Midnight Swim;;Ryan

[Rose Elizabeth Weasley]

Rose had been in her dorms for most of the day doing a few things, as the day was just about done she could not decide what she wanted to do. As she sat down in the living room with her hand on her head she decided that she did not want to stay in this evening, but she also did not want to go out persay. Sitting there for a moment she smiled and she knew what she was gonna do, she went to the kitchen and pulled out her basket and filled it with food and a bottle of wine and she packed two wine gla*ses just in case she was going to have company. She looked over what was in there and she pulled out a blanket and sat it by the basket and then went to her room and changed.Pulling out a pair of capris, erd tube top, and for her feet a pair of white heeled, but beneath her close she had her swim suit on just in case. Yes she knew that it was still winter, but she just loved how the sand felt beneath her feet as she walked on the beach. Grabbing her jacket and the items that she was bringing she took a breath and walked out of the dorms.

Tonight was such a beautiful night, it was perfect. She stood outside the castle walls and she made her way to the black lake before she started to walk she removed her shoes and stepped on the cold sand. As she walked down to the middle of the beach she looked out and saw the water was still that the night sky sparkled on top of the water. She let out a sigh and found the spot that she was going to sit, she layed out the blanket and placed her shoes down and then she sat the basket down in one of the corners. Sitting down on the blanket she smiled as she looked out once more and she had wished that there was someone else there with her.

Opening the basket she pulled out one of the gla*ses and the wine and opened the bottle. She started to pour herself a gla*s and she placed the bottle back in the basket and she put her feet out to her side and she took in the nature and beauty that surrounded her, with a sigh she began to let her mind wander as she took a drink. The pnr thing that it wandered to was that her brother had left the DA and was determined to avenge their father's death all by hiself and that was one thing that Rose could not allow Hugo to do and the their was Pheonix wanting her to get him back and it just seemed so useless since he had his mind set, but Rose was still gonna try. Looking out and the night stars and the lake she smiled as she layed back and closed her eyes.

Ryan couldn't sleep at all that night and he had no idea why. He looked outside his window in his dorm and thought it was a gorgous night outside. Why did it have to look so nice outside during the Autumn season. His blue eyes sparkled with delight. Oh the things he could be doing right now rather than sitting here in the Dorm waiting for sleep to hit him. Getting up from where he was sitting he decided he was going to go out and have fun.

Getting dressed into some clothes and had put on a swim trunk under his pants he made his way out of the dorm room quietly not disturb anyone from their sleep. Even though he knew he could get into trouble he didn't want to cause a scene. He let out a smile and made his way out of the commom room and into the corridors. He knew now that he must be very quiet and thread around very quietly so none of the Prefects could catch him and he didn't want any of the Slytherin Prefects to catch him.

He made his way through and carefully made it outside and from there he had no idea where he was going to go. He decided he might as well walk around trying to find something to do. He could think about Rose and just sit in peace. He knew though if he doesn't ask her out now he will never get a chance with her and he didn't want that at all. He wanted to be with her. He wanted to be with her forever. What he would like the most though is to marry her and have kids with her. He turned without realizing that he was heading to the Black Lake.

Once he was there he stopped and saw Rose. He thought that she looked gorgeous. But he wondered who the other gla*s was for. He saw her drink the whatever was in the cup. He liked wine and he knew it too. Walking up slowly and sat down on the other corner and just smiled at the night's stars. "Gorgeous autumn night don't you think?" he asked her with a smile on his face as he turned his focus on her for a moment.

[Rose Elizabeth Weasley]

As the sandy haired girl sat on her blanket she looked out to the waves crashing into the beach. She loved the beach especially at night and when she was spending it with another person. As she sat there she continued to drink her wine, she reached to her basket that she brought and pulled out a container of strawberries that she prepared and a container of whipped cream, that she had also made. The girl opened the container of the whipping cream and also pulled out a napkin and she grabbed a strawberry and dipped it into the dip and she took a bite. Filling her wine gla*s to the almost the top, the wine that she brought was the stuff that Lucy had brought to the dinner party, a smile came across her lips.

As Rose sat there her thoughts were somewhere else, not on the beauty of where she was but on other things. She had hoped that she would have come here with another person. A smile appeared on her lips as she started to think of that person, he filled her thoughts and she could not figure out why, it was Ryan. Ever since they met on the train ride to Hogwarts, she had always liked him, but as he coudl not say a thing to her she was also having issues telling him.She just could not help but smile every time her thoughts went to him.

Coming back to the real world she slowly opened her eyes and she heard foot steps coming her way. A bit worried about who it was she gripped her wand just in case, but she still had her drink in her hand. As the steps got closer Rose kept on telling herself to turn around and see who it was, she truly did not care who it was, that just meant that she was not going to be by herself. Closing her eyes for just a moment, they opened and she saw Ryan taking a seat next to her, she smiled of course as she waited for him to sit down and she just looked at still shocked that he was here at this moment. "It is a beautiful night and what brings you out, this evening?" She smiled again as she brought the gla*s to her lips and she took a drink.

Ryan thought for a moment. "What brings me out here tonight?" he asked himself for a moment. "Well mainly it's that I couldn't sleep." he said with a smile on his face. "And plus I guess I've done a lot of thinking. And a lot of it was out loud. Most of my friends keeps telling me I should get a date to the ball that supposed to be happening!" he said with a small smile. Especially Patrick been's asking me if I asked you yet! he thought to himself. He was quite shy around her and he knew it. Running his fingers through his blonde hair he looked at her for a moment and smiled and thought that she was the prettiest thing there was.

He looked out at the lake for a minute and gathered his thoughts. "Well I've been thinking and I don't really know how to ask you this and trust me this is harder than it seems." he said with a small smile. "Willyougotothedancewithme?" he asked her all so quickly. He had no idea why it came like that but he was nervous to ask her to the House Unity Dance and he couldn't figure out why he now mumbled alll of his words. But he did hope she understood all of that.

A smile formed across her lips as Ryan sat down with her, he was the person that she had hoped would find her out there. She still wondered how he found her, but those thoughts left her mid. He was here and that was all that mattered." I know exactly what you mean, that is why I am out this late"She shrugged and then took another bite of a strawberry and whipped cream and she looked up at Ryan." Would you care for one?" She said as she smiled back at him.

Watching him she smiled as she looked up at the stars also, they were so beautiful the way the sparkled off the water it just made the evening more wonderful than it was already starting to be.Taking another sip of her wine as she listened to Ryan talk about the unity dance, yeah she was going through the same dilema and her family was not helping especially Albus."I know what you mean, about the unity dance. My friends are pestering me also as is my family about whoi I am going with." Sitting ther she smiled and was hoping that he would ask her already, she sighed as she looked at him. "Would you care for a drink?" Still waiting for his answer Rose took the gla*s and pressed it to her lips and took a drink.

As she watched him and she listened to what he had just asked her and she thought she was hearing things, about how newvouse he was and how hard it was for him to ask what he wanted to ask, she knew what he was going to say and her face just lit up and she knew that her smile had widened, and as she wiated she thought she heard what she had been waiting to hear and she leaned closer to Ryan so that she could better understand and she blushed a little as she did ask her what she knew they had both been wanting to do, they had both been just to scared and she was happy that he had done it. Looking into his eyes she placed her hand on his and whispered in his ear softly "I would love to go with you!" As she was about to leave his face she decided to do something, as she moved closer she pressed her lips softly to his cheek and then pulled away and waited.

Ryan smiled a bit when she said that she knew what he means. “Let’s just hope none of the Slytherin Gang catches us. I hear they aren’t remotely forgiving to those who aren’t their own.” he said with a small smile on his face. He looked at the strawberries and whip cream it sure did look really good and it was a healthy snack which he doesn’t mind. He loves strawberries. Especially with Whip Cream. “I would love to!” he said taking a strawberry and dipping it in Whip Cream. “These are my favorite kind of fruit with Whip Cream!” he said with a smile before he bit into it. “Yum good Whip!” he said with a smile on his face.

Ryan looked at her for a moment. “Why is it that our friends are like that?” he asked her for a moment. “I wonder it’s because they want us to be happy!” he said with a smile on his face. “Especially our family. They can be tough but at least they are there.” he said with a small smile. “So you being a Weasley how does it feel to have some cousins in Slytherin and are they any fun?” he asked her for a moment not so sure why he asked her that for a moment. “And sure why not!” he said looking at her through his blue eyes and trying to look into her brown eyes. He loved those brown eyes but never let anyone know about that.

Ryan’s face blushed a bit when Rose had touched his hand. The next thing he knew was that her face was near hers. He wanted to kiss her. Her aroma smelled really good. He took in a deep breath and took in the yummy aroma that Rose was giving off. He really smiled when she said that she would love to go with him. He was even more surprised though that she kissed his cheek. He saw her pulled away and saw that he was waiting for something. Something deep down inside was telling him to kiss her right there and then. He wasn’t going to fight it at all. He took his free hand and held her chin and then placed his lips against hers softly and then pulled away after about two minutes. “Would you also like to be my girlfriend?” he asked her as he gently placed his forehead against hers!

Rose laughed a little when he talked about the Slytherin Gang and she knew that he was right."I am sure they do, though I am not to sure seeing as somany of my couins are apart of it." The only one that would give her crap would be Albus seeing as Rose was out here with a Gryffindor in the middle of the night and he would tell her that she should be with a Slytherin as he always does and Rose had told him so many times if you want me to date a Slythie then find her one that was not related to them and she ould give it a try and he never did. Rose watched as he took a starwberry and cream and she smiled, "They just happen to be my favorite to." As she smiled she took another bite and a drink of her wine.

Looking up at him as he smiled at her she knew exactly what he was talking about with friends, since Roxy had been bugging her for weeks about who or if she was going, Rose had joked around that she was gonna go with a Slythie just to get Albus off her back."Of course they want us to be happy. Think about it, if the roles were reversed we would be doing the same thing to them." At least Rose knew that she would since she had done that to Rox when it came to PJ. AS he asked his next question, she had been wiating for that to come up, Rose took a moment to answer that one and to find the exact words, looking down and then back up." To be completely honest with you, it's not something that I think about all that much. Yeah they may be Slytherin's but they are my cousins and no matter what I love them and yes they are alot of fun." Rose smiled again as their eyes met again, my she could just drowned in his eyes.

Rose was a bit surprised that he had flushed a little and she thought it was so cute and as she looked into his eyes and what was currently going through her head was that she really wanted to kiss him but she was unsure about how he would react so as she watched him she still had her hand on his and she gazed into his eyes after kissing his cheek, she watched as his hand came to her chin and she felt a slight shiver run down her back and she smiled. As he pressed his lips to hers so softly, Rose kissed him right back just as soft. As he pulled away, a slight frown appeared, but then she heard his next question and quickly her frown was a smile and a wide one, he had asked her to be his girlfriend, she had waited so long to hear those words that she knew what her answer would be adjusting herself so that she comfortable she looked into his eyes "My answer is Yes!" As she said her answer she gently placed her lips to his again.

Ryan smiled a bit when she was talking and he took in every word that she was saying. "It's hard to figure out who is in the gang and who is not in the gang. They keep it will hidden. It's too bad about Dannielle. If there was a way to get her back. The DA needs her I know it!" he said with a small smile. "I mean it's too bad that her mother has been pa*sed away but does that mean she has to give up the DA? Wouldn't that make someone determind to fight against the evil group even more?" he asked her for a moment. He smiled though when she said that Strawberries were her favorite. "I'll have to remember that!" he said with a smile on his face.

Ryan looked at her for a moment. "Are you sure about that? Some of my friends asked me why I never ask them who they are hoping to be with. And I answered that all I want is for them to be happy. If there is a girl don't be shy asking her out. Of course their reply is look who's talkin!" he said with a smile. He happened to like Rose but never really could figure out how to ask her to be his girlfriend. He loked at her for a moment. "Well that's a good thing I guess. Family is family and you should always love them for who they are and not for who they aren't!" he said with a smile.

He waited for her to answer his question. He hoped that she wasn't going to say no. That would be a hard one. He really did enjoying her company. He really enjoyed sitting there on the sand in the middle of the night and eatting strawberries and drinking wine with her. He also thought she looked really beautiful under the stars and the moonlight. He saw her frown and thought the worse. She is going to say no I know it he thought as he saw her smile was a really wide smile and her answer came to him and he was really glad he took the chance and kissed her right back when she had kissed him.

Rose's smile sort of faded as they started to talk about the gang and the DA, the gang had taken on of their members and that was hurting them. Rose truly like Dani and was upset that she had left and joined the gang."Let's say they try and keep it hidden, but as I know alot of them I find out some things." She winked at him and smiled again. "I am sure that Phoenix is trying to figure oyt some plan to get her back, before she is lost for good." Rose looked up and just as she did she remembered overhearing Albus and Edie talking about Dannie and Scor or so she thought, she pushed that back in her mind. She smiled at him as they both ate the strawberries and cream.

She gave him a sideways smile as he responded to what she had said."I believe so, as I know from experience myself."She wined at him and she smiled at him since she was sure that Pj had been bothering Ty about it all, as she haerd from Rox. She was happy that she ws here with him as she for some reason that she was always so shy around him since she was not that way with another guys that she dated in her past,but Ry brought something out in her and she could not help but he always made her smile and she loved that and she had wished for so long that he would ask her out."Yes, they are and I love them at times,but as any family is we do have our disgareements." She looked down as she knew that they had alot of them espcially after the war.

As Rose smiled at him, she was happy that he had finaly asked her and she could not help but want to kiss him more since she had wanted to for so long. She watched his face and she giggled had he really thought she was going to say no. She kept her eyes on him as she kissed him and then he kissed her back, she smiled as they continued to kiss and she broke away and she looked out to the water and she got an idea, standing up she took off her jacket and her outer clothing to reveal her bathing suit and she sat back down this time she sat on his lap and she smiled."Would you care to go for a swim?" She smiled and she kissed him again and placed her head on his chest and her hand in his.
