Scorpius knew that he had to spend some much needed brother-sister time with his sister, Callie. He knew that it’s been some time since they both sat down to really talk about anything and he owed her a least a little bit. He knew that Lucius was with Kota so he had the time in the world to do what he wanted to do. He walked through the house. He knew that there was a lot going on but he wasn’t sure if the house was ever going to be the same. He attempted to ignore everyone as he pa*sed through and wanted to leave them to whatever it was they were doing. ”Hey, Scor. How’s everything?” Crew asked. “Hey Crew. It’s alright... if you see my sister can you let her know I want to talk to her? I’ll be in the old study.” he responded. ”Sure.” Crew responded. Scorpius nodded slightly before he disappeared down the hall and into the study.
He walked into the study and looked around before he sighed and walked over to the desk. He started to go through everything on the desk and he flipped through a few papers. He looked at everything around the room before he just remained, sitting there at the desk. He knew there had to be tones of stuff in the room that he’d have to go through and start to box up. He knew that he had to start to go through everything but he wasn’t certain where to really start. He did know deep down he wanted to take a few of Draco’s things and burn them. He wasn’t sure why, but he wanted to burn a few of Dracos things, if not everything. He had to get the work done on the room as his mother was pestering him a few times over it.
He put his head down over his arms to let his mind run. He allowed his mind to run ramped through different things but he smirked when he started to think about Dannie. After a while, he looked up over his arms at the room. He’d rather talk to Callie at that moment then have to go through all the junk.

Callista had gotten word from Crew that Scor wanted to see her in their father’s old study for weeks now she had refused to go near that side of the house and now he wanted to see her there? She sighed and took a breath before walking up the stairs and down the hall. Why did it have to be the study? Why didn’t he remember she hated the study? She shook her head she was going to be strong and go there and talk; she had been in hiding after everything that went down with the break up to the new boyfriend problems. She was so alone and didn’t want to bug her brother he seemed so busy lately, every time she went looking for him she heard ‘sorry Callie…he is out with Dannie’ he was always out with that younger girl that Callie knew nothing about.
She didn’t know what hurt more the fact that he wasn’t around for her or that she didn’t know anything about this new girl he was interested in. Was she losing her brother to this Wood girl? Callista would not have that she would lose it and most likely die she secretly got hurt during the war and ever since if she gets to stressed out her body seems to shut down on her. She knew that she had to tell Scor soon about it but didn’t want to stress him out or upset him that she didn’t go with Albus or went with him and came back and fought for what she wanted to. Callista stood in front of the door and shook her head, she really didn’t want to go in there but she had to Scor was waiting for her.
Pacing back and forth she finally decided to knock and she did. “Scorpius, brother?” she leaned against the door. “You wanted to see me?”

Scorpius looked up when he heard his name and smiled slightly when he saw that it was her. He glanced around the room. “Come in and close the door.” He asked her as he sat up from slumping over the desk. He leaned back in the chair and motioned her to join him and have a seat once the door was closed. He glanced around the room. “Mom asked if I could clean this room out. I haven’t figured out how to do so yet. I don’t know if I want to blow it all up or start it all on fire or just box it up and deliver it all to Potter.” He stated almost in a low flat tone. “Yeah, I wanted to see you. I wanted to discuss something with you. Mom signed the manor over to me... in fact everything to the Malfoy name is now under mine.” He told her. “I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this place.” He added. He moved his arm across the desk pushing all the old junk of Draco’s onto the floor. “Clean desk. Now.” He said as he stood up and reached for a few large rolls which were clearly larger then the desk. He dropped them on the center of the desk. He looked up at Callie with a very dark smirk. “What I have here is a ma*sive over haul-reconstruction of the Malfoy Manor. The blue prints for the new manor.”
He waited until she was sitting down before him, “I know you hate this room Callie but like I said I have to clean it out... but I’ve been thinking about taking everything of Draco’s out of here and using it for our conference room.” He stated. “So, I’d keep the desk and the shelving and the drawers but everything else would go.” He said. “I’m also thinking of expanding the slytherin gang to adults. That way the gang members that left school can still be gang members and we could possible recruit more.” He added. “I’ll have to appoint a second that will keep their eyes and ears open in the school when I leave, but otherwise, I think we could work it all out.” He said. “I think expanding the gang, would be relatively beneficial for us.” He added. “We’d be able to tap into everything then.” He said with a darkened smirk. “Just think of everything that we could do then...I wouldn’t have to fret about Azkaban either.” He said in a lower voice.
He opened the plans he had for the house. It almost looked as if the house was soon to become a castle. “Stone walls... All kinds of bedrooms, a new kitchen, more staff, a meeting room, this would be our conference room, we’d have a larger game room... hell we could even put in a bowling alley if you wanted. We could have a weapons room, an armour room. We could have a party room. Mom could have her own quarters and not have to worry about us or anyone else and she doesn’t always have to run into people. Lucifer could have his own fun room. Everyone could have a more comfortable room where they’re not all cramped in.” He said with excitement. “Albus could have his own quarters as well.” He said then crossed his arms as he looked at the plans. “We’ll have to keep an eye on him though. He is a Potter through and through. He could be a more of an undercover threat then anything.” He added then glanced up to Callie. “None the less, he’s a friend.” He said. “So, what do you think?” he questioned. “I know that this is all under my name, but I share it with you. As I’ve told you before, this place is also yours regardless of who’s name it’s under.”

Callie walked in and closed the door she really truly hated this stupid room and wished with all her heart that she could burn it to the ground without hurting the rest of the house. Callie had been going though so many changes first she falls out of love with her love time sweetheart Albus for the man that she had been in love with for a year then having to pretend that she didn’t love him and let him go. She had to she didn’t want to fight it. Everyone already thought that she was selfish and only thinking of herself. Callie was trying so hard to not do that but in the end it always came across as she was only thinking of herself. “Including me. That’s why you are listed as my guardian?” she asked as she looked around the room. He was going to change the house? Sure they had enough room to make it bigger but d*mn he wanted to change the manor? Moving closer she looked at the plans there were spaces for everyone Kota and the baby, Pandora, their mother and Albus. A play room for Luke and a play room for the big children as well she laughed at that thought.
Taking a seat she listened to him talk happily about all the changes he was going to do she smiled seeing him happy for once. “The Slytherin Gang? Scor once the gang graduates they will be death eaters they don’t need the gang, in your 7th year you pa*s it off to someone you trust and trust that; that person will do the same. You are not going to be around this area forever Skylar moves around a lot” she said softly not knowing if there were ears around listening. To think that someday the Malfoy’s will have to leave their home and their human friends and family. Callista didn’t really care about that she didn’t have anyone else in this world she cared about more than her brother and he was going to be turned with her so she was set.
“I think it is great Skylar and our family could stay too. Oh that makes me thinking we should add a tunnel underground. Hear me out first” she said as she tried to collect her thoughts so she got them out right. Letting silence pa*s she looked at the blue prints and laughed as there was one for the street too showing the Haven thank god her brother thinks of those things she took those blue prints and picked up a pencil as she drew a path under the house and ended at Skylar’s Haven. “See that way you and Skylar and the others have access to the house just in case Kota and Luke need us”

“I’m only listed as your guardian when mom isn’t around.” Scorpius told her as he looked at her. He watched her walk over to the desk and look at the map of the new grounds that he wanted to create and do. He could see that she had been through a lot. “Callie?” he questioned, “Are you alright?” he stood and walked around the desk by her. “Are you sure that everything is okay?” he asked as he placed a hand on her shoulder. “I know you hate this room and I am sorry... but I don’t think what I’m seeing in you is about this room right now.” He said before he sat on the desk and pulled her into a hug. “Having a hard time with other things?” he asked her. He hugged her tightly. “Everything will work out.”
He released her and looked at her for a moment as she sat in the chair. His mind moved through a few thoughts before he fully caught what she had said. “There isn’t anything saying that the Slytherin Gang can’t go on past Grad.” He said. “The DA and the Coalition is more than just in Hogwarts.” He added. He started to wonder partly of what it was that she was thinking before he got up and moved back around behind the desk. He smoothed out the map of the grounds. He glanced up to her and smiled faintly. “I know he moves around a lot. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t still keep the house... not to mention most of the people around here know of the vampires. No one has ran them out... so may it won’t bother people that there are vampires.” He stated. He smirked. “I know that we’ll be moving around with him.” he added. “But that doesn’t change the fact that at some point we will return here.”
Scorpius raised an eye brow at Callie for a moment as he stood back with his arms crossed. He kept his mouth shut and gazed at her for a long moment before he looked down over what it was that she was doing. He thought about it for a moment. He knew that the underground tunnels would run right into Skylar’s underground but he wasn’t sure if Skylar mentioned that part of the house to Callie or not. He placed his hands on the desk as he leaned over it and looked at the markings Callie made. “The only problem and risk of that is if Skylar’s haven gets ambushed will place this manor at risk. If they enter the haven, they’ll go through everything. If they find the tunnel, they’ll come here and everyone here will be at risk.” He said. “It’s a great plan... but it holds a huge risk.” He told her.

“Well that does make sense mom can’t always be around and where I am you are not far behind” she stated in a low tone she focused on the blue prints as he spoke about him thinking that something was wrong with her. ”Oh it’s nothing! Just that I loved Tristan and I lied to him when I said I was okay with just being friends!” She felt used and hurt she gave Tristan everything including her body to only in the end feel easy and lonely. Callista knew better than to say a word about it in time she would be okay. Hugging him back she rolled her eyes knowing he could not see her eyes the last thing she wanted to hear that everything will be okay. Callista was starting to really not like how close Dannie was getting to Scorpius in Callista eyes Dannie didn’t deserve him. That wood girl was going to make him soft or pull him away from her and she just could not have that. “It’s not really the room that I hate just the man that owned it” she said as she looked around at all her father’s things.
Tapping her finger nails on arm of the chair as her eyes focused on her brother now she listened to him and nodded “Point taken” was all she could come up with saying, he was right and she didn’t really feel like fighting with him today. “Speaking of Vampires; Scor I have been thinking” she said as she turned her head away from him so he couldn’t see her face. “I can’t remember if I talked to you about this but I can’t stay to be alive and you to be dead and then come back and then I dead and by gone forever….I want…I want to be turned too” she said softly as she looked at the wall.
Listening to him talk about her idea and sighed as he said it was a risky thing to do, he was right it could mean trouble for all the human’s living in the house it would be dinner time here if any demon or rogue vampire found their way here. “I was just thinking that it would help you keep us safe while you have to stay under Skylar, that’s all. I really don’t know how the Sire Childer things goes hell I don’t even know if I got the terms for everyone right” she said with a giggle.

Scorpius smirked as he listened to his sister, “I can always back off you know.” He said in a malicious tone. He wasn’t blind or stupid as he could see that she was very upset. “Tristan or Dannie?” he questioned as he looked at the prints. “Or myself” he added after a moment as he looked up to her. “He’s gone now. For good with the confirmation of his dead body in front of me a few months ago. You don’t have to worry about him any longer.” He stated as he partially followed her gaze around the room at their father’s things. He started to wonder if the girl was ever going to open up and talk to him since she wore it clear as day in front of him.
He watched her tap with a thin dim smile before he looked to her directly. Before he had a chance to ask his question about what she was thinking she had already answered it. He figured it was only a matter of time before she approached him on the changing. He knew honestly, he didn’t ever want to lose his sister. “I was wondering when you were going to come to me over that.” he said melodious tone before he took a seat in the chair behind the desk. “It’s really risky for females to be turned.” He started to explain to her, “Skylar said that sometimes the darkness can hold on to them and they are lost forever – but I know that you’d fight and I know that you’d come back to me-to us and your friends.” He said, quickly changing the ‘me’ to friends and hoping that she didn’t catch it. “I’m sure that Skylar wouldn’t turn you down...but I haven’t decided if I want to become a vampire when I’m seventeen or not. I know that’s when I made the deal it was for seventeen but it also had the clause that I could wait till after to be turned.” He told her as he looked back to her, “You really want to join me?” he questioned in a subtle tone.
“Callie, I’ll always keep you safe no matter where I am or what I am.” He said. He found himself talking to her very mellifluously this day about the issues but he wasn’t sure if it was due to the fact he knew something was bothering her and he wanted to take it easy on her or if it was something else that he was choosing to be nicer with her. He could see that she was having a few issues about the vampire choice and he wasn’t going to hold her back from being changed. If that’s what she wanted he wasn’t going to stop it. He did have to smile and chuckle under his breath to himself. “yes, It is Sire and childer. Skylar is the sire as he is the one who makes them. The ones he makes are called fledglings until they are known and show themselves then they move up in the world. But under the Sire they are his children so they are called Childer.” He explained.

Callista listened to him as he talked about backing off, no she didn’t want that not at all she hoped he saw that in her eyes she needed him. It was Tristan she wasn’t thinking that much about Dannie she knew Dannie was just a girl that would be gone soon enough, but the things she let Tristan do all because she loved him but now it was nothing and he didn’t really care about her it hurt her more than anyone would know, she was just not that type of girl to just give anyone sex. She looked at her father’s things and nodded to Scorpius. “It is a lot quieter without Father. I like it” She sat there thinking about what to say to him.
“Well brother when you are ready that’s when I’ll be ready” she said in a firm tone so that he knew she was serious. “I am strong I know I can return to you….everyone” she said as she looked down, she didn’t know what to do or say she wanted to tell him how hurt she was at what Tristan did to her but she knew that the two were close friends and Callista was trying so hard not to cause any more trouble with Scor and his friends. “Yes Brother I really want to join you” she said as she looked at the ground.
“I know that Scor, I am always safe with you” she said without looking up. Suddenly she looked up and straight into his eyes. “Alright! I am extremely hurt I really thought I loved him only to have him walk away from me….” She had tears in her eyes now as she stared into her brothers. “I feel so different its hard to act like I am okay I blame myself for letting Tristan get that close”

Scorpius looked at her slightly before looking to her eyes. He could see that she wasn’t happy about him saying that he’d back off. He knew that look on her and her posture. He knew where that was about to go. He rolled the plans up only to set them on the floor. He slid over the desk only to turn and face her. He smiled at her faintly, “I have to agree, it’s nice without Draco being around here.” He said before he moved to catch her eyes once more, “Callie, your eyes are showing you’re about to break into a river. What’s going on?” he questioned.
He smiled, he had to appreciate the fact that she was turning and ready. He wasn’t planning on being turned until the 31st, the day of his seventeenth birthday. He hoped off the desk only to kneel down before her and her chair, “Callie, I know you are strong. You’re amazingly strong for everything that you have endured.” He said. “I believe that you will pull through, for me-everyone.” He moved the strand of hair from her face, as he quickly said ‘everyone’. “Why are you looking away from me?” he questioned.
“Always safe.” He told her, “But you are starting to worry me.” He looked to her. He looked into her eyes as she just blurted it out. “It’s not your fault.” He spoke more delicately before he stood up. He pulled her up and into him as he leaned against the desk and held onto her. “Don’t keep that in.” He whispered as she told him what was wrong finally. He held onto her in a manner that if he let go she’d disappear forever. “Callie, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have let it happen. You don’t have to act okay. You can allow yourself to go through this.”

Callista held back her tears as best as she could for days maybe even weeks she had locked herself in his house and hid in her bedroom when she heard Tristan was there. Blaming her slight depression on the fact that Scor was thinking about dating Dannie, but in fact all this time she was trying to get over Tristan. She was the first person she had loved since Albus and she let Albus go only to be alone? She was pretty she was sweet and kind and murderous at time; why did no one really love her? Why was her brother the lucky one and had all the girls after him and she had no one that liked her like that? Where did she go wrong?
Looking away she listened to him talk about how strong she was but the truth was she wasn’t all that strong she faked it and Scorpius should know that he was the one that came to her aid all the time. He thought she was strong in what dream world did he live in? Shaking her head as the tears threatened to start again she quickly looked at him and sighed “Worry you? I am not trying too I swear” she was almost panicking she didn’t want to hurt him or anything like that. “Allow myself to go thought it! Why I told him I was okay, I told him we could be friends…..I don’t want to be friends I gave him everything part of me only to have him…say I am not what he wants” The tears started now and she couldn’t help it.
Callista suddenly jumped out of her chair and dropped to the floor as he body shook, praying that Crew couldn’t hear the tears and the sobbing though the house when he stayed here his room was right next to hers and she was sure that he could hear her at night. She didn’t want to worry Scorpius or his friends but she was heartbroken.

Scorpius watched his sister carefully as he knew that she was trying so hard not to break down before him. He knew that it would only have to be a serious of words, phrases, and a little simple kindness. He knew that she was upset over a lot of things and so long as she was upset she was going to make his life difficult which he didn’t care for as he enjoyed the challenge she gave him. He figured as he watched her expressions that she was comparing herself to him on the social scale. He didn’t care for the moments she chose to do that. There was nothing to compare to; he just didn’t know how to teach her that.
He could see the tears start to show and then they faded away as quickly as they appeared in her eyes. His heart ached and broke for her but he wasn’t about to be open about that. He knew that she was strong in her own way but in his opinion she didn’t ever want to see that. He smiled vaguely, “I don’t mind worrying about you, Callie” he said in a low tone. “Don’t panic Callie.” He added in the same tender tone as he reached out to her, touched her cheeky gently with his finger tips and moved his thumb carefully over her eyes in means of wiping the dampness from her eyes. He pulled his hand back as she continued only to blink as all the tears just started to fall. He could feel the pulling strings inside him as she broke down before him. “Aw, Callie.” whispered faintly as went to move closer to her.
He knelt down before her and pulled her into him as he wrapped his arms around her tightly as she cried. The harder she cried the more he held her against him. “It’s okay to not be okay.” He whispered to her. “You don’t have to hide or put on an act around me either.” He added in the same soft sweet whisper. He kissed her gently on her head as he held onto her. He wasn’t going to let her go. Not this time. He knew just by watching her, the pain, sorrow, and killer pain of the rejection. He knew her well enough what she meant when she said she gave him all of her. “I’m sorry that you went through that... Did you want me to ask him not to come around here for a bit?” he asked keeping the same tender tone.

Shaking her head she jumped and looked at Scor with scared eyes and confused thoughts that you could see in her eyes. “No don’t do that I’ll just stay away from him for now that’s what I’ve been doing he can still come around it’s not fair to him to tell him he can’t come around this place is like the hang out for everyone” she said with a smirk it was true now that Draco was gone it seemed as if all their friends moved in. Which was really okay with her for she got to know a few of them much better like Crew for instants he was here with Ophel all the time and stayed with her when her disease got the best of her. Crew was a great guy.
Trying to calm her breathing she was almost coughing just to breath. Sex was something she just didn’t give away if she was doing that act then she was proving that he heart was in the relationship. The day he came to her and said that his heart was just not in it she did the normal Callista thing said it was alright that she was going to say the same thing but he got there first but that was a lie she loved him still loved him and didn’t know what to do. With tears burning her face she looked up and into his eyes as he touched her cheek and wiped a few tears away.
Resting against him she closed her eyes and rested as she listened to all he had to say she was quiet which was normal for her after a break down that big she hated crying like this in front of him but lately that was all she was doing even small things set her off, last night she cried because she cut herself shaving her leg and saw blood. “I guess I deserve this after what I did to Albus” she said softly. Moving so that she was resting her head in his lap she sighed. “Can I have some pain killers? My head hurts and my body is sore and I just want to sleep for once”

Scorpius held onto his sister tightly when he saw the fear and the confusion and rested his head gently over hers. He wasn’t going to let her go any time soon. He was going to let her release everything she needed to. “He’ll understand and I won’t ask him not to ever come around here.” He kissed her on her head, “He’s a good friend even though he broke my sister’s heart.” He spoke softly. He knew that Tristan would understand as they have spoke about it before but Scorpius let it go as Callie didn’t mention anything. However, he knew deep down it was a different story with her. He also knew that he couldn’t force Callie when she wasn’t ready. He had noticed she had a point about the manor now with Draco gone and he noticed how close Callie started to get to Crew.
He rubbed her back gently as he held her close and could feel that she was trying herself down. “Breath in. Hold it.” He said pausing for a few seconds, “release it slowly” he whispered to her as he attempted to coach her though the panic. He continued to wipe her tears away as she cried and he kept her close. He didn’t like to see his sister like this but he also knew that it was part of life. He would just be there for her until she was ready. He kissed her on her head once more. “Things will be okay, even though they don’t look or feel it right now.” He whispered to her.
“You don’t deserve anything no matter what happened between you and Albus or you and anyone else.” He whispered as he held her. He knew she didn’t like it but he also figured that she would rather it be him to see this side of her than anyone else. He released his gentle grip on her as she moved to lay her head on his lap. He moved her hair from her face as he looked at her with warm, loving gentle eyes. “I’m sure there are some around here.” He told her. “I’ll get the house elf to get some for you and some water.” He glanced to an elf that coward in the corner. “Not a word to anyone out there! Get the pain killers and return with water!” he said and watched the elf disappear quickly and then reappear. “You’ll need to sit up Callie. Did you want to rest here while I work on the room?” he questioned as he took the things from the elf.

“Tristan is a good guy and friend to us both I’m just a little hurt I thought things would work out with him but I was wrong” she said softly as she tried to relax, stressing out was not an option for her health and heart she had to stay with it and calm she just didn’t know how to handle all this stupid stress. Callie was starting to like the time she spent with Crew because she was so focused on helping him though his loss that she didn’t think about all she was going though and it was a nice time plus she was helping a dear friend get though something, it made her feel better knowing that she could be ears and listen to someone and hug them when they need someone’s touch.
Hugging him tighter she let all the bottled up things just come out ”breath in hold it then release it” she repeated in her head over and over again as she did the action until she was relaxed and calm in his hold. Nodding she knew things would be okay someday but as of this moment and current place and time she was at rock bottom. She was tired and her body ache as she closed her eyes and started to doze off “I just don’t understood the risk, I mean why do we all set ourselves up to get hurt?” she asked not opening her eyes.
Callista pushed herself up but leaned against the desk in back of them; she took the gla*s of water and two pills that Scorpius handed her and moved to the couch. She sat down on it and took the pills and drank all the water in the gla*s before setting it down on the table next to the couch. “Why don’t you ever let me hold the bottle and get my own pills?” she asked knowing the answer but she wanted to hear it from him. “I would like to stay even if I fall asleep I can’t go out there looking all upset anyway”

Scorpius listened to Callie as she spoke about Tristan. “He is a good guy and friend but he also hurt you. Not everything will work out but at least you gave it a chance. You can’t control where someone’s heart goes or who it belongs to. You just have to learn to deal with it... sometimes it’s just harder than other times.” He stated. “It’s his loss. He doesn’t know what he gave up by leaving you.” He told her as he hugged her without any plan of letting go of her unless she wanted it. He didn’t know why she was trying so hard to hide it and keep it all to herself. He figured that she was doing that but he also knew better than to push her and try to break her before she was ready to be broken.
He allowed her to do what she had to in order to deal with everything. He could feel her starting to loosen up and relax as he held onto her. He wasn’t going to leave her alone any time soon as he knew that she needed someone around. He did have to give her some credit, she could sure pull off the act but he also knew deep down she was feeling pretty hazed over and numb. “We all want that warmth of love, being needed, wanted, desired, cherished.” He said, stopping himself before he got in over his head with her. “You’re not at the bottom by yourself either.” He stated.
Scorpius got up as he watched Callie. He was going to offer her hand over to the couch but knew that she had it covered so kept it to himself. He smirked at her as he heard her question. “You are more than welcome to stay.” He told her. Knowing that she knew the answer to her question he debated answering it. “You know why Callie. I know that you’d try.” He said as he turned to start going through the desk. “Sometimes, I wonder why I’m not enough to prevent that.” he added in a lot tone, sounding absent minded.
