[Malfoys] The Return

He packed up the little bit of stuff that wasn’t at school. He’d been staying between Percy’s house and the Devol Spa, but he decided that since he was over Callie, he could return there, if they would still accept him. Severus remembered that they said he was always accepted there, but things change over time and he needed to make sure that that hadn’t. He made sure that he got everything and left the Devol Spa, saying goodbye to those that had taken him in and treated him like family and walked off the property.

Severus stood out front, waiting for Xavier. He had gotten him to take him to the street that the Malfoys lived on. That was as close as he could get because they wouldn’t go on property of someone else without being invited. Severus got to the street sooner than he would’ve using regular wizard transportation. He jumped off the vampires back and watched him disappear again, then started walking to the Malfoy residence. His bag was floating behind him. He didn’t care about the law. He was in a wizard neighborhood and no muggle would be able to see. Severus really wasn’t breaking the law. Besides, muggles were pretty stupid and wouldn’t know magic when they saw it.

He walked into the manor and his bag dropped on the floor by the door. “Scor? Callie?” he called, wondering if they were home. If they weren’t, he could wait. Severus walked upstairs and stood in the doorway to the room that he had once occupied and then walked back downstairs, where he settled on the couch and waited. His mind went to Bella, who, since the dance, was someone that he had fallen for; despite all those times that he had said she was too young for him. He may actually consider asking her out. He grinned at the idea, the grin that he always got when he was thinking about a girl. Severus closed his eyes, still grinning and thinking about Bella.

Scorpius was just cleaning up the mess that Luke made in the kitchen as Kota was upstairs working on her a*signments or napping. He looked to his son a few times as he knew that his boy was just going to make the mess bigger and worse. He put the dishes into the sink before he started to wipe everything up. He walked over to his son and took the snot acceptable from the boy. He placed a gently hand on the boys head before he walked over and put it away then walked back to clean up Luke. He took a cloth and started to wipe Luke’s hands and face.

He heard his name from come from the front. “We’re here.” He called back while he finished off the kitchen before he picked up Luke and walked into the living room as he was still cleaning up his boy. He looked over to his friend and smirked. “Couldn’t stay away?” he questioned in a joking tone. He set the boy down on the floor as he pulled off Luke’s shirt then finished wiping the boy off. “He decided that it was time to play instead of eat.” He explained before he released Luke.

He glanced to the door to see Sev’s bags then looked back. “Moving back in?” he questioned as he took a seat in the arm chair and set the shirt and cloth on the table. “The house elves I think dusted your room otherwise, it’s still there and still yours.” He added. “Callie is around here somewhere and Kota is upstairs catching up on some a*signments or sleeping while I’m on Luke duty. Im pretty sure he’s happy to see you back around here.” He said as he watched Luke drag over a toy to Sev. He smirked slightly, “Luke go play with Demon.” He said when Demon walked into the room.

He thought about a conversation he had not to long ago as he glanced to Sev. He had heard a lot through the vines since his one fateful night. He didn't even mention it to his sister yet. He looked from his son to his friend. "Sev, there's a problem." he said. "Kyoshiro's back, as I know that you know. Watch yourself. He's pissed at you and is gunning for your blood. He thinks that you kill his baby that Isolde was carrying last year. I already informed Kyoshiro that I'm not going to stand back or just hand you over."

Callista was sitting in one of the high windows in the living room out of site when she heard Albus calling her name as well as Scorpius, she was honestly shocked to see or hear him thinking that after what she did he would never want to be around her again. She was sure that he had heard about Tristan breaking her heart after only a week; and she was sure he laughed about it too. Maybe she would not make her presents known maybe she would just stay up there out of sight and out of mind that way he didn’t have to see all the pain she was going though. Looking back out the window she sighed so softly no one could here lots of people were worried about her as her health had started to drop since the peanut butter thing. Now she was not allowed to eat her food in less Scorpius or one of the vampires made sure it was safe. Was this the way her life was going to be now.

She was starting to feel caged and that was not a good thing she would run but that could kill her. Callista knew that word got around the school about her trip to the hospital wing all that did was make her hide in the one place in that no one would hide her but Scor and that was the library. She still remembered that day he brought Skylar, Aidan and Chase to the library and it took all four of them to drag her out. That’s why Scor and she were at the manor he was letting her relax for a bit in a place she felt safe.

Knowing that Scorpius was going to be pissed when he realized that she was so high up and even madder that she used so much energy to get up there that now she could not get down. Not sure that she really wanted to let Albus see her like this she decided for now that she would just listen to them talk at first and then say something about needing help. Blinking as he heard her brother say that Kyoshiro was back she let out a fear filled sigh as she shook her head and looked back out the window. Knowing now that she was going to have to show herself to them and ask Scor to come up and get her weakened self.

“Scorpius? Can you help me down?” she asked softly but knew both men heard her.

His smirk changed into an actual grin when he heard Scorpius. “You wouldn’t be able to pay me to stay away,” he answered, looking at Luke. He loved being around babies. They were fun. He laughed when he heard what Luke had decided. That sounded like something he would decide. Maybe one of these days at school, he will start a food fight. “I think I’ve been a bad influence on him. Having fun always takes priority over eating unless if it’s candy.”

“I figured I would. I’d prefer to actually have a home instead of going back and forth between two places.” He remembered a talk he had with Bella and he got the feeling that she thought she wouldn’t have a place to stay during the summer. He would have to talk to Scorpius about that, make sure that she was allowed here. “I’ve already been up there.” Luke dragged a toy over to him. Albus picked the boy up. “We’ll have a play date later, okay? Sometime before your father makes you go to sleep.” He put Luke down as Scorpius started telling him about Kyoshiro Maxwell. He’d been enemies with him for a long time. “My father’s replacement for me. I’m not worried about him. I’m a better fighter than him. He can’t touch me.”

“Oh, Scorpius, There’s something I want to ask you. I was talking to Annabella Bletchley once and the conversation turned to houses and I was wondering if she had a room here. She says that she goes wherever Kota is and I get the feeling she doesn’t think she has a home anywhere. I want to make sure she has a home somewhere. I really like her.” Albus heard Callie yell for Scorpius to help her down and he thought about getting up and helping her, but she had asked for Scorpius. He didn’t want her to get mad at him for trying to help. “Hey, Callie. How’ve you been?”

Scorpius smirked as he heard what the man had to say. He nodded, “that’s good to know.” He said with a slight laugh as he watched his son run around to play. He looked at Albus strangely, “I don’t think you could be a bad influence. You might have a good influence on him.” he said with a laugh. “I can’t argue with fun.” He added. He knew that luke was okay on his own so he turned his attention back to Albus.

“Well, Welcome back home.” He said while he watched Albus with his boy then watched Luke run off to play with his toys. He shook his head, “How can Potter take him in?” he questioned. “I know you’re a better fighter than him. I’m not sure where he got his information from. He seemed to have gotten in his head that you attacked his girlfriend last year and made her lose the baby.” He smirked. “I know it wasn’t you because that was the same night you were breaking up with Callie to go be a spy for the DA. Anyway, I told him that I wasn’t going to tell him where you were or just hand you over. I am up to no good again, so hopefully I can pull it off before he gets near you.”

He glanced over to Luke as he listened to what Albus had to talk about. He nodded slowly, “I thought Dakota had told her that she had room here and pa*sed her a key to the manor.” He stated. “She’s always been welcome here. The same with Miles and Kai. Dakota has spoke to me about her family and they are all welcome here. She told me that Miles refuses over his hatred towards me.” He stated with a slight shrug. “He hates me for ruining Kota’s life with Luke. I feel the same way. Which is why I broke things off with Kota but I still feel the same towards her.” he said in a lower tone. He wasn’t sure if Albus would be able to hear what he had said but he didn’t want anyone else to know that.

He glanced over when he heard callie. He got up and walked over. “Callie, what the hell are doing up there?” he questioned as he went to get her down. “Albus is back to stay.” He whispered to only to Callie as he held onto her. “He is over you and he does have an interest.” He added in the faint whisper to just her before he let her go and moved back from her.

Callista held on to Scor as he carried her down and set her feet on the ground at first she almost fell but caught herself and moved to the couch to watch Luke and giggled her nephew was growing so fast it scared her. Callista sat on there to scared to really talk but she known he had to say something she was just a little shocked Albus was crushing on someone new part of her was jealous and the other part was happy for him. Callista had changed in the full months that Albus was gone she had grown quiet and stays out of peoples way, after the fight that she had with Dannie, Callista just hadn’t been herself.

“I am alright just the usual and my heart is really bad but I’ll live I hope” she said without realizing it. The truth was that she was sad that Aidan decided to take Yumiko and leave and she still had questions about her family, she played with the necklace that was her mother’s her real mother and thought about it all, “He is insane that Kyo kid” she said suddenly before she looked down and sighed. She was starting to see that when she talked she lost people she cared about so she was trying to not talk that much in fear that someone will leave her again.

Taking a deep breath she looked around and smiled “I am glad you are back I have been taking care of your dog, I stole it from your dad a few days ago, thought that you might want him around” she said softly before she looked at Albus and smiled. “We are still friends, right?” she was scared that he hated her or worse never wanted to speak to her again. Turning she looked at Scor “Is it time for my pills?”

"Good influence!" Albus exclaimed, laughing. "Please don't insult me like that. I don't want to be a good influence. I'm going to teach your son to rude to everyone he meets and to skip every cla*s in school, except Transfig." He was just kidding, of course. He knew better than to teach kids that. It was something that Luke would probably pick up on his own as he got older. "Would you want a kid just like me? Except not as insane as I act."

He was sure he knew why Potter took him in. It was probably the same reason that he took in Goyle. He wouldn't be surprised if his father was telling them lies about him, too, to fuel thier hatred of him. "I think Potter has a plan to take me down because he took in Phoenix Goyle, too. I wouldn't be surprised if he was training them to kill me. His own little death eaters." Albus shook his head. "And he thinks I'm bad." He was sure he knew why Maxwell was blaming him. It wasn't that anybody told him that he did it. It was just because he wanted to blame someone and he's easy to blame. "He needs to blame someone and that guy took a dislike to me before I even knew him. He thinks I'm worse than I am."

Albus shrugged. "Perhaps she told me that because you and Kota broke up. Maybe she thought you would kick her out after that." At least she had a good home and best of all, it was his home as well. They could see each other all the time. "Kai won't come. She thinks we all deserve to die." Albus laughed mirthlessly and then decided to tell him about Miles. "And Miles won't come for a different reason. He hates you because you got Kota pregnant and now, I think he hates you for breaking up with her. But that's not it. He's afraid of you. He's tries his best to hide it, but there are signs."

He watched as Scorpius went over to help her down, wondering what they were talking about if anything. He was glad to hear that she was fine. He didn't want her to be bad. Then his mind went back to what she said and he looked at her curiously. "Did you just say your heart was bad?" Prongs ran into the room then and went right up to him. "Prongs!" Albus exclaimed, rubbing the dog's back. "Thank you, Callie. I thought I lost him!" He got up, went over to her and gave her a one armed hug. "Of course we're still friends."

Scorpius smirked as he listened to Albus. He had to laugh at what the man said, “No insult intended and I’m sure under my influence Luke will learn all of that. He is a Malfoy after all.” He said. “I can only hope that Luke is worse than I am.” He looked over to his boy and started to wonder if the boy even had a bad bone in his body. “I wouldn’t like a kid like you. I’ll leave that up to your own future.” He stated with a slight laugh. He did have to admit that would be almost a scary idea on its own but then it’s the same with his own. He also realized that the Malfoy-Potter link was no longer in effect as no other Potter had a child so his child will be entering school without any Potters.

He glanced to Albus as he spoke about Phoenix Goyle. He ran through his mind of what he had heard about the man before he turned to Albus, “We’ll just have to make sure that Potter doesn’t come within in a hundred feet of you the same with Phoenix Goyle. Not to mention your cousin Rose would be pissed if anything happened to you.” He stated as he glanced over to the dogs and his son playing to the side. “You’re not as bad as they thing or people believe but it benefits you.” He said then looked back to Albus when he spoke on Maxwell. “I ran into him when he first returned. I did inform him that he wasn’t going to get near you and I wasn’t going to hand you over to him. I’m not certain as to where he got his information but I know it’s wrong because I know who was behind it.” He stated with a darkened look in his eyes. “I’m working on taking him down. Just hopefully it’s before he finds you.” He said then smirked as he looked to Albus, “You and Annabella want to go to china for a month?” he questioned. “All expenses paid.”

“She’s always got a home here. No matter what goes on or happens between Kota and I.” He said. He wasn’t surprised by the possibility of her thinking that with everything that has gone on between him and Kota. They didn’t always have the greatest of moments. He nodded, “Yeah, I heard about Kai, Kota hasn’t stopped about her. She’s panicking and taking everything Kai has said really hard and to heart. Kota is seeking a lot of help to deal with the problem since its effecting most of us and Luke. It’s almost to the point that I have to pry Luke from her.” he stated in a more serious tone. “I’m seeking the girl out to have a talk with her and see if I can’t straighten a few things out. I might have to do the same with Miles.” He added. “Honestly, I don’t blame him for hating me on that aspect. It was my hatred towards myself, that drove Kota and I apart. He should only fear me if he plans on betraying me.” He said in a lower tone so the ears around the house couldn’t pick it all up. “The only time Miles should fear me is if he is planning on betraying me, the Dark lord, and the gang.”

He glanced between Callie and Albus for a moment. “Callie, I thought you were going to tell him.” he said before he shook his head at her, “It’s your condition, your choice, you’re voice in sharing.” He stated as he released her. he looked to the dog then to Callie and Albus. He figured that it must have been awkward for the two of them but brushed it off. “Things will work out.”

Callista smiled as she saw how happy Albus was to see his dog it had taken her three days to get him out of the Potter house without being seen by James or the others in that house but she did it and seeing the smile on his face she knew it was worth it. Looking between the two as they talked about Kota and Anna she sighed there were so many people in his house but none could help her with what her mind was going though. Did Aidan really just have to leave or was he upset that it was her that turned out to be his relative? She was so scared of losing anyone that her mind had a hard time understanding that sometimes people had things to do but they would always come back if they were needed.

Smiling she nodded and slowly and carefully wrapped an arm around him returning the hug before moving away a little. “Scor I think Abebith ate Midnight” she said in a calm tone before she decided that she was really just trying to talk to the boys but knew that she didn’t have much to say about the topics they were on. “Goyle? I hate that kid” she said in a small dark tone. “Yea Miles has a room and so does his girlfriend if they ever need a place the Bletchley’s are apart of this family now that Luke is around” she said calmly again. “I’m sure Miles will come around if not Kota spend the last of her money on a great mansion for Miles and Rehema with house elves and cooks so that they would be set”

Looking at Scorpius she laughed and then sighed “Severus has been gone brother he was relaxing I was not about to worry him and he just got back and I just told him about it” she said wondering if Scor even was listening to her. True Callie was having a real hard time hearing that Albus was seeing another but she was not going to show it well at least she was going to try. “You didn’t answer me is it time for my pills?”
