Hermione had spent the time since her husband died mostly alone, she was not doing anything that she normally would. She tended to drink and spend her time alone and away from others, it was not what Ron would have wanted but what did that matter? He was dead, she had to move on and live but she had no will to go on except her children. Even they had moved on away from her, so she was alone she knew it and it hurt her.
She had come here after just recently coming from work, she spent a good portion of her time here away from the home where memories of Ron ran rampant. She knew that if she didn't get over this soon she'd lose everything but her common sense had flown out the window. Hermione sat with a gla*s of Firewhiskey in her hand and felt that unless she met someone new she would be totally alone. Her whole life was crashing around her that included her children and the fact that she lost her husband. Her best friend wasn't doing so well either, Harry was mourning losses to.
For a while she just sat and drank thinking about what she should do about Ron's death and Harry and her. She knew that perhaps she and Harry should get closer and maybe then they would get over the death. She didn't think anything about Ginny at this moment, she was to concerned and self absorbed to care. She was sure that her life was not going to get any better only worse, she needed to ensure that she did all in her power to keep her children safe. But she didn't think that she could keep herself safe at this moment.

Tristan had a lot going on but it didn’t change the fact that Skylar still sent him out to get a few things for the slytherin gang party at his place. He figured that since he had to go out he could meet a few people while he was out and about before he had to head back. He figured it would be a great chance to catch up with a few people and their gossip of what was heard around the community. He figured it worked out for his interest since he could mingle with others to find things out and then let Skylar know if there is anything he needed to know. He would get to gathering things for the party later. Right now he was going to get a couple drinks and see what’s new, if anything.
He walked and glanced around as he made his way over to a table and sat down. He noticed a woman who looked really down. He could pick up the feeling of loss and mourning from her. He was slightly curious about it as he grabbed two firewhiskey’s. He decided that he would use his inviting charm with her in order to get close to her. He walked over and set one on the table. He looked directly into her eyes “You’re empty” he took in the scent. “And from my guess you were drinking firewhiskey.” He placed another one on the table. He took her empty one and placed it on the tray to one of the waitresses before he sat down across from her.
He smiled as he looked back to her. He figured it should be easy since he’s a vampire, male, and strikingly good looking while she was a woman, human, and should be able to fall into his natural vampire abilities and charms.

Hermione looked up and saw a man walking towards her, she sighed and looked down at her gla*s it was empty but she didn't have the will to get up so she let him take a seat near her. "Yeah it is empty." She told him and groaned was he trying to pick up on her? She shrugged and looked at him, wondering what else she was going to say about this."Yes I was drinking Fire Whiskey." She said as she looked at him and then took a drink of the new drink he brought to her. She was for some reason attracted to him but she had to ignore that feeling of attraction, she was barely keeping sane was it was but she decided to stay and talk to him.
"So what are you wanting to talk to me about? After all I'm not completely sober." She said in a rather calm voice and she was sure but for now she stayed with her drink, she was sure about what she was going to do if he was trying to pick up on her, she waited to hear what he was going to say with all of this. She was drunk and mourning but that was only half of her battle, she stayed there and talked for a while as well as drink the firewhiskey it was safer than at home. She knew that if she drank at home she might have snapped mentally, but for now she stayed within the confines of her mind. She was half tempted to tell him everything that had happened. "I lost my husband and best friend, in that stupid war." She managed as she took another drink and looked at him through slightly glazed eyes that showed her state.

Tristan smiled faintly as he watched her carefully and listened to her. He sort of picked out that she figured he was trying to pick her up. He figured that she must be sort of out of it as she over looked how hold he must look. He had to admit it did interest him with how she was acting and knew more than anything what it was that was inviting her into him. “Seems to be the common drink of choice.” He spoke soft but almost sweetly with a hint of charm. He smiled gently as he moved to sit across from her. “I do hope you don’t mind if I join you.” He added in the same tone as he glanced her over before he tried to catch her eyes with his.
“You just looked a little down.” He spoke honestly, “No pretty young lady like you should seem to be baring the worlds weight on her shoulders.” He added in a softer tone but kept his tone light and sweet with that hint of charm. He knew that she was getting drunk and he wasn’t helping any by pa*sing her the firewhiskey but he wasn’t sure if he was going to have alternative motives just yet. Part of him did have to wonder if she knew or had any idea what it was that she was up against. But he also figured with her alcohol level and her out mind state she’d over look what she was up against when it came to him and his invitingly good looks, scent, and voice.
He listened to her intently as she spoke about her husband and best friend. He finally caught her eyes as he looked into her slightly glazed eyes. He decided that it would probably be better if she started to drink something other than the firewhiskey but he would have to try to convince her of such a switch most likely. He smiled faintly, “I’m sorry about your loss. Your husband and best friend. That’s a horrible loss all together, a*suming they are not one in the same.” He spoke kindly, “Did you fight by their side?”

"It is but then again it burns the sadness away for the most part, though a good strong muggle whiskey'll do that as well." Hermione remarked listening to him and watching him he had to be what seventeen or eighteen either way he was of age. She was so grief stricken it really didn't matter to her not at the moment so for now she stayed there and talked with him, he was joining her she needed someone to talk to about all of this that wasn't in her family. Hermione looked at him and nodded a bit then spoke again, "Not at all go ahead and join me." She said with a slight smile to him.
"I am down after all what happened." She told him looking at him with sad eyes, "Young Lady? Look whose talking your the young one. But thank you for the compliment." Hermione told him she was surprised that such a young looking man would be interested in a woman like her? She was after all not that young anymore, she probably looked more worn than ever. She however was feeling drawn to him, he was so sweet and looked good. He was also so kind and sweet, she didn't need the help but she felt grateful to him for talkint to her.
Hermione looked at him and as their eyes caught she smiled a bit, that was somehting she hadn't had happen in a very long time not since Ron's death. She watched him and wondered what it was he was going to do since he was talking ot her. "Yes I did fight side by side with them, I know that they died defending the school and the others." Hermione told him mildly, she was sure that this was going to go somewhere she didn't want things to go but she ignored the thought of that.

Tristan smirked as he couldn’t argue with Hermione about the whiskey. There were many drinks out there that he had which he couldn’t argue with her over that would do the same d*mn thing. “I have to agree with you on the drinks.” He said, “I’m a drinker myself. Thank you.” He added as he returned a smile. He picked out a few things from her eyes here and there but chose not to say anything about it unless she questioned him. He was partially curious as to what exactly she had in mind though. With his natural charms and scent inviting her into him, he knew that he would have to be careful.
He smiled faintly as he listened to her, “What happened?” he questioned calmly, “You’re welcome and yes I am partially young but then again, you don’t look a day over fifteen.” He explained with charm and sweetness in his voice. He wasn’t sure if she’d open up and talk to him but he figured that he’d take the chance. “I do hope that you do not mind in me asking what exactly happened.” He spoke in the same sweetness but slightly lower in tone.
He returned the smile as he continued to look into her eyes. “My condolences in your loss of those who died defending the school, you, and your family.” He spoke gently. He picked out from her eyes that she didn’t want to have it addressed at that very moment. He knew that he would have to take this in a different direction until she was ready to open a little more on the issue. “I’m Tristan, it’s an pleasure to sit and drink with thee.” He said in charm with a charming smile.
