[Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy]

Scorpius was planning the perfect escape from the wizarding community into London so he could go see Dannie. What he didn’t want was everyone around him and a*sociated with him to know. He knew that he’d have to be cautious since he had a pretty good idea that he would be followed. He did know that he had to see the mother of his child. Dakota. He had something that he had to address. He figured it might all blow up in his face but at the same time he wasn’t going to take any chances.

He knew that Callie was safe and sound as Aidan took her out for the day. He knew that everyone was away from the manor so it was just going to be Dakota, Luke and the dogs. He found it perfect to talk to her. The boy could play with the dogs and he’d have his chance with Kota. He made a quick snack for Luke and one for Kota and took up some juice for both of them. He walked into Luke’s room and placed the snack on the little table with the juice before he turned to Kota and handed her the other snack. “I figured you’d be getting a little hungry.” He stated. “I have to talk to you.” He said. He never did get Kota’s opinion on Dannie. He was curious about it but at the same time, he didn’t know if right now would be such a great idea with it.

He thought for a moment when he had a plan. “So, what did you think of Dannie?” he questioned right away as he walked over to Kota and leaned against the desk. He knew how to tie it all in but he wanted to know what she thought and how she felt. He did have to admit that he did care Kota a lot and he did find her attractive but he also knew to keep the comments to himself as he didn’t want to play with her heart as he was still trying to figure things out with Dannie.

Dakota took the snack and placed it on the table on the side of her she wasn’t hungry in fact she hasn’t been eating much and staying to herself a lot more now, not many of her friends were her friends anymore now that she was no longer the Slytherin Princess and at Scorpius’s side anymore. Kota was not used to having Scorpius as a friend and a few times she almost slipped up during the night and went to his door and not hers; but luckily she is a really quiet person and he didn’t hear her. Kota just didn’t understand they had a great relationship before Dannie was there for him and she wasn’t but that was not Kota’s fault Scorpius pushed her again every time she tried to get near him to help. All of this was so confusing to her but none of it matter because they were over with and the only thing that was keeping Scor around her was their son.

“Talk to me? What I do this time? I did all my homework and I am not babying him anymore. I was just in here changing him” she said suddenly. Kota was trying so hard not to do anything that Scor didn’t like but sometimes it was so hard not to get attached to their son he was all she had and he still was at an age that needed her around, and as if her heart stopped and went cold she stared at him as he asked her what she thought of Dannie. Dannie? Dannie was a nice girl but Dakota didn’t feel as if she was the right for him and she was not just thinking that because she wanted him back she really thought that Dannie was too nice and those where the people that you shouldn’t trust. “She is alright” she said softly as she poured the juice in a sippy cup and handed it to her son before smiling to Scor and started to walk out of the room.

As she walked into the hallway she picked up Luke’s toys on the way out and tossed them into the toy box in the wall, this boy was so spoiled by his father they had to put about six toy boxes around the house just to store them all in. Turning she looked at Scor “ I don’t trust her my mother always taught me that some one that acted that nice and sweet should not be trusted, but if you want to risk it go ahead, but she is not to be around our son alone”

Scorpius watched kota carefully as he noticed that she was looking down, different, and she didn’t seem as herself. He shook his head as he didn’t understand why she was letting it happen. “Kota, why aren’t you eating?” he questioned. He kept an eye on her. He knew many things but he also figured that she over looked it all thinking maybe even believing that he didn’t as he didn’t speak or question anything. He knew though he couldn’t let it go on. He knew that something was wrong and just letting it go by and watching her with some hope wasn’t going to work this time. “You’re locking yourself away not coming around anymore, you’re not eating, you are drowning yourself in taking care of our son when you don’t need to be that I can take him a lot more than you think.” He added. “Kota, what is going on?” he questioned.

“Why do you think you are in trouble?” he questioned. “I wanted to ask about your homework but you’re not in any trouble.” He said. He shook his head for a moment, “Kota, be yourself! You haven’t been yourself in a while. What’s going on with that?” he questioned. “I also wanted to talk to you about Cruento. I’m not really sure on what to do. I know a lot of the sh*t that is going around the school. I know that he is blabbing things around that shouldn’t be. I know that Callie like’s him but I am looking at killing him.” he stated. He walked over moved Kota out of the way as he finished with luke and picked the boy up. “how are you today?” he asked Luke before he flipped the boy over and placed him up on his shoulders. “She’s alright?” he questioned as he picked up the sippy cup in his free hand and held luke with his other while he followed Kota. “What do you mean by that?” he questioned.

He watched Kota walk around cleaning up all the toys. He glanced around at a few of the toys and partially messy play room for Luke. He smirked, “I’m going to take Luke to the toy store later. There was this neat little toy at the store that Luke was interested in when we went past the window.” He said. The smirk faded as Dannie came back up into the conversation. He raised the sippy cup up to Luke. “I’m not so sure things will work out between her and I...” he said.

Kota’s attention went to Scor as she heard his question “I am eating” she said softly as she picked up more toys. ”Why is he asking this? she asked herself as she started to tense and panic but tried to hide it, she didn’t need him getting worried about her not now. As he continued talking thoughts were racing in her head some were about Miles and Anna and others were about Kai and School and the most important were the ones about Luke and the fear that he would leave her at the year of twelve just like her little sister did. “Nothing is going on Scorpius you are just paranoid” she said with a laugh as she recovered from her thoughts. Of course she was lying everything was wrong her life, her dreams, and her family were crashing down and disappearing part of her was thinking that there was no point in going on. “I am not locking myself away you told me to study and work on my grades so I am” she answered as she continued to clean.

“My homework is well…I’m behind” she said honestly, truth was she was skipping out of school altogether she just didn’t want anyone to see her like this, it killed her for even showing it to Scor. ”Be myself? I am I’m just…I want to scream to throw things to cry to have peace in my head..I want Kai back…all things that are not possible” She looked up at Crew’s name and sighed “Who would have thought that he was the traitor. I thought it would be a hufflepuff or someone like that” she said softly in a hurt tone that her friend was the traitor and was going to have to pay. “I just mean that she is alright I don’t believe she is the traitor and I do think she really likes you. I had the same look in my eyes when I fell for you” she looked down she still had that loving look in her eyes when she was him.

“More toys? Sometimes I think you buy them just so you can play with them yourself” she said jokingly and with a laugh turning she looked at Scorpius and smiled “You are a great father and I know that Luke will be safe with you. Hey Scorpius can you do me a favor? If anything matters to me will you watch over Miles, Anna and Kai?”

Scorpius watched Kota and could tell that she was trying to hide her panic. He knew that he struck something with her. He smirked only to shake his head. “I’m not paranoid.” He said. “I’m just calling what I see. Yeah, I asked to you study and work on getting back up in your grades, but Kota, there is a limit of that and locking yourself away which is unhealthy.” He stated. “And I’ve been watching you more than you think Kota. Even Callie picked it out but she asked me to speak to you about this before it gets out of hand... and I know that you are not being honest with me so why don’t you drop the act and just talk to me?” he questioned.

“You’re behind?” he questioned as he walked over to her. “Could it be that you haven’t been in cla*ses lately?” He looked at her and smirked, “When are people going to learn I do find out everything?” he asked in a very low tone unsure if she heard him. He smirked, “Kota, what’s going on? What has you like this?” he questioned.

Going back on to the topic of Crew, he nodded, “Yeah, truthfully, I didn’t even think that Crew would do that for all the things that he had my back on. But then again Crew was always one for talking.” He said with a shrug. “I just didn’t think he’d slip up with that.” he added. He smiled faintly when Kota talked about Dannie and liking him and how she looked and felt when she first fell for him. “Kota, you still look to me with those eyes.” he said softly but looked towards Luke. His mind started to run with the precious moments he shared with Kota. He glanced to her a few times as he quickly put them out of his mind knowing they will not help him right now.

Scorpius looked to Kota and started to laugh at the idea. “I don’t buy them for me, I do buy them so Luke and I can play though.” He added. “Besides, you do the same.” He said before he looked to Kota. “Kota, you know that I’ll always look out for Miles, Anna and Kai.” He said looking to her with concern. “What are you planning Kota?”

“What am I planning?” she repeated him as she turned to look at him, “I am planning to walk in that room and lock the door and never come back out” she said as she turned again and started to clean up Luke’s play room. “And for your information I do know that you know everything and if you must know I’m not going to cla*s because our stupid friends not Skylar and his clan can’t seem to watch Luke when they say they will, the last time I left him with one of them I got him back with a black and blue on his arm!” she said softly as the room started to spin.

“Kai, Anna and Miles have me like this; Luke has me like this and you’re unborn kid as me like this!” she said as she place a hand on her head as the room still was spinning. “Watching you flirt with other girls as me like this, Scor I love you so much and I thought I could hide it so that you could go off and see what you could do with Dannie; but I…” Kota couldn’t do this anymore she was tired and lonely and because of one night on bliss and them both being wasted she was pregnant again. Kota just knew that someone was going to say she planned it to get him back; but even without this kid she would still love him with all his heart and she would still be dying inside that he didn’t want her anymore.

“I try not to look at you like that I know you have feelings for Dannie, I respect that” she said looking down say she continued to pick up the toys. Kota could not handle rejection again her heart just could not take much more of anything lately.

Scorpius blinked for a moment as she repeated his questioned. He looked at her when she looked at him and said what she had to say, “Come on Kota. You don’t need to go in the room and lock yourself away from the world.” He told her then watched as she went back to cleaning up the room. “We do have house elves to do that you know.” He said, “Go take a break I’ll take Luke to the park.” He stated. “The black and blue on his arm wasn’t from them watching him. I had some spare time so I took him off their hands for a bit. He fell. It was nothing major.” He explained. “They are doing fine with him and Skylar and his clan offered to take him off your hands every day so you can finish your cla*ses. I think it’s about time that you leave that up to me and the clan.” He stated, “We can juggle it around and make it work so you can focus more on your cla*ses and get completely caught up.” He set Luke down and walked over to her only to pick her up and move her to a chair to sit down.

“Yeah about that, care to fully explain that to me now? Like when?” he questioned. “Luke is fine to take care of... I’m meeting up with Kai, Anna, and Miles so you can unstress from those three. I’ll straighten a few things out.” He said before he took a seat on the toy box beside her. He looked away from her as she started to speak about flirting with other girls. He looked at his hands as he listened to her. He wasn’t sure what to say or how to deal with what she was saying. He glanced to her when she stopped speaking, “but you?” he questioned as he wanted to hear everything she said before he would even try to speak on it. He knew that she loved him. He knew that deep down he loved her still and maybe even with the same pa*sion she had towards him. He also knew that he just wasn’t ready. Not yet. But he knew that as she spoke about her love towards him and he could feel her longing for him, he could feel it deep inside warm his heart and yearn for her right back. He just couldn’t bring it back up. Not yet.

“I do...but there is no way.” He said, “You might respect that and allow me to try and find my own path and way in this world but I’ll always be limited. I’ve been forbidden to see Dannielle however as the gang leader and her being a gang member I still have to a*sociate with her.” he stated as he looked back to Kota.

She looked at him as he said she didn’t have to clean and she sighed. What was next now she wasn’t allowed to read? Dakota had to do something to keep her mind on other things other than the ones that were really causing her lots of pain. “Take a break? If I take a break I’ll… forget it alright I’ll take a break” she said before she stopped and looked at him. “I know Skylar and everyone take good care of him but without him around I am alone. Callista is always out with people from school, you are studying and out with your friends I just only have Luke for company and now you are saying no to that!” she yelled as she looked back at Luke and sighed before walking in the hall and pulling Scor out behind her before closing the door behind them. Dakota was never one to fight in front of her son. When he picked her up and moved her to a chair she blinked and tried to hide the deep red color that her cheeks had turned too she missed his touch so much looking up at him she found it hard to talk.

“The night that we went out with the clan before most of them left. You were really wasted and I was a little drunk too and one thing lead to another and here we are with a second child on the way” she said softly “But I would do anything and I mean anything to get you back and for you to see that we are meant to be together, I am not asking for you to marry me I am just asking you to love me again” she said as she looked down. It was so true she would even kill to have him hold her again.

“SHE IS A DISGUSTING HALF BLOODED WIMP!” She finally lost it as she looked at him “Why is a Half blood better than me? I am still me I am just under a lot you used there for me and stand by me in times like this but now you are more worried about her” Her eyes were black as she stared at him. Her fire was back and she was ready to fight if it lead to that.
