Scorpius smirked as he walked through the halls of the castle. He was on his way to meet someone precious. His mind was racing through different lines to say, moves, and what all he could possibly say and do. He knew that he wasn’t exactly single but he also wasn’t exactly taken just yet. He figured that he would play his card slightly. He knew that he wouldn’t get too far since everyone around the school knew who he had his eyes on. He also figured a little flirting never killed anyone. He wanted a location that was quiet yet open. He ran it by Albus but regardless of the answer he chose to still go for it.
He didn’t want to waste time so he never bothered to lose his books. He decided to head straight up to the towers. He had heard a few things and there had been a few things that he decided to look into. He did most of his research and decided to take a step out onto some thin ice. He knew where Alex stood but like Albus, chose to ignore them. He made arrangements with some friends to set something up. He wanted to hit it off just right and there was only one way to do so.
He had contacted her previously and she was all for it. He decided once he got up to the towers that he would quickly send out another owl. He glanced everything over and knew that his buddies had come through. He was surprised that Skylar even kept other people out of the tower. His lips curled as he couldn’t have done any better in setting up the perfect moment. There was a bouquet of roses lying on the table over a box of expensive chocolates. He walked around the room which had faint lights, a table with trays of fruit, meats, vegetables, cheese and crackers. Everything was lightly covered.
He found out that she loved horses so he walked over to the resting place of the flowers and chocolate to leave tickets that he picked up from London for a horse show. He knew that he was going rather far out for a potter girl and that she had been going through a really hard time but at the same time there was much that could be looked at. He glanced around once more when he realised that there were also a few books laying on the side. He took out some parchment and a quill pen and quickly jotted down one more letter to the precious girl that he was looking.
Now, all he had to do was wait. He certainly didn’t hope that he would have to wait for her long. He picked up a few things and moved a few others as he wanted to make sure that if it came to it, he could possible as her for a light dance.

Lily walked up to the tower quite annoyed. She didn't really want to be here, but at the same exact time wondered what it was that Malfoy wanted. If she wasn't as curious as she was, she probably wouldn' have agreed to meet him in the first place. She would have most likely given him so lame excuse about why she couldn't. Lately preferred to spend her time alone, she always did when something upsets her, or is really bothering her. She could never stand others breathing down her neck, constantly asking her whats was the matter. It was basically what most people were trying to do, and thats what made Lily Isolate herself from everyone else. She figured if she spent her time alone when she was like this then, people would have a hard time acting the way they do around her, when she's like this.
It wasn't like she didn't know it was because they were just concerned about her, no she knew that. She just never liked to talk about whats bothering her. She was just plain sick of it all, she didn't want others to acting like that around her. It was rather annoying. What it really came down to is she didn't want them in her business. She wanted to deal with things her own way, even if it isn't exactly the right way to begin with. Lily was, after all a type of person who liked to learn from her own mistakes. She didn't like others telling her whats right, and whats wrong.
After she made it all the way up to the tower, she turned towards him."What do you want Malfoy?" she said in a bit of an annoyed tone. Lily didn't even look around at anything else, well not yet anyways. She thought he asked her up here for another reason, and not what it was that he had planned. No what he had set up, and planned, didn't even cross her mind. She looked over at him waiting fo him to answer her question. "Well?" she said a few seconds later, tapping her foot in an impatient way. Yes Lily was being quite b*tchy to others lately, and sometimes she didn't even realize that she was doing it. At this point she was just so annoyed with everyone, and everything, that she didn't think before she spoke. Lily could have quite the attitude when she wanted to.

Scorpius stood on the far side of the towers looking out the window when he turned slightly to glance over his shoulder when he heard the footprints on the stone steps. He smirked as he waited for her to enter. He turned to face her when she showed up and asked her questions. He had to admit; he was surprised by her sudden tone with no hello but deep down is where his surprise rested which never showed as he was a master at hiding when he was surprised. He wasn’t use to that one though, where he didn’t get a hello. Usually, the girls said at least hi or something to him. He smirked, as he did have to agree to the boldness she presented. “Fiesty, today are we?” he questioned. He walked over to the table and picked up the tickets. He went to Lily and handed her the tickets. “Here” he said.
He looked to Lily, “I have something I want to talk to you about, yes, but in the mean time I figured we could have a little fun.” He stated as he glanced over to the table. “If I remember correctly you like roses and chocolate. There are some on the table for you.” He stated as he glanced back to her. He moved out of her way so she could do what she wanted. “I didn’t know who else to go to with what has been on my mind so I figured if anyone could a*sist me, it would be you.” He said in a light almost charming tone. “I believe you know London fairly well. There are two tickets to the horse show in London on the weekend.” He explained.
He walked over to the table only to return with two gla*ses of punch. He held one out to her. “This is strictly a private party for the two of us. Im sure you look around youll find all or at least most of your favourite things. I have to admit I am trying since I do need your a*sistance and please, call me Scorpius.”

"Yeah well maybe I'd rather not be here right now, ever think of that?" she said in a sarcastic tone when he commented on her being fiesty. She couldn't really help herself when she said that. She knew that she shouldn't continue to be rude, and was trying not to.The only reason she was even trying not to, and trying to control herself, was because obviously he had called her here for a reason. She wasn't sure if it was the right thing to not try and be nice to him. I mean after all he wasn't being rude to her. She looked at him when he handed her tickets. What in the heck was he handing her tickets for? She took them, so he wouldn't be holding the tickets out in the air. She did, however wait for him to explain, which she was hoping he would do. She was lost at the moment.
When he said there was something he wanted to talk to her about she wasn't that shocked. She figured there had been an important reason why he called her here. She was really curious as to what it was though. He obviously wasn't going to tell her at the moment though, that she could tell. Great so she'd have to end up staying that was just perfect. "How do you know that?" she said when he said that he knew she liked roses, and chocolate. She glared at him when she asked him that as well. Since when did he know so much about her. "a*sist you with what?" Lily asked totally confused. What was he playing at here. She nodded when he said what the tickets for, still unsure of where he was getting at here.
"Ugh fine I'll call you Scorpius" she said with a roll of her eyes, taking the gla*s from him. Even though she kind of wanted to she didn't make him hold the gla*s out in the air. She just couldn't help, but to continue to be sarcastic, and rude, though she really had no reason to. Trying to be nice was proving very difficult at the moment. I mean it wasn't as if Scorpius had been the one to be rude first, no it had been Lily. Then again she'd been acting like that around everyone lately. It really didn't mater who they were. "Whats with all of this?" she said pointing to everything around them. "I mean what are you getting at here huh?, and why not just tell me why you called me down here?" she said not really understanding why he didn't just get to the point.

Scorpius smirked, “Yeah, I have thought about that.” he stated, “That attitude of yours is pretty attractive on you, Ms. Potter. Maybe you should have been put into Slytherin.” He said in a more charming tone. He did have to admit that what he heard about her attitude has been about right. He figured that he might have gone a little over the top but he needed to win her over somehow. He just wasn’t sure if this was going to work out for him after all. He decided that maybe if he showed her his charms and maybe let her know that he was partially interested in her that things might look a little more up. He figured that with everything going on in her life and the absence of her mother she was lashing out. He just wasn’t sure if now was the time to mention or ask about that or not.
“When I’m interested in a person, naming you, I do what I can to find out what they like and into.” He said in a delicate tone. He watched her with warm and inviting eyes as he took a sip on the juice. “My condolences towards you for losing your mother during the war.” He said in a softer tone as he glanced away. “It’s not easy losing a parent.” He glanced back to her, “I’ve lost both.” He said in the same tone trying to see how she’d react with that. “To a*sist me with laying a feud to rest.” He said as he looked back at her and into her eyes. “I don’t believe the feud should continue and it should go to rest.” He added trying to keep things light. He wasn’t sure on a lot when it came to her mother as he didn’t bother to find out a lot based on her. He did know that she was Ron Weasley’s sister and she died in the war.
He knew that this wasn’t going to be easy yet he wasn’t going to let this go. He smirked as he watched her. “Thank you.” He said in response to her agreeing to calling him by his name. “A gesture of good nature, a chance to ask you to enjoy yourself by joining me without anyone to bother us. A chance that we may bet to know each other” he explained in a delicate voice before he kissed her gently on her cheek. He wasn’t sure how’d she take it or what her reaction would be but none the less he knew if anything it would just make things more interesting. “Please, relax a little. You are safe here. Nothing can touch you or hurt you and if I make you feel uncomfortable I’ll simply back off or even leave if that makes you feel better.” He added quickly. “I called you so we could get to know each other, I can let you know that I am intrigued by you and so we can talk.” He didn’t want to mention the feud again. He didn’t know where she stood with the feud but he was sure he was going to find out.

(lol i don't really like it too much, but I couldn't really think, and idk when I'm going home, so I couldn't know when I'd be able to reply. Next one will be better.) "I'm sorry I'm being rude" she said looking up at him. I really don't mean to be. I mean you didn't do anything" she said looking at him. She knew she didn't need to say sorry for how she was acting. I mean he obviously knew she was going to act like this. Then again pretty much everyone knew. She had said it anyway though, and felt better doing so."I mean you didn't do anything. I really have no reason to treat you like that" she said a few seconds later. "Unlike everyone else you seem to be smart enough not to ask me whats wrong. That's where the problem is.I'm sick and tired of it, so I act like this so everyoe will just leave me alone." she said truthfully. She didn't want him to think she was doing it to just do it.
Lily looked up at him, and laughed a bit when he mentioned about her being in Slytherin. "Slytherin?, Me no I don't think so" she said with a laugh. Why would he think that just based on her attitude? Lily really wasn't sure about that one. I mean despite her attitude she didn't really think there was anything really Slytherin about her. "And besides I mean jumping from Gryffindor to Ravenclaw was enough for me, so I don't think that will happen" she said. Lily had been resorted in the beginning of the year. When she had first been sorted she had told the hat where she wanted to go, but at the beginning of the year it had been decided that she would be sorted honestly. Lily really didn't mind, because she knew where she would end up. She after all had been one to tell the hat.
Lily had a look of surprise on her face. "Um okay...." she said not really sure what she should say to that. She looked at him in the eyes, when he mentioned her mother. Her first instinct was to yell at him, but didn't. Again he didn't do anything wrong, but it was how she was acting lately, she wanted to lash out at people for no reason really. Instead though she just nodded, "Thank you" she said a bit surprised. "I'm sorry" she said when he said he lost both of his parents. She didn't think she should say anything but. She thought she had heard something about one of his parents, but not both of them.
Lily nodded when he mentioned the feud. "No your right it's stupid" she replied when he said that the feud should be layed to rest. Truthfully Lily found no point in it either. Her attitude probably didn't help much though. After all she was saying one thing, but sounded as if she was coming from a different direction towards the whole thing. She'd been shocked when he kissed her cheek, It honestly wasn't something she expected. She didn't do anything though. She nodded listening to all he was saying. It couldn't hurt to stay for awhile, and he said she was safe.

Scorpius smirked and shrugged, “You don’t need to apologize to me. I commented on your attitude because I was always told that you were a sweet quiet girl.” He said when he looked directly at her, “Honestly, I think this side of you much better. I think you are quite attractive.” He added. He shrugged when he looked to her, “Everyone has their stories. I just don’t care since it’s not my place to ask or barge in.” He said when he nodded, “Don’t blame you for lashing out at them. It’s none of the flippin business! If there is anything on your mind and you care to share then the floor is open for you. Otherwise, it can stay right where it is and we can just enjoy the other’s company and talk about more frivolous things; like have you ever been to London’s champion horse jumping shows?” he questioned. He took a drink as he glanced out over the trees before he looked back to her, “If you run into people who get on your case you could always let me know and I’ll blow them out of your kingdom.” He said in a joking tone as he smirked.
His smirk grew slightly as he glanced back to her when she laughed. He was surprised that he got her to laugh “I don’t know. I think you could pull of being a Slytherin with that attitude.” He said with a smirk. He did know that deep down she probably wouldn’t since he knew that before she wasn’t like this. He nodded slightly, “If you don’t mind me asking, How’d you jump from Gryffindor to Ravenclaw?” he enquired. He wasn’t going to make her answer it if she didn’t want to. He didn’t even really expect an answer for his question. He did have to admit that it was good to get her laugh and lighten up. He wasn’t about to make a fool of himself though.
He glanced to her and caught the look that she had. He looked into her eyes and could see what she wanted to do but refrained. He nodded slowly as he understood her silent reaction. He glanced away for a second deciding that maybe instead of targeting her right now he’d direct this onto him for a moment. He knew a few of the rumours going around about his own family in that aspect. “Draco died.” He said, “Surprisingly, the slippery wimp Draco died. They were able to prove to my family and I that he died. I didn’t think or believe at first that he died but they gave actual proof that he did. Later that same day, my mother disappeared. Hasn’t returned, called, sent a letter. Nothing.” He said before he glanced down. “Callie seems to miss her and it seems to bother her. Abraxas doesn’t seem to care either way.” He shrugged, “I’m better off without her as well as Draco. It’s just too bad that Callie can’t accept that she’s gone.”
He nodded slightly, “There is no point to the feud when we all get along for the most part.” He said. “The only one that challenges is James but really he is pretty well over all of this as well.” He added with a slight shrug. “Would you care to dance?” he questioned as he held his hand out to Lily. He knew that it was probably a waste but he wanted to try to have the girl lighten a little around him. He also wanted her to know that he’d protect her, keep her safe right now. He probably wouldn’t turn her away if she came to him and told him that she needed help with some either.
((I thought it was a good post. ^_^))

"Yeah I'm sweet until someone pisses me off" she said with a small laugh. Though she wasn't feeling the best, and haven't for a long while she still couldn't help but to laugh at what she just said. It was also making her feel better, if only a little bit. "See everyone else doesn't see it that way" she replied. "All they want to do is pry, and it's seriously annoying, and even when I refuse to tell them they still go at it. It's like they don't learn" She said. "Not sure when they'll learn but yeah" she said with a smile. She shook her head at his question "No I haven't" she replied.
"I was resorted. I'm not one hundred percent sure as to why though" Lily said. She didn't exactly know the details of it all. She had been called to the Headmasters office the first day of this new year, and she was resorted. She was never told why, or no one went into full details anyway. "Besides truthfully I really felt out of place in Gryffindor anyway" she said truthfully. It felt way too different in Gryffindor for Lily. She really felt lost there. It wasn't like that in Ravenclaw. She felt way more content.
Lily nodded listening to what he was saying. "Oh..Um..Wow" she replied. She didn't know exactly what to say to his mother just up and leaving like that. She hadn't expected that. She knew Draco had died, but she hadn't known the part about his mother. "Yeah well my father isn't all up on it either. In fact I barely even noticed him when I'm at home" she said. He certainly hadn't been acting like a father. At first Lily didn't notice it, seeing as she was so upset. Eventually she caught on though.
Lily nodded when he said there was no point in the feud if they get along or the most part. "True" she said with a nod. "Yeah James is a pain not to mention he acts way to much my father a lot of the times" Lily said with a laugh. Sometimes her older brother got annoying. In fact there had been a point where she thought all her brothers were annoying. Then again all little sisters probably thought their older brothers were annoying at one point or another. She was a bit shocked when he asked her to dance. It had caught her off guard. "Um yeah sure I guess" she replied with a nod. She still wasn't too sure about all of this, but she was slowly coming around.
