Victoire hadn't been with the department for very long, and she quite happily accepting a huge a*signment. A very important a*signment - protect Minister Simpson. The recent attack on him caused him to give her Uncle Harry a call - decided to create a gaurd to protect Ministus Simpson until situations were resolved. Victoire was picked as one of the Aurors to protect him. She had been beaming about it all day.
The Minister returned home with his wife. The few aurors a*signed to his protection were working in shifts to protect the Simpsons in their home. Victoire's wasn't until later. She was too worked up to go home herself and get some sleep, so instead she wrote home. This was news she couldn't keep from her parents, she had to tell them. She of course, left out the details but, just simply stated that she got her first big a*signment. It would send her mother Fluer into a fury but, oh well.
Vic folded up the letter and stuck it in her pocket. She still needed to finish up some paperwork before she left to send out her mail. Even while doing just a dull task, Victoire kept smiling. She couldn't help it. It was such a huge responsiblity. Then Victoire got to thinking, what if she couldn't cut it? What if she misses something and the Minister ended up getting hurt? Would she be fired? Woudln't that be horrible. She frowned at herself. No, she'd do great - she had to.

There was one person that he needed to talk to and that was Simpson. His son, Cory, might just join the Slytherin Gang, if his followers can convince him to, but thanks to Kai Bletchley, that wasn’t likely to happen now. Titus Simpson had been on his list to talk to for ages. He needed him to give up his post. Percy had to take it over. If he didn’t, he couldn’t guarantee his safety. He could only guarantee that his death eaters wouldn’t bother him if he gave up the post. Because nobody could know he was the Dark Lord, he would tell him that he was sent by said dark lord to offer him and his family protection. Percy was safe. He couldn’t be thrown into prison with him being in control of the world. He had the dementors on his side anyways.
He planned on working here as the Minister, either after Simpson is murdered or when he gave up the post. He would declare himself Minister when he is ready to let people know who he is. Until then, he would put one of his most loyal followers in that job. It did depend on when Simpson left the post too. Percy may want people to know him when that happened. He hoped Simpson would step down soon, though. Being in control wouldn’t be complete until he had the title of Minister. He walked slowly through the Ministry, thinking of exactly what he would say to Simpson.
He stopped though as he reached the law enforcement offices. They weren’t doing their job right, as people that should be in jail weren’t. Potter should’ve been imprisoned for abusing Severus just because he chose the Gang over the Army and he figured that he’d blame Ginny’s death on him, too. Reason: she liked the twins and Harry didn’t. He liked that idea. He knew that Louis did it, but he wasn’t about to turn him in. Severus would murder Louis if he found out and besides, he wanted Louis to be a death eater. Percy just had to find the perfect time to ask him.
He stepped into the office and saw his cousin, Victoire, there. He didn’t really care for her, supporting the Order like she did. He wanted her on his side. He had to change her. It would be so much easier to do things in the Ministry. “Hey, Vic, don’t you people know how to work? Why is Potter still on the streets? He should’ve been in Azkaban ages ago.”

Victoire looked up hearing her name. A smile fluttered across her face but, that quickly fell when she saw who it was. Percy Weasley, Jr - her least favourite cousins. He had been the first to turn sour. "Our Uncle Harry, hasn't done anything wrong to get arrested," Victoire replied with a harsh glare. She didn't like he was accusing Harry for something that wasn't his fault. Actually, she wasn't sure what he was referring to and didn't want to ask.
"There are more pressing matters at hand then your family grudges," she added through gritted teeth. One woud think that the Weasely-Potter clan would act as a united front for the Order. They started out that way but then, all her cousins were influenced by outside sources. Now, the once close knit family were all mixed up, fighting against each other. It wasn't something to be proud of, and Victoire was working as hard as she could to reverse it and bring her family together again. "I'm sorry, do need something? Otherwise you'll be escorted out - you have no business here," Vic said, ina colder, harsh voice.

Percy shook his head. He had to wonder what they did to those who support the Order to make them think that they were all perfect angels. Potter was far from an angel. What kind of an angel would beat up their fifteen year old? He tilted his head and gave her a piercing glare. “Your uncle Harry didn’t do anything wrong. Your uncle Harry is an angel, but my uncle Harry isn’t a very nice man. Did you know that before arresting Severus last year, he beat him up? Do you want to know why? Because he dared to be his own person. He didn’t want to join the Army. You don’t believe me, ask him.”
“See, Vic, we’re cousins, but we see people differently. You look at Harry and you see a nice man, am I right? Just like you look at me and you see someone who wants to cause pain. You couldn’t be more wrong about me.” Sure, he did want to cause pain, but not to everyone. Not everybody deserved it and he wasn’t totally against the Order. Just those who think Death Eaters are exactly the same as they used to be. “I’m not totally against the Order. I like Uncle Charlie. I’m against those who think Death Eaters are the same as they were back in Voldemorts day. We don’t believe in pureblood purity. We really aren’t evil. How can you hate something that you know nothing about? I just want to understand, Vic.”
Percy collapsed into a chair, still giving her that piercing look. He had a feeling that he knew what those matters were. He had heard things. Never did he order people to attack the Minister. He wouldn’t stoop that low. Looks like he’d have to contact Patrick and call a death eater meeting. “Are you talking about the attack on the Minister? I’ll help you find out who did that. I’ll tell you that it wasn’t ordered. My Master would never order something like that.” He crossed his arms and smiled at her. “Why escort me out when I’m willing to help? All I ask is that when they are found, you turn them over to my Master for proper punishment.”

Victoire shook her head at Percy's story. She didn't believe it to be true. She was trained to see traits like that in people. Nothing she ever say in her uncle ever gave off that sort of vibe. Still, she didn't know the whole story of the situation with Albus, at least not from all the angles. She sighed, and frowned. Part of her wanted to believe her Uncle's story but, she had a stirring feeling that Percy was telling the truth.
Victoire glanced away from him. Realizing her papers lay on her desk, she pulled over a few blank pieces of parchment to cover them. Vee didn't care what he said Death Eaters were for these days, she knew what she stood for. How would he know what the Order thought. He wasn't apart of it. She sighed and looked back up at him. "OK, if you aren't believing in pureblood purity, then what is it the Death Eaters want? Chaos?" She knew she might be able to use anything Percy told her to her own advantage - for the Order. Plus, she was truly curious what it was that had torn her family in two different directions.
Vic glared at Percy the moment he spoke of the attack on Minister Simpson. Stupid media, she along with the other aurors had to literally push them out of the Ministry altogether. The entire department had been absorbed by the situation, looking for the Minister's attackers. So far, they didn't have any luck finding them. "You would help?" she asked, slightly astonished. It was against her better judgment to make such a deal. In fact, technically speaking, she had no power to. If - and it was a big if - Victoire would have to make this deal under the table so to speak. She couldn't just hand them over - who knows what this "Master" would do. This could lead into a huge disaster. "How would you even find them if we can't?' she asked.
