Scorpius was still going through a lot of sh*t with Dakota and he wasn’t sure if everything was going to work out between the two of them or not. He was tired of listening to everyone get on his case about Dakota and how everything is going on with Dakota. He found the issue getting on his nerves as he couldn’t speak or do anything without someone getting on his case and busting his balls about Dakota. He knew that she needed him and that she was pregnant but he also knew that there was a lot of sh*t happening that no one was taking in to consideration with himself. He figured that at least his friends would understand and take his side. He shook his head as he just had to get away. He needed time to work stuff out as he went headed out for a walk.
He soon found himself down Diagon Alley and just slowly cruised the alley, stopping ever so often to look in the windows at a few of the stores. He decided that he wanted to take a moment break to stop and get something he stopped in front of the store. He paused for a moment as he thought that he saw Athena wondering around the alley as well. He wasn’t really sure if he wanted to put up with her but he shrugged it off believing that if it was she would have spotting him and jumped him by now. He turned and went into the store. He made his order as he walked by to get a table.
He sat at the table with his head partly down as he waited for his drink. He found it taking a while but still didn’t move as he waited for the drink. He heard the door a few times open and close yet he still didn’t move. He wasn’t going to move until he heard either got a drink or he heard someone speak or say his name. He was hoping that no one would have seen him but he also knew that it was going to happen.

Athena was wandering around Diagon Alley, searching for Garfield. She loved her cat, but he always kept taken off, though. There were a few times when she wondered why, but this time she knew. Last night had been a full moon and Athena had forgotten about it. She was still getting used to this werewolf stuff. She was just changed a few months ago. Anyways, Garfield had been with her when she changed and she had gone after it. A werewolf was only loyal towards their own kind and as a werewolf; Athena didn’t realize how much she loved her cat. She had scared it and now she needed to make up for it.
As she walked, she saw Scorpius, but she decided to ignore him. She loved him and wanted to be his girlfriend. It was just at this moment, she couldn’t worry about him. She had to find Garfield. He had been given to her by her father, who wanted her to stop complaining about England. Athena wanted to go back to Greece. She looked everywhere in the alley for the cat, but there was no luck. Where could he be? She had already searched other places and there was no luck there. He couldn’t have just disappeared off the face of the planet. She screamed his name a few times and stopped pa*sersby, but they hadn’t seen him. Athena had to accept the fact that her cat was gone and probably would never return.
With no luck in Diagon Alley, she went into knockturn alley. She wouldn’t dare ask anyone there if they’d seen him. The people that shopped there would probably eat him alive. Athena shuddered at the thought. She had been there a few times, looking for potions to use against Dakota Bletchley. Though she had found the potions, she hadn’t used them yet. She had to wait for the perfect time. Plus, she was a little unsure if she should use it now. She knew that Bletchley had a baby with Scorpius. Oh, how Athena wished that had been her. It would probably be hard to get him now, but she would. She had plans.
She stopped dead when she spotted an orange cat lying in between two shops. On closer inspection, she realized that it was her cat. She must have attacked it and didn’t remember. Athena then ran out of the alley and into Florean Fortescue’s. She was miserable. Being a werewolf wasn’t fun at all. She went to the counter and ordered an ice cream sundae. She spotted Scorpius sitting by himself at a table and walked over to him, sitting across from him. “Hey, Scor. You don’t look like you want company, so I thought I’d come over. I don’t want company either and this way, nobody unwanted would bother us.” Athena didn’t say anything else. She just looked at the table, miserable, wishing that she hadn’t forgotten about the full moon.

Scorpius felt the table shift as he looked up when he heard his name and the voice. He blinked in surprise for a moment only to turn it into a glare before he put his head back down. He started to wonder if everything had been so bad in his life that this was the way to punish him. He didn’t understand how he could have gotten away only to be found. He thought for sure that he was safe in the back but he found out that he wasn’t. He looked up at her finally as he got his drink. “Don’t call me Scor.” He said as he picked up his drink and took a couple small swigs. “What are you doing down here anyway?” he questioned. He wasn’t trying to come off mean and rude but it seemed to be happening. He was also pretty sure that she knew everything that was going on in his life. “No, I didn’t really care to have any company... If you don’t want company and I don’t want company there would be no point in sitting together.” He stated. “That would just be pointless and your statement has no real meaning... that would just invite more unwanted people to join in the first place!” he added.
He didn’t understand why she had wanted to be around him. He wasn’t good for much company at this point in time. She might have been lucky once to get anything from him a year ago but what on earth made her think it would happen again. He wasn’t exactly sober either when he took her on. “So, what are you doing down here?” he asked again as he put his drink down. “Did you come in and sit down to just bother me or are you actually going to have something?” he asked her. “You’ve come tell me that you found a boyfriend?” he questioned with a glimpse of hope in his voice.
He was starting to wish that Callie or Kota was with him as he could unleash them on her and he could slip out the back. He spent years running from her with her always chasing him. A few times he stopped and been around her but not as much as she may have hoped and wanted. “I’m a*suming, you know that I’m not with Dakota any more.” He said. “I know last year I mentioned that her and I was going through an on-off-on-off again thing.” He added. There was no point in trying to hide it since he figured she’d already knew it. “Is that why you’re here?”

Anybody talked that way to her and she’d get angry at them and use that same tone with him. But Scorpius was different. He was just so good looking that she couldn’t be mad at him, not ever. “Looking for my cat, but I couldn’t find him. You haven’t seen him, have you?” As she said that, she saw her cat in her mind, lying in Knockturn Alley, dead. She’ll never get over it. She had loved that cat. Sure, now she could try to talk her parents into going back to Greece. She had to stop because she got the cat, but now she could start it back up again. “Technically, there is meaning in what I said. You just choose to look at it a different way. You and I are from the two most feared families in the wizarding world. It’s obvious we don’t want company, so nobody would bother us unless if they want to get hurt. And I will hurt them.”
Athena gave him a confused look. She thought that she had already answered that question. “A little hard of hearing, are we?” she asked, sweetly, giving him a forced smile. “I said I was looking for my cat, but I couldn’t find it, so I came in here. Honestly, I didn’t know you were here until I saw you when I walked in. I’m not stalking you, Master Scorpius.” Athena had seen him outside, but she hadn’t really seen him enter the ice cream shop. “Don’t worry, I have no boyfriend. You’ll never have to share me with anyone.”
“Yes, I know. Which is for the best because Bletchley can’t love you like I can. She didn’t deserve you or that kid you gave her. If I were you, I’d keep her from seeing him.” Athena realized that she shouldn’t have said that, but it was true. Bletchley didn’t deserve anyone as good as Scorpius. What kind of a girl would dump the guy that got her pregnant? “I have a different way to get you. I’m done with voicing it. I’m not here for you. Believe it or not,” she said, a voice getting harsh, “not everything revolves around you.”

“I haven’t seen any cats around here. Maybe it wanted to run away with its playmate because you wouldn’t let it have any fun.” Scorpius said with a faint smirk and a slight laugh. “Are you going to sit here and annoy or are you actually going to have something?” he questioned. “Two most feared families?” he enquired as he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “Why would you hurt someone for bothering us? It’s not like we are doing anything spectacular.” He stated in a slightly dry and low tone. He finished his drink off as he listened to her. “What do you want? I’m feeling generous.” He stated. “Is that your reason for trying to get me to take you out because we are both from feared families? And for your information, Draco wasn’t really much of anything so I don’t believe anyone feared him.”
“No, you just take forever to answer me.” He stated. He glanced at her, “Don’t smile if you don’t want to.” he added sounding almost bored. He couldn’t help but smirk when she called him ‘Master’. He had to admit that he didn’t get that very often. He dropped some coins on the table between himself and Athena, “Tell you want, you decide what you want and you can take and get it for yourself so long as you get me another drink.” He said in more up tone. “I’ll never have to share you?” he questioned. “Zabini, you don’t know the first thing about me, except my looks and who Draco is.”
“That kid has a name.” He looked at her annoyed with cold almost icy eyes, “He’s my son, the next to carry on the Malfoy name and take over when I go.” He said coldly. “Lucius was a mistake but we are still going to raise him.” he looked at her. “That’s a first that you’re not here for me.” He said sounding almost surprised. “I thought when it came to you and me I was everything that made your world go round.” He paused to look at her. “So, why are you here? Something wrong?” he questioned.

Athena shot him a dirty look, getting highly annoyed with him. Her cat only ran off because she scared him. Naturally, though, she couldn’t tell him that. She had to keep the fact that she was a werewolf a secret. Nobody can know. She wanted to keep living a normal life, at least as normal a life as someone who changes into an animal every full moon can have. “Well, perhaps, except my cat was the only one that really liked me and I never stopped it from running off. A cat can’t be forced to love someone. It isn’t a human after all.”
“That’s right; you’re the son of a wimp,” she said, smirking. “But even if Draco was nothing but a loser, you are still a Malfoy and your grandfather and other members of your family are feared, are they not? Lucius Malfoy was a death eater and from what I understand, had a lot of power until that little mishap with Dumbledore.” Athena knew a lot about the family from her parents, especially her mother. Pansy’s biggest dream was to see her daughter become a Malfoy. “But no, that isn’t why I want you. My mother told me that I had to and I have to please her. She wants me to end up with you, so I will.”
Athena looked down at the sundae that she hadn’t eaten. It was a waste of money and if her father found out, he was going to be mad at her. She picked up her snot acceptable and began stirring the melted ice cream. “I have to eat this ice cream though, otherwise my father would be pissed big time. But I’ll buy you that drink.” She reached into her pocket and pulled out some gold and put it in front of him. “After all, when you love someone, you buy things for them. And I know a lot about you, Scor. You just think that nobody knows you.”
She just rolled her eyes. She didn’t care if he had a name. Once Scorpius was hers, they weren’t going to raise him. They would have their own kids to worry about. “What if he turns out to be a bad guy? Someone that joins the army? Will you still love him and want to raise him?” Athena knew that that was possible. Her brother was in the army and even she was questioning the side that she was forced to support. “I hate to disappoint, but you are wrong on that point. In fact, I’ve had a lot on my mind recently and haven’t thought about you that much.”

Scorpius glanced at Athena and caught not only the dirty look but the possibility that he hurt her feelings. He glanced down at his empty gla*s for a moment as he listened to what she had to say. “Even human’s can’t be forced to love someone, Athena.” He said in a kinder tone. “I’m sure that your cat is not the only one that cares for you.” He added in the same kind tone. He glanced to her from his empty gla*s as he listened to her continue.
He smirked as he listened to her and chuckled under his breath. “Yes, The son of a wimp. Why do you think we are celebrating in his death!?” he looked back to her with a slight smirk. “I’m feared.” He looked at her. “I plan on going more out to making people fear me and my abilities.” He stated as he looked at her. Watching her and listening to her as she spoke about his family. He nodded, “Yes that pretty well sounds like my family. I’m also disappointed in my family.” He shrugged, “I will replace my family name to what it once was.” He turned to look directly at her as he listened to her, “You’re mother wants this?” he questioned with curiosity, “What do you want?”
“Athena, you’re here with me, no one is going to be pissed at you if you don’t want to eat your ice cream as for my drink don’t worry about it.” He said putting the gold back in front of her. He watched as she played with the ice cream some then looked back to her as he listened to her. “Do you even care to know me?” he questioned. “People know what I want them to know about. But you are forcing yourself that doesn’t show or mean that you’d want to know.” He added still showing her respect and talking to her nicely. “I only buy certain things and only for ladies.” He glanced around for a moment before looking back to her, “What do you know about me?”
“I’m not worried about Luke.” He said. “My son has a lot people around him that he will be influenced by the family name. He’ll carry it well.” He added as he looked back to Athena. He smirked with a slight chuckle under his breath. “You didn’t disappoint. It’s good that you decided not to have me on your mind.” He left her gold in front of her when he got up and went to get a new drink for himself and one for her. He brought back another one and set it down in front of her before he took a seat across from her. “It can be a confusing place when you have a lot on the mind.” He added before he took a sip of his own.
