Xyliana sighed as she stared at her dress she really didn’t want to go to the dance but Eddie had asked her and she didn’t want to upset him Taking a deep breath she tried to calm down this was her one chance to show Eddie that she really liked him and the rumors of her liking were true and that she really did want him to ask her out she was just scared that this was all a trick part of her still believed that it was just that.
Looking around most the girls were already dressed and gone. She wasn’t even dressed, maybe she was lame or stupid or maybe she should just not go and tell Eddie she was sorry later? Finally after she calmed down she got up and started to get ready slipping the dress over her head she zipped it up and spun around smiling at herself. Quickly doing her hair she moved to sit down and to put her shoes on.
It was time there was no turning back Eddie was waiting for her she had to go or he would start to get worried that she was bailing on him and she didn’t want that. After hearing how nice she looked by a few students that weren’t going she continued to the great hall. It was the longest walk that she had ever taken. Making her way down the stairs and around the group of people she walked into the great hall and started to look around for Eddie. Smiling as she saw Jedrek and Isabella she turned around in a circle as she continued to look for him. “Eddie” she whispered with a tears starting to get in her eyes. Just then she realized that maybe he was going to stand her up after all he was in slytherin and she was in hufflepuff so maybe he was playing a cruel joke on her, spinning she started to look for her brothers maybe one of them dance with her so this pretty dress didn’t go to waste.

Eddie looked into the mirror in the boys dorm. He wasn't dressed yet and stood there in just the dress pants and white tank top. He looked at his left arm and saw the mark. He still couldn't believe that he was a Death Eater just like his cousin Albus was. He was now equal to him but he still have a lot of ways to go to catch up to him. Which didn't bother him much. He was just glad that they were able to be even closer now than before. He looked at his watch and he realized that he needed to finished getting ready. He put on his white button down shirt and put on the black blazer jacket over it and combed his hair and put his shoes on.
He knew now there was no backing out of this. He wasn't going to let her down not tonight. It was pretty much his last chance to tell her that he loves her and he knew that Scorpius was right. He shouldn't be afraid of her brother. He should just pull the bull by it's horn and let him be mad. He wasn't really sure if he wanted that but he knew that he loved her and he would accept her even if she wasn't part of the Gang or a Death Eater. His Uncle would just have to understand that.
Walking into the Common Room he spotted a few who weren't going. Shayleigh commented that he looked like a Prince. He told her that he hoped so and off he went. He stopped for a moment before entering the dance hall. He walked outside to find a flower or two for Xyliana. He saw some pretty flowers and picked a dozen of the roses out of the garden. He didn't care if he got into trouble. they were for a girl that he really liked. Brushing himself off he went back inside the school and into the Ball Room. He searched and finally spotted Xyliana. After a quick breath of air he made his way. He looked and saw Dannie and saw that she was having fun and thought she looked pretty. But when he saw Xyliana he knew that she was the prettiest girl in the school. When he got to her he held out the flowers. "These are for you Xyliana." he said with a smile on his face. "You look gorgeous tonight!" he said with a smile on his face.

Xyliana continued to look for Lysander or Lorcan but knew that they probably both decided not to come sighing as she turned to leave and almost rammed right into Eddie. “Eddie!” she said in shock as she froze in her spot; staring at the flowers she could not believe he was here she was happy to see him for that meant he might really like her. “You look great Eddie” she said quickly still frozen and scared to move. Blushing as he heard him call her gorgeous no one had ever said that to her before. “Thank you” moving a hand to her cheek she felt that they were hot and instantly realized that she was seriously blushing she prayed he didn’t say anything.
Gently taking the roses in her hand she smiled “Roses are my favorite, thank you so much” she explained before she realized it she was leaning into kiss his cheek this just made her blush more. Happily she reminded herself that her brothers were not here to pick on her so she could blush all she wanted it didn’t matter plus she really liked Eddie and was now no longer scared to show it. Pulling out her wand she waved it and the roses disappeared “They will look nice on the window next to my bed” she said with a smile and a laugh. “You do look really nice tonight but are you really sure you want to be seen with a hufflepuff?” she was still a little scared about him not like her so she was still not sure what to say or do with him.
Finally she took a deep breath and place her wand back in her hair and placed her hair back into a ponytail it had fall out of it when she pulled her wand out in the first place. “So…..? What would you like to do?” she asked not really sure what should be done this was the first time she was asked to a dance.
