Lysander got the owl from his brother that he was to hook up for the weekend. He wasn’t sure if the man was actually going to show or if he was going to get stood up. He started to wonder if their plans and schemes were really working or if they were just a waste of time and space as it didn’t seem to be working. He felt the same way as his brother does about their parents and wanting to get them back together again but he also figured that it was not likely. He grabbed his things and decided that he should go out to meet his brother. See what kind of scheme they could come up with this time.
As he got up and finally got moving he headed off to the shower where he cleaned up, looked over his face before he shook the water out of his hair. He ran his hands through his hair as he grabbed his clothes. He dropped his things in a pile before he quickly got dressed in his casual black pants and a shirt. He grabbed his robes and his wand as he started out of the dorms while hopping ever so often to get his socks on and then his shoes. He knew that he was looking fairly good but he also had his eyes set on a girl. He heard about his brother’s sudden interest, even though it wasn’t so sudden. He was looking at the oldest wood girl Mahina. He shook her out of his head knowing that this was supposed to be some brotherly time. He swiftly headed out to meet his brother.
He headed out as he had his usual bouncy-spring to his step as he was pretty hyped about the day. He didn’t care how people watched him finding that he was pretty open and out there some times as he always seemed to be on the move with some kind of beat flowing through him. Sometimes, he had to stop and look to his brother and wonder how they could even be related as they seemed like polar opposites. He soon found himself down on Diagon Alley as he continued on his path. He stopped at the ice cream parlour to get an ice cream only to walk out of the place. He wasn’t going to remain there. He ate his ice cream, only to get that little extra sugar boost.
He finally arrived at the tea shop just as he finished his ice cream. He glanced round but didn’t see his brother. He headed into the tea shop only to grab a semi-usual table by the window. He waved off the waitress as he wanted to wait for his brother. He did figure that his brother might bug him about choosing the table by the window but for now he was going to stay where he was.

He needed to get away from it all. He was under a lot of stress for being neutral. There were slytherins that told him if he didn’t join the Gang, he and Shay shouldn’t be dating. Who were they to say who should and shouldn’t be dating? He and Shayleigh were dating because they were in love. Nothing was going to change that and he certainly wasn’t going to join the Gang just because someone told him that he had to. Nobody could tell Lorcan what to do. It was one of the reasons he changed his looks. He was trying to show that he only listened to himself.
That particular day he was dressed in all black. Black T-shirt had white skull and crossbones on it and black jeans with a chain hanging from it. He had on black socks and black sneakers. He was wearing a chain around his neck. Lorcan just felt like black today. It was to match his mood. To make him happy, maybe later, after he met with Lysander, maybe he’d take Shayleigh to his favorite haunts in the muggle world. That was, if she wasn’t against the whole visiting funeral homes thing. Believe it or not, there were people like that. Lorcan would never understand why people loved weddings and not funerals. Thinking of that, he began wondering why funerals were so sad. They should be joyous. You were meant to be celebrating their life, not mourning their death. It wasn’t like it was goodbye. You could always see them again.
He jumped out of the tree and headed up to the school, where he put his hair in a spiked hair style and left again. He needed to get going to Hogsmeade. Lysander was expecting him and he didn’t want him to think that he was going to stand him up. Lorcan walked into Hogsmeade, munching on bertie botts every flavor beans that he had in his pocket. The flavors he got were the worst of them all, but he didn’t spit them out like others would. He was even able to swallow them without making a face. There was only one flavor that he was forced to spit out and that was liver. Just his luck, too, as he walked in the door and looked around for his brother, he got the flavor and stopped dead, spitting it out on the floor. “I love these things,” he exclaimed to his brother as he sat down across from him.

Lysander grinned as he saw his darkened brother walk through the doors. He could have sworn that he had gotten a little darker from the last time he’d saw him. He watched his brother spit one out onto the floor before he looked back to his brother. He laughed, “You seem to love anything that you can spit across the room.” With a careful silent debate he waved his hand to flag down the waitress. “I’ll have whatever he is having.” He said turning the attention to his brother. He smiled at his brother as he started to build a house out of sugar packs.
He waited for the waitress to leave before he glanced back to his brother. “So what’s on the agenda for this week?” he questioned. “Is it true that our dad is seeing some red-head thing?” he enquired as he knocked down what he was doing and put them all back. He looked to his brother curious as to what his answer was going to be. “If so we may need to find a way to get the two of them apart...which I’m sure wouldn’t be too hard.” He added.
After some thought he glanced to his brother, “how are things with you and Shay?” he questioned. “Did you finally tell her that you have a thing for her? Or ask her out?” he enquired. He knew that she was in the gang and probably only a matter of time, “You going to be joining the gang?” he questioned out of curiosity. “I wonder if it’s really worth being in one of those groups. But then again I you thinking about even the neutrals is a group of their own... we just don’t have any meetings or plans or secrets.” He said with a smile and a slight laugh.

Lorcan grinned mischeivously at his brother. "I can't help that I'm rude," he said, laughing. "Life wouldn't be fun if I was like you. And I only spit out bertie botts' every flavor beans if it tastes like liver." He ate another one and swallowed it without making a face. "Ear wax. That really isn't that bad." He took a handful out and put it in front of his brother. "Well, then, Brother of Mine, I sure hope you aren't hungry," he said when the waitress came. "Pa*sion tea." He grinned at his brother when the waitress left. "I sure hope you like tea with a disgusting purple color to it."
He thought about what they were going to do. It seemed that with Shay, everything was taken a back burner. That was how it was supposed to be, but it was like he was coming to terms with the divorce. That couldn't be happening. "Yeah, a young little thing, she is. She's somewhere near our age and she thinks I look cool, so we can't scare her away by using my appearance. But we can always tell her that mum and dad are getting back together. That might work." There were alot of different ways to get rid of her. They just had to find the best one. "I say we skip cla*ses for the next few weeks and work on getting rid of her."
"Yes, I'm dating Shayleigh. I've been seeing her for maybe a few weeks now. We started dating before the house unity dance. I took her on a tour around the lake. It was fun. What about you? Any girl for Lys yet?" When he asked about the gang, he shook his head. "I'm not joining anything, no matter how much pressure people put on me. I'm fine where I am. There's no reason to join anything. All you seem to do is pledge to give your life away. You have to follow rules that someone else made and I refuse to do that. I don't even follow the rules at Hogwarts." Lorcan poured two cups of tea when it came. "Enjoy."

Lysander laughed as he listened to his brother. “Rude? I think you are over looking yourself.” He said only to lose his laugh as he frowned which slowly turned to a glare at his brother. “You have no idea the fun I have in the course of a day. Life is like a ride on the freeway!” He said defensively at first but had to smirk as he continued. “Things like that brings me down.” He mumbled before he smirked again almost instantly and laughed, “Now I know what to give you for Christmas.” He looked between his brother and the waitress then back. “You think I couldn’t handle what you intake?” he questioned with a crazy smirk.
“Near our age?” he questioned with disgust. He shook his head, “There is no flippin way I’m going to accept that!” he added only to smirk. “Then I guess it falls on Puck this round!” he said as a light showed in his eyes. “You can’t scare her away but there isn’t anything saying that I couldn’t scare her away.” he added quickly. “I like the idea of skipping cla*ses for the next few weeks to be rid of her.” he looked to his brother, “We could always see there was some sort of ‘accident’ that could happen to her.”
He nodded slowly as he listened to what his brother spoke about Shayleigh. He had picked up a few things around the school when he started to glance around to see if there was anyone from the school in there other then the two of them. “I heard that Scorpius Malfoy was into her and they are pretty close.” he said as he looked back to his brother. “No, no one is interested in a guy like me.” He stated almost sounding down. “What are you going to do if it’s true and Scorpius starts coming around and hitting on Shayleigh?” he questioned. He agreed with Lorcan on joining anything around the school. He knew that his brother didn’t follow the rules and for himself, he just bent them to work for him. He took his tea and sipped on it a few times at first. “Not bad.”

Lorcan laughed at what Lysander said. "I don't think so, little Puck." He stuffed about five of them in his mouth at the same time. The different flavors didn't really go together, but he could stand it. He shook his head when Lysander got defensive about what he said. He had thought for sure that his brother could take a joke. "Hey, Punk-I mean Puck, don't you know how to take a joke? I meant no offense, I was just joking."
And they shouldn't accept it. The whole plan was to get thier parents back together, not accept who they date. "And we shouldn't. She has no right to go out with our father. She's probably just after his money." Lorcan had heard about women who go out with older men for thier money. They called them gold diggers, but he preferred the term homewrecker. It seemed like more of an insult that gold digger did. "What makes you think that you can? I think Dad's been telling her good stories about his twins." He thought about her having an 'accident.' If all else failed, they may not have a choice. "If all else failed we could do that. I'd rather not kill her as a first resort."
His mind started turning as he listened to her talk about Scorpius Malfoy. If it was true, he couldn't compete with the guy. He doubted if Shay would pick him over Malfoy. Lorcan also remembered the day that he found Albus Potter and Shay dancing in the common room. "I walked in on Albus Potter and Shay dancing in the common room. I don't think they saw me. She says that they are just friends. I'll talk to her about it." Lorcan really hoped that they were just friends. He didn't want to lose her. He took a sip of his tea and sat in thought for awhile.

Puck laughed as he listened to his brother and shook his head as his brother put five of them in his mouth. “You are strange.” He said in a low tone. He glanced around slightly before he took another sip on his tea. He was still grinning, “Yeah, I know how to take the joke, it seems to me that you are the one who is uptight.” He stated. “I know that you weren’t serious. I don’t take many thing serious.” He added. He was surprised that his brother actually thought that he was serious. “I can’t believe you thought I was serious.” He said again as he shook his head and took another mouth full of his drink.
He nodded while listening to Lorcan knowing that his 2 minute older brother was probably right about the young ‘thing’ their father was seeing. He didn’t like the idea, “if he’s dating them that young, you better keep Shay away from him.” he stated, “She’s a very pretty girl.” He added. He grinned, “Because I’m your opposite. If she liked the way you were then she’ll hate the way I am.” He stated, “Come on, think about it, my middle name is Puck after all.” He added with a slight laugh, “I’m crazy, I’m always too hyper, I’m more outgoing and expressive then you are. I’d drive her through the roof if she thinks you’re fantastic.” He said with a laugh. “Good stories? There are no good stories of us since we are almost total opposites and the one thing we are good at is plotting.” He nodded in agreeing to not killing her as a first resort was not a good idea. “We’ll keep that as plan C then.” He suggested.
He shrugged as he listened to Lorcan, “I really don’t think that’s anything.” He stated, “They’ve always been around each other and they seem like really good friends.” He added. He figured that his brother was going to take things he said to heart and problem jump out too far. “Lorcan, don’t do anything stupid.” He said, “Shay is close with those two. The last thing you want to do is come between them all and cause waves.” He stated. “She’s really into you and like I said, I overheard it. I never heard the whole conversation. It could all be a misunderstanding. I’m only telling you to be careful...just don’t go out and do anything stupid.” He finished saying when he took the last bit of his drink and swallowed it.
