He wasn’t used to plane rides one bit. It was so long, just sitting there. Eric seemed to sleep most of the way and not much was said. He also seemed so calm, like he was used to it, but with how long the have known each other, it didn’t seem possible that he would be used to it. Phoenix couldn’t remember him ever going on a trip. That wasn’t to say that he didn’t go before meeting him. Eric was from a normal family, one that was full of love for all their kids. It wasn’t like his, that, even if they took a vacation, they would’ve left him behind.
He tried a few times to go to sleep, but he couldn’t get comfortable. The attendants were also becoming annoying. They kept coming up to him, seeing if he needed anything. Phoenix just kept saying no. As everybody else on the plane seemed to sleep, he would sit there, wondering if this was a bad idea. He would really dread the plane ride coming back. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be so bad, but he was sure that it would be just as bad, if not worse. The seats were in threes. He and Eric were sitting next to each other, of course, but Eric was at the window and Phoenix was in the middle, right next to an elderly muggle woman that sparked up a conversation with him about her grandkids, who she was visiting. She showed him a few pictures of them and he wished his family was as loving as everyone else seemed to be.
The plane then came to a landing at the airport and he was able to leave. He followed Eric to the luggage claim, where they got his luggage and then they went out. Phoenix had to get to a hotel. He needed to sleep and then they would have to get something to eat. He was actually feeling a little sick. Probably jetlag or it could be something else. He wasn’t really sure if jetlag would really apply here. A taxi picked them up and brought them to a hotel. They didn’t have to pay for the taxi or the hotel. The nice muggle woman he met on the plane decided to treat the boys. She was well endowed. She shared a cab with them and paid for that and she paid for the boys to stay in a suite. Phoenix thanked her, she said that it was nothing, and left for her room.
Their hotel room was very bit and spacious. Nice furnishings, and a queen sized bed. That lady must’ve realized that the two were dating. Phoenix collapsed on the bed and closed his eyes. He got comfortable really quickly and was asleep in no time.
