::Scorpius:: Sitting in the park

Shayleigh sent an owl letting Scorpius know right where she will be at. She hoped that he wouldn't be too long. She took the Knight Bus to the Leaky Cauldron and then walked onwards to her favorite park. The place she liked the most. It was a quite place and a place she liked to sit at the most. She also knew that she couldn't or at least didn't want to lose Lorcan and she wanted to know if his brother was right about him liking her and wanting to hit on her. She hoped it wasn't true.

She had decided to wear a jeans and green baby doll top. She loved it so much. Her dark brown hair was pulled into curls at the tips of her hair and left down. She thought that it looked pretty and looked wonderful. She was going to ask him a few questions and a lot of things were going through her head. She even thought about quitting the Gang. Which she didn't really want to do in the first place but if she had too then she would. She was and still is completely happy with Lorcan.

Sitting on the gra*s part of the place she pulled her knees towards her and rested her head on her hands and sat there in thought. As she thought she hadn't even realized that she started crying. She had began to think that she was losing Lorcan over Albus and Scorpius. She knows though that she has to fight to get what she wants or in this case needs. She needed Lorcan. He was her life so it seems. She needed him in her life. He was part of the reason she was so happy lately. She didn't have to pretend who she was around him. He seemed to have noticed that she has a nice side to her.

She started shaking and she hadn't even realized that. She wasn't even cold. She just felt like something was going to have to change and it was going to have to be her who has to change and she knew it. She was scared what Scorpius would say or do. She hated disappointing him. She looked up to him. She trusted him. Or at least she thought she could trust him. She has always known though that he wasn't a soft guy. He just trusted Dannie and respected that and had always treated Dannie with respect.

Scorpius was slightly surprised that Shay wanted to meet in the park in muggle London. He shrugged it off as he didn’t really care. He didn’t mind the muggle world but he wouldn’t openly admit that as he quickly made his way out there. He kept the note with him so he knew where he was going since he had a lot on his mind and he didn’t want Shay to think that he stood her up. He was also making a note that he’d have to catch up with Lorcan at some point to have a little talk with the boy.

He found his way through London with ease as he noticed her curled up on the bench. He stopped at watched her from a distance for a moment. He started to wonder what could have possibly happened that she’s all curled up like that. He glanced around before he found a vendor. He walked over and bought her favourite Popsicle and then walked over to her. He took a seat beside her and put an arm around her pulling her into him. He knew that it was a nice day and she didn’t say that she was sick. He then presented the Popsicle and a tissue to her.

He never found her like this very often he started to wonder if something happened between her and Lorcan. “What’s got you so worked up?” he asked her. He glanced around the park and he did have to admit it was a nice little park. He’d have to remember it so he could bring Luke next time he came all the way out here. He looked back to Shay, “Did something happen between you and Lorcan?” he questioned. He wondered if he’d have to go have a talk with her new boy sooner than he had originally thought.

Scorpius sat there thinking about a lot of things. Was Lorcan really worth all of these tears? Was he even being fair to her for asking her that? Couldn't she have a few friends that are guys that are really close besides him? She sure thought that she could have more than one best friend. Scorpius is her best friend and so is Albus. Lorcan shouldn't have anything to worry about. She loved him and she knew it. She wasn't sure how this came upon anyways.

She looked up when she felt someone holding her and saw that it was Scorpius. She buried her face into his chest. She ignored the popsicile and just needed to let it all lose and let the tears fall down her cheeks. She wasn't really that hungry for anything at the moment. She did however took the tissue and just held it. After a few minutes she stopped sobbing and tried to dry her eyes. "I'm done crying. I don't want to cry anymore!" she said as she tried to get deep breaths to stop herself from crying any more.

"It's Lorcan. He seems to be jealous." she said as calmly as she could muster. "He asked me if I really do love him." she said with a frown. "He saw that Albus and I were dancing around goofing off." she told him as she sniffled a bit. "And he told me that you had a crush on me and was going to try to hit on me or something!" she said for a moment. "I feel like that he doesn't trust me anymore. That he doesn't want to be with me because of that." she said as she looked at the popcicle. "And I don't really want to eat that. I'm sorry!" she said with a frown.

Scorpius looked at her as she turned into him and buried her face in him as she cried. He started to really wonder what had happened that this was happening. He picked up on the fact that she didn’t want the popsicle. He decided that he should have went with ice cream and probably chocolate instead. He glanced over and tossed the popsicle into the trash before he turned back to her. He held her close as she continued to cry and didn’t lose his grip until he felt her move. Even though she said she was done crying, he wasn’t about to let her go just yet but he did completely loosen his grip on her. He was about to ask her where all the tears came from when he decided that she’d tell him when she’s ready and she could catch her breath.

’Lorcan? I figured he did something to her to make her cry like this.’ he thought to himself as she started calmly. He remained silent as he listened to what she had to say about the situation. “That’s nothing new with the two of you.” He stated in a calm but casual tone. He didn’t see anything wrong with what those two were doing. He was there and he didn’t see a problem with it. He smirked and did his best to hold in his laugh when she mentioned about him having a crush on her. “Don’t worry about the popsicle. It’s a warm day you seemed upset so I figured..” he trailed off and shrugged. “It’s not a big deal. Next time, I’ll make sure it’s ice cream.” He smirked. He knew that he’d have to handle this situation delicately so he didn’t lose a gang member or a friend.

“Albus and you are close friends. It’s what the two of you do. Albus wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize what the two of you have. Not to mention, I think he has his eyes set on Annabella.” He stated as he gave her a slight squeeze of a hug, “Second, Where the hell did he get such a crazy idea about me?” he questioned, “Shay, you know you’re special and that I love you, but that’s a loose term. I couldn’t ever date you or hit on you.” He added, “Yes, you are very attractive and yes I did have the thought of asking you out in the long distant past, even being a thief and stealing a kiss from you. But again that was a very long time ago. You’re like a sister and you’re not my dating type.” He stated. “Now I was talking to Eddie and he gave me the idea to see what Lorcan is made of if he was challenged for you. But it would be strictly professional.” He placed a kiss of friendship on her head as he held her close while handing her another tissue, “but I can see now that a challenge would be the wrong thing to do and instead, I’ll approach him for a little talk. I’m protective of you Shay, not in love with you.”
