Angelus stood at the stairs near the great hall where the dance was to take place. He stuck to his usual dark clothes but he did dress up slightly for the occasion. He knew that he wouldn’t have much of a choice due to his sister. Not that he minded looking good anyway. He just liked his own mild version of looking good. He had to chuckle to himself over Chase as he made himself look good and comfortable all at the same time. He walked down with his sister Izzy to wait for the others.
He sat on the steps ever so often glancing at Izzy as she complained about something or being bored. He knew that there was plenty of time but he had no idea what all was going to happen as he knew the rules. He knew that Scorpius had a plan and had pa*sed it to Skylar but to the full extent of the plan he didn’t get the knowledge of yet. He had noticed after a bit though that that Izzy was particularly more antsy than normal. He started to wonder if maybe she was up to something.
He glanced over to watch Izzy as she seemed to have some kind of interest already. He brushed it off as he wasn’t interested in knowing who or what it was that caught her eyes. He figured if it distracted her from him and complaining of being bored then all power to whoever just showed up. Leaning back over the stairs he was starting to understand why she was bored. Everyone was taking the longest time to show up. He figured that it shouldn’t matter since it was only a school dance. He sat up and looked over to Izzy, “Didn’t you say that you helped Callie get all ready for this dance? So, where is she?”

Izzy tore her room apart looking for the perfect dress. She knew which one she wanted as she hunted through her things. She had it all mapped out and planned in her mind. She only needed to know the where. She knew all her others were covered and if not yet very very soon. She finally found the dress as she jumped up. She knew that her brothers would be dressed as well but chances are Chase would be dressed as much as casual can get him. She shrugged it off as she didn’t care since he wasn’t her date.
She was in and out of the shower in a matter of minutes. She just needed water long enough to make her wet. She then put on her glitter and did up her hair. She made sure that she looked absolutely stunning. She then moved back to her room to get dressed. She moved swiftly as she wanted to get there. But at the same time she also liked the idea of taking her time and being, of course, fashionably late. She joined the others before they were to go meet up with Scorpius.
She got there and looked around as she leaned against the pillar to the stairs. She was already board. She glanced to her brothers and gave them a slight look. She wasn’t impressed. She found herself relatively bored and upset that neither one of them commented on her. She waited patiently for a few more people to show up. She glanced back to Angelus on the stairs, “Chase is meeting Callie and bringing her.”

Scorpius finished getting ready for the dance. He glanced at the time as he saw that he still have some time before he had to go meet Dannie. He was going to be hanging around his group of friends since he found a slight loop hole to the rules. He knew that everyone had to ask someone from a different house and he knew that if they all showed up then what would it matter anyway? The rules didn’t say that it had to be for the whole night. It was just to get in the doors. He made his way down to meet the others but knew that he would have to wait for Dannie.
He figured that it would be a chance for a few of his friends to really catch a chance and time with Dannie. He was concerned about some of the people when it came to Dannie but for one night. He wanted to push the thoughts out of his mind and hoped that those few close to him would just over look things and let it go. He knew deep down he knew only one would and it would be his sister. Part of him dreaded what all his sister had planned. He was going to hope for the best.
Scorpius leaned against the frame as he waited patiently. He knew that the girls took a while but he didn’t think that it should take this long. He started to wonder if she was going to show up. He heard a familiar voice and he turned to see it was a few of his friends calling out to him. He smiled as he watched them walk over to him. “Hey. How’s it going?” He walked over to her. He placed a hand on her side as he kissed her cheek. “Looking radiant as always.”

Magnus tightened his tie in front of the mirror in the hufflepuff common room. He admired himself in his elegant suit that he had tailored himself just for this occasion with Kita. “Now for the hair”, he said while stroking it. “Should i were it up or down”. Magnus pondered the thought for a few moments, “I think i will put it up, it looks nicer that way”. He grabbed the hairspray and gel and made a concoction that would hold anything in any position. Magnus took the gooey substance and lathered his hair in it, then grabbed his comb and molded the hair into a perfect looking mo-hawk. “Now this is missing something, but i can't put my finger on it.” Magnus thought about it hard then exclaimed, “I've got it!” Magnus reached into a drawer of his dresser and pulled out a small seashell, he had been saving it for Kita. He put the shell in his pocket and departs for the dance.
Magnus waited at the stairs leading to the great hall. He was supposed to meet Kita there in about 15 minutes. He could not wait any longer so he decided to send an owl for her. The note said “Kita i can no longer wait for you, i am dying of anxiousness to dance with you this wonderful eve, if i am not at the stairs...witch i will be, just yell really loud and i will hear you”. Magnus tapped his fingers on the rail as he waited for his love. He got so bored so fast he sat down and began to do his homework. He pulled out his DADA book seeing that is his absolute worse subject, he figured it would be a good time to study some.
People were flocking to the dance and Magnus still waited at there stairs doing his homework. By this time Kita was now 15 minutes late, Magnus was worries she was going to stand him up abd this would turn out like the other house unity dances. Magnus got up and packed him books, and began to walk toward the castle gate. He kneeled down and said, “once again i am alone for the occasion, perhaps all thsi was just a waste of my time”. Magnus then shouted, “KITA WHERE ARE YOU? WHY HAVE YOU LEFT ME ALONE THIS WONDERFUL EVE!” He pulled out his song book and began to write sad works, just as how most of his song are written, upon being alone. He had been hoping to change that tonight and write about being with kita.

Blake sat in the window in his dorm room thinking about backing out and dealing with the girls later over not going, Yumiko was just in his room pretending to be Yuriko so she could enter the Gryffindor common room to see him. She had brought him an outfit to wear because he didn’t have anything nice and she was the female fashion girl in the family. It was a black Tux with a silver vest and a silver tie dropping it on the bed he mocked a sigh and shook his head. All he could think about was Alia and how much he loved her and how said he was that she was killed in the war d*mn it why wasn’t he there to protect her? Why did he stay back and not fight? It killed him more and more every day. Looking at the time he tried to push Alia out of his head and decided that he had to go or poor Izzy would not be able to get in and dance so he moved a little.
Then finally got up and walked to the shower and quickly washed up and drying off moving back to his room he dried off some more and got dressed. After that he did his hair and looked at himself in the mirror hoping that Izzy would like how he cleaned up and looked good. Again the feeling of not wanting to go moved though him but he shook it off best he could and slipped on his shoe’s; saying that this was for Izzy so she could have some fun. Izzy was a nice girl and Blake once had a crush on her but didn’t want to think that way knowing that she might have to leave soon. Taking one last look in the mirror he shrugged and left his room.
Walking down the stairs and into the common room he looked off at the couch’s and smiled “Not going to the dance Autumn?” he asked as he saw the girl reading. Autumn looked up and shook her head “No Shane and I are watching Lucius tonight so that Kota can have some fun” She answered him. “Hey you look great the girl you are taking is very lucky” She added. Blake laughed “I wish I saw what you see” he stated as he disappeared out of the common area and down the hall then stairs to see everyone standing there. His eyes landed on Izzy ”Wow! She looks amazing” he thought as he took his eyes off her and moved around every one “Hey guys”
Turning he looked at Magnus "Seriously man stop shouting we have good hearing and your annoying shouts hurt them"

Kita danced around her room as she pulled everything out that she was going to use and wear before she jumped into the shower then dried off as she prepared for the dance. She took a few tips from her new found friend Izzy. She knew that all her friends had some issues with her new love interest but she couldn’t let it go. She found him interesting, fun, and very attractive. She did up her hair only interlace a few small red flowers throughout her dark hair. She had her paleness that added just that little extra beauty towards the dark color of her eyes as she added a little shimmer to her skin. She wanted to look just right for Magnus tonight. She glanced at the time a few times and knew that she was right on schedule. She made sure that her lips were that of red red rose and her eyes were done just so. She smiled at herself as she almost looked like a geisha. She giggled to herself as she continued to get ready. She received an owl from Magnus about him waiting for her. She frowned as she read it. She sat down at her desk wrapped in a towel as she began to write something back to Magnus. She wrote a few things on a piece of parchment before she tore it up and threw it away. She got up and she paced as she thought what to write back to him. She smiled as she sat back down at the desk and began to write. To Maggie. Due to your letter I have been delayed in my arrival. You asked me to this dance. Learn to be a gentleman. Learn to wait for me or I won’t bother to come. You shouldn’t mind having to wait for me! - Kita She sent out her owl before she turned and started to try on a few different dresses. She took everyone of them off as she tried all over again. She found her black silk Asian sleeveless dress. She pulled it out and looked at it and knew that it was the one she was preparing for. She put it on and smoothed out the wrinkles of the fabric as she did it up. She looked at herself and smiled as she felt herself just glowing. She hoped that the others didn’t notice to much. She mocked a deep breath as she walked down while she fixed her silk black gloves. She entered the common room where she smiled at Autumn and Shane. ”Wow, kita you look very beautiful tonight. Have fun.” Shane said. She smiled and bowed to the two slightly. “Thanks. I just hope it’s not too much.” She said softly before she walked out. She knew that she was running late to meet the others. She swiftly but gracefully made her way through the castle towards the others. She knew where the others were meeting. She slowed her pace as she neared them all as she didn’t want them to think that she was running. She paused for a moment as she heard Magnus. She mocked a sigh and shook her head. She then heard Blake tell Magnus to calm down. She figured that Magnus wouldn’t listen to Blake but she sure hoped that Magnus wouldn’t do anything to upset Blake. She turned to walk down the stairs, “Hello, Everyone.” She said softly with a smile, “I’m sorry that it took so long. I didn’t like anything I tried on.” She admitted more to Magnus then the others knowing that she was more then twenty minutes late as she walked down the stairs. She walked over to Magnus and took his hand. "There are still others that are not here yet." she whispered to Magnus.

Callista sat on her bed as she was still wrapped in a towel as she stared at the mirror in her room, she had just gotten Kota to stop swearing about the guys making her go to this dance she giggled Chase wasn’t giving Callista a chance to hide in fact she was told that Chase was standing outside the door to the slytherin common room waiting to grab her if she tried to run. She was just not going forward to going and seeing not only Albus being happy but Tristan happy as well. Callista’s heart was broken sometimes she wished that she didn’t have a heart. Letting out a deep sigh she stood up before she turned and stared at the dress that she picked out with the help of Tristan. He always seemed to know what each girl in his family liked.
Pulling the towel off she stared at the bite marks on her neck she thought of Tristan and almost started to cry shaking her head as she slapped herself so that she did not cry and ruin her make that Izzy had done earlier. Taking a deep breath she looked at the time and knew she had to go soon or Chase would send Skylar up her it was bad enough that Kota was going to be dragged to this stupid dance. Turning she picked up her dance and slipped into it before zipping it up and going to the mirror she looked great. Tristan was right she looked good in white and pink. Callista Malfoy didn't look like herself. Then she worked on her hair curling it and placing it into a ponytail.
Walking over to the bed she sat down; slipping on her shoes she was finally ready to go. Taking a breath she moved out of her room and down the stairs and out of the common room before anyone could comment on her dress. Stopping so she didn’t hit Chase she looked at him and shook “Alright I am here” she stated as he took her hand tightly yet gently and started to walk to where the others are. Moving she tried to hide herself from everyone as Chase stopped on the steps with them all.
((was given premission to to move Chase))

Chase leaned against the wall dressed in a casual low cla*s tuxedo as he wasn’t big on dressing up for such functions. He glanced around being amused at watching all the people running around and about trying to get ready for this dance. He shoved his hands in his pockets and crossed his ankles as he waited. He’s waited for Izzy many times when they all went out so he was pretty use to waiting for a girl. He always made sure that he had something to preoccupy himself as he waited. He got lectured enough from Izzy to also know not to complain but if he had to he’d do whatever it took to get Callie out and down into that dance room.
He jumped up off the wall when she appeared and grabbed on to him. He walked with her keeping up with her with ease. He picked up quickly how she was feeling about being in the dress. He waved to everyone as he approached them all. He glanced to Callie before he leaned into her, “You look marvellous.” He whispered to her. “Enjoy yourself. I know with the way you look tonight will make everyone else jealous.” He added before he released her hair to fall down over her shoulders. He took her over to Izzy when he took one of Izzy’s hair clips. He changed the style of Callie’s hair and put the clip back in. “Perfect. I would like to have the first dance with you if you will accept.” He whispered.
He glanced to the others as he put his arm around Callie pulling her into him like it was completely natural and a habit before he leaned against the wall with the others. He watched as everyone slowly started to show up. He began to wonder how much longer everyone is going to be. He was surprised that Jasper and Demetris wasn’t here yet. He smirked as he figured they were probably over waiting for Natalia. He heard about some of the things going on earlier that the young girl was having issues because of Blake. “Blake, I hear you’re choosing dresses now-a-days.” He said with a slight smirk.

Liam sighed he had no date and he couldn't go this stupid school thing with Hugo. So he walked down to the Great Hall wearing a rather nice dress robe, he knew that he was wearing Ravenclaw colors and looked around as he got there. He smiled though at least there were a few rather attractive men in the area.
Liam walked on to where he was going and waited to see if his friends or anyone he knew would be coming. Then he got an idea maybe if Phoenix came they could dance? After all Phoenix was in a different house and well Liam could hope. Though he really hoped that Hugo didn't get mad at him which was the only reason he came down here single. Liam somehow knew something was going on with Hugo that was not having a good impact on his life.
He saw Scorpius and smiled a bit but simply nodded and looked around, they were almost all allies of the Slytherin Gang. That scared the boy he didn't like being surrounded by Slytherin Gang members. Liam hoped that Scorpius wouldn't let them take the mickey out of him after all he wasn't wearing the best clothes for a kid like him to wear. But for now he sat down at a nearby table and waited for someone he knew was like him to arrive but he was scared about being alone here with a group that wasn't like him.
Please don't tear me apart, please don't make fun of me. Liam thought as he looked at them his eyes were lingering in places they shouldn't. But he didn't care and was going to try and not do that because he didn't want to get into a fight.

Natalia stomped around her room as she looked for something to wear. She raided Izzy’s closet for a few dresses but her brother caught her and put a quick end to it all. She was so furious with him as he went out with girls that would wear those clothes but at the same time Blake always yelled at her and wouldn’t let her out if she was in something that was anywhere near what Izzy or some of the other girls would wear. She had her hair done up and her makeup done all thanks to Izzy and Kita. She didn’t like the idea that her brother always wanted her well covered. She noticed what Yuriko was wearing and what Izzy was wearing. So what if she was a little younger than them all. She was technically a year older than Blake even though she use to be his younger sister. She grinned as she picked up a dress. She knew the dress that her brother had picked out for her. She thought it was pretty but she wanted to take a chance. A risk. She tossed the other dress back over her bed. She knew that she wouldn’t have the guts to walk out in such a dress even if it was to piss her brother off.
She picked up the dress Blake had picked out for her. She held it over to her as she moved around the room before she put it on. “Stupid past!” she muttered to herself. “Stupid fear. Stupid Blake. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!” she muttered as she did up the back of the dress. She had to admit she did look good in the dress but she also knew that her brother was looking out for her and it was part of that and her own past that mixed which made her want to remain completely covered. The deep green gown was strapless. She didn’t even know if she could walk out in that without something covering the rest of her. She started to think that maybe it was a bad idea in going to the dance but her one upside is that she had two dates. She quickly slipped on her shoes as she grabbed her shall with her free hand. She didn’t want to keep Jasper and Demetris waiting for her. She walked out of her common room only to be greeted by the two men. “Stupid Blake...stupid fear...stupid...stupid...stupid...” mumbled to herself. She smiled as she quickly wrapped the shall around her and linked on arm with Demetris and her other with Jasper.
She walked down to the great hall with the two men. She glanced at everyone. “Sorry we’re late.” She said then looked to Blake with an apology about giving him such a hard time about the dresses. She glanced to everyone else and smile before she leaned toward Demetris. “... I don’t know really how to dance...” she whispered faintly. She looked to Liam and noticed that he was watching Scorpius. She choice to ignore it as she didn't want to get mixed up in all of that.

Dannie looked into the mirror in her emerald green dress that went down to her knees. The dress as a spagetthi string dress and it looked gorgeous on her. One of her friends in that house actually did her hair in curls and put part of it up into a ponytail and done her make-up. Especially when she asked them for help they weren't going to declined but they didn't ask who the guy was. She was grateful for that and she knew it.
Walking out of the Dorm room she had on her emerald green heels on as well and walked out of the common room and walked down towards the dance. She was nervous and she knew it. She also knew she couldn't mess this night up. She was really happy that someone had asked her and it was someone whom she likes dearly. Of course if he didn't end up with her she would be happy for Scorpius none the less. She doesn't really know where their relationship lies at anyways.
Stopping at the top of the stairs she saw him near by. She let out a small smile and desended the stairs very carefully being careful as she could so she could not trip to the very bottom. How was it though that she ended up with the one she started to fall for last year and got her dream to go to a dance with him. Finally making the last step she walked over to him and let out a smile. "Hi Scor!" she said with a smile on her face.

Demetris smiled at Jasper as they waited for Natty to finish getting ready for this dance, honestly the boy could not believe that she was ever going to take him to the dance. Demetris was scared that Natty was not going to give him the time of day but now those fears are gone and he was really going to be able to be with her tonight and maybe even have the strength and guts to tell her that he has fallen head over heels and choose to live under his father’s roof again. He wanted to be with her forever she was the only one that understood that just because they looked young didn’t mean they were young kids anymore.
Leaning against the wall he stared off into space “So did you tell him yet?” Deme asked his brother in a quiet tone so that only he could hear him. Most of the kids in school believed that Deme and Jasper hated each other but in reality they loved each other very much. “Hmm.. sorry was in my own world for a moment” Jasper answered as he looked at the door to the Slytherin Common room. “No I haven’t told him yet not sure I will brother I am not ready for that kind of let down” Demetris laughed as he listened to his brother speak. “Look Jaz you will never know inless you speak up” he said just as Natty walked out into the hall. She looked great so beautiful like a goddess.
Looking at Natty he laughed “ I see your brother was being his normal over protective self again?” he said looking at the dress knowing it’s not what she was thinking about wearing to begin with and that she was saying stupid Blake over and over again. Taking her hand he lead her to the spot where everyone was and spun her around “Don’t worry Izzy taught me and I’ll teach you”

Julian had, at last, finished his preparations by way of his apparel for the dance. He would not have normally thought of going to such things, but it was the very premise of the dance and the fact that he was taking Poppy that fueled him to go. It also fueled his desire to at least look somewhat nice for said occasion. He surely didn't want to disappoint Poppy or make her feel that he did not care about this. And so, Julian was wearing a suit, complete with a tie. He would admit that it was not quite as comfortable as his normal clothing, and that it did look odd when placed on him, but wasn't going to change. Hopefully it would show some effort, because it was about all he could do. (Well, besides where shoes and socks, which he was, for once) His hair would not lay straight or orderly by any means, and so it was the same mess of black hair it always was. His eyes, well, the bags under them, could not be forcibly removed and so those had to stay as well. So, it wasn't much of a change, but there was some.
Leaving the Ravenclaw Common Room, Julian headed down to the Entrance Hall, where he planned on meeting Poppy so they could enter the dance together. He looked rather uncomfortable, slouched over as he was. He had tried to walk in an upright, straight position and failed. Sometimes those things just didn't work... He had made one last touh to his outfit, or at least what he was bringing in the form of a rose. It was a bit cliched, but he had a feeling Poppy would appreciate the gesture anyhow. There was, after all, a bag of Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans tied to said rose for her enjoyment. Her sweet tooth should enjoy it greatly.
Julian paid little attention to those around him. He had little to no contacts in way of friendship and wasn't really planning on trying to make any tonight. He merely wanted to spend the night enjoying the company and opportunity to be with Poppy. And so, he picked a place that was off to the side, so that he was not confused in the crowd, but close enough Poppy would be able to find him. Then he waited, standing in his awkward slouch looking like two very different things shoved together unceremoniously to make a suitable attendee for the dance. She should be there soon, and in his normally guarded eyes there was a hint of that hope and, possibly, excitement to show his great affection for his girlfriend.

Evie didn't have a date to go to the dance with. She really didn't have any friends in other Houses, and no one had asked her. She certainly did not have a boyfriend or anything of the kind either, which made it a shoe-in she'd go alone. Just because she had to go alone did not stop Evie from going at all anyway. Maybe, just maybe, she'd be able to find someone at the dance to spend the night with. She wouldn't be weighed down by a date, and she didn't have to worry about the whole cross-House thing. She could just go and enjoy herself.
Thankfully, tonight was not the night of the full moon. That meant she had nothing she had to worry about in approaching the dance and being part of it. She was safe, and that was an intensely good thing. It would have been horrible to have to miss the dance because it was the night of her transformation...
So she had prepared carefully in the Slytherin Common Room among the other girls in her dorm room who were preparing to go to the dance as well. Her dress, befitting her house, was a shimmering green color, though the color seemed almost black in most lights, with only the slight hints of green shining through. She thought she looked rather nice with her hair in tight curls. It felt nice to have an occasion to dress up. With her preparations finished she headed down to the dance and the activity that would be going on for the night.
She entered the Great Hall, looking around to see if there was anyone who was obviously there alone and might be looking for someone to spend the dance with. She would wander until she found something entertaining to do because that was all she really could. There was a group of Gang Members, but they looked happy and content and she really didn't feel like committing to one group just yet. Wandering would be good. She liked doing that.
And as she looked for people she knew, she kept wandering and hoping something interesting might happen this night.

Little red riding hood, she thought as she looked at herself in the mirror. Seriously, that was what she looked like. Red dress, red wrap and red hair. All that was missing was the red hood. She didn’t want to go down there, looking like that. She took off the dress and looked at the other dresses that she had bought. She had bought about four, just so she had a variety and if she didn’t like one, she could change it. The red dress was a long shot, especially with her true Irish hair. The next one was a little better, a navy blue number with no straps. That would go perfectly with her light blue wrap and black shoes. She smiled at her reflection and decided that that was what she was wearing.
Poppy checked the time and quickly grabbed her brush, so she could do her hair. She didn’t want to be late. She didn’t think that it would look good for her. Julian might get the wrong idea and she didn’t need that. She pinned her hair up behind her, while letting two loose strands hang down the side of her face. Okay, so it wasn’t perfect, but it would have to do. Poppy couldn’t stay there all night working on it. Besides, she didn’t think that he would care if her hair wasn’t one hundred percent perfect. She still looked presentable.
Because she wasn’t used to heels, she picked up the shoes she would wear and carried them downstairs with her. If she had worn them, she would most likely fall down the steps and that wasn’t how she wanted to get down. Poppy took her time down the stairs, so she wouldn’t be tired before she even got the chance to dance. She walked down the last of the steps and spotted Julian waiting for her in the hall. She smiled and walked over to him where she set the shoes down and leaned on his shoulder to put them on. “You look wonderful.”
