Sitting by the fire (Open)

Dannie was bored of her mind and she couldn't sleep at all. It was nearing Midnight. And she knew she should have been in bed. She couldn't really sleep she was thinking about a lot of things that she had on her mind. She had her homework on her mind and also the first Quidditch Match. When ever that will be. She wished it would be soon because she would like to prove certain people that she is good at Quidditch.

She wasn't planning on staying up late but still dressed in her pajamas she walked down the stairs and sat on an comfy arm chair. She looked into the fire and wished that her mother was still alive and not dead. She missed her a lot. She was glad that he was there and being the youngest she must have worried her father for getting attacked last month. She still has no idea what happened to her and she had that on her mind.

Not only she was thinking that she had heard about the war and she had wished she had taken part. She sure hoped the school will not be closed. Hogwarts was her home. She wondered though how long would the school will remain open. And she also wondered why the Aurors were at the school in the first place. She had heard that they had a meeting and they were going to attend the school from here on. She sure wishes that they weren't going to be because that would lose out all on the fun if they were.

Kita walked into the common room and glanced around. She was surprised that it was so quiet but yet she still could hear a single heart beat. She walked more into the common room with caution as she was alone for the first time since she was changed. She could smell the sweet aroma of blood as she walked through the room before she came to notice Dannie. She smiled softly as her eyes lied on the girl before she moved to sit across from her. She didn’t say anything as she watched the young girl and listened to Dannie’s heart beat. She was new and young vampire but she learned how to deal and handle the beating heart. She loved to listen to it as it reminded her of her music.

She sat across from Dannie but turning to look at the fire. She could sense that the girl was troubled by something but being she didn’t know the girl she didn’t think it would be right for to enquire. She did recognise the girl as she did chum around with the oldest boy from the same family. She glanced to Dannie as she figured this must have been the girl she heard about when it came to Scorpius. She smirked inwardly before she decided to introduce herself. “Hello, Dear.” She spoke softly yet with a strong Asian accent. “I am Kita. Kita Bradley.” She added in the same tone. “You are?” she asked.

She kept her attention on the fire as she didn’t want to scare the girl or give the girl the real chance to pick up that she many not have been human yet she was going to school. She decided that she would sit quietly and wait for the young girl to make the first real move either in getting to know each other or to fear and run away. She would only say what she was if she had to. If she could get away from it she was going to stay silent but she wanted to know what someone out side of their circle would treat her like.

Dannie hadn't even heard anyone come in. She was lost in thought thinking about her mother. She couldn't really help the thought. She knew her mother loved the fires and loved sitting by them. Of course she really loves Smores. She smiled at the thought. Sitting there she suddenly wished she had graham quackers, Chocolate bars, and marshmellows. Sitting there looking at the fire some more she smiled a bit.

When she heard someone talk she jumped a bit. "Hello. I didn't noticed you there." she said with a small smile. Looking at the girl she began to wonder why she wasn't looking at her. She thought that was a bit strange. And that her voice was quite awesome as well. With the asian sound to it. "My name is Dannielle Wood." she said with a small smile on her face looking at Kita for a moment. Still wondering why she didn't look her direction.

For some reason Kita seemed a bit different and for some reason that was quite interesting. And then she wondered about other things about this girl. Like what year she was in? What she like to do for fun when not in school? Did she have a great summer? She then decided just to come out and ask other wise she may not get the questions answered. "What year are you in if you don't mind me asking? I myself is a fourth year!" she said with a small smile.

Kita smirked slightly as she listened to Dannie. “I’m extremely quiet when I move.” She said softly but her accent holding. “I’m Kita Bradley.” She added as she watched the fire. She started to wonder if the girl knew what she was. She was fairly pale for an asian. She smirked at the thought as she glanced over to Dannie. “I hear, you are Scorpius’s new love interest.” She added as she was curious and wanted to cut right to the point. “He’s a good strong man. I know you haven’t come in contact with his sister yet but as a friend of his” she paused for a moment as she turned slightly more towards Dannie with the light of the fire playing off part of her face and figure and shadows covering the rest of her, “Don’t break him!” she said, almost coldly.

She looked back to the fire as she smirked, “Fires are great.” She said in a happier tone. “The only thing that are missing is S’mores.” She said as she glanced to Dannie. She was giving off that the past few seconds didn’t even happen or was even said. “I’m a sixth year. Slytherin gang.” She said. “Congrats on the getting into the Slytherin Gang.” She added with a slight smile as she glanced to Dannie. “We are in the gang together, feel free to ask questions... we are like sisters now, anyway.” She said.

She started to wonder if the girl picked up on the fact that she was a vampire or not. She figured that she pissed off Dannie with what she said earlier but she mentally brushed it aside and didn’t really care. She didn’t think anyone else told her to so she figured that she would. She did know that Crew put Scorpius in his place when it came to his sister, this young lady Dannie.

Dannie looked at her for a moment with a smile on her face. "You told me you name twice now Kita." she said with a small smile. "It's really nice to meet you." she said witb a small smile looking right at her. She was curious why she wasn't looking at her. She wondered if she was different? Well more different than her anyways. Something was starting to click into her mind that she was not human. She looked at her for a moment. "So I've heard!" she said with a small smile on her face. She had been hearing something along the line between cla*ses that day that she was a new interest to Scorpius and if not that the word 'Traitor' was flowing around there too. Dakota looked at her for a moment. "I'm not going to break him. And I could never do that." she said with a smile. "I'm too gentle. Callista on the other hand had hurt Albus and I can see why he hasn't been seen in the past weeks or days." she said with a small frown.

Dannie smiled a bit and then had an idea. "I'll be right back!" she said as she ran out of the common room and down the many corridors and taking secret pa*sages way to get down to the kitchen. She grabbed some gram crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmellows. She was surprised the school even had such things. And then ran back up to the common room. "Here go the stuff to make 'Smores with!" she said with a smile taking a marshmellow and placed it on a stick and handed one to Kita. And took another one for herself. "Thank you! You are the second one not to call me traitor." she said with a small smile. "Loads of people from the DA is calling me a traitor. Well guess what I don't care. They weren't there for me like Scorpius was." she said with a small smile. "Really? We are like sisters?" she asked her for a moment. She wondered how as she took her marshmellow from the fire and it looked right.

Putting a chocolate bar on a gram cracker she put her marshmellow onto it and made a sandwich out of it and started eating. "The only thing I know how to cook at the moment." she said with a smile on her face. "And it is rather good if you ask me!" she said as she took a bite of it. "So what are your favorite subjects? Mine is DADA." she said for a moment. "Well I've always loved that cla*s. I don't like History of Magic and I don't like Potions." she said with a smile on her face.

Kita’s lips were thin but slightly curled upward at the edges as she realized that she did indeed give her name twice. She figured that she must have been too involved with her own world to have noticed. She was happy to have the girl talking to her. She continued to gaze into the fire as if it was speaking to her as she listened to Dannie. “Never say never.” She said faintly while gazing out into the fire. “You’re too gentle?” she questioned. “You see, if there is nothing to fight for then there is nothing that can break the flow.” She stated. She continued to gaze into the fire, “Like a lake the heart must be calm and quiet having great depth beneath it. The person rules with compa*sion and his word needs to be trusted. The person needs to know like water how to flow around the blocks and how to find the way through without violence. Like water, the person should wait for the moment to ripen and be right: water, you know, never fights it flows around without harm.” She said as if she was reciting a quote with her tone of voice. At the mention of Callista’s name she glanced to Dannie from the corner of her eyes then looked back.

She glanced to Dannie as the girl seemed excited. She blinked for a moment as she looked to the chair the girl once had been sitting in and then to the door. She turned her gaze back to the fire as she moved from the armrest of the chair into the actual chair. She made herself more comfortable. She blinked as she looked back to Dannie as if she had been surprised. Truth was she heard the heart beat; pulse and the steps of the girl as she grew close. “Smores?” she questioned as if she didn’t hear of the word. She couldn’t help but slightly smile. She remembered her smores with the family as she thought back before she even came here and before she was turned into a vampire. “I have no reason to call you a traitor. I’ll only do that if you betray the Malfoys or the Rycerz.” She said. She figured that the girl didn’t know, or would understand the second as she scooted forward in her chair to the edge, “We may all have different last names but we all belong to the Rycerz’s haven.” She said. “Meaning my family, the vampire clan.” She added then looked at all the things that Dannie had brought up from the kitchen and she held onto the stick with the marshmallow. “Can a vampire have this?” she questioned in a very low tone but not toward anyone directly. She glanced back to Dannie, “Of course they will be calling you a traitor because they are with the DA. To those who don’t care won’t say anything. To those of the Gang, they’ll just watch you and think that you are in the gang because you are Scorpius’s new girlfriend, Sort to speak.” She said. “Being that you are in the gang and so important to Scorpius, Yes, we are like sisters. Do you plan on being turned into a vampire?” she questioned as she turned to face Dannie now.

She watched Dannie for a moment before she did the same with her marshmallow and the fire. She pulled it out when it was golden brown and started to build it up. She glanced to Dannie as she had not had any human food since she was turned into a vampire. She blinked for a moment. “Father, I am in the common room with Dannielle Wood. She made Smores. Is it possible for a vampire to have one?” she questioned through her link to her sire. “Don’t have a lot since you could get ill as we do only require blood but otherwise yes. You can have some.” Skylar replied to Kita through their same personal link. She smiled faintly after a moment before she took a bite of it. She did have to admit it brought back many memories of her human life as she ate it. She glanced to Dannie. “Cooking is a great a*set you know, for young ladies to have. It is after all a sweet way to make it into a man’s heart.” She said with a smile. “Hmm. Subject?” she repeated as she started to relax and show her real self. “History of Magic and DADA.” She said. “But then again, everyone around the haven makes the history of Magic rather fun and interesting.” She added with a returning smile to Dannie.

Dannie looked at her for a moment when she said ‘Never say Never’ and was surprise to hear that out of her. “Yes I am gentle. Well I think that is changing actually a bit.” she said for a moment before she continued. “Huh?” she asked her for a moment. She didn’t understood what she meant by that. In fact she never heard that before. Looks like I’m learning new things from not only Scorpius but from Kita too! she thought to herself. She still was confused by everything she was saying. “Um I’m having really hard time trying to understand everything you are telling me. I know there is some sort of message in it but I don’t know what it is! It’s hard to figure out what you mean. What is it exactly do you mean by all that?” she asked her for a moment. “Basically what I meant by that I am too gentle or at least it seems so to my brother Crew who was surprised that I yelled at him. I never yelled at any of my siblings before. I usually just let things go and walk away and well I just yelled at him.” she said with a frown. “I didn’t like but he had to know how I was feeling.” she said with a small smile. “And you know what?” she asked her for a moment. “I feel better!” she said a minute later.

“Yeah s’mores.” she said with a smile as she took another bite of her own. “Well thank you I guess. Most of the DA is calling me a traitor. And I’m just ignoring them and living my life the way I want too.” she said with a smile. “But deep down it hurts.” she said turning her smile into a frown. “I mean some of them were my friends but they weren’t there for me or at least some said they were too busy.” she said with a small frown. Even Scorpius wanted to visit me but Kota and Callie figured out a way to keep him from visiting me! she thought to herself as she ate her s’mores. She shook the thought away for a moment when she heard what she had said. She looked at her for a moment. “You are a vampire?” she asked her for a moment with a small smile on her face. “Do I plan on being turned into a vampire?” she asked her for a moment. “I never really gave it a thought.” she said with a small smile. She has heard that there was Vampires at the school but she didn’t know there was one in her own house.

Dannie looked at Kita. She thought that she was really pretty. Pale yes but otherwise pretty just the same. She was a bit glad she was talking to Kita. And she was glad that she knew that she had her trust. She heard what cooking is a great a*set to have especially when it comes guys heart. “I’ll have to keep that in mind!” she said with a smile on her face. “I love the DADA. But History of Magic puts me to sleep every time. Even the homework does.” she said with a small frown. “Really? They make History of Magic rather fun and interesting? How do they do that?” she asked her for a moment. She really didn’t like History of Magic.

Kita smiled as she listened to Dannie and she could pick up on the confusion and the surprise. She giggled to herself deep inside. She could see the sweetness to this girl that everyone was talking and commenting on. She watched the fire as she listened to the girl. “At most I can possibly help you with what I said but I can’t explain what I said as to everyone person there is a different message in it.” She spoke softly as she watched the dancing flames. “Then you got out of it what was meant to come out of it.” She added. “at least he finally heard you.” She told Dannie. “There are times you could do that to some of them boys until you are blue in the face and they still don’t hear you.”

“It always hurts when you are called something. In a way you are a traitor since you did leave them and betray them when you joined the Gang. Sometimes, live takes a hold and things do change. However, you have to be true to yourself and your heart.” She said before she turned to look at Dannie. “yes I am a vampire. I belong to the Rycerz Haven clan.” She said. “I only asked since Scorpius’s seventeenth birthday is just around the corner and he is to be turned on his birthday. Swearing an oath to Skylar Rycerz.” She added. “From my understanding, his sister Callista is planning on joining him but I don’t know if Scorpius is going to give permission for her to be turned the same night or not and sense you are now his new girlfriend. I just wondered if you were going to trade in your life.”

She smiled as she knew Dannie was watching her. She kept an eye on Dannie as she didn’t know what the girl was thinking but part of her wanted to know what she was thinking. She sort of sensed that Dannie seemed to be okay with her and the knowledge that she was a vampire so she figured Dannie knew she wouldn’t be a snack. She nodded, “yes, it would be a good idea. I don’t know a lot but if you want I can teach you a few things.” She said. “I feel the same way which is why I usually take the homework and leave the cla*s. The clan and Scorpius makes it more interesting when they act things out.”

Dannie listened to her for a moment. She thought that she was a very beautiful girl. She turned towards the flames for a moment. She had always thought of Flames as dancers dancing around upon the stage. She listened to what she had said though. “I did?” she asked her breaking her glance from the flame dancers and looked at Kita. “True. But I had never yelled at him before yet alone my family members.” she said with a small smile on her face. “That is true.” she said with a smile on her face.

She looked at her for a moment. “But I didn’t betrayed them. I’ve told Scor anything that was going on but there was nothing to tell as they did nothing.” she said with a small smile. “Now though I’m not so sure.” she admitted. There is something going on and I don’t know what it is yet. she thought to herself. “Me trade in my life?” she asked her for a moment. “I don’t know about that just yet. Like I said I’ve never really thought about it. All I can see at the moment is growing up having kids and growing older.” she said for a moment.

Dannie was still looking at her and she had a feeling she would not be a snack and she should have known that. She wondered for a moment. “Callista I’m a bit afraid of her but I’m not afraid of Athena though. Some times I think it’s because I know what Callista can do to the relationship. And it seems like Scor is just not into Athena so there’s no fear.” she said with a small smile. “They act things out? That I have to see.” she said with a smile on her face.

Kita gazed deeper into the fire as if she was being hypnotized by it. “My apologies, Ms. Wood.” She whispered softly, “It was no my place to comment on that which I heard through the others.” She added in the same soft tone. After a long moment she turned to look at Dannie. She did have to admit that the young girl did look cute. She could understand why Skylar would want to help keep her safe for Scorpius. She wasn’t going to share her comments. She did know that there was a lot of controversy over her within those who reside at the Haven. She turned back to the fire as she listened to what the girl had to say.

She watched Dannie from the corner of her darkened eyes. She was curious about the girl. There was something that she picked out distinctly with the way she admitted. She started to wonder what sort of ideas she was having. “You’re not so sure?” she asked partially sweetened with her vampire charm. She figured that if this girl was hiding something that she could find out. All in due time. “What do you mean that you are not so sure? Do you have some kind of knowledge that they might be up to something?” she questioned in the same tone. She looked back to the fire. “There are many who has given up their lives for love and for eternity.” She spoke. “There isn’t any reason why you can’t have kids, grow to a certain age then change it up some. We do have a lot of advantages.” She spoke in soft tone.

“Callista is only harmful when you cross her or threaten her. Scorpius belongs to Callista. She is the only one that can stand in the way of your relationship with the slytherin Prince.” She said in her sweet but upbeat tone. “Athena means nothing.” She said in a more bitter tone. “Athena is not a threat to you. Scorpius has no interest in her unless it’s to see how many times he can make her cry. Scorpius has had his moments with Athena but I wouldn’t could on the two of them. The only real threat to your relationship is Callista. All it will take is Callista telling Scorpius that it’s you or her... and we all know who he’d choose.” She looked to Dannie, “Don’t focus on that. Let everything fall where it falls. But if Athena gives you trouble, defend yourself. When you get stuck my brother Blake, Sister Yuriko and myself will come to help you out. But as the new princess you’ll need to know how to fight and defend yourself. Do you think you can handle that?” she asked. She nodded with a vague smile, “Yes. It’s interesting. The act out the history, battles, and speeches. It’s very amusing.”
