Scorpius felt bad for how he spoke and treated Dannie before he left. He did care for her a lot. He was really taken by her; really into her. He didn’t ever trust anyone as easily as he did with her and he wouldn’t ever try to set out to show anyone how sadistic and masochistic let alone tell anyone all the things he has done. He knew that Dannie was someone special as she just got up and under his skin. He felt that he could really open to her, talk to her, just like he does with his sister. He knew that the relationship was probably done with. With how he treated her before he left, he knew that he basically ended it right there. He had Callie in his sights and started to pick up his pace. He didn’t care to run but he was pretty use to it with his sister.

He followed Callie into the castle and through the halls and the stairs to the Slytherin common room where he was able to catch up to her. “Callista!” he said strongly using her full name instead of any nick names. He knew that it was partially his fault for springing it on Callie but he also knew there was no other way to bring Dannie forward. “Callie, Im sorry” he said. “Callie, stop please.” He said before he walked over to her and took hold of her. He looked into her eyes so he could see how sorry he was. “I know I shouldn’t have brought this forward the way I did and I know that and I get that. I wanted you to met her I wanted you to give me your opinion of her before I asked her to be my girlfriend. But Im not going to with you walking away from me!” he said.

He released his sister before he walked across the room only to return to her with tissue. He started to wipe the tears from her cheeks. “d*mn, Callie. You are the most important person in my life. I knew most of the stuff that was going on in your life but I figured that you’d be alright for a small meeting with her. I didn’t think that you’d throw all that out at her. I never even told her about any of that.” he said. He looked into Callie's eyes as he didnt know what else to say or do. He could live his life without Dannie; hell he'd have no regrets even. But he couldn't live his life without his sister, Callie.

He ran everything through his mind once more as he had no idea what to do. He knew where he could have made things right or better but at the same time he didn't think that Callie would have allowed Dannie to get to her. He just didn't know how to tell her that. He did know that right now would not be the right time.

Callista stopped suddenly as she heard him address her with her full name it scared her for a long time as the only time he called her that was when she was in trouble and she didn’t need to be in trouble right now and why was she the one in trouble? He did this he knew she didn’t like surprises. This was not her fault and she did the right thing and she knew it. On top of everything how could Crew say all that about her? After everything that she had done for him and been there for him when no one else would? Callista was starting to feel as if her life was spinning out of control and she was losing everything she held dear. “YOU WANTED ME TO MEET HER! YOU WANTED MY OPINION! NEXT TIME SAY THAT DON’T SURPRISE ME” she yelled as she looked him in eyes and started to feel bad for yelling at him. Quickly looking at the ground and hugging him tightly “I’m sorry I should not have yelled at you. Please forgive me” she said in her sweet and soft loving tone.

Callista took her brother’s hand and walked over to the couch as she started a fire with her wand in the fire place and sighed. “Sorry you caught me off guard and things are just spinning out of control and I was semi alright until she stated that she was jealous of me no one should be Scor. No one should wish they were me it’s no picnic” she said as she leaned and rested next to him on the couch. She was sorry that she acted so childish now more than ever and started to wish she had been stronger so that she didn’t break so easily but maybe now Dannie would see that Callista was human and had a heart even though most people in this school would say she didn’t.

Looking up she moved so she could look at Scorpius “I don’t know what is going on with me normally her words would not have gotten to me, but no one should wish to be me or want my life or be jealous of me Scorpius no one knows that deep down things are not all that great in my life. I get sick so easily and House elves attack me and if I am too stressed or panicked or a bee stings me I could be dead in minutes. That is all stressful in its self” she didn’t know what to do all of that was stopping her from trying to have a life she was starting to get scared to do anything. “Scorpius I am not going to leave you so everything is okay I promise. I over reacted to her I’ll give her another shot but this time on my time not hers and not yours but mine. Okay?”

Scorpius looked at his sister as she suddenly stopped only to turn to him and start yelling at him. He had to admit that he was slightly surprised at her for yelling at him. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do or say at that very moment as he was slowly gathering his thoughts. He knew that he was in the wrong to just spring things on her. “Just one thing, I don’t know why.” He said as he watched her come towards him. He looked down at her as she hugged him. He put one arm around her before he moved his hand from her back to her shoulder while he placed his other on her other shoulder. Keeping her in one spot he took a step back from her. He looked into her eyes, “If you remember I did inform you that I will be bringing her around at some point! But I also know you well enough to know that if you knew the day and the time that you wouldn’t show up!” he stated. He shook his head for a moment, “If you want to yell at me yell. At least it’s something from you.” He said in a lower tone. He looked to Callie, “Why?” he questioned. “I know everything that was going on... but I want to know why? Other than everything that is going on in your life, other than the fact that you don’t trust her, other than everyone getting weird vibes from her thinking and believing that she is a spy for the DA.” He said almost demanding. “I want to hear the truth. The truth from you! Why? Why are you doing this? Why is this even going on?” he questioned as he looked into her eyes. He wanted the truth. He wasn’t going to settle for anything less.

He allowed her to take him over to the couch where he sat with her on the couch. He made himself comfortable as he looked to Callie again. He couldn’t help but smile as he said her life was no picnic. “Neither is mine.” He added in a low tone. He put his arm around her and held her close to him as she moved against him. “I have put all my trust in you, Callie.” he said as he leaned back. “I promised you that I wouldn’t ever leave you. I explained how you are always the number one person in my life. Above all.” He stated. “I’ve tried to hard... I’ve only gotten so far and it almost feels like in the end nothing ever matters.” He explained as he looked to the fire, almost being sucked in and hypnotized by the dancing flames. “I pushed as far as I can go... I don’t know what you are expecting from me...” he said as he glanced to her but remained sucked into the dancing flames. He knew that he wouldn’t ever leave Callie and he wouldn’t ever allow anyone to come between them. He also made it clear to people around him that Callie is the most important person to him. “I was talking to Eddie the other day and he asked me if I was ever out with Dannie on a date and you needed help if I’d go to you... Do you have any idea what I said to him?” he questioned as he turned back to her. “I’ve been saying the same thing to you over and over again. I’ve been saying to you every day for years. I have built my name for you to use it to make others afraid; I’ve built everything around you from the safety of my room plus yours to certain portions of the house until I had it redone from the ground up. I’ve trained the dogs to protect and defend you. I have Chaos that is trained to gouge and attack someone to protect you... to respond to your voice. I’ve built people around you to fear if you’re not protected... I have people who watch and protect you every minute of the day and when they fail I make them pay!” he said. “I know that I can’t be with you twenty four seven... that’s why I made all those arrangements! That’s why I stayed behind! Callie, Everything I have done ever since you returned home as been done for you and your safety!” he stated before he moved her carefully so he could get up. He started to pace back and forth by the fire, “I don’t know why as I have tried so hard to make you safe, secure, protected.” He stopped to look at her before he walked back over to her and knelt down on the floor in front of her. “This won’t fall apart.” He told her.

“Callista, Everyone in Hogwarts is jealous of you!” he said in strong and stern tone. “Everyone around here sees us together! Everyone knows that no one can get close to me without going through you and Kota and everyone knows they can’t get close to you or Kota without going through me and one of you for the other! Everyone knows we are close! Everyone knows that nothing can break us or come between us! Especially, when I tell them that YOU are my number one person!” he said before he looked down at her hands. “No one knows any of that about you. I don’t tell people that all those things about you.” He said as he took her hands in his and looked up to her. “Callie, when I tell people about you, I tell them that yes you do have a dangerous side that you do know I’d do almost anything for you so long as it was a solid reason but most of all, you’re kind and sweet.” He said, “Everyone sees us having fun, always together, joking around. They don’t see what I see. They don’t know what I know. Only a few have seen and know what we go through, why I’m so close to you, why I refuse to let anyone separate us.” He told her. “I know you fear losing me... but this was nothing like any other girl I’ve been around. Why?” he shook his head, “You can do what you want about Dannie.” He told her as he allowed her to see his true crushing feelings. “I’ll be sending her an owl to clear all this up.” He said knowing that she knew what he meant.

Callista just stared at him in shock not really sure what to say the only reason she acted the way she did was because no one should be jealous of her life she wouldn’t want her greatest enemy to have to live with the nightmares and fears she has. If it wasn’t for Scorpius she probably would never have left the manor and tried to have a normal life she could have got her father to let her stay home after all, but Scor would not let her just give up. She thought about what she was going to say letting out a sigh as he asked for the truth. “Dannie threatens me she isn’t like all the other girls you have brought around she is different and I can’t handle that she is not scared of me or that she is… It is also that I can’t believe her that Crew said those things about me after all I did for him..How could he be so mean..Is she lying just to get me mad? Well it worked.” She was just letting it all out and now her brother was going to know that Callie had a thing for Crew; but boys confused her and she was scared to try so she focused her energy to ruining Dannie’s life by making Scor hate her so that Crew would be happy. When in reality Dannie was the best and nicest girl that Scor had ever brought around. Callista really didn’t have a problem with the girl well only the jealously issue but she could look past that besides she never really disliked the girl it was just an act because of two people. One was Kota because she knew Kota was still deeply in love with her brother and the other was Crew who didn’t want to see his sister with Scor; and she thought that if she could get that to end that Crew might see her more boy was she wrong deathly wrong and she could tell that Scor knew that the way she acted was not her.

“Why do people think that being a Malfoy is like a ride in the park?” she asked as she stared at the fire at first before she looked at her brother. “So my opinion of Dannie without others thoughts in my head is that she is a great girl and honestly even though I didn’t like it any girl that can stand up to me is a good person for you to be with she is brave and strong and I am sure she will be a great girl for you. Well if you can get her to stop protecting those DA members that is” she said honestly as she went back to looking at the fire. Callista looked at the ground starting to feel really bad for her actions nervously looking at the ground she shook her head and suddenly looked up at him with tears in her eyes. “I’m sorry…I know all that and I know you would never leave me and I know you can handle having a girl in your life and also still hang out with me it was just I know Kota still loves you even though she says she is over you and I know that Crew wanted you to stay away from Dannie so I thought that maybe Crew would see me more if I got Dannie away from you I know I was wrong and I am truly sorry please forgive me. Fear and wanting a guys attention just…got to me and with my mind spinning out of control I was just so….I don’t know how to charm like you do” she said looking back at the ground.

“But no one should be jealous of me all I am is a selfish little brat that would do anything to get her own way” she said still looking at the ground she was at her breaking point and started to beat herself up for being so stupid tonight. “No one will come between us and I won’t come between you and Dannie again I am sorry” she said finally looking up so that Scorpius could read all of it in her eyes. “Dannie is a nice girl and I promise when things are a little less hetic in my life I will attempt to fix this and try to be her friend for you Scorpius, maybe then people will stop calling her names and thinking she is out to hurt you” she said as she hugged her brother “Forgive me?” she asked with a pout and a look that could melt the hardest of mans hearts.

“Scorpius am I going to die from the fact that my heart is weaker?” That was another reason she feared that someone was going to steal him away from her if she was going to die from this she didn’t want to go without seeing him there, her health had been going downhill for a while now and that scared her to almost not wanting to go anywhere again like when she was a child. “I also miss mom..”

Scorpius knew Callie, sometimes he figured that he knew her better than himself-even better then she knew herself some times. Those moments crept him out a few times but he hid it well. He knew that it wasn’t easy but somehow he just shocked his sister. From her long silence, he could pick out that she didn’t know what to say. He was partially relieved about that as he knew that she would break down to him and tell him the truth. She would tell him what he wanted to know. He looked to with the same kindness and lovingness that he always had towards Callie. He knew that he, himself was different when it was just him and his sister. A side of him only came out when it was just the two of them. “How, does she threaten you?” he questioned calmly as he moved up onto the couch beside her allowing her to choose the distance. “Or that she is?” he asked as he noticed that she stopped that thought only to continue elsewhere. He was paying extra attention to her through this conversation. He was going to go over it finely and nothing was going to slip through the cracks. “I figured Cruento was up to no good. I’ll deal with Cruento. I’m sure he did that because he didn’t want me to be around his sister. He believes that I will end up hurting Dannielle or I’ll seduce her and then his sister is running around pregnant like Dakota was. He probably targeted you on this since nothing else worked with that girl. She’s very stubborn when she puts her mind to something.” He smiled faintly, “She reminds me of you. I’ve noticed many things she’s very much like you and she is very different from the other girls I’ve been around, dated, fooled with.” He explained. He stopped talking when he realized that he was just talking about Dannie and he was pretty sure Callie was going to pick up on his emotions along with the tone if not the smile and the slight light to his eyes. He knew that he didn’t show any of that to anyone else and the only one that has saw that on him has been Callie. He thought for a moment when he sort of picked out that she might have something towards Cruento as she spoke about him. He chose to brush it off for now as it was not relevant. “Callie, I could pick out right away that wasn’t you which is why I called you out. I also know that you had to have reasons for what you did.” He paused for a moment, “When I first came to you and told you that I was going to ask Dakota out you lashed out. I expected that. I guess maybe you know that it was something that wasn’t going to end right away. I’ve gone out with a lot of the girls and I never bothered to tell you or bring them around because they weren’t anything. Dakota I told you about. Dannielle I told you about and so far this lash out stands out since I pretty well told Dannie we’re through.” He said allowing his sister to pick out the pain in his voice over them being through. “Callie, you told me your reasons for Dakota. Now tell me your reasons for Dannielle.” He had an idea but he wanted to hear it from her.

“Because we make it look like a ride in the park. Because no one actually knows what it means or what it takes to be a Malfoy unless you’re born into this family.” He said as he looked to her. He listened to what she said about Dannie and he had to smile. He found out what his sister really thought about Dannie. He chuckled, “Yeah, I’ll have to see about that. But with everything that has happened between Dannielle and I, I don’t think she will give me the time of day.” He stated. He followed her gaze to the fire, “So you think she’s a great girl?” he questioned with a slight smirk. “I was actually honestly surprised that she stood up to you. I didn’t think she actually had it in her...and I didn’t think you’d let her get to you.” He said as he turned back to Callie. He could see that she was starting to feel really bad. His heart sank as she started to cry when she said she was sorry. He knew about Kota and he knew there were moments where he just wanted to go to her but he also knew better than to play with someone’s heart. What he didn’t fully know was how Callie felt about Crew or that he and her feelings had anything to do with this. He got his reasons. “I knew about Dakota.” He said in a lighter tone, “Honestly, I do still love Dakota. There are many times around the manor when it just feels right and I should be with her...it’s partially why I keep my distance from Dakota.” He told her. “What I didn’t really know is that you’re feelings for Crew was involved in all of this. It’s like a conspiracy against Dannielle and I.” He said with a slight smile. His smile faded as he continued to listen to Callie break down over the issue. He moved closer to her and hugged her tightly, resting his head over hers. “Callie, Sweetness... you don’t need that fear when it comes to me. No one can steal my heart and come between us.” He whispered to her. “As for wanting a guy’s attention... I don’t think I could fulfill that role.” He added. “As for charming the girls it’s all about confidence, knowing how to read a girl. Guys like to be charmed by the ladies but all in a different manner. A guy looks to a girl to see how approachable they are.”

“You’re not a selfish little brat.” He said tenderly as he smirked at her, “You will do anything to get your own way. However, you don’t need to try. All you have to do is ask.” He stated as he hugged her tightly once more. He looked into her eyes and he knew that she was sorry but he also saw more than that. He kissed his hand and touched her cheek. “We will both see to the name calling coming to an end. I’ll figure out what to do with Dannie and I still think that you, Dannie, myself and Luke should go to Dolphin park if Dannie will accept the offer.” He said. “Callie, you know I will always forgive you but you also know that I will talk to you about the situation.” He smirked as he placed his hand on her head and messed up her hair. “You’re a good girl Callie. People just don’t see it because we don’t let them.”

“When something is weak you work at it slowly in order to make it stronger.” He said. “It will only grow weaker if you don’t work with it... nothing is going to happen to you and nothing is going to separate us. We will be turned before anything happens. And as for mom, well, I tracked down Draco so I’m pretty sure I can track down mom.” He told her as he held onto her. He also knew that his next step is to write to Dannie.
