Sister Shopping Time (Dakota)

Annabella walked around the corridor. She knew she needed to see her sister to see if she was hanging in there. She knew that Scorpius and her had broken up. She was sad when that happened. She thought that they were a very cute couple until that Dannielle came into the picture but she wasn’t blaming Dannielle for anything. She was glad though that Scorpius needed someone to talk to last year but did he have to talk to a member of the DA? And who said she had quit the DA in the first place. And why did she join the Slytherin Gang.

She had held Lucius before more than once and she missed seeing the little one. Her nephew. She still couldn’t believe that she was an Aunt at age thirteen. She smiled a bit at the thought. She also hoped that Shayleigh and Lorcan gets together. She always sees them flirting with each other and she doesn’t think that Lorcan is in the Gang but at least he was a Slytherin that like each other. But then she wondered if he was going to the House Unity Dance? She had already been asked by Sevvie and she was going to go with him. She had to find a dress.

Finding her way to Diagon Alley she found the robe shop to start looking for dresses. When she couldn’t find a color that she wanted she was hoping that she would run into her sister so they could go into London to find a perfect dress for her. She was looking for a silver dress that had a pink ribbon. Well a silver dress that had barely touched the ground. She also wanted to find some flats or high heels that matched the ribbon. This also happened to be her first school dance she has ever been too. The other ones she didn’t go to because she wasn’t good and no one actually asked her to go. She sent an owl to her sister.

Kota dear sis,
I need your help. My dream finally came true for at least one night and I don’t mind it at all. Sevvie asked me to the House Unity Dance. I can’t find a dress in Diagon Alley and want to find one in London. But you have always told me not to go to London on my own. Because you are afraid things are going to happen. And I believe you on that. That’s why I’m asking you to help me and plus I have no idea what kind of dress to get. I planning on a silver dress that has a pink ribbon and some heels or flats that match the ribbon. But I also have no idea on how to find a dress and it doesn’t have to be silver it could be another color put together. Please meet me at the Leaky Cauldron. I’ll be waiting.

She walked over to the Leaky Cauldron and sat down at a table where she knows her sister could see her. The bartender came over to her and asked what she would like to drink. “Pumpkin Juice please.” she told the bartender who was glad to bring her a pumpkin juice without hesitation. When he brought her pumpkin juice he also brought her a few cookies without charge. She thanked the man and took one cookie and nibbled on it. She wasn’t really hungry but just to be polite about the free cookies. She waited for her sister still nibbling on that one cookie.

Dakota was sitting in the rocking chair in her son’s room as she was singing him a song still pa*sing the time until she was to go out to find her sister, it had been a while since she had seen her. Hoping to god Scorpius would come around and watch little Lucius so she could go out for once. Kota knew that Scor and Callie were now vampires and couldn’t come around yet or didn’t want too. To her she understood she has always been loyal to the Malfoy and that was never going to change she was going to raise her son telling him all about his father and the great things he had done for them. Just then her sister’s owl flow into the window dropping a letter in Kota’s free hand. Opening it and reading it she smiled it was good to see her sister happy and with Albus too that was great.

Standing up she placed Luke in his crib as she started to pack his baby bag with all the things she was going to need. After she was done with that she turned and smiled to Luke, “ready to go see Auntie Annabella?” she asked has she picked him up she walked over to a fireplace and held him tightly as she used flou powder to get to the Alley. Hoping that Anna was not going to be mad that Luke was with her; Dakota had a feeling that Miles hated him so she just prayed that her sister didn’t too. Walking down the Alley she sighed soon her son was going to be too big to carry, that scared her she was only fifteen and her son was almost one years old. Where was the time going? Smirking she started to think about the future knowing now that her relationship with Scorpius was over and the only thing holding her to him was the cute little boy in her arms. Kota knew that she would always be friends with Scor but also knew that was it.

Walking into the Leaky Cauldron and smiled as she saw her cute innocent looking sister sitting there eating a cookie, seeing her family after so long she was starting to miss them maybe with Scor and Callie vampires she could take Luke and move back with her brother and sisters and Remmy in the house she got them. She could handle both houses taking care of the Manor and staying there every so often. Shaking her head at the thought Scorpius would want his child at the Manor so that’s what she was going to do. Walking over to Anna she smiled and took a sit “Hey there! I hope you don’t mind Scorpius was busy today and I couldn’t find a baby sitter” she explained as she shifted Lucius into her other arm.

Annabella didn't even mind being an Aunt at age thirteen. In fact she enjoyed having a nephew and hoped there would be more to come. Still eating her cookie she saw her big sister with the baby come towards her way. How different the two girls looked but they did have the same brown hair. Well at least that was going for them. She smiled when she saw Lucius attactched to her hip. "I don't mind as long as I get to hold my nephew who I would just love to spoil if I had the money which I don't so he'll just have to be spoiled by love!" she said with a smile on her face.

She wasn't upset with her at all. She knew that Miles wasn't happy but he'll get over it and realize that he is happy to be an Uncle. Looking at her big sister for a moment she gave her a smile. "I'm mad at you just to let you know!" she said with a smile. "If I was mad I wouldn't be asking to hold him every chance I get." she said with a smile on her face. She looked at Lucius for a moment. "And don't you mind Uncle Miles. He doesn't know what he is missing!" she said with a cuing voice. She looked at her sister again. "Really though he will wake up someday and realize that he is an uncle to a great nephew here." she said with a smile.

She looked at her plate of cookies. "Want a cookie?" she asked her sister for a moment. "And maybe Lucius would like a cookie if it's alright with you of course!" she said with a smile on her face. She was curious though for a moment. "And we both know Scorpius is probably busy doing who knows what." she said with a small smile. For all she knew he could be hanging out with that Dannielle girl.

Kota giggled she loved her sister so much some would say she was weird for liking her siblings even though she was Slytherin and they were Hufflepuff but to her that didn’t matter she loved them anyway, she did raise them herself and she did take it easy on them so they didn’t go through all that she did when growing up. Miles was the only one how was dark just like her and honestly sometimes he pa*sed her in the evilness. He was so much like their father it was amazing to Kota; because the girls in the family didn’t turn out a thing like their mother which in the long run was probably better for them in the long run.

Smiling at Annabella she got up slowly and moved over to her sister then pa*sed baby Lucius to her sister and making sure she had a gentle yet firm hold on the baby before she moved back to her seat smiling as she watch Anna with her son. Dakota had to admit that in the past year she grew up so much that some of her old friends just didn’t understand her anymore. She was not that killer at heart anymore; she knew she couldn’t risk getting hurt and leaving Lucius alone. Jumping she looked at Anna as she heard the girl say she was mad at her; what had she done now? Giving her sister a sudden confused look that changed into a happy face with a giggle as she heard the next part; Dakota had forgotten that Anna was always able to make her laugh. She was going to have to make time for her family more it was unfair to them that she wasn’t around anymore.

“I am sorry Anna I know I have not been around for you that much. It’s a full time job going to school and raising that little one” she said with a smile. It was true Kota was having a hell of a hard time studying and caring for her son, but she knew when she first saw Lucius that she had made the right choice she loved that little boy more than anything in the world. Waving her hand to take a pa*s on the cookies she leaned over to a bag she had with her and pulled out a bottle and asked the waitress that was pa*sing by for some water. The waitress nodded and disappeared. Shaking her head she let out a soft sigh “Anna hunny he is not old enough for cookies yet but you can give him his bottle. If you like?” she said softly as she took the water from the waitress and thanked her; pouring the water in the bottle she had to thank Scor’s mother for teaching her all this she mixed the powdered milk in with the water and slide the bottle across the table. “Here you go” she said with a smile. Laughing at her sisters comment about Scor she shook her head “Scorpius still helps out a lot for one he still gets up in the middle of the night to check on Lucius so I can get a little more sleep. You should really see him with our son he is a great father and a good man”

Anna loved it when her sister would giggle. She really has. She remembers all the good times they had together. For some reason she was like her big sister in many ways and she knew it. And Miles was just like their father and she knew that quite well. She then of something. Miles could give Kota a run for her money and probably that maybe a good thing with her having a kid and all. She just wished that she and Scorpius was still together but if she was happy she was going to be happy and that is final. She loved her sister a lot and she didn’t care if she was a Slytherin or not.

Anna smiled when she got to hold her nephew. She had a gentle yet firm hold on Lucius. “Hi there Lucius. Your Auntie Anna is going to spoil you when you get bigger with cookies. I just love cookies!” she said with a smile. Anna noticed her sister’s confused face. She loved it though when she laughed. “You got to laugh more. You got a great laugh!” she said with a smile on her face. She looked at Kota for a moment. “Kota I miss hanging out with you!” she said with a smile on her face.

Annabella looked at Kota for a moment with a fake shock look and then looked at Lucius. She took the bottle out for a moment. “Hey I’m not that little one. My name is Lucius!” she said in a baby voice. “And if you ever need someone to watch him while you are studying. I’m here for you!” she said with a smile on her face as she gave him his bottle again. “I usually well get mine done during the late hours when I can’t sleep. For some reason that’s just when it is really quiet in the Common Room.” she said with a smile on her face. She saw that Kota pa*sed on the cookies. Her face sort of fell when she said that he wasn’t old enough for cookies yet. “You don’t what you are missing Lucius but you’ll get there someday!” she said in a cooing voice. She looked at her big sister with a smile. “Sure!” she said with a smile. She took the bottle from her sister and gave it to Lucius. She looked at her sister for a moment. “He is really taking the responsibility of a father. Which is good a good thing and someday maybe during the Holidays I will.” she said with a small smile.

She looked at Kota for a moment. “Oh I forgot to tell you who asked me to the House Unity Dance.” she said with a smile on her face. “You probably have known my crush has been for a long time has been Sevvie. Well I get my dream boy for at least a night and I’ll take what I can get.” she said with a smile on her face. “It’s too bad though that Sevvie and Callie broke up. They made a cute couple. Just like you and Scor had!” she said with a smile. Darn Dannielle Wood! she thought to herself. “So are we able to still be at the Manor since you and Scor broke up?” she asked her sister for a moment. She thought of something though. “You don’t have to answer this if you don’t want to. But do you trust Dannielle Woo?” she asked her for a moment. “I’m sad for her that her mother has well been killed. But I guess it wasn’t her fault that she was in the right place in the right time last year when she spoke to Scorpius last year. And it wasn’t her fault that she had ran into Scorpius again this year. But at least she is part of the Gang now.” she said with a small smile on her face.

“You know I think she’s a bit jealous of Callie though Kota.” she said with a certain smile. “She knows that Callie and Scor is really close. But Crew and her aren’t that close to each other but I did hear that she yelled at her brother for the first time in her life. Maybe there is hope for her after all.” she said with a smile on her face. “She has a lot of trust to earn but hey maybe just maybe she’ll stand up to Callie. Even though I don’t really see her doing that. She looks to innocent to do that!” she said with a small smile. “But anyways when can we go shopping for a dress?” she asked her sister for a moment. She looked at Lucius for a moment and then at the bottle. “He ate it all.” she said with a smile and then changed his position carefully to where his head was on her shoulder and began to burp the baby!
