Alexander walked down the street towards his girlfriend’s house, he was not feeling well and had nowhere else to go he couldn’t go home because he refused to live by his father’s rules or the fact that his father wanted him in the DA. Alexander didn’t even have a side he was not loyal to anyone but his girlfriend and his twin brother. Shaking from being in wet clothes he knew that he could not last another day out on the streets he was hungry, sick, cold and missed Liberty. Finally he was there the Baddock Residence and his last hope. Sighing he stopped in mid step as he started to re think this, what if she was mad at him for not coming sooner? What if she had forgotten about him. It was really his fault for not contracting her but his owl was in a cage at home.
His father would not let him have her if he was not going to be under his roof and living by his world. Alex was so confused he loved his family but why couldn’t he be able to believe in what he wanted to? Why did he have to follow in his father’s footsteps wasn’t that what James was for? He hated how his father put so much pressure of Albus and himself it was so weird James was the oldest Harry should be all of him to be more like Harry, but he was more dead set on Alex and Albus being mini-me’s and be the hero that saves the day.
Alex missed Albus it had been three months since he saw his twin that was the longest the two had been apart he really needed to find Albus he needed his brother. Giving in he walked up the door and knocked as he dropped to his knees. He was so tired and so worn out he got not stand anymore. “Liberty please be home” he whispered as he leaned against the door pressing his forehead to the wood.

Who knew that a big house could be so peaceful when there wasn’t anyone home? Liberty kicked her feet up on the coffee table as she relaxed on the sofa. When her parents were there, her feet weren’t allowed on the tables. She found that odd because it wasn’t like they did any of the house work. It all fell to the house elves. You’d think her parents would want to dirty the place up to give them more work. Liberty put her hands behind her head and sighed contentedly. This was the life.
No, actually, the life would be when she didn’t have to live here anymore. Her parents didn’t like that she was in Hufflepuff and when she had showed pride for being in that house, her dad had taken her out of school. She couldn’t really remember what happened during that time, but when she was allowed back to school, she didn’t like being in the house. Liberty was positive her dad did something to her, but she didn’t know what and couldn’t do anything about it. Yet, her brother was a Ravenclaw and oddly enough, her dad didn’t take him out of school in his first year. At least not that she could remember.
The life would be when she was able to get a place with Alex and have children with him. They were only sixth years, but it was something they could think about now. Nothing would be able to break them up. Well, she didn’t think so. Of course, she hadn’t spoken to him in awhile. Maybe he had already broken up with her and just didn’t tell her. Well, if that was the case, Liberty would blame it on her father. The man despised Potters and hated the idea that his daughter was dating one. They may not be like their father, but her dad saw them as little Harry Potters, probably because they looked so much like him.
When Liberty heard a knock on the door, she jumped up. She wasn’t expecting anyone, but it might be Alex, coming to surprise her. Everytime there was a knock on the door, she jumped up, wanting it to be Alex. It never was and she would go back to whatever she was doing, upset. Liberty gave her hopes up and always was disappointed, but she never stopped wishing and praying. One day, Alex was bound to come knocking on the door and sweep her off her feet. She grinned at the thought.
That grin faded when she opened the door and saw her boyfriend on his knees. He didn’t look to good and Liberty wondered what happened to him. “Alex!” she exclaimed, helping him to his feet. “Come in. It looks like you could use a snack or something.” She wrapped one arm around his waist and the other one was holding his arm around her shoulders and she awkwardly helped him into the kitchen. “Get him something to eat,” she ordered the house elves when she in the kitchen. Liberty set him down in a chair. “So, what have you been up to?”

Alex let her help him into the house and into the kitchen and into a chair before he leaned against the counter and put his head down, food? That sounded so well the last time he ate was two weeks ago when he was called to the Potter residence to have a talk with his father. “Food and a shower” he finally got out as he looked at her with tired eyes, he missed her so much and was feeling better just being around her. Weakly moving he took her hand in his and kissed it before resting his head once again on the counter.
“Liberty I’m sorry I haven’t been around right after school I took off and have been on the streets in and out of the wizarding world.” He said as if he was confessing his sins to her, his love for her had grown so much stronger he had missed her so much and knew that he could not stay away any longer. He was going to ask her to marry him soon and he would not take anyone stopping him from being with her and having a family. “I’m sorry I didn’t come to you sooner I was lost and stupid not even Albus knew where I was not even our cousin Percy found me. I don’t want to leave you alone anymore I want to take you away from this house and get one of our own one day” he said honestly and in a loving tone.
When the house elf came to him with some food he sat up and at first stared at it blankly not really sure if he could eat almost scared of what would happen if he ate something, would his stomach be upset? Would he get sick? Would Albus feel his pain seeing that they were close and both seemed to be able to tell when the other was not feeling well. All this was too much part of him wished that he had sucked up his pride and gone to Percy for help right away or gone to Liberty sooner. He started to pick at the food as he looked at his beautiful girlfriend. “I can’t go back out there and I can’t go home… I don’t know what to do Liberty”

Liberty sat down next to him and watched as he leaned his head against the counter. He could take a shower next if he wanted to. She was sure that she could find clothes that will fit him, maybe her brothers had something. He’d never be able to fit in Liam’s clothes, but maybe the twins had something. “You can take a shower after you eat. My brothers should have something you can wear.”
She listened to what he said and was a little upset that he hadn’t come here sooner. She would’ve always taken him in. He shouldn’t have even considered living on the streets. She didn’t care what her siblings said. Liberty was in love with him and would always allow him to live there with her. “I would love that,” she said, softly, looking at him lovingly.
What was he to do… that was easy. She wanted him with her, so he could stay here, if he really wanted to. “Stay here. It’s better than living on the streets. Hot meals, clean clothes and we get to be together. Don’t listen to what anyone says. You’ll stay here and I won’t take no for an answer.” Liberty grinned at him, hoping that he wouldn’t even try to refuse staying with her.
