Huffie in Library (Julian Creevey)

Annabella walked through the library. She was well an angry young lady at times. But today she was quite happy and she had no idea why. She was an Aunt at age 13 and that maybe why she was so happy. Lucius looks a lot like Scorpius whom she thinks was good for Dakota but then that fourth year girl had to step inside and mess things up last year. But then again maybe that’s the way it was supposed to be. Maybe it was meant to be. Maybe Dannielle Wood was right for Scorpius. She wouldn’t know if she didn’t shut her mouth. She knew that Dannie was in the Gang now and she was happy for that.

Going from one aisle to the next she finally found a book that she liked. Somehow it just seemed to be calling out for her. She wondered though why she picked that book. It was about Defense Against the Dark Arts for the good side. She wondered what the DA was about anyways. She had no idea why she was thinking that at all. She had two older siblings in the Gang and the gang was good to her. She decided to put the book back. “I’m not quitting the Gang!” she said in a whisper that no one else could hear her. She let out a small sigh and started to look again and saw some kind of good books.

She stopped and picked up one book and thought it looked good to her. She went to find a spot in the library to read the book. She finally found a table near the back that was empty and no one was around. She opened the book to the first page and started reading. It was a good book. Hours went by and she had no idea that she had been reading for three hours because the book was so good. She turned the page and saw a phrase. The phrase said ‘Giving up doesn’t mean you are weak. It just means you are strong enough to let go!’. She liked the phrase. “Giving up doesn’t mean you are weak. It just means you are strong enough to let go!” she read the line out loud. “What does that mean?” she asked out loud wondering to herself.

Julian was in the library. That wasn't much of surprise, considering he did spend quite a bit of time in there, partly because of his nature as a Ravenclaw and partly because he simply enjoyed being in the library and it was his own nature. The large room filled with many volumes always carried a sense of warmth, possibly for the fact that it carried a great amount of knowledge and he liked to learn new things. Not to mention, it was the best thing he could do when he needed to escape the common room's noise but did not want to go outside. He did not really like going outside, and so he preferred this. The library was nice, after all. And normally quiet, thanks to the librarians who ran it.

He was much in his own world as he wandered through today, looking through various shelves for something that might prove to be good reading. Julian didn't bear many close friends, and so he wasn't expecting anyone to come looking for him. He could spend all afternoon in here, picking up books delicately and looking through them for detail or for material that would be interesting to read. He did spend a great deal of his time at night reading, so keeping new material was necessary or it presented for boring nights when he could not or did not sleep.

In his time there he had managed to wander to the back of the library, and vaguely realized that there was a girl there. Just one, the rest of the table was empty, and she appeared to be engrossed in whatever she was reading. He brushed it off and continued to look through the shelves in front of him, frustrated slightly that he had yet to find something that piqued his interest enough for him to check it out. She was quiet, and he was quiet, and there was no need for interaction. At least not until she spoke, which was most likely a rhetorical question on her part and required no participation on his. However, being of the mind to like to discuss such things if someone was intelligent enough to do so, he thought he would take a change on the girl and see if she would prove interesting to talk to. He was curious, after all.

"I believe the phrase means that in certain cases you must let go. You are not being weak necessarily, you are simply doing what you must. In those circumstances, you are showing great strength by possibly giving up something comforting to you, or giving up someone who means something to you. You prove yourself strong in those areas, because it takes more strength to let them move on or let go than it does to keep fighting to hold onto them," Julian stated, his tones low so as not to upset the librarian's and thoughtful. It was his normal, thoughtful and slow approach to speech. He walked over to stand by the table and wait for her answer, watching her with piercing eyes.
