Hugo, still in his school robes, carried a bunch of books out of the common room and to the library. It was his way of tricking people into thinking that he was going to be studying. He could scatter the books around; pretend to make notes on pieces of parchment when really he was going to be plotting his revenge. The revenge that he was going to get on those that killed his grandparents and father. Jedrek wouldn’t be happy that someone in the coalition would want to murder someone, which was why he didn’t tell him. Hugo used to be in Dumbledore’s Army before the war, but he left that group and joined the coalition because he didn’t want wars. He wanted to stop death of innocent people. Everyone should be equal. Nobody, not even his boyfriend, knew what he was up to. He hated that Liam was out in the cold, but there’s nothing that he could do. Jed would get killed if someone found out that the coalition was still going on and he didn’t want someone to know that he was planning revenge because he didn’t want anyone to try and talk him out of it.
He sat down at an empty table that was big enough to fit at least ten people. He wanted a big workplace. He opened one of the books up and then scattered parchments around, a few potions notes scribbled on them. The book that was opened was his potion book. Hugo pretended to read and write, while all the time thinking about how he would find out who murdered his grandparents and father and how he would go after them. Maybe he should just go after all the death eaters. Potter twins or Percy Jr probably had something to do with it. It was no secret that they wanted people in this family dead. Maybe Hugo should go after them first. That would be too much trouble, though. There was a potion that could make people tell the truth. All he had to do was slip it into death eaters’ drink and they will spill everything and anything. Hugo grinned at the idea and started flipping through the book until he found the potion.
He would have to try it out on someone first. Liam would be a good one to try it on. Hugo could find out his lovers secrets, but if he found out, he may get made at him and he didn’t want that. He didn’t want the man he loved and was going to spend his life with to be mad at him. Hugo would have to come up with someone else. Rosie was also a good one. He wanted to try it on someone that he loved and trusted before moving on to the Slytherins and suspicious adults. He really didn’t want to do it on Liam, but he wasn’t sure if he could on Rosie without getting caught. Rose was just as intelligent as he was. Hugo didn’t have too many people that actually liked him. Maybe he should try it on his mum first. That made him laugh, but he still seriously considered it. Hugo could find out the truth on if his mum really did like him being gay. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t notice that he was no longer alone at the table.

Liam had brought out his new joke book he also had his bag slung over his shoulder as he trotted off towards the library he was contemplating helping his lover but he wasn't sure how he knew that Hugo was doing something and sure as hell wasn't homework so he simply walked to the Library carrying his new Riddle book and his school bag. He also had a book in there that he had gotten from Flourish and Blotts over the break. He had also tried to get close to his siblings but it had failed so he let it go and simply walked into the library carrying all this and sat down at a table but then he saw Hugo so he walked closer and sat down next to his lover and gently laid his hand on his thigh and rubbed it a bit with a smile he started to think of something to say to him about all of this. He went to gently grab his hand and then decided to speak to him about all the things he was worried about, the Blue Lotus had fallen away after Kyoshiro had left so now Liam sought another group because The DA was just not something he wanted to do anymore not since his lover had left him in the dark.
"Hugo whats bothering you? I know something is wrong why don't you talk to me? I love you and I need to know what is going on after all you are my dearest friend and the one person I've ever let see me in my glory. Come on you can tell me anything I know that your father died and I'm sorry I know that your Grandparents died and again I'm sorry but please talk to me I hate being in the dark about anything. Your the only one I would want to spend the rest of my life with after all you are the dearest being in my life, I'm willing to follow you to the ends of the earth." He said to his lover and waited to see what Hugo would say next after all he was in love with him and needed to know what was bothering him, he knew it was something just not what was bothering him. He simply waited to see what would happen, he was more than pleased to be there with him but he looked at what was going on he was still there to talk with his lover and hopefully help him through whatever was going to happen, his boyfriend was the only one that would ever know his true feelings there were somethings that he would never tell Hugo. They were just to embarrasing to him to ever reveal, he was also trying to be careful about all that he would say to him current events made things tense way to tense for his liking.

Hugo realized that someone was at the table with him when he felt his thigh being rubbed. He knew who it was instantly. There was only person that would rub his thigh. Besides, he recognized the touch. In the time that he and Liam had been together, he had come to know his touch. It was something that he always wanted to feel. “Hey, Liam,” Hugo said, closing the book and looking up and smiling at the boy. He was just about to say something else when Liam started talking.
He should’ve realized that Liam would recognize that something was off about him. Well, he didn’t have to tell him everything and Hugo thought about what he should say. He didn’t want to mention his plan to get revenge. He didn’t really know how Liam would react to that and he wanted to keep that a secret for a long time. He had never shown much bravery in the past and he had every reason to believe that those close to him would stop him from doing anything. His mother definitely would. “Okay, I’ll tell you. I just need you to promise me one thing. You can not tell anybody. This could get a lot of people killed, including myself.”
He fell silent, thinking about how to explain it. He didn’t want to say too much because he didn’t know if anyone was listening to them. “What I’ve been keeping from you is the fact that I’m involved in a group that was banned after the war. You know my cousin Charles, right? Well, he goes by Jedrek now. He started a group called the anti-war coalition and I joined that. The group goes against what the others believe. We are just trying to bring peace to this world. No more stupid wars, no more innocent life being lost.” Hugo thought that he explained it pretty well. He turned and looked at Liam, waiting to see what he had to say to that.

Liam smiled a bit but he was worried he knew that this would be an interesting day and he knew that he needed to talk with Hugo cause whatever he was told was probably not going to be the whole truth he hated to be told the complete truth. He wanted to ensure that Hugo was safe and happy not any harm was ever done with his lover and the man he wanted to spend his life with. He knew that something more was up but he let it go and would simply talk with his lover about his feelings later
"Then I will stop anyone who harms you my love or those you that you care about ok? I know that you want to be with them then so be it." Liam said as he looked at him and smiled he was more than anything sure about what he was going to do next over all that he had been doing. He was sure that he was in for the long haul and it would be hard to convince him that he would be able to tell him everything becaue he was sure that this was not all there was to it. So he simply listened and tried to see what would come of this occasion.
"That's not all Hugo I know you that can't be it can it? I know things about you I will support you no matter what is going on since you are my love. Please tell me all of it? I know its just not the group of Jedrek's." Liam said as he looked at his lover and smiled a bit he knew better, while he had been missing had been the scariest time of life for him ever to occur. So he was now thanful for what they were doing but he would wait for the invitation he would have for the boy. He wanted to ensure that his lover was safe and was not going to be harmed in anyway he would die to protect Hugo no matter what the cost of his own safety.

Hugo chuckled. Of course, he would say something like that. Liam couldn’t protect him all the time and he didn’t need it. It was something that he expected though. He acted like a wuss. He decided that he didn’t want people to see that he really was brave. Hugo knew differently. He really was brave. There were times when he stood up for himself and Liam when he ran into gay bashers. He just didn’t do it all the time. He didn’t want to fight all the time and didn’t want people to pick a fight with him all the time. Hugo started to regret the way that he decided to appear in the first year because now he was sure that it would follow him forever and nobody would realize that he was brave. Well, it didn’t matter, he told himself. He was leaving England in a few years. There was no need for him to stay. He wanted to see the world.
“I don’t need you to protect me, Liam. I can handle myself. I’m not afraid to fight if it’s absolutely necessary.” And if someone tried to hurt his family or anybody in the group that he was in, fighting would be necessary. Hugo knew when it was necessary and when it wasn’t. He wanted a world though where it was never necessary. Jedrek was that same way. He would fight if it was necessary. “I just don’t want it to be necessary. Nobody would feel the need to stomp the group out if they still believe that it doesn’t exist. I’ll be in no harm.”
So Liam knew that wasn’t the whole story. Well, Hugo didn’t know a good enough lie to tell him. He’d have to say the truth. He sighed. He was sure that Liam would try to talk him out of it or maybe say that he would do it instead. Hugo wouldn’t have that. This was something that he needed to do. It had been his family that was lost. “Fine, I’ll tell you. I’m going to avenge the deaths of my family.”

Liam sat and listened to Hugo, this was something that intrigued him so for now he would wait and see what Hugo said, he was going to avenge them? "Your going to seek to avenge your families death? But what about your bravery problems?" Liam asked he was sure that this was stupid but for now he waited to see what would be said to his lover next he was sure that this was intersting and he knew that Hugo could be brave it just wasn't that often. So for now she would wait and see what would come of this, he was in love and he was sure that he could protect him maybe he could help him with the planning over all of this his friendship was important as was his plan for three years from now. He intended to propose but that was only now when he was with Hugo and this was more than anything worried that Hugo would die in the effort to avenge his family but for now Liam would wait to see what was going to happen.
"I can help, why did you try to keep this from me? I love you, I want to help you and do so many things. Can you get me in contact with Jedrek? I think I need to talk to him about that group it seems to have put some crazy ideas in your head." Liam said as he looked at him concern feeling his eyes as he looked at him, he was so worried aobut his lover that it showed plainly in his eyes and actions. "So what else are you planning? Who else do you intend to kill I mean other than Draco Malfoy, he's the one that killed your dad." He said as he looked at him and waited to see what Hugo would say to that, for now he settled for talking and thinking about all that he was saying about these problems.

Hugo gave Liam a dirty look. Bravery issues? For goodness sakes, this kid was his boyfriend and he thought he had bravery issues? He should know better than that. He looked away and waited to talk until his anger disappeared. He didn’t want to go off on Liam. He just needed to get to know Hugo better, that was all. There was no reason for him to get all bent out of shape about it. Well, okay, there was. The one that he loved for, what, two years now, didn’t know him very well. But he didn’t want to make Liam angry, so he didn’t want to lose his temper. Getting his anger under control was easy. He was never one that got angry because he knew how to keep calm, which was something his father never learned to do or anyone else in his family for that matter.
“Liam, I thought you knew me,” he said, a little sadly. “I don’t have bravery issues. I am brave, I just don’t show it all the time. I have no bravery issues.” Hugo looked up sharply when he heard the librarian yelling at him for talking. He smirked at her before looking at Liam. “I’m not that hard a person to understand. And I’m an open book. Just ask me if you want to know something. Don’t just a*sume. I act differently than I am, Liam. It’s a defense mechanism.” Hugo wondered if he would understand that. He hoped that saying that would change the way that Liam looked at him.
He almost panicked when Liam mentioned getting him in contact with Jedrek. That would be the worst possible thing to do. He maybe nice for a Slytherin, but he is still deadly. He will hurt those that talk bad about something that he’s pa*sionate about. “You don’t know Jed like I do. Don’t go near him. He’s dangerous. His group didn’t put the ideas in my head. His group is stop killing and war. Jed doesn’t like that I want to do this, but he can’t stop me and neither can you. I’m sorry; I’ve got my mind made up. And I don’t want help. That’s why I didn’t tell you or anyone. Don’t mention this to anyone or I’ll call you a liar! Nobody will talk me out of this and nobody will stop me!”

Liam watched the boy he loved, he could see he got angry it was then that Liam made up his mind and then he sighed. Maybe he could tell him that he didn't intend to do anything that would anger him again, so he decided to never mention it again. He knew that Hugo was his lover but what could he really do? Liam looked at him smiling a little hoping to appease him, but he wasn't sure he was just as confused as Hugo. So for now he would deal with his issues now, with him here to talk with about so many things but for now Liam would wait to mention his relations with Scorpius. The Malfoy had already done a favor for him so why not mention the idea?
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I don't think that your a coward or anything but understand I care so I get worried whenever something hurts you ok?" Liam said as he looked at him wondered what he would say to him next for now he would mention the other things he had going for him but for now he waited a bit, wondering what he would tell Hugo about his dealings with Scorpius Malfoy. "I know, it was stupid of me to say what I did. Can you forgive me?" Liam asked as he looked at him a smile on his face though it was slow to show on his face. The smiled did not go to his eyes the way it usually did when he was truly happy, so for now he waited to see what would be said to him.
"Oh, ok I understand now. Can I help you then? I won't stop you, you want to avenge your father and grandparents thats more than I would want if my family had been murdered." Liam said as he looked at his lover hoping that Hugo would understand what he meant by his words and his actions. He was sure that he could aid his lover for this, he was sure he could the information to aid him in this crazy vengence thing so for now he would try to aid his lover. "I know dear one, but I have a way to get the information so you can act your vengence out on who killed your parents." He said as he looked at Hugo hoping that Hugo would understand him fully.

Hugo listened to what Liam was saying and got a little upset that he got mad. It’s natural to worry about someone that you’re in a relationship with. He worried about Liam a lot. Worried that he would pick a fight with a Slytherin and end up hurt or worse. That’s what happened when you were as brave as Liam was. You tended to pick a fight with the wrong people. That was why Hugo normally stayed away from fighting. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have gotten upset from that and yes, you’re forgiven.”
How could he help him? Nobody knew who murdered his family and Hugo would have to go to every death eater until he got something out of them. Hopefully, the veritaserum would work. He probably wouldn’t be able to test it on anyone, unless if he could slip it into the drink of Slytherins. He laughed at the idea of Albus spewing out all his secrets. Actually, he wouldn’t be surprised if Albus was the one that murdered his father. It was obvious that the kid hated his whole family. Naturally, though, he wouldn’t be able to slip it into his drink. He knew that Albus would never leave his drink unwatched long enough for Hugo to pour it in, but it was funny to think about. He had always wondered what he was hiding.
Liam started talking about having ways to get the information Hugo needed and he perked up, wondering what he was talking about. “I have ways. It’s risky, but I could probably pull it off. What are your ways?” Nothing was easy, so he knew that it probably wouldn’t be anything that could be done right away, but maybe it was something that was easier than his. “Just as dangerous as mine?”

"All right, thank you my love. I was hoping that I could do something to help you out after all this is something that we all want to do." He told her as he looked at the boy he loved, he hoped that this was going to be interesting to him he needed to help him do anything that he wanted to do. He was sure that this was going to do about his lovers choice to avenge his father and grandparents, he was feeling rather badly that he hadn't told him about the dealings with Scorpius.
Liam smiled as he looked at him and listened he was trying to figure out what he was going to say next after all this was interesting and he wanted to help him but now he was going to do some things to do about all of this. "My method is a bit less dangerous than trying to sneak around interogating everyone that could have done it. I have an infomant, I'm sworn to keep said infomants name secret unless you promise to not tell anyone." Liam told him he was sure that he could tell Hugo but he had to be careful because if word got out that he was dealing with Scorpius. He knew that Scorpius would and could kill him if he ever found out that Liam told Hugo about these dealings, he was trying to tell him about it but first he needed to know for sure that Hugo wouldn't tell anyone else about his dealings with Scor. Because the dealings were meant to stay a secret, it was slightly scary for the boy.
"So what do you think, think you could do that for me? After all it could mean my life if anyone ever found out that I told you about him." He told him he wasn't sure about what else to say to him after all he was trying to achieve all the information he needed.

“I will let you help me find out who killed them,” Hugo said, looking lovingly at him. “I won’t let you get hurt and this could get dangerous. I will kill them myself.” If he could. Hugo even had doubts if he could really pull this off. He may end up getting killed trying to kill them. Then again, he wasn’t even sure if he could kill someone. He was against killing. Hugo was in the anti-war coalition. They were against that stuff and Jedrek wasn’t even happy that he wanted to get revenge. He just didn’t want to back down. He wouldn’t back down.
He wondered who the informant was. He didn’t want to go on the word of someone that he wasn’t too sure if he could trust. If Liam trusted him, then he was probably a good guy. Hugo would be the judge of that, though. “I won’t go on the word of just anyone, Liam. It needs to be someone that I know is trustworthy.” He wouldn’t tell anyone because then he’d have to say what he was up to and he didn’t want that. “Does he know what I’m up to? I don’t want anyone knowing.”
Hugo crossed his arms and kept his eyes on him. “Who would I tell? You know you can trust me. At least you should know that. I won’t tell anyone.” He probably wouldn’t even pay attention to what the guy said. It had to be someone that he trusted. Hugo looked back at his book, knowing that it would probably be the route that he takes to get his information. Hugo glanced back at Liam. He was getting a little impatient about who this informant was. "I won't tell anyone," he a*sured him again.
