Isabella sighed as she stared at her dress she really didn’t want to go to the dance but Jed wanted her to go and so did Poppy. Both had told her over and over again that it was time for her to try and let go of the past. Bella shook her head that was so easy for them to say Poppy really didn’t like their father and Jed didn’t lose anyone in the war and to top it off they didn’t tell their father that they hated them like she had with hers. That would be the one thing that she will always regret. Taking a deep breath she tried to calm down if she wasn’t careful she was going to trigger a episode and end up in the hospital wing instead of the dance.
Looking around most the girls were already dressed and gone even her sister was probably done by now and she wasn’t even dressed, maybe she was lame or stupid or maybe she should just not go and tell Jed she was sorry later? Finally after she calmed down she got up and started to get ready slipping the dress over her head she zipped it up and spun around smiling at herself. Quickly doing her hair she moved to sit down and to put her shoes on.
It was time there was no turning back Jedrek was waiting for her she had to go or he would start to get worried. After hearing how nice she looked by a few students that weren’t going she continued to the great hall. It was the longest walk that she had ever taken. Making her way down the stairs and around the group of people she walked into the great hall and started to look around for Jedrek.
“Jed where are you?” she whispered softly.

Jed was late. The dorm was empty and he would bet that so was the common room. It was taking too long, trying to figure out the tie. A person would think that he’d be used to it, but he wasn’t. He hated ties. He wore a pure white suit, white shirt and white shoes. The only black that he would be wearing was his tie, if he could get it right. After a few minutes of messing with it, he decided to leave it undone. Jedrek unbuttoned the top button of his shirt and then combed his hair.
He checked his time and realized that he had to get there soon. Bella was probably wondering where he was. He didn’t need her to start thinking that he was standing her up. Jed ran from the dorm, out of the common room and up the stairs. He buttoned his coat and walked into the great hall, looking through the crowd of students, trying to spot his girlfriend. He pushed himself through the crowd, stepping on feet and getting a few students mad. Hopefully, he didn’t do that while dancing. Jedrek wasn’t that great a dancer, but he was going to do his best.
“Bella,” he said, hoping that she would hear him. He pushed through some more people and that was when he spotted her. He walked behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. “You look beautiful tonight. Would you like to dance?” Jedrek walked in front of her and held out his hand, smiling at her. “Unless if you would prefer to walk around outside for a bit. We don’t have to be in here through the whole thing.” He didn’t take his eyes off her as he waited for her reply. He hoped that she was still talking.

Bella looked up when she heard her name and smiled seeing Jed dressed all in white he looked great and matched her dress perfectly; the funny part was is that she didn’t tell him what color her dress was she laughed she was about to spin herself to face him but stopped as he walked around to face her. She blushed as he told her she looked beautiful “You look handsome tonight all but that tie, mind if I fix it?” she asked but didn’t wait for him to answer as she reach up and fixed his tie when she was done she dropped her hands at her side and sighed as she was reminded of her father once again; he was the one that taught her to do that when she was younger telling her that one day her future boyfriend could need help with it, she would always giggled after he said that. Looking up at Jed she shook the thought out of her head she was not going to think about her father tonight it would only cause problems and might trigger a seizure; Bella didn’t want that not at the dance.
Isabella was quiet for a minute as she thought about what she wanted to do; honestly she didn’t care what she did just as long as she was with Jedrek she didn’t mind, scanning the ballroom she watched as Jed’s brother Eddie walked over to Xyliana. Bella had to wonder if he was going to tell that girl that he really did care about her not taking her eyes off them “hey Jed, do you think your brother is going to have the guts to really ask Xyliana out? If he does it’s about time that girl really likes him” she added as she turned her attention back on the wonderful man staying in front of her. “hmmm…why don’t we go for a walk its beginning to get crowded in here” crowds were not Isabella’s thing she would rather stick to a small group of four then but surround by ten or more.
Hugging him tightly before taking his hand and fighting her way through the crowd to get to the doors so that they could be alone; finally they were away from the crowds of people and she could breathe again. “Man sometimes there are just too many people around” she said with a laugh. Wrapping her arm around his waist as they walked for the door.

He wasn’t a dancer and had no date, so his plans were just to steal girls away from other guys. It was, after all, what he did the best. His suit made him look good and the sweet smile that he shows to girls was the icing on the cake. Louis definitely wasn’t going to have any trouble finding a girl. After getting the girl, one dance and then they would disappear. It was going to be a short dance for one very lucky girl. He buttoned his coat and left the dorm.
He sat down in the common room for a bit. There was no reason that he had to be on time. He had a while before anyone was going to be dancing. It was always better to wait until they were, then he could just get between the guy and the girl. Louis watched some of the most pretty girls in Hufflepuff leave, talking about their dates. There were so many cute girls in Hufflepuff and he couldn’t touch them that night. What did the teachers think this would do? Bring houses together? Teachers were so stupid. This was never going to work. After tonight, most of the happy couples won’t even talk to each other again.
When the common room completely emptied, he left and walked slowly to the great hall. He stood by the doors and looked around. It wasn’t long before he spotted Sev dancing with Bella Bletchley and Eddie with some Scamander girl. Both of the girls were huffies, so he couldn’t have them. Scanning the room more, he spotted Jedrek and Isabella. Sure, they were a cute couple and he was going to hell after the dance, but Isabella was cute and he wanted her. Louis walked over to them and bowed slightly. “Isabella, would you like to dance?”
