Giovanni was climbing trees in the forbidden forest when the sun fell and a beauty came over the night. It wasn't a full moon and he could spend the time with Ebony Flint and maybe tonight, they could finally give themselves to the feelings. He loved her and he was sure, positive, that she felt the same as he did. The only problem is, they had history, words had been exchanged, and they weren't exactly all that close anymore. Giovanni wanted to change that, though. He was determined to change that.
He jumped out of the tree, landed hard on the ground and stood up, walking out of the forest and to the whomping willow tree. He would lay there for awhile, staring at the stars. He couldn't enjoy the beauty of night when it was a full moon because he was too busy looking for food and people to bite. Giovanni never took the beauty of night for granted and he spent practically all night out there every night. There were so many things about the sky and universe that weren't known and would probably never be known. Astronomy didn't teach you anything. That cla*s was pointless. If you wanted to learn about it, you had to do it on your own.
It was about time to summon Ebony and he had his patronus go and find her. For some reason, the patronus was faster than owls. In the time that it took him to write a letter and get it sent, he could already be spending time with her. Owls were pointless, really. Use those if the person you want isn't in the same place as you and Eb was at school. Giovanni laid back down, staring up at the sky and grinned contentedly.

Ebony was walking around the school. She hadn’t seen Giovanni in awhile. She didn’t know what was going on with them right now. She loved him, wanted to be with him, but she didn’t think that he shared the feelings. It was something that she needed to talk to him about. Anymore, she wasn’t even sure if they were still friends. He said some pretty hateful things during their last fight. She would always remember that. That would forever be the worst day of her life.
She wasn’t really heading anywhere. She could hang out in front of the entrance to the common room and wait for him. That might bring suspicion upon her though. They would wonder why a Slytherin was standing outside, if she was planning on breaking in and doing something. The only ones that would trust her are other Slytherin gang members. Ebony would do that, but she couldn’t be sure if he was in the common room or if he was somewhere else. With her luck, he wouldn’t be in the common room.
As she walked up another flight of steps, a patronus ran around her. She knew whose it was. It was Giovanni’s. He must be calling her. Ebony grinned down at the animal. “Okay, show me where he is,” she said, happily and followed the patronus. She was glad that Giovanni had contacted her. It meant that he could be willing to fix everything between them and maybe they could go out. She couldn’t help but smile as she saw him sitting by the whomping willow, a smile upon his face. “Hey, Vanni,” Ebony said, sitting down across from him. “What are you thinking about?”

Giovanni was half asleep as he waited for Ebony to show up with his patronus. Scratch that, he wasn’t half asleep. He was asleep. His eyes were closed and his breathing was slow and normal, a faint smile on his lips. His dream was of the one and only Ebony. Running in the meadow, her long brown hair flowing behind her. She was so beautiful. How could a girl like her even like a guy like him? He wasn’t handsome or remotely good looking. Worst of all, he was a wolf. Ebony could do so much better than him, but he wanted her and he was greedy. He wasn’t going to let anybody else have her.
His dream was interrupted as he heard a voice. Her voice. He sweet, loving lyrical voice. Giovanni sat up and there she was, sitting across from him. “Hi,” he greeted her back and then grinned. “I was thinking about you. All those nights lying with you in the hammock in your backyard during the summer, staring at the stars in the sky. Just thinking about how wonderful it would be if you and I could just forget about everything…” Giovanni paused as he thought about how he was going to phrase that so it didn’t sound too sexual. “…and lose ourselves in each other,” he finally finished, realizing too late that that wasn’t it.
He moved closer to her and wrapped her in his arms. “You know I love you, right?” he said, looking at her lovely face. “Love you with all of my heart and soul and being. There is no other girl that I could love more than you.” These feelings were new to him. He never thought that werewolves could feel love because they were awful creatures. Giovanni would never wish this upon her. “Ebony, would you like to go out with me? Please. I can’t live without you.”
