Cory felt abandoned. His older brother just up and went off to Italy with Phoenix. He didn't even tell Cory until after he was gone, when he wrote him a note. What kind of older brother does that? He rolled his eyes as he entered the Ministry. Why was he here? He didn't know. He was just wandering around. He wasn't going to tell his parents about Eric, not unless if he was forced to. He would deal with him when he got back. If he decided to come back.
Now, that he thought about it, his brother may not ever come back. He and Phoenix may have left forever. He was going to be all alone. He would have to tell his father. Only he could force Eric to come back. Then again, he was an adult. He may have school to finish, but did that really matter? Well, Cory decided, that if his brother could drop out then so could he. There was no reason for him to be in school if his brother dropped out. He liked that idea. He was going to tell his father that when he ran into him.
He took a lift to another floor, on which he ran into a man that greeted him. Of course, he would be known. He looked like his dad. He answered a few questions and went on his way. No doubt, that guy would tell his father that he was here. Not that it mattered. Cory technically wasn't skipping school. It was over for the day, so he couldn't be yelled at. He stopped walking for a few minutes, suddenly wondering if there was someplace that he could get something to eat here.
Cory saw someone else that worked there and asked her, but recieved no answer. The lady just went on her way. He walked again, going back to the lifts. He had to find a cafetaria or something.
