What about a candle lit dinner? PJ thought to himself sitting on his bed. He thought that would be a good way to ask Roxy out to the House Unity Dance and ask her if she would like to be his girlfriend and he would really love that idea. The only problem was where would he put this candle lit dinner. He got up and looked out the window. “Courtyard?” he asked himself. “Not romantic enough!” he told himself. “Quidditch Pitch?” he asked himself again. “That may work but I don’t like the place much!” he asked himself. “The Forbidden Forest?” he wondered. “Nah her father would kill her if she’s anywhere near there and I don’t like the forest.” he thought to himself. He then smiled a bit. “The Black Lake is the perfect spot for a candle lit dinner!” he said with a smile on his face. Getting dressed in nice black pants with a white t-shirt with a red tie and a black blazer he looked at himself in the mirror. “Looking sharp there Zabini!” he told himself. He tied his bushy brown hair back into a low ponytail which made him look even more sharp according to himself. His fellow Gryffindor’s made fun of him for being all dressed up. “Go ahead and laugh but we will find out who’s laughing who doesn’t have a date to the House Unity Dance!” he said and walked out proudly. Walking down to the kitchen he asked the house elves if they could cook up some spaghetti and meat balls and some garlic bread for them and put it into a picnic basket in containers and set some plates inside and he told them that he would be right back for the basket. Walking a few ways he called his owl Pajamas to him he pulled out a piece of paper out of his pocket and found a pencil laying near by. He quickly wrote out an letter for Roxy. My dearest Roxy, Please meet me at the black lake. Wear something nice. I got a little surprise for you. I hope you will like my little surprise but please meet me there at six!
Yours truly, PJ “There you go Pajamas go find Roxanne Weasley and make sure she gets my message before four so she could get ready please!” he told his owl as he watched the owl fly off to go find Roxy. He turned back towards the kitchen and grabbed the picnic basket and ran out of there. He forgot to ask for a table and went back and found a folding table and a couple of chairs. “Could I borrow?” he asked them pointing to the table and chairs and they nodded their heads and he grabbed them and a table cloth to go over it. He also grabbed two candles and made his way over to the black lake. Once he got there he set down the picnic basket on the ground and set up the table and covered it with the table cloth and set up the two candles in the center of the table and placed the plates and forks and knives on the table. He filled the wine gla*ses with grape juice. It was the only thing he can come up with that looks like wine. And since they were under age it would have to do. He added a bit of sprite in the Grape juice to give it a bit of a kick. He looked around him and saw that the rest didn’t look so great like the table. He went around slowly making lights appear around them making the place look romantic. He hoped that she would like the surprise. As soon as he was done with that he looked at his watch and saw that he had five minutes left to spear. He walked up the path and stopped at the entrance of the black lake and stood there like a prince would waiting for their princess. ((I know weird name for an owl but it seemed to fit!))

Why was she even in Ravenclaw? She seemed to be too stupid for the house. Sure, she knew that she was smart, but she wasn’t at Ravenclaw level. A person has to be as smart as her aunt Hermione or her cousins, Rose and Hugo to be in that house. Roxy figured that she wasn’t loyal enough for Hufflepuff, brave enough for Gryffindor or evil enough for Slytherin, so it just went with Ravenclaw. She remembered how long it took to be sorted. The hat must’ve seen how she’d do in all the houses, so it just stuck her in one. She wasn’t complaining, though. Roxy liked being in Ravenclaw. Sometimes she wished she could be in Gryffindor, so no girl would try to go near her man, but Ravenclaw was fine. And maybe with the dance coming up, he would ask her. She really hoped he would.
An owl flew in, dropped a letter in front of her and then left. She read the letter, over and over, to make sure that she wasn’t imagining it. PJ actually wanted her to meet him. She quickly checked the time and groaned when she noticed that it was already four o’clock. Roxy gathered her things up and raced out of the library and to the common room. She had to find the perfect dress to wear. She also had to make sure that her hair and make up were perfect. This was going to take awhile. She hoped that she could be done in just two hours. Unfortunately, it didn’t leave her much time. It would take an hour in itself to find the perfect dress. She decided right then that if she went to the dance, she would contact her cousin, Victoire, and see if she could take her shopping.
Going through her closet, none of the dresses looked all that great. She sighed. There had to be one… then her eyes landed on a blue bubble dress that would do. She took it out of the closet and put it on. Roxy spun around in front of the mirror a few times, grinning as she realized that she looked great in it. She then began with her hair. She curled it and then put clips in it, so it wouldn’t be flying all over the place tonight. She hoped that it wasn’t too cold. She wasn’t dressed for cold weather.
After putting on her makeup, she checked the time and smiled when she had plenty of time to go. She just couldn’t wait. When she reached the common room, a couple of her friends stopped her and asked why she was so dressed up. She told them about PJ and then left them giggling. Roxy had to wonder if any of them would dare follow her just to tease them. She hoped not. Her friends were so embarra*sing sometimes. As she got closer to him, she saw the table and how wonderful it looked. She grinned at him. “What do you have planned for tonight?”

PJ smiled when he saw Roxy come her direction. She looked gorgeous and to him she will always look gorgeous. "You look beautiful tonight!" he said with a smile taking her hand in his own. He kissed the hand gently but still held on to it. "Your table awaits!" he said with a smile on his face. "The menu is Spaghetti and meatballs and well a guy named PJ Zabini!" he said with a smile on his face. He hoped everything was going to go smoothly tonight. He really did he could screw this night up.
He let go of her hand and went and grabbed a chair and pulled it out for her. "I hope you like Spaghetti and Meat balls." he asked her with a smile on his face. He also wondered if this was the time to ask her to the school dance. She did look gorgeous in blue. And he wanted to say so but couldn't find the words to do so. He looked at her with a sparkle in his blue eyes and smiled a bit. He thought of how far they came and it was kind of funny how she got jealous of some of the girls that hanged out with him. Actually he found it really cute that she was like that. He liked her a lot more than any girl but never could figure out how to tell her.
He took out the Spaghetti out of the basket and served some on each place and put the container back into the box. "Boy those house elves sure make a lot of food!" he said with a satisfied smile. "There food is ready to eat." he said with a smile on his face. He then sat down and then wondered what he was going to ask her. He looked at her for amoment. "Roxy there's something I wanted to ask you." he said for a moment. "And I'm pretty sure you already know what my question is going to be" he said a bit nervous. "Well you go to the house unity dance with me?" he asked with a hopeful smile. "And will you also be my girlfriend?" he asked her. Hey might as well get two birds done at once right? he thought to himself.

Roxy smiled at him. He was so good looking and he really wanted to be with him. She wanted this night to never end. She wondered how long she could prolong this night. “Thank you,” she said, smiling up at him. Spaghetti, meatballs and a guy named PJ Zabini. What a good menu. Her favorite is PJ Zabini, but she’ll also take the spaghetti and meatballs. “That’s a good menu. I especially like PJ Zabini.” Once she said it, she wished she hadn’t. She felt like she would die from embarra*sment. Roxy looked away as she felt her cheeks burn. “Ignore that last part.”
Yeah, she liked spaghetti and meatballs, but she would’ve eaten anything just to be with him. She would’ve done anything just to be with him, even go to the ends of the earth. “Yes, I do, but I probably won’t eat much.” She was still looking down, waiting for her cheeks to stop burning. Roxy didn’t think that would happen anytime soon. She had embarra*sed herself and now she had to live with it.
“Well, they are used to cooking for hundreds of people,” she said, glancing back at him, her cheeks still red. She was recovering slightly from the embarra*sment. Roxy got confused when he said that he had to ask her something and that she’d probably know what it was. She didn’t know what it was, but she hoped that it would be about the dance. “Yes!” she said, instantly when he asked the questions. “And of course I would love to be your girlfriend.” Roxy couldn’t believe it. She was no longer single and she had the boy of her dreams. She was too excited to eat now. She wondered if Victoire would be able to take her shopping. Since all Rox had was a brother, Vic sort of became a sister to her through the years. She couldn’t stop grinning. Her life was getting better.

“Your welcome!” he said with a smile on his face. He had always thought that she was a gorgeous girl but wasn’t sure how to ask her out when he was younger. He has been with other girl’s before her. They had only lasted though for one to three months though and he had wondered why. When he was in the common room one night he had asked James why he couldn’t keep a girl for more than three months and that’s when he found out that Roxanne really did like him more than anything. He smiled at the thought and never realized that his dream girl was right there in Ravenclaw. He heard what she had said about the PJ Zabini. “Well I especially like Roxy Weasley!” he said with a smile on his face. “Can’t ignore that last part. I actually liked that part.” he said with a smile on his face.
“Same here. But let’s eat what we can.” he said with a smile on his face. He was always amazed how much food they would supply you with. He wasn’t sure if they’d be able to eat it all and he knew if he gave it back to the house elves it would be an insult. He really like Spaghetti and Meatballs though. It was one of his favorite meals and was always glad when the House elves would make it for dinner.
“Should have known that and I probably should have made it myself if I only wanted enough for two people.” He said with a smile. He wondered who he could give the rest too. He shook the thought of his mind for a moment. Right now that wasn’t what mattered to him. Roxy is what mattered to him. He was glad that she said yes to the dance and he was even more excited when she said yes that she’d be his girlfriend. He was no longer single. He was quite happy and he knew it. He had his dream girl and nothing could make him sad tonight. He was to hungry now to eat though. What were they going to do with the food now though. He got up and walked around the table and bent down to look her into the eyes. He took her hands into his own and planted a kiss on her lips.

Roxy’s self esteem rose in just the short time with him. She was really glad that she finally had this time with him and she could find out that he really liked her. It made her feel good that she finally found someone that actually liked her. She remembered the few other guys that she dated and how they all ended with them breaking up with her. She’d been beginning to think that she didn’t know how to pick a guy. “So you don’t think that I made a complete fool of myself?”
She got a little on her fork and chewed it slowly, setting her fork back down. Her mother had made sure that she would know how to act like a lady. The lessons included manners, eating and sitting. Though she didn’t always sit and act the way a lady should, she always did eat as such. Roxy swallowed and stared at him lovingly, wondering what was going through his mind. How long had he liked her? That was something that she really wanted to know, but didn’t want to ask. It didn’t seem right to ask that.
“I would love to taste your cooking one day,” she said, smiling at him. She wondered if he was any good with cooking. She was good with it and decided that next time, she would cook for him. “I’ll do the cooking next time,” she proposed. “That way we get enough for two and not a thousand people.”
