[Albus Severus Potter]

Albus saw the notice pinned up on the board. There was going to be a house unity ball. He didn’t like the idea. He couldn’t go with the two girls that he loved. Who else would he go with? He didn’t know many people from other houses. He could always talk to Miles and Rehema about going with her. It would only be a few dances… that thought quickly left his mind. Miles was jealous, even if he would never admit to it. Albus didn’t want to end up in the hospital wing because of him. He maybe young, but he was worse than Albus was which could be because he was raised as a Slytherin, while Albus had been raised as a Gryffindor.

Thinking about the Bletchleys, he realized that there was another one that he’d been forgetting. Annabella. She was a year younger than Miles, but it would only be for a few dances and this way, he didn’t have to settle on a horrible goody two shoes. Albus sat down in a chair and thought about the dance and Annabella, wondering if he really wanted to go. For one thing, he wasn’t a good dancer. He was born with two left feet. He’d be stepping all over the poor girl’s feet. That would probably hurt her. He had big feet. Plus, there was Miles to consider. Albus would try to scare off any guy that got near Lily and he hated his family. He was sure Miles was the same way and probably worse, considering that he got along with his siblings.

He didn’t want to miss it, though. He wanted to talk to Shayleigh, see if she wanted to help him on a prank during the ball. Maybe during the last dance. He grinned at the thought. With the two of them working together, it would be good. Albus knew that he was going to go and the only person that he could ask would be Annabella Bletchley. He got up from the chair and left the common room, going straight to the Owlery.

After scribbling the note, he tied it to Ghosts’ leg and sent him off to find Annabella. Albus stood there, watching him fly around before heading to the forbidden forest, wondering if Annabella would agree to go with him.

Annabella was so bored she had no idea. She had heard about an unity dance and thought about going. She didn't care if no one asked her or not she was still going to go. She also hoped that her crush, Severus Potter, would ask her to be his date. She had no idea her dream would come true. Setting in front of the fire place which didn't have flames in it yet since it was still daylight outside.

She then heard a tapping sound on the windows and saw a bird that looked familiar to her. "Hey Ghost what do you got today? Something for Miles?" she asked him for a moment before she took off the note off the leg. She was surprised when it was addressed to her. "Oh I see you were deleivering the message to me. Well thank you Ghost." she said as she walked away fromt he bird and sat on the couch again. She read the letter and then pretty much let out a huge scream of joy which made everyone look at her. "Sorry!" she said as her cheeks blushed but ran out after that and didn't stop running until she could not run anymore.

She didn't know if her cheeks were still red or not but she made it to the Forbidden forst. She thought for a moment. She had liked the guy for some time now and she wondered how Miles would appreiciate Severus for asking her out. And then she wondered if Severus knew that she liked him. She hoped he didn't know that but then again she hoped that he did know that.

Albus was sitting in a tree, waiting for Annabella to show up. When his owl returned to him, he smiled. She would’ve gotten the letter and would be there soon. He wouldn’t have long to wait. He’d heard a rumor that she liked him, but he wasn’t sure if he should believe it or not. Besides, he knew that there were enough girls that liked him. They weren’t going to get him though. Albus was already in love and if they weren’t on that list, they have no chance with him. Naturally, he never said any of this out loud. It was actually kind of fun watching all these girls swoon for him. It just made his ego bigger.

He thought he saw her in the distance and jumped from the tree, landing on his feet. He’d done that for years. He always landed on his feet. He was like a cat that way. Ghost landed on his shoulder and nipped at Albus’ fingers. “Ghost, there are easier ways to get my attention,” he said, laughing. His owl was an attention hog. He hadn’t seen another owl quite like Ghost. He stroked the birds head, thinking about how he would ask her to the dance and if she would agree to it.

Asking girls out wasn’t something he was accustomed to. He’d asked out Callista, but that was it. It was kind of easy with her, too. He grinned at Annabella. “Have you heard that there’s going to be a house unity ball? Since we are meant to take someone from another house, would you like to go with me?” Albus didn’t like the way that he asked her, but he couldn’t take it back. Ghost took off back to the owlery and he watched him go, before turning his attention back to Bella, waiting for an answer.

She jumped when he had jumped out of a tree. Letting out a sigh she couldn't help but smile. She wished he hadn't done that though. "You scared me!" she said for a moment putting her hand on her chest and it felt like her heart was beating a millions miles per hour. After a few minutes ti got back to normal. It didn't take him long to ask her out to the house untiy dance. "Yeah I've heard of it." she said before she answered his question and placed her index and thumb finger on her chin and pretend to think about the other answer. Looking at him for a moment with a smile on her face. "No one else had asked me yet and I would love to go with you to the dance." she said with a smile on her face.

She couldn't believe it now. Her wish had came true. At least she gets to dance with what she thought was the hottest guy in the school. She was a bit jealous of Callie who had his attention but at least she would be able to have at least one dance with the guy. Or at least one school dance with the guy. She then wondered what she was going to wear what dress she should wear. She was now have to go ask her sister for help on this one.

Looking back at Severus for a moment she had tilted her head. "Sevvie by the way you have a wonderful cute owl." she said with a smile on her face. She had thought that Ghost was the cutest owl there was. And she wanted him to know that. She then wondered how he got the name Ghost for it. "How did you pick out her or his name?" she asked him with a smile on her face.

Albus smirked when she said that he scared her. You wouldn’t find too many Slytherin Gang members to admit to that. He certainly would never admit when he was scared. It was something that could be used against them. It was the reason not too many people knew what he was scared of. It was also the reason why he never told anyone why he didn’t fight in the war. There were only two people who know. One was dead and the other was someone that was completely trustworthy. He was surprised Percy had understood his reason. Once again, his mind was going to something else. Albus needed to pay attention to Annabella. He’d hate for her to think that he was ignoring her. After a few minutes, he said, “You don’t want to go around telling people something like that, even if they did scare you. They will find ways to use it against you. That is why there aren’t too many people that know what I’m scared of.”

As she was thinking about going with him, he wondered who he would ask if she said no. There was always Jessie Scamander, but he wanted someone who was evil and she didn’t strike him as evil. He wasn’t even sure if Lorcan was evil. That guy was so hard to read. Albus just knew that he was neutral. Maybe Shayleigh can convince him to join the gang. After all, if Lorcan ever asked her out, he should be evil. He didn’t want to lose his best friend because Scamander decided to follow his parents and convinced Shay to follow him. It would be very sad if that were to happen. He’ll talk to her about it. Later. Hopefully, she wouldn’t get mad at him for not completely trusting him. d*mnit, why did his mind keep doing that? Stupid ADHD. This was why he hated his father’s side of the family. His grandmother must’ve had ADHD run in her family, as it is hereditary. Albus went back to this place and time just to hear Annabella say that she will go with him. “Fantastic! Now if only the school would set a date for it already.”

He loved talking about Ghost. It was one of his favorite topics. Ghost was the only thing that he got from his father that he liked. If anything were to happen to that bird, he didn’t know what he would do. Albus smiled. “I got him for my eleventh birthday as sort of a birthday/going to school present. I guess my parents wanted to make sure that I would have a way to contact them, if I needed to. Because he’s white, and at that time I still loved my family, I thought about naming him Hedwig the second because my dad had a white owl named Hedwig when he was younger. But after I saw him fly around, I thought that he sort of resembled a ghost, so that’s how I got the name.” And the owl liked that name. He had answered to it instantly. “Do you think Miles will be mad at me for asking you? I just need to know if I should be ready for an attack?”

Annabella stood there looking at Severus for a moment wondering what he was thinking about. After a minute or two she looked at certain tree and saw a pretty flower at it's base. Sure it looked like all the other trees but this one had somehow had a flower growing at it's root. She walked over to the tree and looked at the flower and thought it was pretty. She turnred though when she finally heard Severus speak. "You caught me off guard. And Miles already told me that and I guess I forgot." she said for a moment.

"So Ghost is a boy owl." she said with a smile on her face. "I wish I had an owl." she said for a moment. "Dakota and Miles didn't want me to have one yet. But I'm thinking about getting one anyway. They are totally useful!" she said for a moment. "I wonder if there is any black owls because then I would name it Black Satin." she said with a smile on her face. She really did want an owl and then thought about it what was holding her back from getting one. Only her two big siblings. "So Ghost was a present! And she stuck with you for five to six years." she said with a smile on her face. "That's a good thing!" she said with a smile on her face.

"I would really hope it is soon." she said with a smile on her face. She hoped and wondered what was going on with the other gang members at the moment. She had heard of a rumor that Scorpius had asked Dannie and that she said yes to him and hoped that wasn't true but if it was then good for Scorpius. She had always thought that Dakota and Scorpius made a cute couple. And then he thought of Eddie. Rumor had it that he liked a girl that wasn't even in the gang. How different could he be from Severus but then again they were so much a like. "How is it possible that you and Eddie aren't even brothers but you guys act so much a like?" she asked him with a small smile. "And I think he likes Xyliana who is in my house and I don't think she's in the gang!" she said with a small smile.

Albus was sure that Miles had told her that. He probably got her ready to come to this school. She was young, though. She’d learn. And he would be there to remind her whenever she did forget something. “You’re young; you’re allowed to forget a few things. I’ll remind you whenever you do forget something, just try not to forget anything around people that’ll use it against you and always be cautious. You can’t trust everyone in Slytherin or the gang. There are spies about.”

“Yes, Ghost is a boy.” Miles and Dakota didn’t want her to have an owl? That was odd. She was old enough to take care of one. He decided that he’d get it for her. A black owl… he’d look around, see what he could find. If her siblings didn’t approve, he’d take care of it when they weren’t in school. It wasn’t fair that they wouldn’t let her have something that she wanted. “You’d be able to get one in a couple of years. They won’t be able to order you around soon. And I don’t even think Miles has an owl. Then again, he couldn’t take care of one. He’s on the streets, but you’d be able to. You aren’t on the streets, too, are you?” If she was, he’d offer her a place to stay. Maybe he’ll get Percy buy him a house and she could be his roommate. Get Eddie and Louis in there, too.

“Yeah, I know. I don’t know why they don’t just set one.” They should’ve already had it set before announcing the ball. This school was unprepared for a lot of things. “Yeah, he does like Xyliana Scamander. I don’t know what he sees in her. And she isn’t in the gang, but Eddie would probably convince her too. We aren’t losing Eddie.” Albus laughed at her question. So many people thought they were brothers. They knew Eddie had a twin and a*sumed Albus was that twin. “So many people think we are twins. He and I have always been very close. It’s just natural that we would rub off on each other.”

Annabella looked at him for the moment. "I'll remember that one!" she said with a smile on her face. Of course I scare easily! she thought to herself. She listened to what he had to say. It was pretty much like him trying to help her out on things and teaching her a few things. She looked at him and smile. "I'll remember that!" she said with a smile. "There are people you can't trust everywhere!" she said with a small smile. "Gang or not you can't seem to trust anyone. Unless you know them very well." she said with a small smile. "Like Dakota. I've known her my whole life and I'll always trust her." she said with a smile on her face.

"I think Ghost is a wonderful owl!" she said with a smile and then had to laugh for a moment and then wondered if she was still welcomed at the Malfoy Manor since Scorpius and Kota had broke up. "At the present moment I'm not so sure. I pretty much go where my older sister goes to live. So I'm not sure!" she said with an honest answer. "If I did I wouldn't be worst than it is now. I have a roof over my head and I have my family and friends!" she said with a small smile. "As long as I have friends then I got a home somewhere!" she said with a bigger smile.

"I don't know about that but one never knows." she said with a smile. "Anything can happen but I don't think Eddie would change because of a girl." she said that with a bit of smile. She looked at him as he listened to what he said for a moment. "You have a twin though but it isn't Eddie and Eddie has a twin but it isn't you! Your families must have to correct people when they say that you two are the twins when really Alex is yours and Jedrek's is Eddies!" she said with a smile on her face. "I know this may sound like an odd smile but what if you do lose Eddie to this girl?" she asked him for a moment.

That’s what he just said. There weren’t a lot of people that you can trust. He trusted Louis and the other marauders and he trusted Shay, but there weren’t too many out of his family that he could trust. There weren’t too many people in his family he could trust. His whole family was on opposite sides and even on the same side; you couldn’t be sure who to trust. There were too many spies about. “I don’t trust too many people in my family, but I come from a big family and we’re all on different sides. Like Jed, I can’t trust him. And if I were you, I wouldn’t trust Kai, even if she did join the gang.”

“You’re welcomed wherever I am as well,” he said, smiling at her. “Right now, I’m at Malfoy Manor, even if Callie and I aren’t together anymore. And if I get a place of my own, you’ll be the first person I ask to move in.” He would then invite his friends and the girl that he’d be dating. He and Bella would never be together, but they would always be friends. “We may never go out after the dance, but we’re still friends. We’ll always be friends.”

Albus should head back up to the castle, but he didn’t want to leave Bella. He was finding that he loved being in her company. She was a wonderful girl and beautiful too. Where had that come from? Never had he considered her beautiful. Well, maybe he always had, but never admitted it to himself. She was a little young for him. And there was Miles. He would probably never allow her to date Albus. “He can’t because he’ll be dead. I’ll kill him and he’s out of the marauders. He won’t turn on us and the family doesn’t bother correcting people when they say that. We let it go.”
