Fun Time (Albus)

Eddie had heard about Callie and Sevvie breaking up from his twin brother who knows that they have a wonderful time no matter what is going on. He walked up to the dorm he chares with Sevvie and three other Slytherins. He wondered though how he was going to tell Sevvie that he was going to have fun like it or not. But then again he just had his ways of having someone do the things he wants at times but times like this is a bit tricky.

Walking into the room he walked over to his cousin's bed and just sat there looking at him. In fact he had fun just looking at him. He was just going to sit there until he realized that he was starring at him. Sure he knew it was rude but at least it may get his attention when he thought about it. Sitting there he began to think of ways to have fun. One way was to leave Hogwarts for a while and go hang somewhere that isn't magical like London or China.

He still sat there waiting for him to notice that he was sitting there staring at him. It must be pretty bad if he's ignoring me like he is. But then again there are other fish out there to ask to the ball. Why not Annabella Bletchley. She's decent and she likes him and it would be her dream come true if he asked her to the ball. Maybe I should tell him that Annabella likes him. he thought to himself still looking at his cousin. Come on cuz you got to realize that I'm sitting here looking at you and not saying a single word to you! he thought to himself.

Staying in bed was the safest thing for him to do. It was the only way to ensure that he didn’t end up hurt again. The only problem with it was the fact that he seemed to be an attraction. People kept peeking their heads in and looking at him. It was getting to the point where now, Albus was threatening every person that looked in at him. That made them stop. He’d earned himself a reputation when he wasn’t his normal hyper self. He would hurt anyone that bothered him.

Well, not anyone. Jedrek would come in often and just sit for awhile on his bed and Lorcan has been coming in and just sitting with him, too. That was all they did. They never tried to get him to talk or move. They just sat with him. Albus supposed that he was thankful for their company. It showed him who his friends were. Anybody that would sit in the room with him not talking or doing anything really was a friend. He was expecting Eddie to come around soon. He was his best friend. They were sort of like brothers.

Just as he was thinking about it, his cousin walked in. Albus watched him sit on the edge of his bed. So he was another one. Yeah, he did have friends. Why was he so depressed then? It wasn’t like he lost everyone in his life. “Your brother has already done that,” he said, in a hoarse voice. He hadn’t had anything to eat or drink in a long time. “And so has Lorcan. But it’s not like you to just sit around. You’re as talkative as I usually am.” Albus didn’t think this would last. He could’ve waited for him to talk, but he wanted to first. He didn’t know why. He just felt like it. “You know when you aren’t so full of candy, it’s amazing how long you can go without moving.”

"And you won't believe how hard it was not to speak!" Eddie said with a smile on his face. He didn't like it one bit. Not one bit at all he hated the silence and it had been killing him. He was glad he finally had spoken. "I know I've heard about that. Jedrek was actually the one who told me you needed cheering up Sevvie." he said with a smile on his face. "So you and Callista broke up! There are other fish in the sea and I know of one that likes you and would be very happy if you ask her to the House Unity Dance." he said with a smile on his face.

He couldn't believe Sevvie had been in that bed for a long time. "No sugar now I know it's bad." he said with a small smile. "Get out of bed and get dress we are going to have some fun." he told him. He wasn't asking if he wanted to he was demanding it. And he knew it too. "And I wasn't asking. I was demanding so get up!" he said to him. He walked over to his bedside and grabbed some of his stash of candy and handed some to Sev. "You need some sugar in you so eat that." he said with a smile. It seems like everytime had broken up with a girl Eddie had to be the one to cheer up Sevvie up. And he was getting use to it too.

"When I have girl problems man I just try to distract myself and it's usually because of you!" he said with a smile on his face. "So let's get out of Hogwarts and out of London all in entirely. We can go anywhere you like. Even China if you really want to go to China." he said with a smile on his face. "Boy it's good to talk again." he said with a smile on his face. "Just sitting there looking at you wasn't any fun." he said with a small smile on his face.

Albus knew how hard it was not to talk when you wanted to. He was always the most talkative of the two. That’s why he was always in trouble in cla*s because he always spoke out of turn. He didn’t allow anyone to get words in edgewise, not even the professor. “Yes, I do know how hard it is not to talk when you want to. I’m the one that gets detention every day because I talk too much.” Albus loved Eddie, but he was just so… he couldn’t even think of the right word. If he ever had a broken heart, then he’d understand. It wasn’t something you could bounce right back from. “You don’t understand! This isn’t something you bounce right back from! If it was, I’d already have a girlfriend. And I’m not going to the stupid dance! Houses aren’t to be united!”

Albus was the most obstinate person on the face of the planet and he was going to prove that. He wasn’t getting out of bed. The only time he got out of bed was when he and Alex went out and that was only because Jedrek made him feel so guilty about standing him up. He wouldn’t be standing Eddie up. They had no plans to go out. “You don’t demand anything of me! Let’s not forget who’s older.” Sure, he was only a few months older than him, but he was still older and therefore, was the superior. Albus threw the candy the candy on his bed and then reached down and grabbed his stash and threw it over there as well. “No more candy for me. Why don’t you just leave?”

He didn’t want to go out anywhere. He was fine here, living in his pain. There wasn’t anything that anyone could do that would get him out of bed. Albus would stay there his whole life or at least until he died, which is going to be soon, with how he’s going. Well, he’d been thinking about if for awhile. Why not make everyone happy? “I’m not going. You go have fun. I’ll just be a spoilsport.”

Eddie looked at him for a moment and just had to smile at Severus for amoment. "I do understand that. Remember Jasmine at all?" he asked him for a moment. "I've dated her for a couple of years. Third year to fifth year and she broke up with me and I was down myself. And you were there for me even though I did lay in bed for a couple of days without getting out of bed to eat you still visited me and I told you that you didn't understand so don't tell me I don't understand because you are where I was at a year ago!" he told him with a small smile. "You are so getting out of that bed. I've heard it's been more than two days." he said with a small smile.

"You maybe older than me by a few months Sev but you do need to get out and trust me you will have fun." he said with a smile on his face. "It's a surprise and Shayleigh may be there. She misses you know and she wishes she could come up here but Jedrek told her to leave you alone so you have to go to her!" he told him even though he wasn't sure if Shayleigh wanted to see him or not and was taking a gander on a guess. But for one thing she did miss him even though she has Lorcan he could tell there was something missing. "She's not all there. She's happy yes but she also misses seeing you everyday and aren't you supposed to be patrolling tomorrow night anyways?" he asked him and if he did doesn't mean that Shay and Sev will patrol together again tomorrow. "Because I'm your cousin and your best friend if you haven't forgotten." he said looking at him.

"I wish I didn't have to do this but I will soak you down with water if you don't get out of that bed and get dressed Albus Severus Potter!" he said using his full name. He knew that Sevvie hated it and all but he felt like he had no other choice but to do so. He looked at him for a moment. Then he thought about it and looked at him. "Okay fine if you don't want to get out of bed then I guess that I'll have to tell everyone you let a girl win." he said for a moment hoping that would work.

Jasmine… he thought about that for a minute. He did recognize the name, but he couldn’t place it. He couldn’t see her face. Obviously, they had dated and she’d broken up with him last year… Soon, it all came to him. Albus remembered actually pulling him out of bed. He couldn’t stand seeing Eddie like that and maybe he felt that same way. He sighed. He’d have to go out with him tonight. He won’t have any fun, but he’d go. “I remember her now. I literally pulled you out of bed.”

Who was Jedrek to keep his best friend, the closest one he has out of the family, away from him? Shay could’ve helped cheer him up. He would have to have a talk with Jed. He’d forgotten about patrolling. Yeah, he had to patrol tomorrow night. Hopefully, he was alone or with Shay because he’d likely kill anyone else. “I’ll have a talk with that brother of yours. He had no right to tell her she couldn’t come up and I can’t go to her because men can’t go into the girls’ dorms.” That was true, but Albus knew how. He’d done often enough.

He actually laughed. He could just see Eddie doing that. It would be better for him if he didn’t though. Albus would really hate to have to murder him. “I’d hate to have to murder you, Darcy Edward Weasley.” He threw his legs off the bed and sat up, giving his cousin an evil look. “Black mailing me now? Black mailing a Slytherin Gang member?” That wasn’t very smart. He wished he could’ve said Death Eater, but he wasn’t allowed to tell anyone that. Eddie couldn’t find out until Percy made him one, which would be soon, at least Albus thought it would. “I’ll go, but I won’t have any fun. And let’s get this straight, you got me going a while ago, so don’t think it’s because you’re planning on blackmailing me.”

Eddie looked at him for a moment. "Yeah I didn't have fun that day either to think of it but at least I was out of bed!" he said with a smile on his face. It was a pretty bad break up and it broke his heart. Now though he takes it as a speed bump and is trying again and he hopes that Xyliana would give him time of day. He thought she was pretty.

"Well from what I heard well at least from her is that she is patroling tomorrow night and requested to work with you and she got you! So she'll see you tomorrow night!" he said with a small smile on his face. "And do so he thinks just because he's older by some what minutes he's the boss. Which he is not!" he said with a small smile. He had to laugh for a moment. "When has that ever stopped you from getting to the Girl's dorm. Just go in their tonight and speak to Shay!" he said with a smile on his face.

"Oh come on that was a threat! Well at least the water part is!" he said with a small smile and he couldn't believe it or not but he actually got his cousin out of bed. "Glad you are getting up." he said he sat down on his own bed waiting for Sevvie to get ready. "I am not planning on blackmailing you. I was just using that to get you out of bed. Now are you ready to go where ever you want to go?" he asked him with a smile. "Besides back into bed!" he said with a smile. "And no if's or buts about it mister!" he said with a smile.

“So that means that I don’t have to have fun, which I won’t.” He’d be out of bed and he’d drink, but that was as far as it went. He won’t talk to any girls. He would ignore them all and let Eddie have them. That would make him happy. All the girls that Albus attracts over will go to Eddie. “You’ll get any girl that likes me. I won’t talk to any of them. I’ll be invisible.”

So, she requested him. That was probably her way to get him out of bed and it worked. He really wanted to work with her again. That was fun last time. It was one of the more fun nights he had. There was a lot of laughing and joking. Albus wanted to work with her all the time. “I’ll go out today and tomorrow, but after that, if I want to be in bed, you’ll let me.” He couldn’t see that happening though. “He isn’t older than me though. He’s not my boss. I’m a few months older and I have superiority over you both.”

Albus stood up. “Don’t threaten me. They don’t work, mate.” They just make him angry. He’d once landed a kid in St. Mungo’s for threatening him. “I landed a kid in St. Mungo’s for threatening me, so don’t do it.” He went over to his trunk and found a t-shirt and jeans that he could wear, completely ignoring Eddie, but he heard the last little bit of what he said. He stood straight, looking at him in the eye. “Sir, yes, sir,” he said, saluting, like a soldier. “No complaining, sir.” He threw the clothes on his bed and looked back at Eddie, still like a soldier. “This Slytherin asks that you leave, sir, so he could get dressed. This slytherin promises that if he isn’t down in five minutes, sir, you can pour ten buckets of cold water all over him, Sir.”

Eddie looked at him for a moment. "It's only fair." he said with a smile on his face "And at least you'll get some air which you definately need!" he said with a smile on his face. He had to smile though when he said that he was going to get every girl that comes his way. "Well none of those girls are Xyliana!" he said with a small smile. He just realized he just told his cousin that he, Darcy Edward Weasley, didn't want someone to know at the present moment. But then he smiled a bit. "Xyliana Scamander she's a really pretty girl for a hufflepuff." he said with a smile on his face realizing why should he care if Albus knows that he likes a Hufflepuff.

"No can do Sev. Other's really want to see you out of that bed besides me." he said with a smile on his face. "Shayleigh really would like to see you out of bed more. I know for a fact she misses you bud. Hey you know she actually gave a Slytherin a detention and there was no Professor or Heads around and guess who she gave the detention too?" he asked him giving him a small frown. "Well she gave me a detention for being out after hours when I was trying to find her to tell her that she shouldn't listen to my twin!" he said with a frown. "So tomorrow night I'll be washing the Entrance floor without magic!" he said with a small frown. "Not like I haven't done that before!" he said with a laugh.

"Yeah well the kid couldn't block well like I can!" he said with a smile on his face. "You know very well I can fight back!" he said with a smile on his face. "But if it will make you happy I won't." he said with a smile on his face. Eddie couldn't help but laugh a bit at what he said. He thought it was somewhat funny. "Captain gives you permission and that is a promise that I will follow through if you aren't down there in five minutes." he said and salutted and walked out of the room and shut the door behind him and walked down the stairs and sat on a couch waiting for Severus to come down.
