[Albus Severus Potter]

He had promised himself that he would remain calm. That he wouldn’t show how much she had hurt him. He had broken that promise. After she broke up with him, he had gone to his dorm and lost it. He had been in bed all day, blankets covering his face. Albus even had thoughts about death. He was thinking about telling his dad that he was a death eater and telling him how many people he killed, so he’d be thrown into Azkaban and then he could slowly die there, the dementors making him think of the day that he and Callista broke up because that is now his worst memory.

Around nine, he kept trying to get out of bed, but he didn’t want to. He kept falling back. Finally, he gave up trying and covered himself with the blanket again. It wasn’t right to stand Alex up, but his twin would understand that he was so depressed that he didn’t want to get out of bed. Just as he was thinking that, the dorm door flew open and the blankets were thrown off him. Albus at first thought it was Eddie come to cheer him up, but then he saw that it was actually Eddie’s twin, Jedrek, and he didn’t look too happy. “Stop acting like a baby and get out of bed. Aren’t you supposed to meet Alex?”

Albus reached for his wand, but Jed was too quick for him. One minute, he was reaching for it, the next his wand was across the room, lying on Jed’s bed. “Don’t stand Alex up, cuz.” With that, the door closed behind Jedrek. He was right. Albus shouldn’t stand him up. He got up and threw on t-shirt and jeans, grabbed his wand and left the dorm. He made it to the entrance hall in no time. Once he reached it, he sat down on the steps and that was when he realized that he had no shoes on. “Accio shoes,” he said lazily, flicking his wand. If they didn’t come, he’ll go bare foot. Albus put his chin in his hands, thinking about what he and Alex would do tonight.

Alexander paced the hall back and forth as he kept looking at his watch, Albus was about thirty minutes later and that worried Xander after everything thing he had heard about Callie dumping his twin for another, but worse a vampire but he honestly had to think if it was really Callie or was one of the vampire’s controlling her and luring her in her his own selfish reasons? Yes it was possible but he would not put that thought in his older brothers head he could tell Severus was already hurting he knew how much Sev loved that girl so much and Alex was sure that they were going to get married one day, but they were so young and maybe this was a good thing this way Albus could see what it was like not to be with just one and just maybe he will find someone that was not so dark this time, not that there was anything wrong with Callie just that she was insane in so many ways.

Xander stopped and turned only to face his brother it hurt Xander to see his twin like this he felt the heart ache he was going though. “Albus!” he said as he rushed to his side and sat down next to him wondering if he was really okay there was so many rumors flying around about Albus and Alex had so many detentions to prove it no one was going to talk bad about his brother and get away with it. The funny part was he even saw and heard Callista defending Albus from stupid jerks that were talking about him she broke a finger when she hit one guy. “How are you brother?” he asked as he watched him he was really worried about him and it was going to take all of them to get him back on his feet.

Not really sure what to say he sat there in silence before looking at his brothers feet and laughed “You forgot your shoes?” he asked as he placed his bag on the step below him and pulled at a pair of shoes and showed them to Albus “Here I think they are your size, Liberty’s mom got them for me but you can have them or borrow them” he said as he knew this was not the right time to confess to his brother that he was a run away and when Percy got close to finding him he ran to the muggle world, no he was going to stay silent on that and just be there to listen and help his twin though this.

“Brother there is more to life than a girl” he said without thinking.

The spell didn’t want to work. His shoes never came to him. Well, fine, he’d go barefoot. Albus didn’t look up at Alex when he spoke. He could see very well how he was doing. He was a mess and wanted to go on a killing spree. He wanted to murder all the happy couples out there, with the exception of Alex and Liberty. He didn’t even want to try to live without Alex around. Such bad luck that they couldn’t be in the same house. What was the hat thinking, putting him in Ravenclaw? It never even considered Ravenclaw for him, just Gryffindor. Why did he have to ask the hat to put him in Slytherin? He thought suddenly. If he’d been a Gryffindor, he and Callista would probably never have gone out.

No, think about something else. There were a ton of things that he could think about that didn’t involve her. Yet, whenever he tried, his mind went back to her. That was probably natural. He still loved her. It would probably be that way for awhile. When his brother handed him a pair of shoes, he looked up. Since his spell didn’t work, the shoes would have to due. Albus took them and put them on. They did fit him, but his shoes were more comfortable. One thing he always hated was having to break in a new pair of shoes. “Thanks, bro.” He tied them and then looked at Alex. “Where do you want to go tonight?”

More to life than a girl. Easy for him to say. His girlfriend still loved him. What would happen if Liberty broke up with him? He wasn’t even going to think about that. Even if he couldn’t be happy, at least his brother was. That was what mattered. “Easy for you to say. Your girlfriend wasn’t lying for a year. Callista loved that vampire since last year. She had lied to me for a year. That’s worse than if she had broken up with me right away.”

Alex thought about it and sighed lots have happened since Callista broke his heart but in a way, Alex was happy that the two were no longer together Albus had always seen Callie and never looked at other girls this would give his brother a chance to see that there were other girls out there ones that would love to date him. “You’re Welcome. You can have them they aren’t my color” he said in a dark tone, not really sure where to go he thought about it for a minute “Why don’t we go down to hogsmeade for some drinks?” he asked wondering if his brother really wanted to go out Alexander could tell that Albus just was not really wanting to be here.

“You know I’m not going to force you to hang out with me, I’ll understand” he said trying to sound okay with his twin bailing on him. Callista was broken hearted he heard she was toyed around with that vampire and now was single again. He had her and Kota talking about it at breakfast one morning Callie was in tears. Alexander shook his head not sure if it would be the right thing to tell Albus, “I am not defending her, but I heard the Vampire left her for another vampire. If you ask me she deserved it” he said in a dark tone. He wasn’t upset at the girl but for the sake of his twin he would act it for now.

Xander stood up and looked around “Yes I know that but you are young and I am sure there are girls our age that you like and would go out with” he said as he looked around and thought about it “There is Xyliana; Lorcan’s sister and Adyen Goyle and I know Kota’s little sister has a crush on you. Just don’t go after Callista again she doesn’t deserve you”

“Thanks, but I probably won’t wear them,” he said, looking around. There were a few people staring at him. He gave them an evil look and then looked at his brother. “Mine are still good unless if I decide to destroy them, which is always possible right now.” Albus wanted to destroy everything in site, except those that he counted on. He didn’t want to hurt them. “Yeah, that’s fine. You’re okay with carrying me back to school when I get drunk right?”

“No, it’s fine, Alex. I’ll go.” Albus could use a drink. Well, actually, he could use more than one. He could use about twenty… thirty…. forty… perhaps even more. By then he’ll probably succumb to alcohol poisoning and he could die a sad and lonely man instead of living as one. And if Callie liked vampires more than humans, maybe someone could turn him into a vampire and then he’d have a chance with her. Albus looked up, shocked, as Xander spoke. “She just broke up with me today. Are you serious? I knew it was a mistake. Maybe if she likes vampires more than humans, I could become one. There’s a teacher here that’s a vampire. Actually, I think there are two.”

“Eddie likes Xyliana and Bella is too young for me. As for Ayden, she’d never wanna go out with me.” There weren’t girls that would want to go out with him. Albus knew that they went for other guys, guys that weren’t anything like him. “I’ll probably become like Athena Zabini, a puppy dog that follows her around.” He shook his head. “She was the only one willing to go out with me. Nobody else will.”

Alexander nodded “Just toss them out when you are done with them than I don’t want them” he stated as he yawned and listened to his brother. It’s not that Albus was boring him; Alex just had not been sleeping well since he learned of his sisters activities. Laughing and then smirking at his brother he nodded. “Of course I’ll carry you back” he said in an honest tone it was true he would do anything for his brother. Albus was the most important person in his life even before Liberty, Albus always came first.

Xander nodded and as he listened to his brother say that he wanted to go that made Alex smile to hear that his twin wanted to spend some time with him. He was so upset at his brother for disappearing last year on him. Though Alex did the same this summer but his twin didn’t even look for him true that Xander didn’t want to be found but we hadn’t his brother worried about him? Shaking his head he listened to his brother, “Didn’t you hear me Tristan left her for another vampire, Callista is confused more than ever so don’t you dare get yourself turned into one!” he almost yelled the last thing he needed was his twin brother dying and becoming a member of the undead at this school.

“You don’t know that you idiot! Look around you and forget about Callie for one second!” he knew he was being harsh and he was speaking harsh about Scor’s little sister but at this minute he didn’t care at this minute he only cared about his brother, what did he have to do to get his brother too see that there was more girls out there then just little Callista Malfoy. “You have to give the girls a chance”
