Percy sat in the living room, his feet kicked up on the coffee table. It was Saturday afternoon and he was waiting for his cousin, Eddie, to show up. He had asked Eddie over to see if he wanted to become a death eater, just like Sev was made one last year. He didn’t care about ages, as long as they were loyal. If they proved not to be all he had to do was kill them. It was also their choice to make. Nobody was forced to join him if they don’t want to. He would give Eddie the choice and the decision was his. If he wanted to wait till he was older, that’s fine. The choice would always be open to him as long as he remained loyal to the dark arts and Percy had a feeling that he would. He was best friends with Severus after all and Sev would always be loyal.
Another thing Percy wanted to talk to him about was Jedrek. The guy had stirred up quite a bit last year with his anti-war stuff. He had never hurt the kid, but he had wanted to. He was sure that a lot of people wanted to, though. He had gotten on the nerves of a lot of people. The guy was loyal with everything that he did and Percy wanted his loyalty and perseverance in the death eaters. He wanted to see if Eddie could coerce him to join them. If Jed could be coerced, then so could Bella Finnigan and maybe even Poppy Finnigan. From there, they might be able to get their friends to join, who would get their friends in. The whole Wizarding world would be on their side or they would be dead. He loved the way that he thought.
After a few minutes, he got up and went down the bar that meetings were held sometimes. They weren’t always here, as he didn’t need a lot of people knowing where he lived. To keep the secret, only the more loyal ones could come here and walk up to the door. The ones that he was unsure of would find a portkey down the block, which would take them right to the bar. They never saw the outside of the house. For this little meeting, he would let Eddie walk up to the door. Percy trusted him. He wiped down the bar and set up three gla*ses, two were filled with firewhiskey and one was filled with butterbeer. It would be up to Eddie which one he wanted. His being underage didn’t matter to him. He drank when he was Eddie’s age.
Thinking that Eddie probably wouldn’t know where to go to find him, Percy ran upstairs and left a note on the door, telling him to go down to the bar. He went back downstairs and sat down in a bar stool. The stools were rather comfortable. They all had padding on them, as he hated hard chairs. They weren’t comfortable enough for him and he loved his comfort. Percy grabbed a gla*s with firewhiskey in it and took a sip. It had to be close to three o’clock. He wondered where Eddie was.

Eddie was a bit nervous. He had spoken to Severus about the meeting and knew that he would probably be okay with it. He was never as nervous as he was now and he knew it. He's had asked out one girl before and he is going to ask another girl out soon. Will at least to the dance and hopefully to be his girlfriend but this was another whole different story. Or at least he thought of it that way.
He had asked Sevvie why Percy would want to see him out of all people. Sevvie of course just laughed a bit and told him he had nothing to fear and to stop being a ninny. Looking at the clock he realized it was twelve. He decided to go ahead and start heading over in that direction just in case he got lost. He said good-bye to his best friend and headed out to the Wizarding world. He couldn't believe he was doing this and he could feel his heart beating no wait pounding against his chest.
He walked one neighborhood after neigborhood asking which way was it to the Weasley Home. Some pointed it to the way he had just came from and some pointed to another direction. It had been two hours that he been lost in that neighborhood. He finally stopped at one house who knew the right direction. It took him a half an hour to get to the right house. "Finally!" he said as he walked up to the doorway.
When he stepped up to the door he saw a note. He thought for a moment. And looked at two doors. One on his left and one on his right. He looked at the left door and thought that maybe the one and the one on the right look like it could be the one. Scratching his head he finally decided on the right door and found a set of stairs. He walked down them and saw Percy setting on a stool.
Eddie walked up to the bar and sat down on a chair near by him. Not to close but close enough. Heart still pounding he saw two gla*ses on the table. One was filled with Firewhisky while the other was Pumpkin Juice. He pushed the pumpkin juice a way as he thought of it as a kid drink and he felt like he was no kid at all. Taking a sip of Firewhisky brought back a memory of Sevvie and his exe goofing off while drunk. He looked at Percy for a moment. "I think I'm five minutes early!" he said with a small smile.

Percy looked up and saw his cousin coming in. He, for one, was glad that Eddie and Jed didn’t look anything alike and he was kind of hoping that his twins were fraternal. He could just picture getting them backwards. That was why he hoped it was one girl and one boy. Gender doesn’t really matter to him, though. He’d be happy with whatever they had. He wouldn’t even care if they weren’t evil. Though he prayed that they were. This generation was a bit screwed up and he hoped that his children’s generation wasn’t. He didn’t want his kids second guessing what they believe in, as so many people were doing these days. That’s why he kept a low profile. Too many people second-guessing, he didn’t know who to trust. It may even be a mistake to trust Eddie, but if Eddie betrayed him, he’ll always kill him.
He smirked as Eddie pushed the butterbeer away and went for the whiskey. He had a mental picture of himself at that age. He did the very same thing. Actually, he’d been doing that for ages, since he was… maybe eleven. Percy remembered that he used to change pour his juice on the floor of the hall, summon firewhiskey and then pour some in the goblet. Even so young, he was terrible. “You remind me of me at your age. Screw butterbeer, go for the whiskey. Now it seems to be all I drink, but that may have to end. I don’t need the twins smelling whiskey on me everytime I pick them up.” They weren’t going to be born for awhile, though. Annie was only two-three months along. Percy could keep the drinking up for a few more months.
“Onto to business I guess. Jedrek is only one topic. I need to know where his loyalties lay. The anti-war coalition was banned, but he hasn’t joined one of the other sides. Have you tried to convince him to join the gang? Even Isabella because I know he’d do anything that she does. Any luck with them?” Jedrek was a stubborn one. Percy knew that it wouldn’t be easy to get him to join the gang, but he liked the kid and didn’t want to kill him if it came to that. “I like him, so I’d really hate to have to kill him. I really need him.”
He wondered if he had confused Eddie yet with how he was talking. Well, if he did, he wouldn’t be confused for long. Percy was going to tell him. “I just thought of that as I was waiting for you. The reason I asked you hear was to see if you wanted to become a death eater. Sev is the youngest person ever to become a death eater. He became one last year, by Rancer. With Rancer gone, and me the new dark lord, the choice falls to me who to accept. I want you as a death eater, but it’s entirely up to you. I will not force you.” Percy stood up and went behind the bar for another firewhiskey. He also dumped the butterbeer and rinsed out the gla*s. “You don’t have to make the decision right now. You are free to leave and come back when you’ve made your decision. Just remember, you tell anyone besides Severus this, I will have to kill you. You also can not contact with through owl post with this. You’ll have to come back to the house.”

Eddie looked at Percy when he said that. "I do?" he asked him with a small smile. "Well I've been drinking ever since Sevvie was." he said with a smile on his face. He was sure on that one. He wondered though where this conservation was going and he was waiting impatiently. He hoped well part of him wanted to be just like Sev and Sev knew that. And he looked at Percy for a moment with his heart still pounding against his chest He finished the gla*s of Whisky. "Another one please if you don't mind?" he asked a bit politely which was a nice thing but it may not be right at the same time but none the less he respected the man enough to say please!
His eyes did a double take for a moment. "Um no I haven't. It hadn't even accord to my mind but I will talk to him or at least Isabella." he said with a smile on his face. "If you haven't heard yet we got the youngest Wood to join the Gang. All Scorpius's doing but we got her and actually a lot of people wonder about her. I myself doubt she joined for many of us. Sometimes I wonder though if she's trying to get information for the DA or trying to change Scor to their side. Part of me also thinks she may have joined because of her big brother Cruento Wood who we all call Crew!" he said with a small frown. "And you have my word I'll try to get Jedrek to join as well as Isabella!" he told him with a trust worthy smile that he gave to all adults.
"Sevvie's a Death Eater?" he asked him with a smile. "I didn't know that!" he said with a small smile. "Always one step ahead of me that one isn't he?" he said with a small frown. He then listened to what else he Percy was telling him. He looked at him wide eyed and smiled a bit. "Well that is a lot to consider and well I think I may just sit here and think." he said as he watched Percy go behind the bar and dump out the pumpkin juice and rinsed out the cup. Eddie gulped as he heard him kill him from Percy. "Right only Sevvie." he said with a smile on his face. "I usually tell him everything. And usually him unless I'm really bummed out and then I tell Scor. But this one would probably get Sevvie out of bed in no time!" he said with a smile. He sat there for a few minutes. He spun the stool around in a slow circle. He tapped his fingers on the counter thinking. He wished he had a pencil to bite on but there was none. He looked at Percy for a moment. And then thought of all the good things that he and Sev had done in the past. He joined the Gang when he did. In fact they even took a family portrait together only because the photographer thought they were the twins. "You got me!" he said with a smile on his face. "I am willing to become a death eater. There are too many good times I have had with Sevvie to not become a Death Eater!" he said with a smile. "And as a Death Eater I'll try to get Jedrek and Isabella to join. I can't promise you that but all I can do is try!" he said with a smile.

“Yes. The rebellion, the drinking… I must’ve been such a big impact on you guys. But don’t go trying to be like other people. Like I tell Sev, you have to be yourself.” Percy filled him another gla*s and pa*sed it over to him. He had nothing against giving a child alcohol, as long as they didn’t get drunk. “You better have a high tolerance for alcohol. Don’t go getting drunk. I don’t want the school getting on me about that.”
He wondered about everyone that joined the Army and then they’re suddenly in the gang. It had nothing to do with the family. He just didn’t like the fact that she had once been loyal to the army. Maybe he should have a talk with her. “I don’t trust her. I can’t trust anyone that once vowed loyalty to the army. She could be working for them. Maybe she’s trying to get Crew and Scor, along with others, to join the Army. I won’t interfere too much, since Scorpius trusts her, but I would like to have a talk with her.” Percy stared in front of him. He wasn’t seeing anything in the room. He was off in his own little world. “Perhaps…” He shook his head and came back down to earth. “Sorry about that. Zoned out.”
“He begged to be one. At least that’s what I heard.” He’d been told about that day when he ran away from home. He bounced up and down, apparently on a sugar rush and begged to become one. Percy watched his cousin, waiting patiently for an answer. He took out his wand and began twirling it around between his thumb and forefinger. When Eddie said that he’d become one, he smiled, walked around the bar and stood next to him. “I need you to sit very, very still. I’m not used to making the tattoo.”
He wrapped one hand around his arm and performed the spell that would loosen the invisibility on it. When the Slytherin Gang tattoo appeared, he added onto it, just the way that he’d been taught. Percy strengthened the invisibility and let go. “There you go; you are now a death Eater. And like I said, tell no one!” He got another drink and sat down.

Eddie looked at his Uncle for a moment. “You have been a big impact on us guys. And I’m being true to myself. I’m the talkive goofy guy that always getting talked to by the professor for talking during cla*s or playing a prank on them during cla*s. I once turned the Charms Professor’s hair purple once. And she didn’t like that much. Professor Scotts actually gave me eight weeks worth of detention for that one. But she also got me back by dying my hair a very bright pink!” he said with a small smile as he took a sip of Fire whiskey. “Oh don’t worry I got a high tolerance for alcohol.” he said with a smile on his face.
Eddie looked at him for a moment. “Um Dannie really has quit the DA. In fact she calls them no good for nothing DA.” he said with a small smile. “But that doesn’t mean a thing does it? She could be working for them. Apparently Callie doesn’t like her which I don’t blame her. But maybe just maybe she’s mad at her father wanted a closer relationship with Crew and joined for those reason’s alone. And maybe that’s a great idea. Talk to her. Find things out. Try to find out the truth or something. You’re good at that.” he said with a small smile. “It’s all right. It happens to the best of us.” he said with a small smile. “It happens to me to every once in a while.”
“That’s Sevvie for you. Always on a sugar rush.” he said with a small smile. “I am usually on a sugar rush as well. That day though I think he was at my house and he just got up and left and told me not to follow and I was to stay put and well I did but I was breaking everything in the house. Boy was my father not happy to have our house be destroyed by a fifteen year old boy who was full of sugar.” he said with a small smile at the memory. “But he was proud of me at the same time.” he said with a small smile on his face. He was so much into the memory that he hadn’t noticed his uncle moved behind the bar and stood next to him. He snapped out of it when him say Tattoo. “Tattoo?” he said with a small smile.
He watched his uncle wrap his hand around his arm and with a bit of pain he took a sip of Fire Whisky and had a half gla*s left. He saw the Tattoo and smiled a bit. He liked it a lot actually. He saw that he was about to do another thing to it and once again took another sip of Fire Whisky and finished off the cup in that one. He placed down the cup as his Uncle declared him a Death Eater. “Don’t worry I won’t tell no one. You got my word on that!” he said looking at his arm and at the tattoo. He was actually glad that he got that Tattoo now. He was glad that he was now a member of the Death Eaters. Wow I’m finally a Death Eater! he thought to himself with a small smile on his face.

Percy listened to what Eddie was saying. The one that was always being told to be quiet. That was him alright. The only cla*s that Percy ever paid attention in was Potions. He had loved that cla*s. He went on about pulling a prank on a teacher and he burst out laughing. “That’s a good one. And she got you back? I didn’t think teachers knew how to pull pranks. Oh, Eddie, did you get a picture of that? I would love to see you with bright pink hair.”
Yeah, and Severus called the gang a bunch of pricks last year when he was a spy for the gang. It was all a show. He actually quit the gang. He played his part. Just because they say bad things about the group doesn’t mean that they still aren’t loyal to them. Percy can’t trust her and he wasn’t going to. Even after school, if she wants to become a death eater, he would deny it until he had his proof. “Severus did the same thing last year when he was a spy for the gang. He went so far as to say that the gang was a bunch of pricks. That they didn’t know anything and they were all talk. Sev is a pathological liar and could pull it off. How good of a liar is this Wood girl?” He paused for a moment. “If I talked to her, I’d risk giving up my secret. People would wonder why I care about the gang so much. You and Sev will be my spies. You will talk to the girl and find out the truth and then report back to me.”
Percy listened to what Eddie was saying and became confused. He was told something completely different from Severus. “See, I told you he was a pathological liar. He told me that he was at home and got into a fight with his dad because Harry told him that he had to grow up and join the Army. He ran off to Rancer’s house because he was mad and needed to calm down.” He thought about it and remembered going over there to talk to Charlie and found everything broken. His uncle had been busy fixing everything. “That day, though, I remember. I went over there to talk to your father and he was fixing what you broke. He said you broke it and he was laughing at it. He wasn’t mad.” Percy chuckled and said, “Yes, tattoo. It’s just an add on to the Slytherin Gang tattoo.”
He smiled when he finished the tattoo at Eddie’s expression. He remembered when he got his tattoo. He got hyper afterwards and bounced around for a bit. Every person that got the death eater tattoo that he’d seen had done the same. “It’s natural to be hyper afterwards. Everybody I’ve seen had been. So feel free to jump around for a bit.”
