Tiny men that look like little Luke Malfoy could overpower them were at the gates instantly. They knew him, but that didn’t mean that they had to let him in. Patrick wasn’t home and neither was anyone else. They were just doing their job. However, Patrick said that he could have the run of this place and when Albus mentioned James, the vampire agreed that he could come in, too, as long as the house didn’t get destroyed in a fight and precious bug collection remained intact. He laughed and agreed, hoping that it didn’t get that far. He just wanted a better relationship with James. That’s what this meeting was all about. James was his only brother. It was time they made a truce and got along somewhat. After all, Parvati didn’t hate him.
Albus patted Prongs’ head and told them that he was there because Patrick said he had the run of the house and he mentioned that another one was going to be there, an older guy that looked kind of like him. He and James both got looks from their father. He may have gotten more of the Potter looks, but he and James did look alike. They nodded and finally let him through. No doubt, they contacted Patrick and asked him. His first action was to go into their kitchen and get Prongs some water. The long walk from the Malfoy Manor did him in.
In the kitchen, he got a dish of water and set it in front of the dog. He loved the dog. He was so cute. Leaving him behind when he was forced to leave his father’s house hurt him, but thanks to Callie, he got his dog back, even though his dad believed that he was the family dog. Albus knew better. Prongs was his and he liked him better than the other members of the family. He knew that for a fact. After getting the dog settled, he began looking for food himself. He knew that Patrick kept some because, even though they didn’t eat it, they had humans here often and kept it for them, as long as they made their own. He made himself a ham and cheese sandwich and heated it until the cheese was melted and then went looking for the family room that everyone was allowed in.
There were so many private rooms, but those should be easy to find. They were marked on the doors. The only problem was that Patrick’s office, the bug collection room, the ma*sage room and the hair/nail salon weren’t marked. Albus decided to look outside as he walked. If he found the hot tub, he was right there. The family room was very close to it. He saw the hot tub and there was a small hall with a door off it. He walked through that door and he was in the room. He decided to keep it open for Prongs and settled on one of the huge leather couches and turned the TV on. Only house in the wizarding world that he knew of to have electricity to watch TV. Albus loved it.
He flipped through the channels and found one about magic and wizards and kept it on. It should be pretty funny. Muggles had a different view of what they were like. It might just be stupid, but he didn’t know much about it. He ate his sandwich, watched tv and waited to see if James would show up.

James Potter sat at home pretty bored. He had no idea that his brother wanted to talk to him at he present moment. He had always wanted a better relationship with him and he knew it too. He was actually lying down on his bed thinking about other things. He was quite bored in fact that he fell asleep. He was thinking about his brother and about Parvati. He couldn't stop thinking about them both. He would even consider joining the Gang if it meant a better relationship with his little brother. He was torn that his father disowned him. Sitting up when he thought he felt an letter fall on his face. He quickly looked around and realized that there was a letter on his lap. He couldn't believe though that someone would send him an owl. Scorpius and him talked pretty much. He shrugged and opened the letter. It was from his brother and he read it. Well if he went maybe they could patch things up. He knew that his father didn't mean to hit him. But he also didn't like it much. He let out a smile when he remembered when they were playing cops and robbers. Changing his clothes into a awesome outfit. He looked into his mirror and realized it was a good outfit to wear not that he really cares how he dresses. Leaving his house he went off to find the Devol Spa. Which wasn't very hard to find. On the way there he thought about a lot ot things they argued about. He would do anything to be there for his brother. He had heard of the break up between him and Callie. But he was amazed that he took a third year to the Dance. He was happy that he went though. And with Annabella as well. She was a pretty girl but not as pretty as Parvati in his eyes. He walked up to the door and rang the bell. As he waited for the door he thought about what he was going to say to his dear brother of his.

Albus wasn’t expecting a knock. He thought that he had told his brother to come right in? Waiting for James to show up in the living room or somewhere around the house, he stayed on the couch and actually dozed a bit. The couches were so comfortable. How many times had he fallen asleep on this couch? Those times though, he hadn’t been eating or expecting someone. Patrick might be mad if he found out that Albus was eating in his house. That wasn’t allowed. Food was to be eaten in the kitchen, nowhere else. And nobody was above that rule.
When he heard the knock, he jumped up and the sandwich fell to the floor and the plate broke. He cursed loudly and wondered if Patrick heard him. The vampire wasn’t too far from his home and their hearing was about ten-twenty times better than the average bloodhound. Yeah, most likely he heard him and he wouldn’t be able to hide it from him in the first place. Albus was about to take his wand out when he remembered the knock and then decided to make James clean it up. After all, James was seventeen. He could do magic outside of school.
He ran through the house and to the door, where Prongs was standing, barking. He opened the door and stood back for James to come in. “Make sure to shut the door behind you. Got your wand? I can’t use magic outside of school, so you have to fix something. Any trouble getting in?” Albus paused for breath and then said, “There was no reason to knock. Patrick said you were allowed here. And he’s not home anyways. We have the house to ourselves.”
He stopped and looked around. He was lost again. “Patrick gave me the tour of the house and I’m lost again.” He started walking again and found his way to the kitchen and then did the same thing he did last time and looked outside for the hot tub. Finally, he found it and went back into the living. “The mess is there. You startled me and I dropped my plate. Patrick might get mad if he knows I was eating in the living room.” Albus sat back on the couch and turned the TV off. “You know why you are here right? Parvati wants us to make up. You’re the only brother I have. I won’t quit the gang, but there’s no reason why we have to hate each other.”

James saw the door opening and saw his brother and then walked in and shut the door. "I always have my wand. You never know when you may need it." he said with a smile on his face. "No trouble at all." he said with a smile. "Sorry out of habit." he said with a small smile on his face. "So this is where you are staying now huh?" he asked his brother. He didn't seemed to be living at home anymore. "You know I'm thinking about getting a pad of my own." he said with a smile as he followed his younger brother.
"You get lost easily." he pointed out a bit. For some reason no matter what arguments he has with his younger brother he can't stay mad at him for long. "You made a mess huh?" he said with a smile. "Sorry about that." he said as he took out his wand. "Repairo!" he said pointing to the plate. He then looked around for some paper towels. "Accio paper towels." he said and a couple of minutes later some paper towels came around the corner. He grabbed a hold of them and cleaned it up the muggle way. "Even though I'm old enough to use magic I don't always use magic." he said with a smile.
He looked at his brother for a moment. "I have a feeling it's about our arguments." he said for a moment. "Albus you ought to know I can never stay mad at you. You are my little brother and I'll always have your back. When you told me that dad slapped you I've told him off about it. I didn't like to hear that dad had done that but it wasn't right of him. And I told him that I'm not mad at him but what he did was not right and that I was disappointed in him. I think that hurt him a bit." he said with a small frown. "To hear that his oldest is disappointed in him. But you are my brother and I would like a better relationship with you. And I had never hated you. I just didn't like what you do half the time." he said with a smile.

"No, I don't stay here," he said. A few times he had and he knew that there would always be a home for him here, even if it was with a bunch of vampires. Albus didn't mind that though. He wasn't worried, they didn't drink from humans. Too bad he couldn't become one though. "I stay with the Malfoys. When Callie and I broke up, I stayed between here and Percy's, but not anymore. Oh, really? Going to invite Ms Page to live with you?" Albus questioned, probably already knowing the answer.
"I don't get lost at Hogwarts," he said, smugly, laughing a bit. He remembered his first year at that castle. He couldn't find anything in that building. That was how he felt at this place, trying to find his way around. He was going to have to get Patrick to give him the grand tour again. Albus collapsed on the couch and watched him clean it up. "Then you're just wasting time. Using magic is so much easier."
He decided to tell his brother the truth. The doubts that he's been having lately. He's just not sure if he wants to be in the gang or if he was just in it to prove different from his father. Things were confusing right now and he may just quit the gang, even if it meant certain death. "James, there's something else. I know I said that I'd never quit the gang, but... I don't know if that's exactly true." Albus sighed and looked away. "I have doubts if it's something that I really want to be in. I think I may have only joined it to prove myself different from dad. I know it means death, but maybe it's a good thing. Might be better than supporting a group that I don't believe in."
