shake his head. “We are moving things around in the haven right now. With the others on a mission we are short handed and with those injuries he wont make it if we go to the haven.” Skylar added. Kita nodded. “Okay. We will take him to the hospital wing.” She said as she helped Skylar pick Magnus up and his belongings and took him to the hospital wing.
