Skylar walked through the forest as he did a little hunting of his own. He needed to get a break and get some time away from everyone else as they were starting to get under his skin. He knew that everything at this point in time was crazy as everyone was getting ready for the big Slytherin Gang Halloween bash at his place at the end of the month. He also knew that it was Scorpius’s seventeenth birthday that night. He started to wonder what all would come and happen on that night. He started to wonder if maybe the boy was going to change his mind. He paused to watch a herd of deer slowly moving through the blue era. He liked this time, as it was just after twilight and right before pure darkness. He knelt down as he watched the deer. He listened to their heart beats and the blood pulsing through their veins.

After a while of watching they moved on, he noticed a few that were falling behind the rest of the herd. He smirked as the black strips crept over his skin, his eyes turning to crimson as his fangs grew out. He moved swiftly and quietly as he dodged around the trees and over the forest grounds until he was right by the deer. He instantly attacked it, shoving it strongly as it struggled to the ground with him as he found the veins with ease and bit into the deer’s neck. He could taste that sweet bitter coppery flavour as he took in the blood. He felt the pure pleasure it brought him as he sucked and drank the blood. He knew that it was a feeling and a pleasure that isn’t very common as they have new modern ways to get blood. After he fed, he pulled back from the deer. He could still hear it’s heart beat. It was weak but he knew that it would survive unless another wild animal got to it. He knew that chances are wolves would take it.

His mind moved with the thoughts of upcoming events. He knew that October was always a hellish month around the haven. He didn’t ever understand why. He did hope that this following year would be different as Tristan has finally found a full love interest; Aidan has finally accepted much of what was going on. He knew that even Blake has found a common love interest. He did want to make it apparent that he wanted to get acquainted with Scorpius’s new interest before it was too late. He has heard a few things about her from the others. He decided with it being October and Scorpius was planning his getaway with the young lady, it would be only right for him to approach her and introduce himself.

He started to wonder if the young lady would even appear.

Dannie was sitting in her dorm room reading a book about Dueling. For some reason Scor had her mind drifting on Dueling lately. She wondered how you were suppose to remember all the moves that were in the book she was reading. She was really enjoying the book that she was reading. It had looked good and she had checked out from the library and she had to smile at that because she really enjoyed the moment that the author really knew his or her stuff about dueling. But reading and doing was two different things. She was going have to remember when the next time she sees him to teach her a few simple dueling spells that will work to just keep them away until help can come. Or at least enough to protect herself.

Getting hungry a bit she walked down to the kitchen without worry. She knew that Slytherin Prefects wouldn’t do anything to her. Well at least Albus anyways. She wasn’t sure about Shayleigh. Finding her way to the kitchen without trouble she grabbed some cookies and some licorice and some pastries and went back to the Gryffindor Girls dorm and started to read her book again. She ate at least a few cookies when an owl came through the window. As soon as she read the letter from Skylar her heart jumped. He wanted to meet her and he wanted her to be punctual as well. Her heart started pounding against her chest. Nerves were coming through and it wasn’t stopping any time soon. For some reason she wasn’t scared she was just nervous. She never talked to a Vampire before. Well not a Male one. She had spoken to Kita but she was a girl.

Getting changed into some jeans and nice top she put the rest of her snacks into her pockets of her white hoodie. She put on some sandals that went well with the outfit. She ran a brush though her hair and pulled it into a half ponytail. She didn’t know why she was dressing up for the guy but she wanted to impress him somehow. Why did he want to meet her though and by the Whomping Willow. ”Of all places he had to choose the Whomping Willow. She started her way onto meet Skylar for a moment and stopped near the Big Oak doors and she ran into Eddie. ”It’ll be alright go meet Skylar and don’t be late. You don’t want to keep him waiting!” he had told her with a small smile and made his way to the kitchen which was where he was going. She looked at her watch and had to make a run for it. She stopped for a moment. It’ll be alright. I must be brave and jump over this hurdle. If I can meet Skylar and then maybe I’ll be able to meet Callista without worry! she thought to herself as she continued towards the place where he wanted to meet her. She saw him though and walked up to her. ”Hello my name is Dannielle Wood but please call me Dannie. I don’t like to be called by Dannielle.” she said with a nervous smile.

Skylar stood near the tree as he waited for Dannie to show up. He was a patient man even though many figured that he wasn’t. He knew that she would come but he didn’t know if she would be on time. He started to pace slightly near the tree as he allowed his mind to ramble on about all sorts of things. He thought about contacting Whisper to see if she was busy or not to see if she wanted to join this little meeting but he decided that for the time being he’d wait to see what exactly would unfold. He paused in his pacing as he glanced around the area and then up the path to see if he could see anything or anyone. True enough, this fine evening was showing that there was nothing around. Not even the faintest scent of blood or hearing of any heart beats.

Looking over he noticed that there was a figure as he heard the heart beat in the hushed distant. He watched the figure from the corner of his eyes as it grew closer. As the breeze went through he picked up the scent and knew that it was Dannielle. He watched as she grew closer but he could also pick out the scent that she was nervous. He smiled inwardly as he turned to approach and greet her. He figured that he would make a point to compliment her on her punctuality. He stopped only a few feet away from where he had been standing as he watched her walk up and over to him. He looked her over carefully and listened to her speak. He didn’t respond for a while as he did eventually move around her looking her over as if he was taking in her measurements. He returned to his original position when she first walked up.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He said in a very polite yet very clear tone of voice. “I am Rycerz Skylar. You may address myself as Skylar.” He stated keeping the clean crisp tone to his voice. He glance her over once more, “You are very nervous, I see.” He said knowing full well that he was stating the obvious. “Now the question is, is it because I am a vampire? Or is it because I’m male? Or is it because you have heard so much about me from various students? Or because a few common acquaintances of ours have told stories?” he questioned with a vague smile. “Ms. Wood, you have no reason to be nervous of myself.” He said. “I have fed before I arrived here, just so I wouldn’t find your blood intriguing.” He added with a slight smile and laugh. “Ms. Wood, I’m not trying to frighten you and if I have I do ask for your apology. I am nothing of that sort. I am simply a student, just like every other student, only I have super human strength, speed, dexterity, sight, smell, hearing, and taste. Oh and I have long fangs when I release them and strips.” He said with a smile as he tried to lighten the atmosphere.

He glanced up to the stars and the faint moon which hung in the sky. “I asked you here as Scorpius has spoke highly of you.” He said. “Scorpius has also spoke much about you, even last year. You had made quite the impression on him as his life crashed down around him this past year.” He added. “I only wished to meet the girl who not only spent his world spinning into disaster but also gave him the strength to return empowered to do the right thing.” He told her.

Dannie looked at him as he spoke. Remember what Scorpius had told her last year. “It’s a pleasure to meet you too!” she said with a nervous tone. “Skylar!” she added. She looked at him a bit. “Well I think it’s mainly because you are the I guess the Leader of your clan.” she said still nervous a bit. When he told her that she had no reason to be nervous of him she wanted to laugh but couldn’t and let out a small smile. She took a few deep breaths to get the nerves out but it wasn’t working. Why is she so nervous about anyways? Was it because he asked to see her and not that she ran into him. Well that probably wouldn’t have been a real smart idea. “Apology accepted!” she said with a small smile and then she gave him a curious look on her face. “Wait you got great speed?” she asked him for a moment with a small smile. She was impressed. “Does all vampires have great speed?” she asked him for a moment.

Dannie looked at him for a moment. “Scorpius talked about me highly?” she asked him for a moment. She thought back the two times they spoke to each other. They were both great times and she smiled at the thought. Just thinking of Scorpius was making her calm down a bit. Being less nervous she listened to what else he had to tell her. “I was well I guess you can say at the right place at the right moment?” she said with a small smile. “I didn’t even know he was going to walk into the bathroom. I guess I somehow thought he was one angry person who just needed someone to talk to and let out stress. He of course denied that. But I didn’t fear him for some reason and that surprised him.” she said with a small smile remembering their first time talking.

“It’s funny though. I feel so comfortable around him. And I feel well I guess I don’t know accepted for who I am and not just for another Quidditch lover Freak Wood as some became to think of me as.” she said with a small frown. “I am so much more than just a Quidditch lover freak.” she said with a small smile. “I love to sing and dance. It’s something I enjoy doing!” she said no longer feeling nervous around him. It took a bit longer around him. She looked at him for a moment. She had to think about what he had just said to her. “Wait a minute. I spent his world spinning into disaster but also gave him the strength to return empowered to do the right thing?” she asked him with a small frown. “How did I manage to do all that?” she asked him for a moment. “And just to let you know it isn’t my fault that Kota and him broke up. It’s all his own doing!” she said before she could get blamed even though she knows she was already getting blamed by Callista. “It’s my fault.” she said as she looked at the Castle for a moment. She wondered why Callista was blaming her for it.

Skylar watched Dannie and could see that she was having a lot of trouble trying to relax. He smiled faintly as he glanced to the starry sky, “You know, I am very old even though I don’t look it. I do give off sometimes that I am very polite, orderly and strict.” He said before he looked back to her. He offered his arm to her. “Shall we walk and talk?” he questioned. “As a vampires, we all have the ability to travel faster than humans however some vampires are slightly faster than others. For example, Natalia Blackwell, Blake’s sister. She is faster than all the others in the clan. She is one of the fastest vampires we all know. If we have to get somewhere swifter then we can get ourselves, we simply ask her to take us or to take the message.” He explained.

He nodded slowly, “Yes. He has spoke about you. The help that you gave him and how open he became with you yet you were in the DA and he gave you everything you would need to turn him over yet you kept it to yourself.” He said delicately. “Scorpius said that you cleared his mind. You made everything change for him and he knew where he had to go, what he had to do and what he needed.” He added keeping the same tone, “I believe it was fate. You’re brother on the other hand is not approving of your relationship towards Scorpius. Scorpius is a handful and he’s not a boy. Scorpius has lived through many situations and Scorpius is more of a man then any other student his age and even those older than him at Hogwarts.” He glanced to the young lady, “Scorpius is use to people either fearing him or attacking him. He did mention that trait about you. He said at first you seemed to be taken by him but as you both spent time with each other he said that he found himself falling fast for you. He talked about stealing your first kiss as you haven’t ever been kissed before. He also mentioned that he couldn’t let it go and the feelings you brought out in him.” he said. “He was in a hard place last year. He was a boy who suddenly and quickly found himself in a man’s world where he wasn’t fully prepared. He caught many lucky breaks and the luckiest one of all was that day he met you.”

“Scorpius mentioned that there was more to you then just Quidditch. I have to admit, I’ve seen my friend check out a few games but since you came into his life; he has been more around the pitch lately watching you play, even practice.” He said “I do believe whatever the spark was that happened last year between the two of you stuck with you both. He broke up with Dakota a few times after that event. Crew held him off so he made things right with Dakota. Finally, she had enough strength to tell him that it is over between the two of them and he needs to seek you out.” He smiled with a slight husky laugh, “He figured it was some trick since that isn’t like Dakota at all. You certainly created some waves without trying.” He added. He looked to Dannie steadily for a moment, “That is by no means to upset you.” He said with a vague smile, “Someone who is strong enough to stick to another person like that says something. Scorpius is a man he can sort out those two girls. You are a brave woman to step into that with his to ladies-Callista and Dakota.” He paused for a moment as he moved his free hand behind his back. “He mentioned many times his hope where you’d join the Slytherin gang. He told me that he heard you sing and watched you dance. He mentioned that he hasn’t forgotten it and he requested that you perform this year at the Slytherin Gang Bash. He requested it the first chance he had after you joined the gang. I have Yumiko and Yuriko making arrangements for you so I do hope you are comfortable in performing.” He noticed that she started to relax about him.

“Yes, you changed everything in his world. You someone helped him cross that bridge from boyhood to manhood.” He said with pride. “I’m proud of him and I have to thank you for helping him with that bridge. He seemed to struggle with it and his father wasn’t of much help.” He said. “Do not take that as a bad thing. Everything that you have done for him is more than anyone else has in a long time. You set him up and sent him on his way with a new found strength and bravery.” He chuckled, “I don’t know how you managed to reach him in that but you did and you stole his heart just as he has stolen yours from my understanding. No one is blaming you for what has happened with Scorpius and Dakota.” He said before he dropped for a moment to look at her, “It is not your fault for what has happened. It is the line of the fates.”

Dannie watched Skylar look up the starry sky. She listened to what he had said for a moment. She was still a bit nervous and she knew she had no feeling to be but it was something she could not help. Why was it that she did not fear Scorpius but fears Skylar. Weren’t they in the same house as Scor? Was he not a Vampire and then she wondered for a moment. “Do you mind me asking how old you are really then?” she asked him for a moment. She was curious on how old this guy was. Nervously she took his arm. “S-sure!” she said stuttering a bit there. She listened to what else he had to say and she let out a small smile. “That sounds kind of fun!” she said with a smile on her face.

Dannie listened to Skylar for a moment. “Well I promised I would keep it a secret. And I don’t break promises.” she said with a small smile again. She was calming down and she knew it. She listened to what he had to say and she was glad for one that she had helped him out. “Yeah well he is the older one of the four of us that’s left at Hogwarts. I have an older sister and three big brothers. Crew being the oldest brother I think he has to protect me from getting hurt. And part of me thinks that he thinks I’m going to get hurt but what he doesn’t realize that either way I may get hurt Scor or not. I could be with another guy who wasn’t Scor and if that guy broke up with me I would get hurt that way as well. Scor maybe my first guy that I actually like and I think he knows that and I think that is why he’s so against it or some other reasons. He told me he was afraid I’m going to change.” she said with a small smile. “I can see that because he had told me a few things that happens at parties that you hold.” she said with a small smile. She listened to him speak again for a moment. “I consider that one of my luckiest days too. I mean he could have just hurt me but he didn’t. He well did start off a bit rude but saw that I was not afraid of him even though I knew I should have been afraid of him especially after he told he was the Slytherin Gang Leader. But then again I didn’t even knew there was a such group. Well until he told me anyways.” she said with a smile on her face.

“He has been?” she asked him for a moment in surprise for a moment. She hadn’t seen him there. Was he good at hiding or something. “How come I’ve never seen him there during practices then?” she asked him for a moment. She was so curious if he was there why didn’t she see him there. She was flying around a lot. Well unless he was standing under something that can hide him well enough. She has seen him though during the games. But she hadn’t seen him at Practices. As he spoke she listened to what he had to say. “Really?” she asked him for a moment. “Well I know I couldn’t stop thinking of him but when my mother pa*sed away during the war I felt really sad and alone and didn’t really know who to talk to. I knew one thing. None of the DA members actually came by to try to talk to me or showed my sympathy or just sat there and listened. Scor has done that. He sat there and just listened to me when we ran into each other.” she said with a smile on her face. “In the kitchen this time and not in Moaning Myrtle’s Bathroom!” she added in a smile. She listened to what he had said again. She was about to say she didn’t mean to when he said that wasn’t mean to upset her. She looked at him for a moment. “Just a question did he ask you not to upset me?” she asked him with a small smile. Did he mentioned that we have the same birthdays?” she asked him for a moment with a smile on her face. “Arrangements? What kind of arrangements if you don’t mind me asking?” she asked him for a moment. She was still a bit surprised to hear that he was telling her that she was going to be singing in front of a lot of people. “Well I performed my parents and two of my brothers and Scor.” she said with a small smile. “That’s only five people but I think I can manage if I think it’s just Scorpius and me in Moaning Myrtle’s Bathroom again.” she said with a small smile.

Dannie looked at him for a moment. “I did that?” she asked him for a moment with a smile on her face. “I Dannielle Marie Wood had done that for Scor?” she asked him in disbelieve. “Wow!” was all that she could say to that. “Your welcome!” she said with a smile on her face. Even more relaxed now. She listened to what he was saying. She was amazed that she could do all that and not even lift a single finger. “I did that? I helped him. Wow!” she said with a smile. “To let you know I haven’t spilled anything yet and not going to any day soon.” she said with a smile on her face. “Like I said I keep my promises.” she added to that. “You are wrong there. Well the blaming part.” she said with a hint of a frown. “Callista is blaming me. Well Crew told me it’s because she is super duper protective of Scorpius.” she said with a frown now. “So in her eyes it is my fault. But everyone well mostly everyone is telling me it isn’t my fault. Crew told me to be careful around Dakota and Callista better yet not to be alone with them anyways. But I know it isn’t my fault.” she said with a small smile.

“What Callista doesn’t know is that I’m jealous of her. But for some reason I also fear her!” she told him as she came to a stop for a moment and just sat on the ground not caring if the dirt on the ground would ruin her jeans or not and sat chris cross applesauce style. Pulling out a licorice wand from her pocket of her white hoodie that she had forgotten that she had and bit into it as she thought of what to say. “She is so close to Scorpius. I wish that I was that close to Crew. I didn’t even knew he was protective of me this whole entire time.” she said with a small smile. “For the first time I had yelled at my brother and that surprised him. I had never yelled at him before but he needed to see that avoiding me was hurting me in the long run. And that I needed him when he wasn’t there when he pointed out that dad likes me and so does my other two brothers but what he doesn’t get is that I do need him.” she said with a small smile. “I love my brother Crew but I know that now we could get to know each other better.” she said with a smile on her face. “A lot of people thinks I joined the Gang to get closer to Scor. But what they don’t know is that I joined to be closer to my brother. But even my brother thinks I joined to get closer to Scor which is just not true.” she said for a moment as she took another bite of her licorice wand. She dug into her pocket and grabbed a cookie. “Care for a cookie?” she asked him for a moment holding one out for him to take if he wanted it. “Well okay I admit part of it is to get closer to Scor but I mostly joined for my brother.” she admitted. “Just don’t tell that to Crew.” she said as ate the last bite of the licorice wand. She looked at him for a moment. “Mind if I call you Sky?” she asked him for a moment.

Skylar blinked for a moment as he looked at her almost confused and puzzled before he smiled and his features softened. “Why do you find myself so intimidating?” he questioned. “My actual age?” he questioned. “Well, roughly I can say I’m over eight centuries old. To be exact...” he smiled and laughed slightly, “Would make me feel really old.” He added as he started to slowly walk with the girl. “I have been on my own for about six centuries.” He said. “Yes, it is a lot fun. We will have to take you one day.” He added.

Skylar chuckled, “I’m sure that was a blow to Scorpius’s ego to find out that there was a person who never heard of the Slytherin gang.” He said sounding extremely amused. “You seem to have a good hold on things.” He said, “I believe when it comes to Crew and Scorpius over you, it runs more than just you getting hurt. As men we all have the same traits. We talk about our women. One it could be odd for Crew and Scorpius since you are Crew’s sister. Point two is that if you and Scorpius breaks up where does that leave their friendship? That is why normally, men do not date the sisters to their friends or their friends Ex’s.” He explained. “Cruento also knows what Scorpius is like. We’ve all watched Scorpius interact with the ladies. He is something of a ladies man. Scorpius knows how to sweet talk anyone into almost anything. He also knows the right movements to make any woman let their guard down so he can move in. By the time she catches up, he’s made all his moves. We all know that Scorpius doesn’t fear anyone so no one can use fear to have him back down. We also know that once Scorpius has his eyes on something there is no stopping him. Not even Callista can derail him from his total plan once he is set on it since he wants to see how close he can get to his goal before he lets it go and Callista has to really work at him sometimes in order to get that to happen.” He added. “Most likely, Cruento is more worried about your virginity, innocence, and his friendship.” He smiled, “As for any other guy, they would be afraid of any one of us to really do anything with you. It’s a way of protecting you.” He glanced to her, “However, what Cruento doesn’t know, is that Scorpius does actually care for you. Therefore, you would be treated differently, then say any other woman that he’s just trying to pick up for some fun. If you know what I mean.”

Skylar nodded as he listened to her. “You are asking about the master of knowing everything, doing many things seeing and hearing things and not ever being seen himself.” He said with a vague smile. “He has a way to watch where he won’t be seen. He knew that if he was seen there’d be a lot of questions yet he is fascinated by you and he finds peace and silence when he does watch you and is in your presence.” He added. “Tis the thought that counts, and he did try. He even asked me to cover for him. His ladies are not easily fooled.” He added. “Scorpius is a great man but many don’t see his greatness.” He laughed, “That is an unusual place to meet someone.” He watched her from the corner of his eyes. “Scorpius doesn’t know that I sent you a request to meet you. I took that out on my own. He might have vaguely mentioned that to me.” He tried not to give anything away. “Well, Scorpius wants to make sure that this comes off without a hitch. He wants the best for you when you step out on stage. So, we need to make arrangements for the lighting, sound, and anything else that might go into this.” He looked to her with a concerned looked, “So long as it doesn’t burn the haven down.” He added. “Scorpius will be watching you so I’m sure if you focus in on him, you’ll do just fine.”

He nodded as he continued to slowly walk in the area of the tree. “Yes, you did all of that.” he said with a smile and a gentle laugh. “I can see that is a boost to yourself.” He added, “You really did help Scorpius when he needed to clear out his mind. We were of no help to him as I as having my own problems with the vampire clan. Everyone thought they had the right of way.” He said with a smile and shook his head. “Scorpius carries many deep dark secrets. Many that would put him away for life. As his friends, we took an oath to him swearing not to share anything he lets us in with. In return, he does everything in his power to help us and protect what we have to. Many times, he laid his life down for us.” He said. “You hold his life in your hands when you hold his secrets and by holding his life you hold his sisters life, Dakotas, and their son; Lucius. In return he’d do anything and everything for you. You will earn everyone’s trust in time. What matters is Scorpius’s trust. He can convince anyone to trust you so long as he trusts you. From what I’ve seen, heard, and know he trust you very much for how much he cares about you.” He nodded as he listened to her, “Yes, Callista is very protective of Scorpius. She’s only ever had him in her life to depend on. He makes everything go away from her including her nightmares. He has shared a room with her for as long as I have known them.” He told her. “She reacted the same way with Dakota and Scorpius. She is use to Scorpius being hers and sharing with him that when another woman steps in she fears everything is going to stop and she’s going to be removed from the picture.” He said. “I think Dakota is okay as she has now had enough time to calm down. But for the first time it might be best to have Scorpius or your brother or even myself around. Callista is the one you’ll need to worry about more. She’s deadly and she has a way with Scorpius that he will do anything for her. And when the two of them are working together, fear since it can’t be anything good.”

“Maybe it’s because you fear what she could do to your relationship with Scorpius?” he questioned when he stopped and looked at her as she sat down. He blinked for a moment before he knelt down across from her. He nodded slowly as he listened to everything she had to say and watched her expressions. He was starting to understand why Scorpius was attracted to this girl. He could see how she was her own but at the same time, he could also see Callie acting the exact same way. He smiled for a moment before he laughed. “You may call me Sky.” He said, as he reached over and took a cookie. “Thank you.” He said as he took a bite and listened to her. “Well, I believe it’s the time line. You met Scorpius last year and learned of the gang. Then you left the DA, then you meet up with Scorpius, spent a night with him, made out with him, swam with him, and then you ended up in the Gang.” He said. “It’s all about him so that is how the conclusion of why you are in the gang. Which, even if that was the case, you wouldn’t be the first. He is the main reason the ladies join the gang. That way they can all get a chance to be close to him, touch him, kiss him, who knows.” He stated. He took another bite of the cookie as he thought about what she said. “I’m sure you joined to be close to your brother as well as to make things easier to for you and Scorpius. I know that Scorpius would have seen you regardless but he would have pushed in his own way to get you into the gang so he wouldn’t have to sneak around with you. After all, from his position it would look bad for him to be with a DA member.” He smiled, “As for your secret. It is safe with me.”

Dannie looked at him for a moment. Why did she find him so intimidating? She couldn’t come up with why. “I don’t know really. But I guess it’s a feeling I really can’t explain. I really want to explain but I don’t know how or why.” she said a bit nervous. “I‘m not scared of you though. Just nervous!” she said with a small nervous smile. “To be honest I did act different around Scorpius when we first actually started talking a bit but that went away pretty quickly. I felt comfortable enough and actually found him intriguing. As he found me intriguing.” she said with a small smile. She had to laugh he said would make me feel really old. “You ought to!” she said with a smile on her face.

Dannie listened to him when he chuckled. “He said that was sweet blow right where it hurts!” she said with a small smile on her face. She looked at him and listened. “That’s good!” she said with a smile and listened again. To her his voice was a bit soft. She looked at him for a moment with an raised eyebrow. How can all men have the same traits. Her brother could play music while Scorpius told her that he couldn’t carry a tone. But then she thought that was interest and not traits. “Okay you may got a point there but I have a few of my own. One Crew and I aren’t that close like Scorpius and Callista is. Two they could still be friends because Scor didn’t date Crew he dated me. And Crew and I don’t look much a like at all. He has blonde hair I think while I have brown.” she said with a small smile on that one. She listened to him for a moment. “So I’ve heard. Crew told me that too!” she said with a small smile. She listened to him some more. She smiled a bit though to know that her big brother does care about her once again. It gave her a rea*suring feeling that her brother does care about her. “Really?” she asked him for a moment. “A way of protecting me? Are there any other ways of protecting oneself?” she asked him for a moment. She had to think for a moment. How would she know. She never really seen him with another girl. She may have seen him around Dakota. She looked at him for a moment. “How so?” she asked him with a smile on she had to ask him that.

She listened to him speak again. She had to smile on that for a moment. She liked the feeling that he had done that. “He’s fascinated by me?” she asked him for a moment. “I think he told me that the night when I became part of the Gang he told me well after we got to the Black Lake after the Kitchen that it was one of his best moments. I know it was one of mine too.” she said with a smile on her face. “You are right. It’s the thought that counts.” she said with a smile on her face. “I’m glad that he did try that makes me feel a bit better.” she said with a smile on her face. “I know but it gave the privacy that he needed I guess. And I just listened.” she said with a small smile. “He told me that he went in there to think but wasn’t expecting to run into. In fact I think he tried to get me out but I just found him intriguing than anything else.” she said with a small smile. “I didn’t run like most people would. I just stood there and looked at him. Until he realized that I wasn’t going anywhere and I wasn’t afraid of him.” she said with a smile on her face. “That surprised him by the way. I don’t think he met someone who wasn’t afraid of him until he met me.” she said with a small smile. She had a feeling he was watching her from the corner of his eyes. “He doesn’t know about this?” she asked him for a moment. “Why not?” she asked him for a moment. “Would that include make-up?” she asked him for a moment. She wasn’t sure how to put on make-up and probably would never figure it out if no girl would show her how now that her mother was dead. “The haven won’t be burned down.” she said with a smile on her face. “I’m glad he’ll be watching me. And I think I’ll focus on him.” she said with a smile on her face.

She smiled a bit when he said that. She smiled a bit more he at what he had told her. “Well I sort of need that at the moment. I still miss her. My mom. She’s dead.” she said with a small frown but listened to what he was saying. She smiled again though. She could never really keep a frown though. She hadn’t realized that she held his life and not only his but Callista’s, Dakota’s and Lucius’s even though he probably couldn’t speak yet. “Wow that is a lot of lives.” she said with a smile on her face. And you are right I guess. Scorpius Trust is what matters.” she said with a smile on her face. “Well I’m glad that he trusts me and cares about me. I trust him and I also care about him a lot too.” she said with a smile on her face. She then thought of Callista and actually shivered a bit. “There is one more person who seems to be really jealous of me and that would have to be Athena. For some reason I know she could hurt me pretty bad but I’m not afraid of her. And the scary thing is that she is in my house and I am not going let her scare me.” she said with a smile on her face. “And that I can believe. The two of them together would mean havoc.” she said with a small smile. “He’s an honest guy he is. Handsome too.” she said with a smile on her face.

“That sounds a bit right I think!” she said with a small smile on her face. She saw him blink for a moment. Like he had to take a second glance. She noticed him watching her and wondered what he was thinking at that moment. “What are you thinking at the moment?” she asked him as she saw that he took the cookie and she smiled. “Your Welcome Sky” she said with a smile on her face. She saw him taking a bite and then listened to what he had said. “That sounds right but you got the order wrong. Met him last year and learned of the gang. Quit the DA shortly after my mother pa*sed away. Met up with Scor. Spent a nigh with him and then kissed him. Joined the gang. Kissed him some more and then swam with him.” she said with a smile on her face. She was now more calmer with him. She could tell her heart was no longer pounding against her chest. “Well all but Athena!” she said with a small smile on her face. “When my mother pa*sed away I realized that I want to get closer to Crew. For one thing he could die the next day and I think I regret not speaking to him about how I felt when he ignored me most of the time. It hurt. I yelled at him though just so he could get the message and I cried. He actually admitted that he does care about me but he was surprised that I yelled at him. I’ve never yelled at him and apparently he thought I was the family goodie two shoes.” she said with a small smile. “He would have done that? He said he would have to be more cautious in asking me out and where to go without the DA in the way!” she said with a smile on her face. “Now though he doesn’t have to worry about the no good for nothing DA.” she said and she thought she sounded like a broken record for a moment. “Yeah I know it would look bad for him to be with a DA member.” she said with a smile. “Good!” was all she could say.

Skylar nodded slowly as he listened to her. “Focus on Scorpius, you seem to relax when you focus on him.” he stated with a vague smile. “I’m old yes, but I don’t need to feel old. After all, how old do I look?” he questioned. “It’s why I go to school. It’s boring and I don’t have to work really hard but I can stay at the top of the cla*s and do what I want instead of wasting time doing all the home work.” He had to smile as she finally laughed. He was hoping now that she would be a little more at ease.

He smiled and nodded, “That does sound about right.” He glanced to her and listened; he did have to smile, “Sadly, I could picture Cruento and Scorpius. Cruento would be the lady in that relationship. But you’re right. You are the one dating Scorpius. Guys do talk about their dates not as openly and fully as the women do but none the less guys still do. Listening to that about a sister is sometimes awkward and not usually welcomed.” He paused for a moment. “Well, most brothers and sisters like to have their own lives. Scorpius at first was forced to take Callista under his wing to protect her. When she had her accident that was when Scorpius’s eyes were opened and latched onto her. He wouldn’t let anyone near her since she didn’t want them near her. Scorpius has protected her, been there for her and shared a room with her for most of his life. It comes as second nature to him. Which is also why he’s behind the other students his age.” he explained. “Draco wasn’t around a lot and their mother picked things she needed to do. So, Scorpius was always left. He adjusted to everything just as Callista has. Honestly, it’s good to be close to your siblings, but sometimes, there is too close and Scorpius and Callista are too close. Callista believes that there isn’t anyone else in the world that can keep her safe. He is her walking safety net. No one can get near her without going through him and any who touches her could very well lose their life by his hand. He has allowed her to see fights and she was in the war, but she didn’t ever see a dead body. Scorpius allows her to live her life but anything out of place in his eyes gets removed just as Callista does the same for him. If you watch Scorpius and Callista long enough in an area you’ll see their bond. You’ll see that you can get close but you can’t break through which is why they are too close. One can’t survive without the other. I don’t know how many times the one refused to leave the room when the other was sick or in Scorpius’s case poisoned. She was ready to end everything right there if he died. Just as Scorpius came to me to extend his deal to cover Callista. The same night as I change Scorpius into a Vampire, Callista gets turned as well and in that case, chances that Dakota will turn are higher yet.” He explained. “I’m not sure if Scorpius mentioned any of that to you, however, you have a right to know what is going on, what things are like with the Malfoy’s and what you are walking into. Dakota could tell you a lot more of how things are like than I can. I can understand how you’d like to have a relationship like theirs but don’t push too hard for a relationship with theirs. You both need a life as well.” He stated. “Or maybe he does and he dyes it like many others.” He looked to Dannie, “Be careful with the Malfoys. Scorpius is a great man and he is capable of many things and he has a bright future ahead of him. But he is deadly where anything rises over Callie. I’m a demon of the night with my own strengths and advantages but even I fell the mercy of Scorpius's hand. Anyway, that’s just little information on the Malfoys which I’m sure Cruento also told you and warned you about. They are great people and they’d do a lot for each other and those that each other cares for. Yes really, and he doesn’t want to see you hurt. Friends run deep but family is always deeper. Of course there are ways to protect oneself. The main way is to say ‘No’ or ‘Stop’” He said. “Scorpius would spend time with you. Treat you like a queen and whatever you wanted he’d give you. In other words, he’d treat you like he does with Callie. Any other girl that he went around just for a sense of fun, if you will, he would hit on them-sweep them off their feet charm them to the extreme then leave them. Chances are that’s why so many girls follow him around and so many girls all want to fight over him.” he shrugged as he brushed it all off. “Only those who meet his sister mean anything to him.”

“Yes, he is.” He said as he listened to her. He smiled as he listened to her. He did have admit that she seemed to have him pegged pretty good. He knew when Scor wanted to be alone he’d do almost anything to be left alone. “He most likely did want you to leave but it also goes to show that maybe things were fate. Scor is the type that he will do what it takes if he wanted to be alone. He clearly didn’t mind you. Most people do fear him since he’s in the gang, he’s the leader of it, and he’s a Malfoy. A deadly Malfoy unlike Draco.” He continued to listen to her speak about her first encounter with Scorpius. “Because I never bothered to let Scorpius know that I planned on meeting you and when. Since, I do things when I have the opportunity. Too many things is already planned out in life. Not to mention when things do get planned out something usually comes up around the haven to spoil the plans.” He added. He nodded slowly, “yes, that would include make-up. I’m sure Yuriko or Kita could help you with that if need be. Kita has performed a lot in her human life. I do believe she’s going to do some performing as well.” He said as he looked up but still held a steady gaze from the corner of his eyes ever so often.

“Scorpius has mentioned your mother. My condolences.” He paused for a moment before he looked to her, “What was your mother like?” he questioned. “Yes there is. Scorpius holds on to all of them and cleans everything up that he makes it all disappear. Anything that he goes down for will bring both ladies down and destroy their son. Like it or not, Scorpius has something watching out for him.” he nodded, “Yes, the rest of the gang will fall into place over time however if Scorpius trusts you, then you are unstoppable.” He added. “You will have the odd person either trying to break you and Scorpius apart or warn you to be careful with Scorpius. Remember when it comes to Scorpius he is respectful, just say no. When it comes to everyone else, it’s Scorpius’s choice. When it comes to you and whether or not your a traitor you don’t betray that which matters most to the heart in a game of love and war. Those who matter to Scorpius and that Scorpius matters to them, will come around to his choice, accept and move on.” He looked to her slightly concerned. “Are you cold?” He took his jacket off without waiting for a reply and put it around her shoulders. “Hm. Athena. The stalker as some call her.” He looked out ahead of them before he turned his gaze to the starry night. “My childer Kita, Blake, and Yuriko are in your house. They will help you when it comes to Athena.” he looked back to her to let her know that she didn’t have to worry.

“I am thinking that you are cute therefore I can understand why Scorpius didn’t harm you when he wanted to be alone last year. I am thinking that Scorpius picked up on your nature and your honesty as well as faithfulness that he opened up to you when he needed to. I am thinking that Scorpius has reached out in his own way to help you this year but I don’t believe he is going to let that go as he mentioned the fun he took you out for to show you that you could still hold her dear yet have fun and live your life. I am thinking that you have your work cut out for you when you go up against his sister and I am thinking about how you are similar to his sister. I am thinking about how you must feel about the absence of your mother and wondering why it took her death for you to quit the DA. I am thinking about how the two of you have only accidentally ran into each other and both times you both have gravitated towards the other ended up in a lustful situation only to pull back and change directions. I’m thinking about how much either of you really know each other. I’m thinking that knowing Scorpius he is rushing things, telling you everything about him or trying to tell you certain things about you to see if you will back off him or not. I’m thinking about what you could have possibly told him about yourself. I’m thinking of some of the usual and most basic questions and wondering if you would know Scorpius enough to answer them or if maybe by chance you are caught up in the same lust that he has towards you however, I also know that Scorpius does deeply care for you as he wants to present you to the gang and leaving with you and Callie for a few days.” He said before he turned back to her. “Scorpius can handle Athena and when in doubt you have Kita, Blake, and Yuriko who will help you. However, Yuriko is somewhat testy sometimes so do be careful. She might respect you as you are seeing Scorpius and Scorpius and Tristan are extremely close friends.” He added. “Cruento is difficult to get to know. It takes a lot to get to know him especially when he’s up to things.” He shook his head slightly. “He is human and you are his sister. No matter how much siblings push off they don’t like in the end, they do. It just takes a lot for that to come out. After all, you can’t hate more than love. Love is always one step ahead. Only monsters pure demons can hate since they can’t feel understand or acknowledge love. Chance are you did surprise him and anyone who follows rules, regulations, adults, and parents, most of the time are seen as such. Crew most likely figured that you were trying your best to live to your parents instead of seeing it as your own life and taking control of it.
