It sucked not being able to patrol. It was about midnight. At that time, he would just be coming back from patrolling. He’d been sitting there all night, trying to come up with something to do. The only problem was, there was nothing. He didn’t want to sleep and he knew that he wouldn’t be able to sleep anyways. Albus had just eaten a whole bunch of candy. He was surprised that he was able to sit still now. The patrolling helped him ease off some of that energy. How was he caught?
He thought that he did everything right. He didn’t leave behind evidence that he did it and when he was questioned, he denied it. He didn’t give up his accomplices either. Maybe Longbottom didn’t know that he did it. In that case, he was being punished for something that he didn’t do. Albus was going to get Longbottom back for doing this. Blaming the redecoration on him wasn’t fair if he didn’t know for a fact that he did it and most of it he didn’t do. Isaac Longbottom was the artist. He was the only one that could make the snake in the shape of an S. Not like any would believe that Isaac did it, as he was a Hufflepuff.
He jumped to his feet as the candy began taking effect and paced around, cursing Longbottom under his breath. Any Slytherin could have done it. Why did his mind automatically think of him? Plus, it didn’t have to be Slytherins. It could’ve been one from a different house that wanted to be in Slytherin that did it. Isaac proved that. Albus shook his head, wondering if he could get Lamia Pucey in trouble for it. That probably wouldn’t work. Pucey was a Slytherin that wished he wasn’t a Slytherin. He was perhaps the only Slytherin that wished he wasn’t one. Albus was stuck with this punishment.
It was only two weeks, but that seemed like a lifetime when you had nothing better to do. It was a good thing he hadn’t taken the badge away all together. Then he would’ve fought him. “I hate Longbottom!” he shouted, throwing a ball at the wall. “Longbottom is dead.” Albus threw the ball again, still cursing Longbottom. “It isn’t fair. There’s no proof I did anything.” When he realized that he was talking to himself, he caught the ball on fire and said, loudly, “I’m going crazy because of him!”

Shayleigh was getting tired and it was nearly midnight. She was on Prefect Patrol with an idiotic boring Ravenclaw who was no fun and kept telling her the history of Hogwarts and History of Magic which made her want to go to sleep right there and then. With her long brown hair pulled back into a ponytail she walked along him yawning the night away. No student was out that night which made it worst. She had hoped that some one would be caught out of bed so the kid could shut up for a moment. "Well you just shut up?" she asked the kid in an irritated voice just as a Professor came up to them. "Okay you two can go off to bed now. It's midnight and we'll take it from here!" Professor Scotts told them.
"Thank you!" she said with a greatful smile on her face and ran down a set of stairs before the Ravenclaw could catch up to her. Walking back down she was thinking of Severus for a moment. She sure wished he hadn't been suspended from Patroling he would have made it more fun for her and he wouldn't have been talking about History of Magic in the first place. History of Magic made her sleepy and crazy. She couldn't handle that cla*s yet alone hearing about it. It drove her crazy most of the time.
Walking into the Slytherin Common Room she heard Severus and was just in time to see him catch the ball on fire. "Then do something about it Sevvie." she said with a smile on her face as she took her brown hair out of her ponytail and shook her head and let the hair go loose. "I so wished you patrolled with me. I got stuck with a Ravenclaw that would not stop talking about the History of Hogwarts and the History of Magic." she said as she sat down on a couch and just wanted to relax but she also had a feeling that was going to be impossible. Especially if he did came up with an idea for Longbottom right at that moment.

[/b] He wished his friend sit down on the couch and he jumped up on a table and stood there in the center, looking down at her. Any thought he had about getting a book and reading was gone. Albus was now going to keep her up until he was ready to go to bed. She complained about her night and he smiled and shook his head. “Then do something about it,” he threw her words back at her. “Tell Longbottom that you will not patrol with anyone but me. You will not have to worry about getting a Ravenclaw who’s obsessed with History of Magic. That’s what I did. The only patrol partner that I get is you.”[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/ul]

Shayleigh had to laugh at that. It was true for sure. Longbottom wasn't afraid of him. "I wonder why Sevvie." she said with a smile on her face. She really did wonder why she wondered he wasn't afraid of her best friend. She knew if she was Longbottom she would and that's a fact. She looked at him for a moment with a smile. She wondered what he had been up to the whole time she was gone.
She had to smile for a moment. "I think I will. But first I have to find the p brain to do something about it. I want to attack that kid." she said for a moment. "Or at least do something to his history books where all the words are all messed up." she said for a moment. She would be glad if that happened. "Or make him silent for a week. That would be cool. What do you think?" she asked him for a moment.
She looked at him for a moment. "That's an idea. I think I'll do just that." she said for a moment with a smile on her face. "I hope you get back to Prefects duties soon becuase they are boring without you!" she said with a small smile. She hadn't even realized that he had jumped onto the table. Until she looked up a bit. "What are you doing on a table?" she asked him for a moment. "Hoping to be taller are you?" she asked him with a small smile on her face as she sat down on the couch.

Albus wondered that, too. He had been terrible to that guy for six years and he wasn't afraid of him. If all that he'd done to the guy didn't scare him, then nothing would. As he thought about it, he realized that maybe it had to do with Potter. Perhaps, his alleged father told him lies about him, said that Albus was all talk. "My alleged father thinks I'm all talk. Maybe he told Longbottom that. I think we need to show him and Potter that I am not all talk."
He listened to her talk about getting revenge on the kid. There were a million things that he could do to him and they didn't have to choose just one. They could do them all. Instead of a week, though, maybe a month with no talking. That would probably kill the kid. Albus knew that it would bug him if he couldn't talk for a month. "I like all those ideas," he said, "but why choose just one? We could do all of it to the kid. But we change the week without talking to a month. That would kill anyone and it would teach him not to annoy you again."
Albus began marching in place as she spoke about how duties were boring without him. "I think it's two weeks and it's boring not having the duties. There's nothing for me to do, but sleep. I don't sleep. My ADHD doesn't let me." He jumped off the table and hit his head on another one and he landed on the floor. "Ow," he said, lying there for a moment. Then he jumped back up and pulled Shayliegh up. "Dance with me to the music in my head. If Lorcan catches us, we'll tell him that you like me more." Albus laughed, knowing that he would never do that. Even if he did like Shay that way, he couldn't compete with Lorcan. He laughed like a maniac as he danced like one.

Shay watched him for a moment and smiled a bit. She liked it when he was thinking. He actually looked smart. “Oh really?” she asked him for a moment. “He obviously doesn’t know who you are then. What does your older brother thinks about you?” she asked him for a moment. “James isn’t that his name?” she asked him. She doesn’t talk to him much. In fact she hardly pays attention to him. She wouldn’t give him dirty looks but just nod her head when he tries to say hi but other than that she doesn’t say a word to him. “I hear that Scor is making Dannie attack your brother to prove to everyone that she belongs to the Gang.” she said for a moment and wondered if Sevvie had heard of that. “And what do you have in plan to show them that you aren’t all talk?” she asked him.
Shay looked at him when he said he liked all those ideas. “Well then lets do all of them. And I like that idea. No talking for a month. And hope so otherwise we will not hear the end of it.” she said for a moment. She looked at him for a moment. “Got any other ideas that we could do to this Ravenclaw Prefect?” he asked him for a moment.
She had to smile when she saw him march in place on the table as he spoke. He always gave her a good laugh. And a lot of people actually thought they would make a cute couple. She didn’t see him other than like a brother. She felt like they had a lot to lose if they had went together. She was glad that she was with Lorcan. She cringed when he had jumped off the table and hit his head on another one. She wanted to run to his side and when she had thought about he got back up and pulled her up to her feet. “Okay but I don’t think he would like that.” she said as started to dance only to stop to laugh a bit when he started dancing like a maniac and then just started dancing like crazy!

"Yeah, really," he said in a bored voice. He wasn't really bored. He just liked the way he sounded when he talked like that. Albus already knew that his father didn't know him very well. It was a little sad that someone who's only known him for a few years know more about him than someone who's known him for sixteen years. "It's a little sad that you know more about me than my own father." Albus shook his head. "I don't know what James thinks, not that it matters. It doesn't matter to me what people think about me." No, he hadn't heard about that. Of course, if she hurts James, then he'd have no choice but to go after her. He would always stick up for his family, no matter if he likes them or not. He still sticks up for his father. "Interesting... and I don't know what I'll do. I'll come up with something and you can help me."
He laughed, imagining the kid going insane from not being able to talk about history of magic for a month. Maybe two months would be better? Or better yet, a whole school year. Albus laughed at the idea, but decided that that might be a little too harsh. A month with no talking would teach him his lesson. "If a month doesn't teach him his lesson, then we'll shut him up for two months and if that doesn't work, a whole school year. Give people here some peace. They'll probably love us." Albus had a mental image of him and Shay being put up on thier shoulders, singing he's a jolly good fellow. That made him laugh so hard, he nearly lost his balance. "The things that happen in my head," he said, with a slight head shake. "They really are amusing." Good thing nobody could see inside his head. It would just freak them out, he was sure of it. Albus didn't think that he was completely sane. "No more ideas yet, but I'm sure we'll come up with something. We're the best troublemakers in this school!"
He didn't care if Lorcan would like it much. Anybody would know that he and Shay acted more like siblings than a couple. Besides, wasn't it already common knowledge that he was dating Annabella? "I don't care if he doesn't like it. I think it's already common knowledge that I'm dating Bella Bletchley. And going out with you would be gross... no offense. It would be like dating my sister."
