Maybe Hugo had a death wish. Sure, he liked someone, but even that wasn’t as great as it used to be. He still had Rose and he was glad of that, but everyone else in the family seemed very distant to him. Ever since the war, they were different, thanks to all the deaths that had happened in their family. It seemed that their whole family had been targeted this time and they managed to wipe out enough of them. He really wished that some of his cousins hadn’t turned evil. He would have more than just Rosie to talk to.
He rolled over in a bed in a white room. He couldn’t remember getting there, but he was obviously at St. Mungo’s. He knew what had happened though. He had dared to question a known death eater about the death of his family. Hugo was attacked and he couldn’t very well fight back. He wasn’t a fighter and wouldn’t stand up for himself no matter what. It was just that he had to figure out who killed his family, so he could get them back. How? He wasn’t sure, but he was going to.
He had lost his father, grandparents, his uncle percy, and his aunt Ginny. He had been close with his father and grandparents, especially his grandfather, whom he had taken after. All of his obsessive behavior over muggle stuff. Hugo sighed, as he pulled a pillow out from the back of his head and hugged it tightly. He always did when he was feeling upset. For the time being, he was alone, but he knew that he wouldn’t be for long. He was sure that his family would hear and would be here, especially those that are aurors. His cousin and uncle would probably care enough to show up, but who knows. His uncle Harry probably didn’t like him. Hugo got that because of how he acted when he told him that he was gay.
And then there was his mother. She probably wouldn’t show up. She was probably too busy getting drunk to care what happened to her kids. In fact, he believed that his mother didn’t even know that she still had kids. Hugo was actually hoping that she wouldn’t show up, so he didn’t have to see her. He didn’t want to see her. In fact, he would’ve moved out of his house, but Rose had convinced him to stay. Hugo put the pillow over his face and screamed into it as he heard the door open.

Bella held on to the male healer as he carried her into the room being half asleep from all the pills they gave her she was semi out of it but jumped as she heard someone screaming. The healer tightened his gripped and ensured her that everything was okay. ”Isabella your guardian will be here soon and all you need are a few more tests” he told her as he laid her in the bed on the right of Hugo and pulled the blanket over her and walked out. Bella was in shock and fought back tears this trip they didn’t allow Poppy or Jedrek to come so she was scared and alone. “Stupid Teachers and there stupid worries” She yelled as she threw a book at the wall in front of her.
Deciding to get up and look around the room she sat up in the bed and looked around remembering someone was screaming she moved the curtain and looked at the red hair and knew it was a Weasley. It must be Hugo because everyone else had darker hair. “Hugo?” she asked nicely as she stood up and moved closer to his bed. Being Jedrek’s girlfriend she always tried to be nice to all his family members knowing that one day she was going to carry the Weasley last name. Jed and herself were not death eaters and in fact didn’t support fighting at all so there was no reason to why Hugo and herself could not be friends.
“How is Liam?” she asked as she sat in a chair next to his bed. She knew why she was here but why was Hugo stuck in this hell hole of a hospital. Isabella hated hospital’s they always over reacted and did all these test but still could not give her anything to help her, she missed her father he was going to take her to a muggle doctor for pills the summer after school last year but he was killed in the war protecting her so she had yet to go there and was too scared to tell anyone else about the doctors in muggle London. She was thinking of talking to Jed’s dad but was not sure what he would think or do, looking at Hugo she smiled “Well since we are both stuck here I have cards want to play a game?”

He stopped screaming, but just lay there, with his head in the pillow. He thought about how Liam and Rose wouldn’t like him being here and how Jedrek would definitely get mad at him for trying to follow through with his revenge plans. Ever since the war last year and Hugo quit the DA, he and Jed had become closer, almost like brothers. Jed was teaching him how to play guitar. He figured that it was his cousin’s way of trying to keep him sane. It wasn’t really working though. There was no distraction when it came to revenge.
He heard his name and looked at the one that said it. Isabella, Jed’s girlfriend. While he was close with Jed, he hadn’t had much time to talk to Bella. He rolled over and sat up. He put the railings on his bed down and dangled his feet over the edge. “Is Jed with you? He’s not going to be too happy about what I did to get here.” Hugo had heard her question about Liam. He didn’t know how to answer it. Things are changing and he’s afraid of him and Liam breaking up. They seem so distant now. “I guess he’s okay, but I don’t know. We’re having a bit of trouble. I haven’t seen or talked to him much this year.”
He wondered what she was doing here. He’d heard that there was something wrong with her, but he didn’t think that it was ever bad enough to come here to the hospital. “So, what are you doing here?” he asked, curiously. “You don’t have to answer me if you don’t want to,” he added quickly. “I’m just trying to make conversation. I did something stupid and Jed’ll yell at me for it and then I’ll go out and do it again.” Hugo shrugged. “I never learn.” He supposed that he should play cards with her. It was either that or be bored while he waited to be released. “Sure. There’s nothing better to do.”

Bella shook her head no to the question about Jed being here if he was he would be at her bed side or yelling at the stupid people that put her in here. “No you would have heard him yelling if he was here” she said with a laugh. Listening to him she nodded “I understand that things happen and sometimes people grow apart” she said. Things had changed last year she found herself living on her farm with her sister, brother and parents and now she was with Jed and his family her brother hates her and her mother walked away all she had was Poppy and Jed’s family now that her father was killed.
“Liam will come around he has so much love for you” she said knowing it was true just by looking at Liam everyone knew that he loved Hugo. Shuffling the deck of cards she listened to him ask why she was in here too at first she was surprised she thought that the whole school knew about it by now. “When I was little I fell off my horse and she stepped on me the healers healed the broken bones but I suffer from seizures now. So every once and a while I end up here” she explained with a smile “don’t worry about asking I’m okay about sharing that story now then I was when I first started school; but this years has been really hard on me I think I have had about 5 attacks in one day” she said before looked at the ground “Please don’t tell Jed if he or his dad find out I’m scared they will pull me out of school not to mention I’m not sure how my brother would react even though I think my brother hates me” she said still not looking up.
“Well what are you doing that will get Jed upset? You know he is just looking out for you” she said softly as she looked up at him. “I know how you feel Hugo my father was killed in the war too I am mad and upset about losing him but I’m also mad at myself. You see I told him I hated him a week before the war and I never took it back so he died saving me and thinking I hate him” she said with a tear running down her face. Wiping her eyes she smiled again but not as happy as she did before; well I also have books, travel board games and notebooks I always come prepared to stay long hours. Did you want to do one of those things?”

Yeah, she had a point there. He knew Jed's temper, especially when someone that he loves is hurt. He was pretty sure the whole school knew that. He would probably be trying to take on all the healers if he were around. "Yeah, you have a point. Jed would probably be trying to take on all the healers if he were around."
Hugo hoped that Liam would come around. He was scared and nervous that he wouldn't and he'd end up finding someone better than him. That was the last thing that he needed because there wasn't anyone else that he wanted. He had to fight for him. Maybe that was the problem. Perhaps he wasn't sure that he was actually fight for Liam. Hugo listened to her story about falling off her horse. "I heard there was something wrong with you, but I never thought that it was bad enough for you to be here. I won't tell Jed, but he won't make you leave. He wants you with him. Uncle Charlie might, but I don't think Jed would let him."
Jed was just looking out for him and he guessed that he kind of liked that. It was like he had an older brother. He also knew that Rosie would be mad at him, too. "Jed knew about my wanting revenge since after the war. He's been trying to talk me out of it for awhile. I just couldn't leave it alone. I wanted the person who killed my family dead and I wasn't going to rest until I did. I finally got this lead. A known death eater knew something. I went to question him and the next thing I know, I'm here. This is just a minor bump in the road. I'm going to do it again when I get out." And he would continue until he got what he wanted. They'd have to kill him to stop him from getting revenge and there was no doubt that they would. Hugo thought about it. "What kind of board games?"
