Julian had just arrived at the Quidditch Pitch and was standing along one of the sides by a helpful bench set up. He had sent Poppy a letter asking her if she would come down to join him at the Pitch, also a*suring her that his sister would not be there and that she did not have to worry about being scrutinized by the girl. Needless to say, he had not been very pleased with his sister's attitude toward Poppy the last time and he wanted to make sure it had not done anything to harm their relationship. He cared about her far too much to allow his little sister to get in the way. After all, she had no right nor need to judge the people he chose to date. It wasn't like Poppy were a Slytherin or part of the Gang.
No, he had invited Poppy down because he figured both of them could use some purely light-hearted practice for Quidditch. And considering he played Chaser and she played Keeper, they were in a good position to do so. Even though it wasn't the best way to practice, being from different Houses, it gave them time to spend together doing something that they both enjoyed. Plus, it was a fairly nice day and even Julian could not deny that it would have been a pity to spend the whole day locked away in the castle. He only hoped Poppy would show up and that Cammi had not intimidated her.....
And so he stopped at the bench, setting his broom down for a moment to make sure everything was alright. He was dressed in his usual long sleeve white t-shirt and jeans though he was wearing shoes for the sake of being outside and playing Quidditch. He decided that, while he waited for Poppy to show up, he might as well warm up with a few laps around the stadium.
So, picking up his broom and mounting it, he took off into the air, circling the stadium in lazy circles for the time being and keeping an eye out for the girl who had captured and held his heart. Hopefully, if luck was on their side, they would not have to worry about any crazy possessive siblings coming out to bother them.

Poppy was reading a play by Shakespeare. This one was hamlet. It was a great play. This was perhaps her millionth time reading the play, but it still held shock for her whenever she read it. She had just read the last word when she heard a tapping at the windown. She opened it, the owl flew in, dropped the letter next to her on the couch and left again. Poppy opened it and grinned as she read it. Yes, Julian still liked her. She'd been wondering if perhaps, he would stop liking her because of his sister. She threw the book aside and ran upstairs.
Throwing clothes all over the room, she finally found a pair of jeans and t-shirt that had princess written on it and she tied her red hair back in a ponytail. Long hair tended to slow a person down when they were flying, so she always tied it back. Then she put on some make up that she had taken from her sister, grabbed the broom and practically flew out of the dorm, the common room and down the steps. Poppy was just so anxious to see him again and alone. She didn't have to worry about his sisters interrogating her. How was she supposed to make a good impression on someone that was determined to hate her.
She understood why Cammi had done that. The girl was probably just scared of losing her brother. If she had liked Bart, she would be that way with Lyssa. She lost her brother a long time ago, though, so it didn't matter. Poppy finally reached the pitch and grinned at Julian as she saw him flying around the pitch. She mounted her broom and was in the air in seconds, flying up to him. "Hey, Jules," she greeted, flying around him.

Julian had continued flying about the pitch, waiting for Poppy and hoping she would come. He didn't like to think that he doubted things, well, particularly his relationship with Poppy. But with the way Poppy had been treated... He still needed to talk to Cammi about that, and tell her further intrusions like that would not be tolerated. He was not about to let Poppy go because his sister was rude and was acting out where she had no place. It would be dealt with... And preferably before any further transgressions happened.
The flying felt good, and it had seemed to be a while since he had been able to do it. There had been quite a bit going on, and school a*signments for the fifth year O.W.L.s were time consuming if anything. Practical applications took a while to learn, after all. Even if he was impeccable with books, praticing spells was still imperative and took time... It was a good thing formal practices hadn't started yet.
He looped around the Pitch, before taking a few pa*ses across it, then around the hoops, testing out his broom and making sure he hadn't lost any skill since the last time he practiced. Flying felt so natural to him... Which probably came from his mother's own skill at Quidditch. Speaking of which, he would have to write to her soon. He knew the twins disliked their mother... but he did not want her to feel every child hated her. He certainly did not.
And then Poppy was there, and he let a small smile grace his features. He was glad to see that she had indeed come. Bringing his broom to a stop so that it hovered in midair, he looked over at her. "Hello Poppy, how are you today?" he responded by way of greeting. "Its good to see that you have come," he added, as he was glad to see her. It was a little bit easier to act a little less strange around her...
