Scorpius looked out the window as he leaned on the ceil from his dorm room while thinking about everything that has been going on and everything he got himself into. With his eyes draining of color he turned from the window pulled off it as he walked across his room to pick up his robes and his wand. He was blanking out his mind trying his d*mnedest to silence it as he made his way out of the rooms, through the common room and out through the castle. He knew that he had to take a chance. He knew it was time to go through a few people that he knew and was close to.
He sent out the letter to Percy knowing that he wasn’t sure who else to turn to. He knew it was a long shot. He knew that there could be questions rising from everything that he wanted to know and enquire about. He left the grounds so he could meet Percy. He already figured that he’d beat Percy to the location as he glanced around. He slipped through the shadows with ease before he stopped to lean against a wall. He figured that Percy should see him regardless of the shadowy darkness.
He started to run the series of questions in his mind. All the things he wanted to know about. All the things he needed to find out. He remained focused on the task at hand as he didn’t want his mind running wild. He wasn’t sure if he’d get the answers he is looking for but he figured that the man could know something or give him a few leads. He glanced around as he noticed most of the people didn’t even see him. He started to wonder what reaction he was going to get from Percy.

He should’ve been off already. He really didn’t like Dumbledore. He seems to be as bad as his brother. So he cleaned tables and cursed his boss under his breath. He had to go and meet Scorpius, but it looked like he was going to be a little late to that meeting. It gave him more time to think about what it was that he wanted to talk to him about and the answers that he’d give to possible questions. Percy hoped that one of those questions wouldn’t be whether he was the dark lord or not. He may trust Scorpius, but he couldn’t tell anyone the truth of that. Very few people knew the truth of that.
Working overtime didn’t guarantee more money at this place. He threw the towel on the counter, gave him a dirty look and left the pub. Jobs suck. What he wanted was a job with the Ministry and probably as an auror until he could become Minister. He would be nineteen in November, so he didn’t have too long left at this place. That was good. He hated the Hog’s Head. Percy was glad that he didn’t have to live there anymore. He decided to stop home for a bit and change out of these robes. He was more comfortable in muggle clothing.
Percy apparated into his bedroom at home, changed into a blue sweatshirt and jeans and then apparated again. He landed inside Diagon Alley, by the ice cream shoppe. As he walked towards the entrance to knockturn alley, he put his hood up. He never went into knockturn alley without a hood covering his face. Nobody up there has ever seen what he looked like. He walked with his hands in his jeans pocket towards Borgin and Burkes. Percy saw Scorpius in the shadows and walked up to him. “What’s up?”

Scorpius smirked as he glanced up to Percy, he knew that they were okay where they were due to the silence and the fact that people never noticed them. He didn’t want this to drag out any longer than it had to yet he had to be cautious about it. “Got a little held up?” he questioned before he moved a little more into the shadows. ”I have a few questions for you. Everyone else I’ve asked, I’ve ended up with nothing.” he stated in a lot but slightly darkened tone. He thought about everything that has happened before he glanced over to his acquaintance. ”Congrats on the wedding. I’ve heard through Shane that you’re going to be a parent.” he stated with a smirk. ”Have fun with that.”
He decided that there was no time like the present to just get down to what it was that he wanted. He had been cycling through everything in his mind. He needed to plan it and say it just right. Being the status of everything, he started to wonder if there really was a right and wrong way to get into this. ”Something came to my attention when I was cleaning out Draco’s studies. I was wondering, what do you know of the weasleys?” he questioned while glancing to Percy. He leaned against the brick wall, ”Do you know who killed them? Ron Weasley and his parents I mean.”
He decided that since he had Percy all the way down here and the timing wasn’t too bad, he could throw a few other things out there. ”I’ve also been wondering what happened to the Dark Lord. I haven’t heard anything from him for the gang lately. Maybe he died and someone else took over.” he said with a shrug. ”Not that it really matters anyway for the plans I have.” he added. He trusted Percy in the past and didn’t see any reason why he couldn’t trust the man now. ”I’ve trusted you in the past and I haven’t had any reason not to continue trusting you... I found a copy of it. The book of dark magic in Draco’s library. I’ve killed a few times and I secretly made a few Horcruxes” he smirked darkly through the vague light. ”I’ve surpa*sed Draco. I’ve done things he couldn’t ever bring himself to do. I have the charm with the ladies. I only have one more goal in my life. One more thing that I want to achieve to become.” he said. He only shared that with two other people, Callista and Dakota. Now he had Percy to add to that list. He knew that if anything came back to him, who’d leaked everything out.

“Dumbledore made me work overtime. Be glad that you still have another year of school left. Life after school isn’t exactly fun.” Especially when you were forced to work a job that you hated because you weren’t old enough to have a job that you wanted. It sounded like he was trying to make small talk. Percy wondered why he was doing that when he called him here for a meeting. “Thank you. And I intend to have fun with it. Being a parent will be fun.”
So that’s what this was about. He wondered why Scorpius would care who murdered Ron and his grandparents. Truthfully, he wasn’t too sure on that. He knew who killed Ginny and he planned on taking care of it, but he had no idea who killed Ron, Molly and Arthur. He was curious about the grandparents. Percy was going to talk to all of his death eaters who fought in the war and hoped that they came clean. He hated people being killed and him not knowing about it. “I’m not sure who killed them, but I will find out.”
He started talking about the dark lord and he remained quiet. He couldn’t find out that Rancer was dead and that Percy took over. He listened carefully to what was being said. He had to remember it. If Scorpius was talking about being the new dark lord, he could be a threat. “I don’t know what happened to the Dark Lord, but it sounds to me that you want to become one. Do you have plans to figure out what happened to the dark lord?” Percy wasn’t afraid. Nothing can happen to him, especially since he’s friends with Patrick Devol and the vampire promised him eternal life should he become close to death. He watched Scorpius closely, wondering what he was going to say to that.

Scorpius nodded as he listened to Percy about another year of school left. He was grateful for that but he also knew that he if he wanted to, thanks to a little extra help he pretty much knows the following year and he could probably pa*s to get out but then Callie would be upset. He chose against it. It was already going to be hard enough when he did finish School and Callie would still be left there. ”You’re welcome.” he said as he glanced away. He had to stop with the small talk.
He thought for a moment, “Well, do who killed Ginny Weasley?” he questioned. He was curious as to what Percy was thinking about him enquiring about the Weasley family deaths. He glanced down the darkened alley, “Any ideas on who might have done it?” he asked. He knew more about Ron’s death, but he wasn’t going to leak out that he knew anything about it or that he had it dealt with. He glanced back to Percy from the corners of his eyes, ”I guess if nothing else, I’ll have to get in contact with a higher friend.” he stated. He was curious how many red flags were raised by him seeking out the answers towards all of this.
Scorpius hid his smirk, leaving it on the inside as he caught the sudden compete silence Percy gave as he spoke about the Dark Lord. He picked out the caution that seemed to have suddenly come to Percy as he noticed that he was being watched closely. ”Relax, it’s not like you’re the Dark Lord.” he said in a joking manner. ”I didn’t think you’d tense so much about the Dark Lord.” he added as he reviled a devilishly dark grin. One that would be found on a crazy person who just slaughtered a dozen people and was standing in a room full of remains and blood while licking the blood from his fingers. ”And if I do?” he questioned, ”I was close to the last one and I always knew that he had my back just as I had his. So now, I’m sort of wondering what got the best of him. Yes, I do have plans to figure out what happened to the Dark Lord and to figure out who is the new Dark Lord.”

Now he was enquiring about Ginny. He would love to know what his fascination was with this. It was his family and some of them were order members anyway, so they deserved to die. Should he admit that he knew who killed Ginny? That might prove to be a mistake later on, so he wouldn’t mention it. “No, I don’t. I wasn’t even aware that she fought in the war. I thought she would disappear since she quit the Order.” Percy shrugged, glad that he was a good liar. “And before you ask, I killed my father and I killed my mother when I took Autumn away.”
He was right. He shouldn’t be so cautious. It could give away the secret and he didn’t need that. “That doesn’t mean that I can’t be cautious,” he replied, shrugging. “I know who it is and I know what happened to the other one. But as a death eater, I have to protect the new one.” Percy wondered if he should tell him what happened to the other one. “I liked him, too. The best teacher I ever had.” He made a promise that he wouldn’t tell anyone that he was dead. This could just be a way to get information for the army. After all, he had the theory that Wood was a spy for them, trying to get Scorpius and Cruento on their side. She could’ve succeeded. If that was the case, he did say too much. “Have fun with your mission.”
He started walking away, thinking about all that was being said. He had to tell Patrick about it. Master Devol would know what to do. When you lived for almost four hundred years, you became wise. Maybe he should throw Scorpius off a bit. Percy turned around and walked back to him. “You didn’t hear this from me, but he may not be human. See, you know Patrick Devol, right? Well, he’s a vampire and he’s disgusted by the guys scent. He also seems a little uneasy around him. Devol isn’t uneasy around anyone. I just find that strange, but that’s all I’m saying.” Percy hoped that would get him to look for werewolves. It should buy some time. “Is that it?”

Scorpius watched Percy from the corner of his eyes as he listened to everything that he was saying. He started to pick out that something wasn’t right but it wasn’t like he had a lot of proof. He was good at reading people but he wasn’t sure about this one. He did have to say that Percy is playing things well. However, he did have to wonder why the man who usually would know things wasn’t telling him anything. Believing he had but a few things together he decided to check, “How could you not know?” he questioned. “Besides, Harry Potter doesn’t hide the fact either and I wasn’t going to ask about your parents.” He stated. “I heard about Autumn from Shane.”
He nodded slightly, “You have a point but being over cautious could give you away.” He stated with a slight shrug while looking away from Percy. He caught that there was a new death eater. He had heard about it but he wondered who it could be. Of course, part of him wandered why he wasn’t asked or chose for anything. He brushed it off with the thought that maybe he didn’t completely surpa*s Draco as much as he thought that he had. “You have to protect the new death eater?” he asked casually. He thought for a moment when something started to dawn on him as he glanced over to Percy. He heard Percy’s have fun as the man started to walk away.
He watched Percy slightly annoyed but hid it well. “Percy, I know you well enough to know that you are with holding some information from me.” He stated strongly. He figured that since the man wasn’t willing to speak that maybe he had to call him out a little. “Or have you heard a bunch of crap going around about me and Dannielle Wood?” he questioned. “Just to let you know, the only one I know for sure fed her anything has been Cruento. I’ve spoke about my own past and all the murders I’ve done but that’s it. Yeah, Skylar mentioned Patrick Devol to me. He said that Patrick is an interesting guy and very nice. They also have a lot of the same views.” He said. He glanced to Percy with a darkened smirk. “So, I guess if the new Dark Lord won’t come to me, I may have to hunt him down if I haven’t already.” He stated. “I wonder if he knows that I’d do anything for him and I wouldn’t try to become one if I knew who it was instead I’d work for him. I’d supply anything he wanted.”

He always thought of himself as the right hand man, but he wasn't anymore. He was like any other death eater and left out of the loop more than anything. Percy knew a few things that he wasn't telling Scorpius, but not much and what he wasn't telling were stuff that he didn't think were his business. What's it to him why his family was murdered? And his aunt Ginny was being taken care of by him. "I'm taking care of the death of my aunt. Why are you taking it upon yourself to find out who murdered my family? Some of them deserved to die."
It couldn't give him away. He wasn't hiding anything. Well, okay, maybe a few things, but Scorpius wasn't a death eater and probably wouldn't be changed until he reaches the end of his schooling. There were already too many children death eaters. They didn't need anymore. And the only reason there was two was because of Malcolm changing Severus. Of course, Percy didn't have to change Eddie. When Scorpius mentioned a new death eater, he raised an eyebrow. "What makes you think there's a new death eater?" Maybe Eddie told him. He would have to have a talk with that kid. He'd told him not to tell anyone, except Sev. "You are not a death eater and therefore, aren't entitled to some of the answers that you are seeking. As for a new death eater, I'm not denying nor confirming it. Where are you getting your information from?"
He ignored the remark about Wood. He didn't trust her, didn't trust any of them. None of them have proven that they are worthy of supporting the dark lord. And he was willing to bet that some of them may even be spies for the army. Percy decided that he should give the boy some answers, though, so he stood at attnetion in front of him. "Malcolm Rancer was murdered at the beginning of the war and I took over. I finished the war and I'm now in charge. There's a reason Titus Simpson is still Minister. I have allowed him to remain in that post, despite what others may think." Percy paused for a moment and straightened up. "I'm not the dark lord anymore. I gave it up for Annie. I didn't want her to have to worry about me." He knew Patrick could take care of himself, so he would continue with what he did. "I gave it to Patrick, but I don't know if he still has it. Since giving it up, I'm pretty much out of the loop. If you are so serious about finding out who it is, talk to him because I can't help you anymore, Scorpius."

Scorpius nodded slightly as he listened almost with boredom. He watched Percy carefully and took in the question. He had to think about how to answer that question. He did agree that some of them did deserve to die. However, he did realize that the man did know something and he did expect the questions and the difficulty since he’s a Malfoy and he’s looking around the Weasley-Potter families. He took in a deep breath and held it for a moment as he continued to think on how to answer that question. He released it slowly when he looked back to Percy, “I was requested to look into the murders of the family. Being that I had no other choice that’s what I’m trying to do. I do agree that some of them deserved to die.”
He smirked and he shook his head as he caught the question and the raised eyebrow. “You just told me and confirmed that there was a new death eater.” He stated almost annoyed. “Maybe, I should get you all confused and talking in circles and you’ll tell me everything I want to know.” He said before a darkness fell over him as he glared at Percy, “Most of my information comes from either you or your wife, but then again I’m not going to tell you all my resources of how I get information. It’s clear that you don’t trust me!” he said almost pissed off but he was trying to control it. “Typical! I’ve done more and I get over looked!” he shrugged, “Doesn’t matter, in a few days I’ll be seventeen! I’m going to challenge Hogwarts and the final exams and leave school.” He said just as annoyed and pissed off.
He smirked, “I already knew who the Dark Lord was.” He stated with a shrug, “I just wanted to know if you would tell me or continue to keep me in the dark over the whole situation. Just like you have with everything else! You have been a horrible Dark Lord in keeping me out!” he glared at Percy, “You know, it almost makes me think that you not only distrust me but you believe that I am not as worthy as some of the others. I have more points racked up then you’ll ever know! I was told to be nice. Lets see how long that’ll last.” A devilish smirk unfolded from his lips, “I want the position.” He stated, “Patrick and Skylar get along. But I want the position. You just said that you are still the Dark Lord. You haven’t learned to watch how you speak as you haven’t given it to Patrick just yet.” He added. “I’ll take it off your hands. You and your wife are safe, anything that could possibly lead anything to you will be reverted. It would be like you were never in anything dark so you can raise your twins in peace and you’re family will always have protection.”
